Ian (and his team) was recommended to us by our wedding planner and from our first meeting in his apartment, we knew that he was going to be our wedding photographer. He immediately made us feel at ease and was very enthusiastic about the locations for our engagement shoot and wedding. Our engagement shoot in the Poconos turned out even better than we could have imagined and we had a ton of fun while doing it! On the day of our wedding, Ian did an amazing job scooping out locations for our first look and portraits prior to the ceremony and they were absolutely stunning. He and his second photographer captured the ceremony and reception in such a beautiful way; everyone has complemented us on how fabulous the photos are. Plus, Ian is such a chill guy to be around that it definitely helped with the wedding day jitters! We highly recommend him!

Ian (and his assistant DJ) were absolutely incredible. We got married on July 6th in Connecticut, and they both traveled from Philadelphia to our event without an issue. They helped organize the timeline of the morning, scoped out the area for first look locations, and were super flexible and professional throughout the entire day/night. Ian is relaxed which I loved - his style allows for natural photographs without going through the typical poses that some find cheesy. Ian and DJ were patient when family asked for specific photos throughout the reception and made everyone feel comfortable.
We also were lucky enough to have Viva Love for our engagement photos back in September of 2017 - and all the above applies for that shoot as well! If you are thinking of booking Ian, don't hesitate. He is wonderful!

As my husband and I searched for our 'perfect' photographer, we encountered the good, the bad and the ugly. We spoke to number photographers who had a clear vision for the day that was VERY different from what we had in mind. From the first time we spoke with Ian via FaceTime, we new that he was going to fit perfectly into our special day. They got amazing shots during our wedding mass, followed by such a natural photo shoot with my husband outside of our venue. My guests haven't stopped complementing the shots that they got, 6 months later. I think there is a picture of every guest at our wedding somewhere in the gallery, and that is priceless. Ian and DJ- THANK YOU! We now have these pictures to remember our day for years to come. We can't sing your praises loud enough!

Ian and his team are AWESOME! We could not be happier with how our photos turned out. My husband and I are pretty awkward in front of the camera, so we booked an engagement session with Ian to get more comfortable. Ian made the whole process super easy and helped us feel ready for the big day.

Our wedding photos capture the perfect range of emotions and a great mix of friends and family. Everyone will tell you that your wedding day goes by way too fast, but Ian's photos help us remember and savor every moment. Thank you, Viva Love team!

We had an all around fantastic experience with Ian, who from the get go was friendly and accommodating. Though we live abroad and couldn't meet Ian in person until our wedding, he was nonetheless in contact as needed throughout the planning process. Day of, Ian took charge, helped us find the most photogenic spots to take portraits, and directed all shoots so perfectly that we somehow came out looking like models (!). Having top notch wedding photos was an important priority for my husband and me when we were planning our wedding. We knew it would be one of the only things we would have after all the excitement of big day was over and I am so glad that we chose to go with Viva Love Photography. Ian's style is so distinctive, beautiful and timeless and you can feel the emotions leaping out of each photo. Ian's second shooter,D.J., was also a dream to work with and their collaborative process was really fun to watch. They each had really unique ideas for where to shoot our bridal portraits and we all had a blast running into old barns, greenhouses and tramping through woods to get the perfect shots! We were on such a high after our first look and portraits, that it completely took away any nerves that I had for the ceremony because we were having such a blast. Easy to work with, professional, funny, insanely talented - I sincerely cannot recommend Viva Love Photography highly enough!

Simply put, Ian and his team are fantastic in all aspects, from photo quality to acumen on how to work an event. The first look, and photo shoot was a highlight of our day, with how he planned the procession of the shoot, and how he set up and organized our families. The pictures turned out amazing, and do yourself a favor, upgrade the photo album. It's unique, and most importantly, beautiful. Not only is it a special piece from our day, it really showcased the excellence of the photos, highlighting the unique qualities Ian put into his work. Hire him without hesitation.

