Great music, personable, and professional
Viva La Strings provided our wedding with great music that fit the ambiance of our wedding. Pendra was great to work with and extremely prompt with responses. With a busy schedule they were flexible and able to communicate over video chat. They had an extensive list of music to choose from. The day of the ceremony Viva La Strings was timely and easy to work with. All of our guests praised how great the music was for the event.

Fairytale Wedding

Elegant wedding performance
We are so happy that we booked Viva La Strings Nashville for our ceremony and cocktail hour at our wedding. They were professional, friendly and extremely talented. The entire planning process, including booking, song selections, and finalizing details, was straightforward and easy to navigate. Lila promptly answered any questions that arose and was always accessible if anything came up. The quartet added the perfect amount of elegance and fun to our outdoor wedding, and we overheard several guests specifically praising their performance. We’d recommend Viva La Strings to anyone looking for incredible live music! -

Wedding Ceremony
We hired Viva la Strings string quartet for our wedding ceremony and could not have been any happier with the beautiful music they provided. It really made the ceremony beautiful. There was a wide variety of music to select from and they would have accommodated any special requests as well. We also had them play at the cocktail hour immediately following where we requested a different style of music. They did an excellent job with both ad we got many compliments. This is well worth the money if you want something special for your event. I highly recommend. -

Great Music!
Viva la Strings was excellent to work with and played wonderful music. The venue had a little bit of an unusual set up and the musician team worked seamlessly to rearrange between cocktail and dinner hours.

Amazing performance!
We received so many complements from our wedding guests. They were professional, friendly and worth every penny. I would recommend them to anyone having a special event. One of my guests stated it was the chef’s kiss to the evening and I would agree. Viva La Strings booking process was easy and Renee was so helpful. Overall, it was a beautiful experience. -

Amazing violinist for wedding!
They were very professional played beautifully through our ceremony and cocktail hour! We got to choose all the songs that were played and they did a great job. Violins were the perfect touch to bring that extra detail and sentiment to our ceremony. There wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd! The price was very reasonable and would recommend to anyone! -

Quartet for Wedding
The groom wanted an Arabic love song the quarter was unfamiliar with. They arranged to work with an Arabic company to learn the song and guests who recognized it were blown away. Having them play our ceremony truly elevated our event!

The most beautiful ceremony musicians

The Best of The Best!
As a 30+ year music educator and director (and a musician myself) admittedly my expectations are high. Our son’s wedding was out-of-state (we live in Chicago and the wedding was in Dayton Ohio), so I did some research to see if we could find local musicians to play at the wedding mass and reception cocktail hour. Viva La Strings exceeded every expectation. Pendra was so easy to work with, efficient, organized, and communicative. I knew after our first phone call that we were in excellent hands. We hired a string quartet and a trumpet player and all were incredible, top-notch musicians. My only regret was that I was too crazed to really enjoy the music, but we know our guests and family members were very impressed. The professionalism was beyond expectations. Look no further than Viva La Strings for your entertainment needs! -

Summer Solstice Wedding

Beautiful Music/Outstanding Musicians
The music played by Viva La Strings at my son's wedding was absolutely beautiful! Pendra kept us on track and organized with the planning part of it and the cantor and 5 musicians kept everything on time and running smoothly throughout the entire mass. It sounded so beautiful! Christmas party

Perfect performance!

Great Wedding Music
Steven and Caleb were fantastic playing cello and violin to accompany our outdoor wedding ceremony. The songs we selected together for the processional, recessional, and postlude were played perfectly to match the pace of the wedding parties walking down the aisle, the conclusion of the ceremony, and to support pictures. Pendra came in and saved the day for us by arranging for Steven and Caleb 1.5 weeks before our ceremony, as a family member scheduled to play had a last minute time conflict. We would recommend Viva La Strings to anyone looking strings for a wedding! -

We hired Viva la Strings to play for our wedding and they did an amazing job. Not only were they timely in their responses and extremely organized with planning out the music for the ceremony, but they did such a wonderful job. We hired a violinist and a cello, and they both played beautifully. Prices were reasonable and I would 100% consider suggesting them to any other brides in the future. Our experience with this company was wonderful and they were very kind. -

