She did everything that I asked for and it was beautiful. They set up and take down. They do an amazing job. You won’t be disappointed. -

Carmen is great
Carmen was great and was able to get our wedding set up in time before the ceremony. Everything went smoothly and we didn’t feel as much pressured to make everything look nice thanks to her. Hired her from the pictures, center pieces and vases, floating candles, chair bows, arch (not the white flower wall), and the sweetheart table backdrop with candles and flowers. -

Decorations
Carmen did an amazing job! And did exactly what I wanted! The venue I had did a lot of the decorations but they couldn't do much with the ceiling or a backdrop which is what I wanted. I actually found Carmen last minute and she was super responsive and willing to come through for us two months before the wedding. She came by set everything up the day of and it looked amazing! I even had my own neon sign she hung up for me. Highly recommend her for any of your decorations needs!! -

Carmen couldn’t have provided better service. Her inventory is beautiful and the execution is flawless. She has great style if a bride needs some guidance but is also very supportive in enhancing your own vision. Communication is great/flexible and she will work with the venue for setup to relieve that stress from the bride. She also is fair with pricing and honest if something may not be worth the cost. I am in business and she is very good at conducting her business. -

Amazing service!
Carmen with VIP wedding and events was fantastic, I could have not asked for a better person to decorate for my wedding day! I would forever recommend VIP wedding and events! You will not be disappointed. I was stunned at how beautiful everything was set up, and looked. My eyes could not believe it. Even my guests were ALL amazed by the amazing decor and still are raving about it! She is very easy to talk to, very responsive, and cares so much about her clients ideas and thoughts and wants and needs! Once again, very thankful I went with VIP wedding and events for my wedding decor and will continue to have Carmen decorate for me whenever I have another event! -

My husband and I were so glad we found Carmen. We looked at different florists, Michael's, lots of online options... but all of them was way more than what we wanted to spend and it didn't look as elegant. Carmen was very helpful in meeting my budget but also executing and delivering beyond our expectations. She understood what I envisioned and suggested options and ideas. Her artwork was amazing. My centerpieces looked elegant and classy and more real than real flowers. I highly recommend Carmen and her work. -

Carmen was such a pleasure to work with for our Sept 1, 2018 wedding!
My husband and I decided to have our wedding at a local men's club, but wanted to be creative and make it a five star look at a one star location. Carmen helped us achieve just that! *See Pictures*
We hired her for: Head table back drop, front material of head table, ceiling draping, and rental of chair covers. We did our own table decor and linens, but I believe she offers those as well! -

Extremely stressful
1. Rentals were dirty: had stains, visibly were old and with scratches, including our white chair rentals, which also still had the plastic seat cover over the padding.
2. What we paid for, discussed, and expected was not honored. Was a fully stressful, burdensome, and outright unprofessional experience.
3. Our backdrop was promised to be white with blue and silver drapes to match our wedding colors and we were given a photo of how it would look (see picture). Again, not done. We sadly walked into a plain white backdrop (see picture).
4. We paid for sparklers that were initially promised to continuously run for 7 minutes, but later changed that they run for 4-5 minutes. Carmen also did not stay to set them off or to teach anyone how it worked, besides sending us a random YouTube clip. She also did not arrange them properly, so our parents ended up wasting time before our wedding to adjust the wires around the door entrance and watching videos to teach themselves how to set them off properly for our entrance.
5. When we were going over our final wedding vision, she added more stress suddenly asking that we find tablecloths elsewhere, FOUR DAYS before our wedding at this point. We had already paid the full bill, including paying her full cost of purchase for the tablecloths, only to having them to rent and were not wrinkle-free or spot-treated on wedding day.
6. Three days before our wedding, we and our venue still did not know when she would set up and take down her decor. She herself did not have this planned out yet, as she asked us again to remind her our timeline so she can arrange her times. Also, our venue asked her to set up the night before our wedding, since they require that most of the room be arranged ahead of time. She declined, stating her 1-hour drive is too long, and instead began on our wedding morning around 8am. This added tremendous stress to our schedule: instead of enjoying time getting ready with our bridal party and family, we had to run around to personally set up the other decor items that we brought, but had now been delayed till she arrived (our personal chair sashes, card box, table candles etc.). This setup took up literally all morning and afternoon of our wedding day, cut into our photo time, and made our big day chaotic and rushed.
7. Soon after booking, we found her advertisement for 15% discount. When asked to please apply this, she stated she already has competitive prices and that this discount was already applied at the initial bill, which is not true since it was not previously discussed, nor incorporated on our itemized bill.VIP Wedding and Events's reply:
This person has edited their review 4 times 4 different versions of misleading statements.
I have been haggled throughout this whole ordeal ask to reduce give discounts on top of discounts throw in free items to the point of unfairness. Unrealistic requests so far from the normal ask of anyone! I have helped bend my own rules to facilitate this person requests... I'm well aware there's people who just can't be pleased no matter what you do or how much help is given and in the end will resort to this type of thing.
However my work speaks for itself the quality of my product and creativity. My Client's are always extremely happy with my service and appreciates all the help I give and will continue to do moving forward.