Our wedding photography was the most important factor for my bride and I, and the factor to which we had dedicated the biggest chunk of our budget. We were dead set on getting the best possible person to capture the day for us. When we met Ian, we knew we had found the man for the job. His experience with weddings was apparent from our first meeting. He immediately put us at ease, and even helped us maximize our photography budget by letting us customize our package to get everything we wanted - including video! On the day of, Ian, his second shooter, and the videographer were all very professional, and an absolute joy to be around. I cannot recommend Ian and his team highly enough.

My husband and I first met Ian when he photographed our friends' wedding, which we were both in. We got to see first-hand how he interacted with our friends all day, and how he set up his photos in a natural, glamorous way. When Danny proposed, we both knew we HAD to have Ian for our big day. We really couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Ian and Viva Love. He was quick to respond when we had questions, and really walked us through the whole process. He even helped us figure out the day-of timing! Our photos turned out gorgeous, like we knew they would. 10/10 would hire again. :)

I was so nervous about choosing a wedding photographer because it was super important to me and my (now) husband to have really good photos from our wedding. I can't believe what good luck we had with finding Viva Love! A friend had referred me to another photographer who referred me to Ian and -I swear- it was meant to be! My husband and I are both usually a little camera shy, but Ian took both our engagement and wedding photos, and working with him was like hanging out with an old friend. Photography was one of the most important things for our wedding, and DJ did a beautiful job with our photos! Out of all the aspects of the wedding, the most important to my husband and I were the pictures. I spent a lot of time looking through different photographers in the area, and when it came to Viva Love something simply stood out. Ian was already booked for the day, but his associate DJ was available. Going with DJ was the best decision we could have made. The pictures came out absolutely wonderful. Between him and the second shooter Blaise, the entire day was comfortable and seamless. Their ability to capture the perfect natural moments of the day is an uncommon gift, a gift for which my husband and I will be forever grateful.

Ian and his associate DJ, blew me away when I when I saw their portfolio. They offer something totally unique and special. They're true visionaries in the most unpretentious way and capture each moment with beauty. They artistically and accurately caught all the fun, all the tears, and all the details that made our wedding day so special. Not to mention, they're so so unbelievably easy to work with. They were flexible with our last minute change of plans on an engagement shoot, and their comfortable, personable attitudes made it easy to relax and act naturally. They were extremely professional and considerate when it came to business and correspondence, easing the stress of another thing to coordinate. And that's a huge part of it! They understand that their calm energy affects the people they're shooting and ultimately results in better images. For what it's worth, we had several mentions from our bridal party about how easy and relaxed it all was... and trust us, it shows in how natural the pictures look. They were absolutely incredible from start to finish. We can't recommend Viva Love enough. Top notch.

Booking Viva Love Photography was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Ian is responsive, attentive, and so fun to work with! Him and DJ made the wedding photography process laid back, and it felt like we were just hanging out with two super talented rad friends! It poured on our wedding day, and they made the best of a rainy situation, and still took amazing, artistic, and creative shots! Ian photographed our City Hall marriage in Philadelphia and did a truly fantastic job. Neither one of us is terribly comfortable in front of a camera, so we were both worried about our session with him prior to the actual ceremony. He did a great job of making us feel very comfortable, despite pre-marriage jitters and particularly brisk weather. Both the candid photos he took beforehand and the family/group photos he took afterward are beautiful - I can't imagine our day having been preserved so lovingly by anyone else. Ian is obviously very passionate about what he does, and both my partner and I will be forever grateful for the intimate service he provided on our special day.

I cannot say enough about Ian, DJ, and Dan. When we first saw Ian’s photos we knew Viva Love Photography was exactly what we were looking for. The photos are timeless, personal, and full of emotion. Ian is a master at his art. He did a phenomenal job capturing the fine details of our engagement/wedding. With his relaxed style you will get photographs that are natural, not staged or cheesy. They have a timeless eloquence to them we adore.