Amazing music!
We had Viva La Strings play at our cocktail hour before the reception at our wedding. They played both Bollywood music and covers of some of our favorite songs. We could not have loved them more - the music was so elegant and a perfect prelude for the evening. Would recommend highly! They were so professional and accommodating. -

I absolutely loved my experience with Viva La Strings. We hired a trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Everything was perfect, they were on-time professional, and played amazing music. They also allowed us to pick one song for the trio to learn, and we chose "Thank You For Being A Friend" for our bridal party to walk down the aisle to. It was so fun to get to pick one special song, and I am grateful for them allowing us to customize our experience. Working with this team was just awesome. Highly recommend! -

Viva la amazing
Viva La Strings was amazing. I knew from the first time talking to Pendra, that she would be taking great care of us. She was extremely helpful in providing us with options and quotes based on the number of guests and time frame that we needed their services for. In addition to this, she provided us with different genre music lists. We didn't want our music to be traditional, so we opted for a mixture of pop songs and classic songs. We sent her a few songs that we were certain on, and she helped us to arrange them in the appropriate order for the timeline of the ceremony. Without her help, I would have had no clue on how to arrange the music! All in all, would highly recommend. Having strings at our wedding ceremony set us apart from other weddings I have attended, making it special for us! -

Professional group providing lovely music
This was the third wedding that we hired Viva La Strings to provide ceremony music as well as cocktail music . Their excellent professionalism and quality sound was the same each time. Ceremony Music
Viva La Strings did a fantastic job at our wedding ceremony! We did a string trio (2 violins and 1 cello). It was so beautiful and really set the mood for our wedding. Our guests absolutely loved Viva la Strings! They said having the live music was the cherry on top for our wedding and that it really stood out as a truly lovely detail. Guests loved recognizing different songs throughout the night as well and said the music was gorgeous and exceptionally well played. My experience booking and coordinating with Viva la Strings was flawless as well - Pendra was polite, very responsiveness, extremely professional, and overall easy to work with. My only regret was that I couldn’t have listened to them more as I was getting swept away to take photos most of the time they were playing. Amazing Addition to our Wedding and Reception!
My husband and I had a Covid wedding in May 2020, and even with a last minute venue change and all the uncertainty of the pandemic, Viva La Strings was so supportive and easy to work with! They worked with our new plan and were so professional! The music was exactly what I asked for and added so much class and elegance to our wedding day. Fast forward a year, we decided to have the reception that we weren't able to have the first time around. Even with late notice, Viva La Strings pulled a quartet together that was absolutely perfect for our mostly outdoor event. In my Aunt's words, we all "felt like we were living in a Jane Austen dream"! Pendra was fantastic to work with and always responded promptly and clearly. I would recommend Viva La Strings to anyone for their wedding! -

I am so happy I chose Viva La Strings for my backyard wedding. Pendra was quick to respond, flexible, and made the booking and scheduling process very easy.
The quartet played for both the ceremony and cocktail hour, and they sounded beautiful. Their repertoire is huge too- they played a Michael Jackson medley...just to give you an idea of what they're capable of!

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my now husband and I made the unfortunate decision to cancel our wedding on April 3rd, 2020. Viva La String's was booked as our ceremony music vendor and was so wonderful to work with even though we never got to experience their day of services. They were super helpful planning out our ceremony music and completely understanding when we told them we were canceling. My Personal "Vitamin String Quartet" For The Day
Every time I hear Coldplay’s “The Scientist,” I am reminded of the beautiful music that Viva La Strings provided at my ceremony and cocktail hour last year in Cincinnati. It brings tears to my eyes, remembering how they learned to play that song for my husband, Tommy - the Scientist who I get to spend the rest of my life with. I am so grateful to this wonderful group for working with me and following my selected set list to the T. From a grateful bride - Sarah.

