Brian and the Visa Versa team for did an amazing job with our wedding on 8/3! Our families are not the biggest dancers but almost everyone got out on the floor at some point and had an amazing time! Brian kept us organized with the timeline of events and worked in our song requests perfectly with the best party songs. Everyone was commenting on the music saying their favorite songs were played. We had the best day thanks to Brian and the rest of the Lodge staff!

Brunch Wedding
CJ from Visa Versa was flexible, professional, and helped create the perfect vibe for our wedding day. We chose the brunch package at The Lodge. We had a vision for a very light, fun, summery brunch wedding and were not sure if the reception would have the same party vibe that The Lodge is usually known for. We had a live guitarist for the ceremony so Visa Versa was responsible for helping him set up. We got CJ in contact with the guitarist and knew we didn't need to worry about anything after that. We wanted string Bridgerton-inspired music for the brunch service. I think CJ was a little doubtful of our choice, but he delivered perfectly and the brunch was light, fun, classy just like we imagined. In our planning meeting we all agreed that we had no idea if people would be dancing, but to stay flexible. Once CJ saw that people were ready to get down on the dance floor (even though it was just the afternoon) he adapted perfectly and we had an amazing time!! He was the perfect MC and the whole day went so well.

Absolutely loved Cj being our dj. We basically gave him free range on music and let him do his thing. It couldn’t have been better! I got car sick from the party bus and he found good times to end the first dances songs early for me on the fly. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Best dj ever!
CJ from Visa Versa was the DJ for our wedding and we truly could not have found a better fit! We met with CJ a few weeks before the wedding to finalize all music selections and fine tune the schedule of the night to be sure it would run smoothly. This was the first vendor meeting we left feeling excited, rather than overwhelmed. Flash forward to our wedding, CJ exceeded our expectations!! He was an incredible MC who communicated with us, as well as our coordinators all night to remain on schedule. Due to storms in the area, the venue lost power but CJ was prepared for anything and quickly began to switch to his fully charged, wireless speakers to keep the night rolling. Our dance floor remained packed the entire night, which is what every bride and groom wants! All of our guests continue to comment on how much fun it was, and we truly believe CJ was a huge part of that! We highly recommend Visa Versa for your wedding!!

I cannot recommend Visa Versa enough for your wedding MC/DJ services! Everyone was super friendly, professional, and communicative throughout the whole process. Not to mention they are very reasonably priced in my opinion!
We had heard awesome things about CJ and let me tell you, he did not disappoint!! He met with us ahead of time to discuss all our requests and plans, and he really listened to us and brought such a fun energy. We were so happy with CJ! We had an in person meeting with him a few months before the wedding to nail down some of the bigger details for the day and sent emails between then and the big day with multiple requests and adjustments. He met every one of our requests, even some the day of the wedding and our night went perfectly! Amazing Wedding DJ
We used Visa Versa Entertainment through our venue, The Lodge in Skaneateles. My now husband and I were so impressed by the company from start to finish of our experience. We loved that they held a "getting to know you" meeting so that we could go over what to expect from them and their typical services. It was a great way to show us that they would provide the guest experience we wanted and that they would tailor things to us. Every interaction we had with staff was so friendly and we were never waiting for responses. For our wedding we worked with CJ, and he was amazing! In our planning meeting right before the wedding, he went over any and every small detail with us, and spent the time talking about what we wanted and just us as a couple. It felt like grabbing a drink with a friend, which was so nice. On the wedding day, everything went perfectly! We heard all the songs we wanted to hear, and some we hadn't even realized would really set the tone we wanted. CJ kept the party going during the reception and our guests danced for 3 full hours. We literally never had an empty dance floor. We received so many compliments on the lighting, and music. A lot of our guests still are saying it's the most fun they've ever had at a wedding! I would 100% recommend Visa Versa Entertainment!