Not only is Ian a master at his art, but he is passionate about his art. An ex. that highlights his passion follows. The morning of our wedding Ian drove around an area he was unfamiliar with to search for a first-look location for us. He could have easily done the first look in our hotel, however he took it upon himself to find a beautiful place instead since we hadn't a spot in mind when he asked.

Seeing Ian go above and beyond for us set the stage for his professional services throughout the rest of the day. He has a creative eye and found cool ways to shoot that not any photographer would consider. For ex. at our reception Ian took pictures of us inside a field of flowers off the beaten path. We would have never thought of that, but leave it to Ian and he will come up with amazingly creative ideas in the moment.

Ian genuinely cares about you and your guests. He took time to meet before the wedding to discuss the timeline for the day. He accommodated all requests. When you contact Ian he responds promptly.

We have been to a lot of weddings and have been photographed as part of wedding parties. Ian is the best and most fun photographer we both have worked with yet. His assistant DJ did an excellent job capturing the guys bridal party and their personalities. Fun experiences with good hearted people makes for amazing photos. Ian and DJ were so kind and perceptive. Hire them - they care about what they are doing!

We have received many compliments. For ex. a friend's comment regarding one of Ian's photographs of the girls bridal party was, "This looks right out of a bridal magazine. Beautiful!"

We look forward to our photo album Ian will make. Will not be easy to pick faves! Love em all!

Ian is truly an artist. He sees the world in a unique way and thinks outside the box for the most perfect shot! From start to finish he is meticulous and creative. We found Viva Love online through google search and different wedding websites. I did not receive a "word of mouth" recommendation but PLEASE consider this a "word of mouth" recommendation. Viva Love is AWESOME!!!
The important things I wanted in our wedding photographer were an awesome photo booth and photographers/videographers who were not annoying, overwhelming, in your face and rude (Like I've experienced at other weddings). These guys were none of those things and actually they were funny, fun, kind, understanding and nice!
The assistant was DJ.
They came right on time and did not pressure us to do weird photos or make any of us feel uncomfortable. They were very understanding with me adding photos during the day/night (like wait! I need a photo with this cousin etc...)
We received our web album a little after 2 weeks after our wedding! This is very fast!
I feel like this review does not give justice to the experience we had with Viva Love and his team. Since the first time that we Skyped, Ian made us feel comfortable. He was always very prompt at responded no matter what time of the day it was. We are overwhelmingly satisfied with how the day went and with the results of the photographs!