Viva la Strings provides a great service
The quality of the music was fantastic. The violinist coordinated seemlessly with our church and our ceremony was lovely.
The pianist did a wonderful job providing background music st the reception. -

Beautiful Music
I fell in love with Viva la Strings when my sister hired them for her wedding a couple years ago. They did an amazing job at her wedding and they were just as fantastic at mine. My husband and I loved that they had so many contemporary songs we could choose from in addition to the traditional wedding songs. They also learned how to play the theme from Jurassic park for our recessional (we had a dinosaur themed reception)! As long as the song you request they learn is fairly simple and the sheet music for it is easy to find, they will learn one song at no added cost. Overall, we were very happy we choose Viva la Strings! -

Simply Beautiful!!
Viva la Strings was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding in November. I had a specific song in mind that I wanted to walk down the aisle to and they went the extra mile to have the song arranged for us! The string quartet added an extra special touch to our wedding and many of our guests told us how much they loved the music for the ceremony. While I waited in the balcony to walk down the aisle I started to tear up the second I heard our arranged song start. Thank you so much for making our day so wonderful!! -

Musicians/vocalists for a wedding
The musicians/vocalists from Viva la Strings, Drew Howe, Michele Goodpaster and Julia Bonifield were an absolute joy to have at my daughter's wedding. They were very professional, so very talented and genuinely very nice people. I received many great comments about them from our guests. Personally they were my favorite part of the wedding. I commend Pendra for her help with the organizing and song choices she provided. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for vocalists and musicians for a wedding or special event. They are the absolute best!! -

Viva la Strings was amazing. Their quartet played during my wedding reception, about 4 hours of music. We received so many complements on the music - it was fun, exciting, intimate, a great addition to the reception! They have such a neat repertoire of modern music which really added a fun and fresh feel to the reception. So glad we chose to use Viva la Strings! -

As a wedding planner, I value true professionalism and quality service. That is exactly what you will get working with Viva La Strings. They are truly talented and so easy to work with. Despite an unusually hot day at our clients outdoor wedding, they were very pleasant and played beautifully in extreme hot conditions. They were right on time with the multiple song changes during the procession and ceremony. I highly recommend them to my own clients and look forward to working with them in the future! -

From the first email to the day of the wedding every member was professional, extremely helpful and punctual. They were very helpful with music selection - suggestions were spot on! Even learned a new piece of music that gave us a very special moment! The musicians were at the church when expected and were set up and playing before we even noticed. So many of our guests made positive comments about the group. I would hire Viva La String again in a heartbeat! -

My husband and I worked with Jake and the Nashville quartet for our wedding in May. The quartet played all of our ceremony music and throughout our cocktail hour. Jake was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and always answered our questions promptly. Our guests are still reaching out to us, several weeks later, and commenting on how beautiful the music was. We could not be happier with our experience and highly recommend Viva La Strings Nashville!!! -

We had Viva la Strings perform for our wedding ceremony and they did such an incredible job. Super easy to communicate with and they help guide you through a good music timeline to get the desired ceremony style you're trying to achieve! All the members were dressed professionally and smiled throughout! I would highly recommend people to use them for their beautiful music, it really adds a special touch to your big day! -

Loved working with Viva la Strings. Of course they play beautifully but as a wedding planner they worked wonderfully prior to the wedding covering all details. They arrived early, asked all the right questions, worked in difficult weather and improvised when we need time between wedding party and bride going down the aisle. That's professionalism.

Pendra and her talented team of musicians were the perfect compliment for my daughter's wedding. They were able to perform both traditional and commercial music. It was always my dream to have strings at my wedding and Viva La Strings made that dream come true!! Their prices were more than reasonable, they were extremely responsive over email, and the music was just beautiful. Like a dream! I’ve received so many compliments on how beautiful the music at my wedding was.
In addition, they were incredibly open to song requests and created their own arrangement (for an extremely reasonable price) when there wasn’t one suitable for purchase.
There was one small mix-up regarding the piano players schedule for the reception, but Viva la Strings reached out to us immediately after to remedy the mistake and offer us a partial refund.
I highly recommend Viva La Strings with absolutely no reservations. They were the easier vendor I worked with for my wedding and they made it a dream come true. -

Viva la Strings played as a string trio for my October wedding. Pendra was wonderful to work with in building our selections. My ceremony in the forest chapel was definitely made more special by their talents. I'm still getting compliments by friends of how lovely it was to have live music. -
