I heard about Visual Lyrics through a friend who used them for his wedding, and I am so glad!!! First off, they are a small / family business, so I loved that. We first met with them at their studio, and from there everything was easy! They created a custom proposal for us to review. About a month out from the wedding, I wanted to add some extra floral pieces, and they were very flexible with that! Trisha set up a zoom to discuss the changes, which helped a ton. On the wedding day, I could not believe my eyes when the florals arrived, they were absolutely gorgeous. They arrived on time and set up quickly, then returned at the end of the night (in a flash flood warning!) to pick up rental items. One of the best parts was that they made all of my floral dreams come true UNDER my budget! Visual Lyrics created the most beautiful floral pieces and bouquets I could have ever asked for. We got tons of compliments all night long. I highly recommend working with them to create a magical wedding day!!! -

My husband and I absolutely loved this florist for our wedding. They not only were so reasonably priced, but they helped us find a gorgeous selection of blue and white flowers that would not break the bank. They were so creative and helped make our wedding gorgeous. I especially loved the round top arch--I didn't get to see it until I walked up the aisle to it, and it was breathtaking! They also had a gorgeous loveseat that we were able to rent for our sweetheart table at a great price, which went perfectly with it. Trina was so sweet, helpful, creative and accommodating. We could not have asked for a better florist! Thank you, Trina and Visual Lyrics, for helping make our wedding so beautiful! -

Visual lyrics went above and beyond to make our vision come to life and on a budget! We received so many compliments on our flowers. They are so detailed, from giant flower staircases to flower girl crowns, each piece was breathtaking. They were so friendly to work with and I absolutely loved our sit down meeting. Visual Lyrics really knows what they are doing, they have lots of ideas, and make the most beautiful arrangements. I would recommend them to anyone! -

I loved working w/ visual lyrics for my wedding. They designed some nice stuff for us, and sketched it up, it was very pretty too look at, and then seeing it go from sketch to reality was remarkable. You can't go wrong with visual lyrics. Very professional, very beautiful, and helped set the mood for our wedding. -

Our wedding would not have turned out as beautiful, as personal, and as cohesive in design without the talent of Donna Bennett and the amazing team at Visual Lyrics. This team had a hand in almost every aspect of our wedding from the stationary, to the florals, to the rentals, to rehearsal brunch, to the signage. Because of their involvement in most all aspects, the look and feel and aesthetic of our wedding was so cohesive and unique. Donna made the entire experience a personal one by hand drawing all of our floral designs, helping us come up with ideas to bring the floral elements into new and creative designs, and by opening up her floral studio to us and always making sure we left there with a small bunch of fresh flowers to take home. The team at Visual Lyrics went above and beyond in every way to bring our wedding vision to life and make it unique to our special day. I would recommend Visual Lyrics for floral artistry, signage, custom wood pieces, and vintage furniture rentals for any event. Visual Lyrics is a family owned and family run company who prides themselves on high quality, personalized, and unique work. I promise that you if you choose Visual Lyrics for your wedding florist, you will not be disappointed. -

Madison Sent on 09/10/2018There are some reviews that mention a lack of responsiveness, before hiring Visual Lyrics and I asked them about this - Tuesdays are the days they respond to emails so that's when I knew I could expect to hear back. I loved working with them, they made my vision come to life and made my venue even more spectacular. They are so talented and unique! All of the photos attached are from phones (we're waiting on our photographer's pictures), but it was BEAUTIFUL.

Adele Sent on 06/23/2009The flowers were beautiful, but not exactly what I thought they would be. My 'white' boquet was nearly green (it was far too fresh) and the ceremony decor was pretty bublacking in substance. My bridesmaids boquets were beyond gorgeous and so were the groomsmens. Also, we had to re-clarify things multiple times. My grooms flower was supposed to be white and they brought red and purple. However they fixed it on the spot beautifully and they delivered timely. -

As I sit down to write this review, I'm overwhelmed with disappointment and frustration at the complete and utter failure of Trisha at Visual Lyrics to deliver on the most basic expectations for my wedding florals. If I could give zero stars, I would do so without hesitation.
To put it bluntly, the flowers provided by Trisha were an absolute disaster. I had meticulously chosen specific flowers, colors, and styles to create a warm, romantic ambiance for my fall wedding. What I received instead resembled a haphazard spring bouquet gone wrong. Tulips, in all their springtime glory, dominated arrangements that should have been bursting with rich autumn hues.
Not only were the colors completely wrong, but the style and shape of the arrangements were a far cry from what I had envisioned. My bridal bouquet, which was supposed to be a breathtaking crescent shape cascading with seasonal blooms, arrived as a generic, uninspired hand-tied bundle of disappointment. The lack of attention to detail was appalling. I had to go to HEB to buy flowers and re-make my bouquet the morning of the wedding while getting my hair and make up done... so I lost expensive time with the photographer where instead of pre-wedding photos, she helped me completely re-work my bouquet. It was a DISASTER.
But the disaster didn't stop there. The centerpieces for the tables were so glaringly out of place, so completely contrary to the aesthetic I had painstakingly planned for, that they couldn't even be used. It was as if Trisha at Visual Lyrics had completely disregarded the vision I had shared with them.
What's worse is that despite multiple attempts to reach out to Trisha at Visual Lyrics to address the issue, they have remained silent. My calls, emails, and texts have gone unanswered, leaving me feeling abandoned and betrayed.
To any future brides considering Trisha at Visual Lyrics, I implore you to look elsewhere. Do not make the same mistake I did. Trust is a fundamental aspect of any business transaction, especially when it comes to something as important as your wedding day. Trisha at Visual Lyrics has proven themselves to be unprofessional, unreliable, and utterly incompetent. Save yourself the heartache and find a florist who will actually deliver on their promises.
The first photo here is the inspiration photo provided, the following are what was received. The bouquet being held up is the bridal bouquet I received, the photo of me in my dress with my ringbearer is the bouquet we re-made.
Good luck out there brides... we get one wedding day, and no re-do's. I hope no other bride has to go through the emotional stress I had to on my wedding day. -