I cannot recommend CJ the DJ enough for your wedding/any event! He is extremely skilled at what he does and goes above and beyond. A few weeks before the wedding we met with him and went over what we were looking for - he was well prepared and took notes about how the night would go. On the night of - he absolutely CRUSHED it. We had a full dance floor all night and he had impeccable timing with his song choices. Nearly every single guest could not stop talking about how good our DJ was. We had CJ at our wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ from start to finish. In the initial meeting, CJ got to know us and our music preference, and he was able to get a sense of our music preferences and wishes for the wedding. We provided a list of songs that we hoped to hear on our wedding night, and CJ used this to provide the best music possible for the evening. Many of the songs on our list got played throughout the night, and other songs that weren’t on the list, we were absolutely thrilled to hear because CJ knew our music preference from the list and played songs that fit in with our vibe. We could have not been any happier, thank you again CJ!!!

Truly the GOAT. Dance Until The Venue Kicks You Out
We attended a wedding using one of the VVEP DJs and it was so noticeably better than any others we experience, we know we had to book them. Fast forward to me writing this review after the wedding and it was worth every penny. We had an outdoor ceremony with 200+ and they were able to get great sound to all our guests (lapel mic on the groom, officiant, and a stand for readings.) For the reception, everything was planned very smooth. Jeff was adamant about getting everyone's names correct, including a number of Polish last names. We had a pre-planning meeting that allowed for everything to be planned and ready to go.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: the music was out of this world. we gave Jeff a few must play songs but ultimately wanted him to do what he's a pro at. Songs were mixed, cut, and given more beats to make the dancing both energetic and flowing. If you want to throw a real party, that your guests will remember, and be dancing until the venue shuts you down, book these guys.

My husband and I got so lucky because Visa Versa was automatically suggested to us through our wedding vendor and simply put they were amazing! They help with detailed planning ahead of time and we really appreciated their input when it came to planning the flow of the events, especially during the beginning of the reception. CJ took into account all of our song requests and do not play songs and even helped execute a polish tradition song that my mom wanted which included piecing together multiple songs from a non-traditional source. They are a down-to-earth, non-cheesy, fun, professional service and we would 1,000% recommend them to other couples. Your DJ vendor is very important and can make or break the "fun" factor and don't underestimate the importance of having someone who can organize and run the flow of the evening/announcements. You can have the best crowd ever but if the music is subpar, the party won't reach its full potential, we've been to weddings where this has happened. CJ was fun, kept the party going, knows how to read the crowd and did an amazing job! Many guests complimented how much they liked the music. Also, what CJ did with the lights was just out of this world. So many nice touches and the room looked beautiful.

Great Communication and Professionalism
Visa Versa was partnered with our wedding venue to provide DJ and lighting services, which was great because we wanted something turnkey without any hassle. CJ Meech was our DJ, and he made it super easy on us. We didn't have many strong preferences--we tried to communicate a particular vibe to CJ, and he delivered. The ceremony and reception went off flawlessly (as far as we could tell), and CJ was a huge piece of its having gone so well.

CJ & the entire company were absolutely INCREDIBLE! Meetings were helpful, response time was quick, and above all the music at our wedding was UNBELIEVABLE! Extremely happy with our decision to book visa versa. They were very easy to get a hold of and quick to respond to any emails. They listened to exactly what we wanted for our wedding and were flexible in accommodating our needs and what we were looking for. Our wedding was a blast and everything at the reception went smoothly thanks to them. Every guest loved the music that was played and the dance floor was packed the entire time. Highly recommend.

Brian hosted our day party!
Brian at Visa Versa took on our COVID impacted reception. We decided to go with a brunch reception, but were unsure what the scene would look like for a daytime party. Brian kept the hits coming and the dance floor was NEVER empty between 11am-3pm.

CJ the DJ Strikes Again
Visa Versa entertainment was our vendor at the Lodge at Welch Allyn. Brian hosted an awesome welcome session where he got to know us virtually through zoom.
CJ was our assigned DJ and the guests are still raving about the party. I’ve always loved music and he let me “guest DJ” for Las Vegas Kygo set he live mixed.

Visa Versa is amazing! They were great to work with from the start. CJ was so great and all of our guests loved his music. He had the dance floor full the entire night! When we had questions about our first dance song he was able to slow down the beat of the song to make it more of a slow dance. We loved it!