Before the Wedding: Where do we begin to describe Viva Love’s Photography service? In one word, awesome! We had our wedding on April 16, 2016 and even before Ian became our wedding photographer, his professionalism shined through like a million stars. He met with us and diligently went over all the point-by-point details. He was very gracious to accommodate some of our rather quirky requests. He also devised an efficient and responsive way to communicate with us through the planning phase of the wedding. The entire process was remarkably seamless.
Wedding day: Ian was on time, and spot on in getting all our shots, including family and friends. He was very supportive, as you might expect. He worked tirelessly and efficiently to make sure we got our sunset shots in before sundown. His work was so outstanding that several of our guests commented on his professionalism and approach.
After the wedding: The proof is in the pudding, the pictures came out as gorgeous and timeless masterpieces. The sunset shots which he so energetically worked to help us get was the crowning joy of a remarkable photo shoot. He was also provided post-wedding support, he’s literally an email away on any questions and requests we have had. This says a lot about him that he continues to offer support long after the last wedding flowers have been removed. Alas, it’s not possible to talk about Viva Love Photography without talking about Ian himself. As you might have gleaned from the review so far, his work is stellar. In addition, he is truly wonderful person with lots of enthusiastic, positive energy. He is disciplined, courteous and a spectacular delight to work with. Oh my gosh, my family and I are in LOVE with our pictures from Ian!! I love how he was able to capture those "must have moments," as well as all of the small details that my mom, sisters and I worked so hard on! He was also super accommodating and creative. Bad weather forced me to change a lot of my plans and he was able to come up with solutions to make it fun and memorable. Some of my favorite photos he took are those "in the moment" moments, that you don't even know he's taking... truly magical!!! Ian's an amazing photographer, artist and person. Our wedding was at the end of November and my fiancé and I could not have been happier with our wedding photos. Ian was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond our expectations. From working with our hectic schedules to meet in preparation, planning a stunning first look at Penn's Landing, managing all of our wedding people (even the neurotic, nervous, and control-freaks), to working in a time crunch, etc. - I could go on and on about how great it was. The biggest thing for me as the bride was that Ian remained calm, cool, and collected the entire time which made me feel so much more relaxed and confident. He and his second shooter, DJ, were on top of everything and the whole day ran smoothly from start to finish, largely with his help and guidance. Our guests continuously commented that they barely even noticed the photographers yet they did not miss any details of the night. The photos came out breathtaking, detailed, and unique- the latter part being our primary reason for choosing Ian. He was professional, personable, and an overall pleasant person to be around. My husband and I spent weeks, WEEKS looking at a ton of Photographers.
We poured over their photos, compared costs, made charts and Viva Love stood out from the rest.
The minute we talked to Ian we fell in love. He was sweet, caring, fun loving, talented, and amazing! By the time our wedding rolled around we wanted to invite him as a guest not have him work it. Having him around the day of was great. IAn kept us laughing, kept us relaxed - It never felt like a chore to take photos (and I HATE having my picture taken).
We've gotten our pics back and as expected they're unbelievable. Viva love did a great job. (Even surprised us with a few shots to check out during the reception).
I am so happy to have had them be a part of our day. It's been a few months since our wedding and our guests still rave about how great viva love was.

Ian was an absolutey perfect photographer for our wedding day. Our style was modern, casual, but still bright and lively and Ian completely understood our aesthetic and how to capture it all in photos, even when I couldn't verbalize exactly what I meant! I loved Ian's personal work of portraits and shows, and I feel like he really captured the importance of the wedding without it feeling overly formal or cheesy. He was incredibly communicative, organized, and relaxed, and captured so many moments I didn't even get to see myself throughout the night! Ian is the coolest guy and the only person I would have wanted taking my wedding pictures. All of our guests and family loved him and his presence. We felt like he knew us without even knowing us, and he was practically just another friend attending the wedding. We are generally awkward and anxious people and I'm pretty sure Ian is the only reason we have amazing photos. We just got them back today and are so happy with all of them, and there are a lot. He did such a great job making us look great, and grasping the feeling we wanted within all of them. We couldn't have asked for better! Viva Love rules!

