  Virginia played at my wedding ceremony and was incredible. The entry and exit music was lovely and she even found something to play under one of the readings, which made the poem sound even more beautiful.

  What can I say? Virginia was the first vendor I hired. I had to have a Harp! The day finally came and the clouds were building over the mountains, but the Harp was there. It never rained and the music was incredibly beautiful I heard so may compliments. Thank you Virginia! You rock!

  Virginia was a dream to work with! We met at her home about a year prior to my daughter's wedding to choose the music. Closer to the wedding we went to Bare Necessities, the cafe in Nellysford where she plays on Sundays. Virginia played our selections which brought me to tears. It was beautiful.   My experience with Virginia was just wonderful! She is very prompt in returning emails and answered all of my questions very thoroughly. She is very organized and on my son's wedding day, she and her colleague made the atmosphere .... magical. We had both the harp and violin. Virginia is so easy to work with. I would highly recommend Virginia.

  I found it very useful to sit with Virginia as she suggested and played songs she thought would suit our personalities and the type of wedding we were having. She has binders full of wonderful, beautiful songs that I loved listening to, many of which I hadn't heard before. Together, we selected a beautiful program of songs, that flowed together seamlessly. The wedding day was perfect, and every guest commented on how lovely the harp music was. Virginia even put my rambunctious little cousin to sleep, which helped everything go smoothly! I would definitely recommend Virginia to other couples, and would suggest that they give her a good listen beforehand, as she will be able to suggest songs that most people likely haven't heard on harp before.

  My daughter and I envisioned a special and unique musical accompaniment for her wedding ceremony and Virginia delivered with flying colors! It was very important that the instruments, the musical selections, and the delivery fit the bucolic setting of our country home in Virginia and she graciously addressed all of our requests. We worked with Virginia to determine a delightful assortment of music and added a flautist to accompany her harp with amazing results. It's been almost two months since the wedding and I can still hear their incredible music wafting throughout the house and pouring onto the front lawn where the ceremony was held and down the valley! Magnificent!

  Virginia played the harp for our ceremony and cocktail hour and It really was the most beautiful harp playing I have ever heard! It really made the ceremony and started the celebration off right. She did a beautiful mix of classics with more contemporary pieces that seemed to make everyone that much more nostalgic! We had the opportunity to see her home studio and beautiful collection of harps which was just amazing - she gave great suggestions for pieces during the ceremony when we didn't have anything specific in mind and was even willing to learn a special piece for us "A Thousand Years" because it meant so much to us!

  Virginia was absolutely wonderful! I played in an orchestra all through college, so I had a lot of opinions about the musical selections for my ceremony. I wanted a particular song for my bridal processional (the chorale from Jupiter) that Virginia had never played before. She found an arrangement and learned the selection specifically for my wedding! Also, Virginia was very helpful at the consultation in assisting me in narrowing down my other selections for the wedding. She has so many great ideas, and her expertise is unmatched.
  
  The harp music set the ideal romantic tone for the wedding ceremony. Not to mention the fact that Virginia's harp looked stunning in the chapel. It was almost as if it was another piece of the decor! I just recently received the video of my wedding ceremony and could not be happier with Virginia's performance. She was able to improvise to make sure that each selection went on for the appropriate amount of time (no awkward pauses or times where music is playing and no one has anything to do but stare at each other). A professional musician attended my wedding and commented to me on what a wonderful job she did. All and all, I could not be happier with having Virginia as my ceremony musician.

  We had Virginia provide the ceremony music for our small wedding (35 people) at the UVA Chapel in Charlottesville. She did a wonderful job. I had given her a detailed list of the songs I wanted to hear and she managed to play almost all of them. I got so many compliments on the ceremony music from all of the guests. She is a true professional and her harp is beautiful. We set up the gold harp on stage next to the preacher and it looks amazing in the ceremony pictures. Thank you Virginia!

  Virginia is one of the best people I know- but she is a wonderful harpist as well! She has a dazzling resume and real experience, her music is beautiful. She is a dedicated professional, and wonderful to work with; she did an amazing job of playing for my mother's memorial, I'm so glad we could have her music that day.

  I was very happy with the services that Virginia Schweninger on the harp and Pam Hill on the violin provided. It made for a wonderfully memorable ceremony and Virginia made the preparations a breeze by allowing for a phone appointment where she played her harp and we made the song selections. Being a 90s kid many of the selections I choose were Disney inspired but also added to the beauty of the ceremony. The violin was a specialty to help provide a wonderful sound and they complemented each other very well.