Book visa versa!
Brian with Visa Versa was AWESOME!!! As someone who never leaves the dance floor at a wedding, I know how important it is to have the right DJ. We met with Brian and Michelle a couple weeks before our wedding and knew we were in good hands. They took the time to learn how to pronounce names for each member of the wedding party and write down which kinds of music we liked.
On our wedding day, Brian absolutely killed it. The dance floor was packed the whole night because he played the right songs for the right amount of time each. He read the dance floor with an intuition acquired from serious talent and years of experience. Our guests could not stop talking about how good our DJ was. Brian is hands down the reason our wedding was so much fun!!!!

The dance party of our lives!
We couldn’t be happier with the audio and lighting services provided by CJ and the Visa Versa team. They allowed us to personalize every aspect of our wedding, ranging from the ceremony music to the dance party. CJ applied his unique twist to our requests to create the ultimate dance party. CJ the DJ made our wedding!
I cannot say enough good things about Visa Versa entertainment and our DJ, CJ. Visa Versa was one of the first vendors we booked, and therefore had our contract pending the longest while we navigated rescheduling due to COVID and they were not only understanding but helpful as well, through the entire process. They were incredibly responsive and I especially enjoyed how CJ was able to translate my rambling thoughts into exactly what I wanted. CJ was able to create the perfect playlist that kept our guests dancing up until the very last song. They also provided the up-lighting for our venue, which really pulled everything together. In short, I highly recommend Visa Versa to anyone who is looking for the perfect DJ.

Wow, where do I begin?! From the start DJ Brian and his wife were absolutely wonderful to work with!! He is super nice, easy going, and truly knows what he is doing! He really loves his job and it shows! From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception every little detail (lights, sound, music, the vibe in room) was beyond perfect!! He truly paid attention to myself, and my groom, and wanted it all to be what we dreamed of and more. The dance floor was packed all night long!! It has been about a month since the wedding and we are still getting compliments on the DJ! Take his suggestions, and listen to his opinions, because he wasn’t wrong with anything!! My husband and I can’t thank him enough for giving us one hell of a wedding!!!

Every single detail, from the initial meeting, the pre-event planning to the actual ceremony and reception was easy, professional and flawless! Our reception dance floor was PACKED ALL NIGHT and the music was awesome and exactly what we asked for. Our guests repeatedly commented that it was the best wedding they've ever been to and that the music was the best they've heard at a wedding reception. We totally agree. My niece got married around 6 years ago and I've always remembered the music at her reception. She told me it was Visa Versa. Most wedding receptions are forgettable with cookie cutter music and cookie cutter energy but Visa Versa was so memorable that night that I HAD to have them at OUR reception. Brian and Visa Versa Entertainment tailored our reception to our exact taste, made the entire evening about us and executed it with class and perfection. You won't find a nicer, easier to work with wedding vendor on this planet. Everything about our wedding day was perfect and it ended with nonstop energy dance party thanks to Visa Versa Entertainment!! CJ is the best!
When we originally met with Brian he sold us with a really great first impression and we were told we'd either get him or CJ. When we were assigned to CJ they immediately set us up a meeting with him to get to know him and go over details. Our meeting was lots of fun, we clicked well with him and he felt like a friend. The night of the wedding went flawlessly with CJ, through announcing everything and making sure everyone was on the dance floor. A month later we're STILL getting compliments on the fact that every single song he played was a hit with the crowd. We used their uplighting and it was the best uplighting we and our guests have ever seen at a wedding - he controlled the color and timing of the lights to make them strobe with the beat of songs. We would argue with anyone that CJ is the best DJ in upstate NY, and would recommend Visa Versa to anyone who asks.