My fiancé and I are very happy we found Ian as our photographer for our engagement and wedding. Being completely new to the process and doing this without a planner, Ian made the process very relaxed and took the time to get to know us personally to help better guide us. After reading countless glowing reviews, we had a great feeling from the beginning about Viva Love. Meeting Ian in person and getting to know him sealed the deal for us and we booked him as our photographer for our July wedding. Like all of his work, our photos turned out just beautiful. We loved that Ian’s philosophy of capturing the day really aligned with our desire to capture candid natural moments as they unfolded, rather than overly forced or cheesy Pinterest style bridal shoots which are becoming more of the norm these days. Instead we have photos that are timeless, yet still fresh and stylish. Ian beautifully captured the many special moments of our wedding day. Viva Love is truly talented, with a serious passion for the craft. And that's just the work! You could fill another review entirely on the great personality—warm, friendly and funny! He and his assistant DJ had a way of making us feel so comfortable and at ease which can be a tall order with all the stress and pressure of everything wedding. I found Viva Love Photography (specifically Ian) through another photographer that I really wanted for our wedding. I am so glad they were unavailable because I can't imagine anyone better! Ian is an artist with true talent when it comes to photography. On top of that, he is so great to work with from the first consult all the way up until receiving our photos. He got to know us on a personal level and we hit it off immediately. His calm, confident personally is perfect for overwhelming (in a good way) wedding days! We were running a little behind on time and Ian stayed super calm but moved quickly to get all of our photos in so that we didn't miss out on any good photo ops! My biggest fear was that our photos would looked "posed" and fake. There is nothing cheesy or corny about Ian's photography style. I was truly amazed at how beautiful and natural they all turned out - even when we thought we were posing! Our family and friends have all expressed how great our photos are and I have already recommended Ian to three people (and I've only had my photos for 3 months)! At the outset of our planning process, my husband and I were quite nervous about having to select a photographer. Aside from a single photography class back in college, we knew next to nothing about what to look for in a candidate. Our collective anxiety was further increased by all the horror stories we heard about couples getting shafted by unqualified or inexperienced "photographers." All that was put to rest after meeting Ian for the very first time. Our experience working with him was better than anything we could have hoped for. His positive, calm, and cool demeanor was the perfect remedy to ease our nervousness. If you're like me and you feel awkward having to pose for a camera then Ian is definitely is your guy. Photography was a very important component to our wedding planning. We looked at dozens and dozens of photographer's portfolios and we chose Ian because of his excellent technical skills, mastery of light and posing and most importantly his ability to really capture spontaneous moments. Ian was a dream to work with. He is well-prepared, professional and works quickly and efficiently. He is calm and reassuring during that swirl of activity that preceeds the transformation from everyday self to "bride". Ian found several locations near our ceremony site for portraits that had magical afternoon lighting. He gave great direction to ensure flattering portraits. Most of all, he made two average looking people look gorgeous and feel very comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. Seriously, I wish Ian could be our photographer for everything because I've never looked so great in pictures. The detail shots are thoughtful and beautifully composed. His candids are outstanding. The photos from the reception are fun and energetic and lively. Ian is friendly and genuine. My husband and I could not be any happier with our decision to hire Ian with Viva Love as our wedding photographer. I've never been into photography and always hated the way I looked in photos so I dragged my feet a little trying to find a photographer for my wedding. Don't make my mistake! Most of the good photographers will book up fast. From the moment I met with Ian, I couldn't believe he was still available!
I was sold as soon as he busted out a sample wedding photography timeline and checklist. Creative people aren't known to be so organized but alas, they appealed to my methodical, checklist loving side. Ian had also done research on our venue before our consultation meeting and started talking about ideas he had immediately. That got me more excited about photography than I had ever been before, which my husband kindly pointed out to me. Ultimately, it was these two factors and the fact that they made us feel so at ease that sealed the deal.
Ian was so fun and easy to work with leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding. He’s a great listener and went above and beyond our expectations. With not being so comfortable in front of a camera, Ian kept things light and relaxed with his witty remarks and jokes and made you feel less self-conscious just with the attitude and presence he brought. It's a great combination the day of the wedding when stress and emotions (so many emotions) can run high! Plus, you're going to spend most of your day with your photographer so you'll want to hire people you want to be around for that long.

If we were to recommend anyone from our wedding it would be Viva Love Photography, no questions asked. Ian captured everything we hoped for, but made it so much better than we expected. Everyone who has seen pictures of our wedding comments on how unbelievable they are - and we agree. In addition to taking wonderful pictures, he consistently went above and beyond. After already planning for a 9 hour day with us, he went to various locations to scope out great photo opportunities the morning of the wedding. Ian also had our wedding album created for us 8 days after the wedding because he knew we were moving out of town. Needless to say, the wedding album blew us away! In summary, Ian was fantastic! After checking out a few photographers and looking through a lot of portfolios, we knew that Viva Love was the right choice for us.

Ian did our both our wedding and engagement session and was very friendly, enthusiastic, and professional. Just watching him work, it was very apparent he is very good at what he does.

Ian did a great job taking photos during our ceremony without anyone noticing his presence. Ian did not mind at all when my mom wanted to add on 6-7 additional groups to the original shot sheet we had sent him. He also helped fix my now-husband and groomsmen's pocket squares, taught us all how to hold a bouquet the right way, directed my large family in a professional and efficient way, and was excellent with the kids in our group.

