We had lots of music at our ceremony but for our processional we wanted to make that unique. We chose to have strings played. It made a nice separation and our entrance special. Virginia James (Chris and Alicia) nailed it. My wife wanted a unique song which they learned just for her. It was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. Virginia James brought all their own equipment and were set up well before the ceremony. They were also one of our vendors who checked in several times leading up to the wedding. Leaving us with no questions and a quiet confidence of what we will get on the day. They are the sweetest pair and we couldn't be more grateful that we found them. Thank you Alicia and Chris for everything. -

We had the privilege of working with Alicia & Chris for our wedding ceremony, and we are so grateful with our decision to have them as part of our special day. They are incredibly kind, professional & talented. From the beginning we appreciated them taking the time to have a video call with us to discuss our vision. They were able to learn a special song my husband wanted to walk down the aisle too, as well as mix instrumental and vocals which added an element of fun! Alicia and Chris were absolutely incredible in providing the music for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They were responsive, friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We had a church wedding, and they went above and beyond by coordinating with the parish’s music coordinator well in advance, ensuring every detail of the ceremony music was exactly as we envisioned. I highly recommend Virginia James for any bride/grooms in the Rhode Island area! -

Wow!! Alicia and Chris made our wedding so magical with their incredible musical talents!! We would highly recommend them to anyone that wants that special addition to their event! We knew from the start of planning that we wanted live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. When we met Alicia and Chris, we knew they were the ones to deliver. Besides being incredibly kind and easy to talk to, their musical repertoire is sooooo comprehensive! We wanted a mixture of nerdy theme songs (like Lord of the rings), oldies like Neil Young, and newer hits as well. Alicia and Chris were able to perform all of them beautifully! Even two months after the wedding, we are still getting so many compliments regarding their music- it is definitely one of the highlights of the day! We highly recommend Alicia and Chris for anyone looking to add beautiful music, performed by kind hearted people who will make your event that much more special 😊 Thank you both so much for everything!! -

I cannot express enough how grateful we are for Alicia and Chris who played at our wedding ceremony at Greenville Vineyards. The combination of guitar and violin created the most enchanting atmosphere that perfectly complemented our outdoor setting.

Chris and Alicia were such a pleasure to work with. They are highly professional and organized. We zoomed numerous times to prepare for our wedding and the day of went seamlessly. They play beautifully together and performed our requested songs perfectly. We wanted mostly background music and a sophisticated and elegant luncheon. They made this happen! The music they played at the ceremony was extraordinary and made our magical ceremony ever more special with their talent. I highly recommend them! -

Virginia James Music made our wedding day truly unforgettable. Alicia and Chris were amazing to work with from start to finish. They had an impressive music selection, and their willingness to go the extra mile really stood out.
We asked them to learn a special song that wasn’t in their usual repertoire—it was a bit of a deep cut but meant the world to us. They learned it perfectly and played it so beautifully on the day.

Outstanding, highly recommend!
Virginia James Music played for our wedding a d reception. Classical, pop, jazz, and easy listening were a part of their wonderful list. They also learned several new songs to accommodate our wedding program. They are talented professionals and would provide the basis for any special event. We received many compliments from our guests. Well worth the investment, a quality group. -

Alicia and Chris were an absolute pleasure to work with! They are as professional as they are talented! Their song list is extensive, and they even learned to play a new song for our wedding. They also provided us with lapel mics for the groom/officiant during the ceremony, which was super helpful. I’ve been sent a few videos by guests, and I immediately tear up as I hear them play my bridal entrance song! We couldn’t have had a better experience! -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Alicia & Chris. They were professional, attentive, flexible, adaptable, friendly and kind. They made sure they understood the vision and formulated a plan to achieve it. My family and friends loved them and said how much they added to the night. Chis and Alicia are amazing!! We can not rave about them enough. We hired them to play at our outdoor wedding for the ceremony and cocktail hour. From the start they were completely professional, flexible, on the ball and we’re very resourceful with music. They were focused on making our day absolutely perfect for us, and that’s exactly what they did. All of our guest raved about how great the quality of their music was, how amazing their voices were, and wanted to know where we found them. In our opinion they are a class act and we will definitely be using them again! -

Chris and Alicia are a perfect Duo for your wedding day. We hired them for our church music and they blew the guests away. We had family asking where we found them - they were actually friends of my Mothers from years past! Exceptional work and professionalism. So very responsive and flexible with times, dates etc. Also was a super help as far as helping us choose our music. We are so glad we chose them to be a part of our day. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend.