Brian with Visa Versa definitely helped make our wedding dreams come true! After having to postpone a year and finally getting married on 6/25/21, Brian made everything so easy with planning. The dance floor was always packed, the playlist was absolute fire, the lighting features made the room so much more beautiful and it really felt like the wedding party we always dreamed of. Brian was great to work with! He met with us ahead of time to go over song selections and made everything a breeze. Out of all our worries on our wedding day the music being played wasn’t one of them. He played great music to keep the crowd interested and on the dance floor and he also played the songs we requested at our previous meeting at appropriate times to meet the mood in the room. You'll be dancing all night long.
We met with Brian and CJ while planning our November 2019 wedding at The Lodge Skaneateles. Brian is very knowledgable about what looks good and works at the Lodge, and he was also able to provide recommendations for other vendors to work with. CJ ended up being our MC/DJ for the actual event and he did a wonderful job. My family members were already dancing during cocktail hour/meal service. They work exclusively with the Lodge so the sound and the lighting are integrated in the building and it makes a huge difference in sound quality and customization of the lighting! We would recommend them to anyone.

Visa Versa was recommended to me from a friend and im SO GLAD I chose to hire them as a DJ for my wedding. Brian from the start said he will keep our dance floor packed all night and he did that for sure! He did our uplighting as well and it was coordinated with the music. The lighting made our dancefloor pictures look AWESOME. Lastly, Brian paid great attention to detail and always made sure we were ready before we were announced, had our first dances, cut the cake, etc. I would 100% recommend hiring Visa Versa!

CJ kept the party going for us! He was awesome that day and also when we met about a month beforehand to discuss some of the songs and details we wanted. VVEP is great about responding to emails in a timely manner.
I wish we had reached out earlier to ask about a projector/screen for a couple of slideshows because theirs was unfortunately already booked by the time we asked (close to the wedding), so make sure you ask early if you’d like to have theirs available!

My husband and I had an incredible time at our wedding reception. The dance floor was full the entire night, and Brian was very willing to play specific music requests we asked for. Email responses were always very timely, and the Visa Versa staff remained flexible with our crazy schedules throughout the wedding planning process. Andrew and I trusted Brian to run things very smoothly as the master of ceremonies, and he did just that: he dressed up for the occasion, was organized in the timing of events, and kept the party moving all night! I did ask on one occasion for the volume to be turned down a bit, but that was our personal preference and Brian quickly accommodated the request.

Brian was fantastic to work with. When my wife first approached me with the cost of the DJ, I thought it was sort of pricey. My wife then informed me that it was a fair price because $800 of the cost was for uplighting, to which I replied "what the hell is uplighting?" My guests loved the song choices and the lighting provided by Vice Versa. I think he was worth every penny. After the first time I met Brian, I knew he was the right guy for the job. Brian was great at reading the crowd and transitioning into the next song. Brian was very accommodating and enjoyable. I would highly recommend him for any couples big day.

If you're looking for an entertainment company in the Central New York area, Visa Versa is incredible. When we first sat down to plan our big day, Brian came across as personable, friendly, extremely knowlegable, and helpful. In the months leading up to the wedding day itself, Brain was excellent with communication, paid close attention to details, and happily accommodated requests. He prides himself on providing a memorable show without stealing the spotlight from the bride and groom. He exceeds his stellar reputation. For our wedding, everyone had a blast on the dance floor. We received so many compliments about the great vibe and atmosphere Brian helped create. A lot of people told us after that the DJ was great!! Our wedding package included music, uplighting, and a photobooth (an absolute hit with kids and adults alike). We cannot thank Brian and the whole Visa Versa team enough. Brian, with Visa-Versa, was awesome!! My now husband and I were planning our wedding to be at the Grand Ballroom Marriott Downtown. From our first phone call with Brian, we knew he was the one.. He was really friendly and easy to talk to. We had many concerns about choosing the right DJ because the DJ runs the entire party and either makes or breaks it.
Brian asked us many questions to get an idea of what kind of music we wanted and just to get to know us in general. We met up with him and felt even better because of how organized he was and how thorough he was with his questions.
Being in digital marketing I SOOO appreciated the Visa Versa website. They have a client portal within it where we could login and add EVERYTHING - including ‘must play’ songs, ‘do not play’ songs, slow songs…. Being the most OCD bride, I was so happy I found Brian, he’s done so many weddings AND so many weddings in the Grand Ballroom at the Marriott Downtown, we felt that much better about him. He knew about everything including which lighting we should have as well. The uplighting was KEY. The Grand Ballroom is so huge without the uplighting all the beautiful details get lost in the dark as the sun goes down. Brian knew where to put every light and I got to choose which lighting, which colors and even where I wanted them. It was amazing because he even has videos on his website of how different each light looks in the ballroom as the sun goes down.
The most organized and professional DJ ever. From the start of the reception, Brian started the party and did an amazing job keeping our rowdy crowd on track - which I give him so much credit for because we had an insane crowd. All of my guests said that our wedding was one of the best they’ve ever been to, and I give so much of that credit to Brian. All of the music he picked was the best. CJ just did our wedding this past weekend. He was amazing! The whole company handles themselves professionally and really knows what they are doing. Everyone at our wedding had an absolute blast dancing! CJ even made a special playlist especially for our wedding. I really can't say enough. It was hard to get my groom off the dance floor. We had such a great experience with Brian and the Visa Versa team. We got the lighting package and the Photo Booth. To me, the two most important things at a wedding are the food, drinks and music! Our dance floor was packed the entire wedding. We met with Brian a few days before and went over everything and he is such a chill, personable guy. The day of the wedding, everything went great and we got so many compliments on the music. The lighting also made our pictures and video amazing! I would recommend Visa Versa to everyone!