Ian sent us a teaser of some of the photos to share with our friends and family as a preview 2 days after the wedding, as well as an email of what to expect in the coming weeks in terms of receiving our photos. I highly recommend Viva Love and would choose Ian all over again.

I would recommend Viva Love Photography to anyone looking for an excellent and talented photographer with endless energy, a positive attitude, and a knack for great shots. The day of, It was raining on and off, ruining everyone’s mood. Ian came prepared with umbrellas for my husband and me to take the photos we wanted, and stayed in the rain until we all felt we got all the shots. My husband and I are two people that typically dislike PDA, but Ian had a way to keep us fully relaxed and able to be ourselves the entire time to really have fun with the whole photo experience, and take fun natural shots outside together. His ability to coordinate a large bridal party was amazing! He worked quickly and professionally and everyone was enjoying the mood he created! There are a lot of good wedding photographers that we looked at, and ultimately Viva Love won me and my partner over. During the sit down talks we had with the owner, Ian, it was obivous in the way he spoke he not only knew what he was doing, but was incredibly passionate about capturing our day - not to mention very talented. I can’t believe how great Viva love was to use for my wedding! After hearing (and seeing) a lot of horror stories about some wedding photographers friends and family had used while planning my wedding I wasn’t exactly excited to get one of my own. Choosing viva love turned out to be the best choice I made while planning the wedding. The photographer took care of us so well, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing, they had my full trust. Good thing too, because now that i sit down to write this review I'm thinking about how much fun we had the whole time. I'm very surprised that it didn't feel strange or uncomfortable to be photographed all day but it was very fun and I feel like Ian did a super good job of making it feel like he was getting me in my own environment, instead of the typical wedding scenes you see. I was a little unsure about how to choose a photographer, but I went with my gut and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Picking this photographer was certainly the best choice I made, and if I had to do it all over again, I’d definitely choose Viva Love. On top of making everyone in the wedding party feel super at ease, he got the finished pictures to us so fast, I could hardly believe they were real! Ian shot our wedding at the end of June. Despite it being the middle of his busiest season he got us our photos way faster than he promised. Viva Love was one of the first vendors we went with when planning our Phipps Conservatory wedding. He had shot there a few times and came highly recommended. We were into his photos because they were so different than what you normally see from wedding photographers, where everything is posed and all the photos look the same. When we met him it was like we were getting coffee with an old friend! At the wedding Ian had so many great and interesting ideas, and was so excited to try new things… He would pose us places and ways that we never wouldve thought of, and the photos came out amazingly. He also gave us a lot of freedom to be ourselves while he was shooting our portraits, so they look really natural. We 100% recommend Viva Love over and over. He gave us lots of beautiful traditional photos, but also photos that really reflect that he’s an artist. Viva Love Photography is worth every penny!!!

Hiring Ian is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Him and his second shooter Jack were incredibly warm and funny and made us feel SO comfortable. Our wedding day was a little bit crazy because of traffic and last minute changes but Ian handled everything super well and made sure that we got all the photos we wanted - and managed to still get us to our cocktail hour =). When I first set off upon the long quest that is wedding planning I knew that picking a photographer would be one of our most important decisions. Having the opportunity to laugh at so many cheesy engagement and wedding photos on Facebook during the preceding years I was determined that under no circumstances would I ever hire someone who would pose us in a wheat field and have us staring into each others eyes... or something like that...

Along comes Ian, we were struck by the fun, exuberance, tenderness, and straight up real moments and feelings that we saw captured through his lens. We met over coffee at Ultimo, got to know each other a little, and hit it off really quick. He seems, in a nutshell, like a charming, laid back dude with great taste that works really damn hard- what more could you want? He sent a contract which we signed and returned promptly. (Also of note is that he is part of a wedding services collective worth checking out called "Rabbit Rabbit Crew" which is a curated group of small businesses for every aspect of your perfectly styled wedding)

On our big day, Ian showed up right on time to the loft where my girls and I were getting ready as per a timeline/shot list that he had us send to him before the day so that everything would run smoothly. He was completely at ease moving around the space, shooting stealthily and casually chatting, but not at all being intrusive. As we moved on to the church and then the reception site he was right there capturing everything and even stopped off with us at a coffeeshop to shoot some awesome photos of us two in our natural habitat.