Michelle & Tim were outstanding !! From our first meeting, we were confident they knew how to get a party started and keep it going! The mix of music was perfect, our guests danced the night away and their idea of playing the SU fight song when Otto arrived was SPOT ON! People are still raving over the entertainment! We used Visa Versa Entertainment for lighting and the Old Fashioned photo booth and we are so happy that we did! There are so many cool lighting options available, and Brian was great to work with. He spent a lot of time with us (at the Blue Tusk which is the perfect meeting spot) to go over all the options and make sure that we got exactly what we wanted. The uplighting and other effects looked awesome and they made our pictures look unbelievable. The photo booth was also great - the picture quality is fantastic and we received an access code so that we can see all of the pictures that were taken at our wedding online. I definitely recommend Visa Versa Entertainment!!

We can't say enough about Visa Versa and their incredible talent. The music at our wedding was perfect and had the exact vibe we were hoping for, from dinner to the very last song. Brian is so friendly and easy to work with and truly listened to our likes and dislikes so that the soundtrack of the evening felt personal and like the perfect representation of us. They felt out the crowd and made sure that everyone kept dancing. CJ made us feel like we were at a club in Vegas! Most of all, you MUST get their top lighting package, especially if your reception is at the Lodge at Welch Allyn. It was such a necessary addition and added the perfect ambiance. The entire staff is amazing and they ensure that they evening is everything you've imagined and more. Our friends never left the dance floor and didn't want the party to end!

We had Brian as our DJ at our wedding, and he was everything we could have asked for in a DJ. He did the sound and music for the entire day, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I got so many compliments from my guests on how great the sound was, how awesome the music was and how great of a DJ he was. We got married out in a field and with only 2 lapel microphones our 170 guests could still hear everything without issue.
He also knows what he's doing. He gave us great suggestions at our planning meeting to keep the flow of the reception going. He listened to what we wanted. And his lighting and music choices were on point! He is also the perfect amount of MC for your event. He's very organized and interjected himself when needed (i.e getting peoples attentions for speeches), but otherwise wasn't noticeable. Also at the end of the night our guests were having a blast dancing and he was super flexible about us adding on extra time!
Over all Visa Versa was one of our favorite vendors at our wedding. They really made our wedding a great event!

Brian was the DJ and lighting professional for our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. From the start of planning to the actual wedding day, he and his wife Michele were on top of everything and true professionals. They responded to all emails and questions promptly and thoroughly, and only suggested we have one face to face meeting, which was a huge relief with the craziness of planning. During that meeting, Brian spent about an hour with us, explaining their typical procedure at the wedding, actively listening to our wants and needs, and most importantly, making intelligent suggestions to make our wedding the best it could be. He offered advice and even suggested changing some of our choices without being pushy, and explained exactly why there might be a better option for certain things. On the wedding day itself, Brian showed up on time and had everything ready to go without any questions or badgering of the bride or groom, (unlike a lot of vendors who need to ask you a million questions the day of to figure out what to do.) the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch and the whole venue was able to hear our vows with no problem. For the rest of the evening, he kept us on schedule and kindly reminded us of when and how things needed to happen, such as the toasts and the wedding party announcement. And as for the actual music, he had almost every single guest on their feet and dancing ALL NIGHT, without any annoying hyping or talking. People I have never seen dance in their lives were on the floor for hours....I would never recommend another DJ over this company. They are simply perfection.

I cannot say enough about Brian of Visa Versa Entertainment!! I have actually worked as a freelance Videographer for Video Network Inc. in Syracuse for 5 years, so my vendor list came from those I have worked with. I actually booked Brian because as a Videographer, he KILLED ME with exhaustion because the dance party never ever ever would stop. THAT IS WHAT I NEEDED for my special day--a never ending party!!!!
Our pre-wedding meeting with Brian was so personalized and comfortable. All details that were discussed including very intricate details like a joke of playing "Ebony and Ivory" in place of our first dance, with a record reversal sound effect into the real song was executed perfectly. The venue, bar tenders, waitstaff and ESPECIALLY the guests could not say enough about Visa Versa Entertainment. They provided the DJ services for our ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception, and nothing was missed, forgotten, or overlooked. We cannot say enough about how FANTASTIC they were!!! Brian even had a secret planned with my Husband who surprised me with Otto the Orange of Syracuse University that flowed so perfectly, and the secret was never once given away to me!

We knew we wanted a DJ for our wedding, and also that we would have to bring in lighting equipment to properly illuminate the location.
When we met with Brian Simons from Visa Versa, he recommended how to best uplight the room, windows, and pillars to make the room look elegant. Also, we wanted a club like feel for dancing later in the evening. We knew we had high expectations. We wanted two different looks, a formal dining area, and a lounge/club like feel for the dance area, and we preferred to work with one vendor for both music and the lighting.
Brian and his team delivered! The upper-level dining portion of the (former Hotel Syracuse) Marriott Syracuse Downtown's Persian Terrace maintained its subtle lighting, while the dance floor area rocked out with pulsating lights timed to the beats of the music. The DJ did an amazing job mixing songs and the lights were spectacular. Brian also spoke as an emcee for us as well and is extremely professional. We are extremely happy with the team at Visa Versa and highly recommend them for your special occasions.

Brian was awesome for our wedding two weeks ago! He is friendly and easy to work with. We wanted to shorten our dances and merge the music into a surprise dance with my brother. The surprise went off without glitch. He had great suggestions for music and read the crowd great. The wedding was a hit! He also did us a big favor in video taping our ceremony for us since our grandparents couldn't make it, the video and sound was fabulous for just wanting a quick, easy video. I would give Visa Versa 10 stars if I could! Amazing, doesn't even begin to describe how my venue looked with all of the uplighting and pin spots Brian provided. Brian and his wife, Michelle, were so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the planning process. The final product far exceeded my vision. We also had Brian DJ our event and he kept the party going right until the very end. He was a great MC, not cheesy or corny at all like some DJs. We received so many compliments and many of our guests described our reception as "the best" and "most fun" they have ever attended. Everything about our wedding night was a fairytale and Brian definitely helped more than he will ever know ... he was working on installing new lights at the lodge and asked if we mind if he try some .... they were amazing snowflakes on the dance floor for our winter wonderland theme while we danced our first dance was magical ... the entire night there was not a moment there wasn't people on the dance floor and that was thanks to his amazing play list ... which we had no part in haha !! They helped make the wedding a fantastic party by keeping people on the dance floor the whole night, working with me on lighting, and providing one of the guest's highlights- the photo booth. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and you will not go wrong working with them. They customized everything for us, and were able to be flexible and meet, as we live out of town. We got married at the Lodge at Welch Allyn. If you are getting married there it is silly to go with anyone else. Honestly, even if you aren't getting married at The Lodge....it is still silly to go with anyone else. They were amazing!