Ian is an amazing photographer- no ifs, ands or buts. From the moment we met him we knew that he was right for us! He didn't mind meeting with both sets of our parents, and we found ourselves making jokes with him and having fun immediately. On the day of our wedding, everything just felt like it fell into place. Ian captured every shot we could have wanted and more. It was like we'd known him forever. He even made fast friends with my father, who hates getting his photo taken.

Do yourself a favor and book Ian, we're still blown away every time we look at our photos!

What can I say other than WOW? Ian Shiver, Viva Love Photography, was able to provide us with an exceptional experience that exceeded all our expectations. First, Ian somehow managed to be completely unobtrusive in a very small space, while still managing to capture up-close, personal images. Ian truly has an magnificent gift for visualizing people and objects in space. Next, Ian was personable and friendly and kept up with our vision throughout the ceremony and celebration that followed. Finally, Ian was quick and responsive in the finalization of our images. Our images are crystal clear and more beautiful than I could have ever managed! Ian is an incredible person and photographer. He shot our engagement photos and wedding photos here in Oakland, CA and was well worth every penny we spent and then some.

He took great care of us, helped shield us a bit from some of the stress of the day, and really helped us appreciate and enjoy the day. I strongly insist you get in touch, you really won't be disappointed.

I couldn't be happier with our photos and with Viva Love as our Photographers, they really helped make our wedding so great! The photographer that we wanted was booked but referred Viva Love, and we're so glad he did! Ian was fun to hang out with and his other shooter (sorry, forget her name!) was so sweet. They had lots of interesting ideas, and the photos were absolutely gorgeous, even better than we had imagined. He delivered the photos really quickly too!

We found Ian early on in our wedding planning journey and were so excited to work with him based on his amazing portfolio. Since we aren’t big planners we appreciated that Ian was willing to let our photo session develop organically on the day of the wedding. The photos turned out absolutely incredible despite the fact that my husband and I were so nervous about being awkward in front of the camera! The second and third shooters that he brought were also wonderful. We have yet to order our photos because it seems impossible to pick favorites since the entire collection is amazing. Since Ian and his team are so busy it did take a while for us to get our photos back but it was well worth the wait and we’re so happy with our pictures.

Going through Viva Love was the easiest part of planning my wedding! After having a couple of meetings with different photographers, we knew Viva Love was the right choice. The end result was simply phenomenal! From start to finish, he and his partner made sure that everyone looked great, and i’m happy to say we had fun doing it. Viva Love did an excellent job throughout, and I honestly cannot recommend them more...so much that i almost wish i could get married again!

Hiring Viva Love to photograph our wedding was such a great decision. Throughout the entire process, Ian was professional and responsive. Plus, the man's a fellow Buffy fan! We love, love our engagement and wedding photos! Ian was so easy and flexible to work with. He has a way of brilliantly capturing all the little details and emotions throughout the day, which made the photos so special. He came into each location and assed where the best pictures could be taken and is alway there ready to capture the spontaneous moments as well! I would definitely recommend Viva Love!

Viva Love provided a full day of friendly, engaging service for our wedding. This included portraits, first look, wedding ceremony, and after party. It spanned a much longer time period than an average wedding, and Ian worked with us to make sure we covered every shot and idea we had.
Ian's turn around time was phenomenal. We had our edited photos on shutterfly with a few weeks and were very happy with how they turned out. Ian is great at creating a story, and the shutterfly collection reflected that. Thank you, Ian and Viva Love, for wonderful service and capturing all of memories exactly how we wanted them.
