Choose Vintage Cakes & Catering for your next event! They catered my wedding in January and everything was perfect. They go way above and beyond what any other caterer offers. The tasting is amazing and they really pay attention to the details. The food was delicious, and the cakes were even better.

Delicious Food and Attractive Set Up

Sherry, Jerry, and their staff help to make our wedding reception the event of our lives. The food was delicious and was displayed in an amazing way. The servers wore tasteful masks to go along with our Victorian/Halloween theme. Everything about the service was top notch. There was also great communication and services were preformed just as agreed upon.

Excellent Food & Cake!

Being the owner of a Venue and recent Mother of the Groom I have had many opportunities to work with Sherry & Jerry at Vintage Cakes & Catering. They are at the top of my recommendation list for brides at my Venue. They catered my son's wedding this past April for 170 people. The food was wonderful and the guests had nothing, but compliments on the taste and quality of the food that was served at the cocktail reception and the dinner that followed. Sherry's cakes are some of the best that I have ever had. They are moist, great tasting and always beautiful. Their staff is professional and very responsive to guests and any requests that are made at the event. Sherry & Jerry personally oversee the events.

Vintage Cakes and Catering are the epitome of excellence. Sherry and Jerry Lomax has got this to art form. My daughter's wedding was June 15, 2018 with about 250 in attendance. Every attendee was served and seated within 35-40 minutes. There was approx. 20 servers and every one of them were pleasant and willing to go beyond the call of duty. The food was simply AMAZING!!!!! So many guest called me days later to compliment the caterer. The wedding cake was the best I ever tasted....until I tasted the groom's cake,,,, O M G!!!!! This was one of the best experiences with a vendor. Oh yeah....., their prices cannot be beat!!

My husband and I highly recommend this catering company—they catered our daughter’s wedding. We had delicious food and excellent service! The owners were extremely organized and professional! We had plenty of food and the wedding cake was simply divine!!!

The guests at my daughter's recent wedding reception are still raving about the food and service provided by Vintage Cakes & Catering! The quality of food was impeccable while the portions were more than generous; furthermore, the presentation was absolutely gorgeous! They worked closely with us to plan the reception that we had envisioned right down to the matching straws and linens! I was so proud of that I could provide my daughter and her reception guests with such an amazing event! Vintage Cakes & Catering made it so easy! I will definitely use them for all of my catering needs in the future!

Vintage Cakes and Catering provided food for our reception two weekends ago and they were AMAZING! We received so many compliments on not only their food but also their presentation of their food. The setup was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend their services!

We were SO pleased with Vintage Cakes & Catering! We are still receiving compliments on how amazing the food and cake was at our wedding! It was such a relief to know I could trust them to make everything absolutely perfect and take that extra stress away for my big day! Working with Vintage Catering was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had with any vendor! Several guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. They took time to get to know us and learn what our vision for our wedding was. We chose to have pie instead of wedding cake and they created a beautiful pie display that looked like a piece of art. Each pie had a different topping and it proved how much attention to detail was paid. They take so much pride in what they do and I felt like they became an actual part of our wedding, not just a service provider. We were blown away by Vintage Catering

Vintage Cakes & Catering did an excellent job in making the wedding a class act. The food was excellent and the presentation was perfect! I would not have changed a thing about the dining experience. Also, the cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious.

Vintage Cakes and Catering are awesome caterers! I have been working in the hospitality industry for 10 years and they are one of the best!
I did not have a day of planner and they took our cocktail hour and reception and ran it so flawlessly.
The food and cake was delicious. My brother who hates vegetables loved the bacon wrapped green beans. We also just had some of our cake (frozen & almost 2 months old) and it was just as good as our wedding day.
They were so accommodating to hosing a tasting and walk through with us.
In addition we did have quite a few guest with allergies/celiacs and they were able to accommodate them.
I would highly recommend them for any event.

Vintage Cakes and Catering provided the catering and our wedding cake for our wedding in April! All of our guests LOVED the food and raved about it for days after. What a joy it was working with Vintage Cakes & Catering. There were times as mother of the bride that I found planning the wedding to be a bit overwhelming. I have to say I never had any worries concerning Vintage Cakes & Catering. Well maybe one. Justifying to my husband the money I was spending. The fact that they worked with us on price made that a bit easier. My daughter and I met with Jerry and Sherry early on for our tasting. The groom wasn't able to make it so they fixed him a plate to go. The food was absolutely delicious. We also discussed our ideas we had for the cake table. I'm not sure who was more excited, us or them. They were so thorough.and helpful. We met again to do a mockup of the cake table and then once more at the venue for space planning. They had catered at our venue before and offered great suggestions for how to make things flow smoothly. We were ready for the big day. September 27 arrived. I'm running around making sure everything is in its place when a young man comes up and introduces himself as being with Vintage Cakes & Catering and then asks if there was anything he could do to help. And he meant anything. He started by helping me move empty boxes. Need I say more. Time for the reception. The food was just as delicious as it had been at the tasting. And the buffet was beautiful. The wait staff could not have done a better job and they looked so nice. When it was all over my husband went on and on about Vintage Cakes and Catering. I'd done good. I have another daughter and will no doubt be calling my new friends Jerry and Sherry when that day comes! P.S. We have a new family favorite, the apple stuffed pork tenderloin. YUM YUM!!!! It doesn't get any better than that.

Vintage Cakes and Catering did our rehearsal dinner, reception dinner, and our wedding cakes. They were so wonderful to work with through out the entire process and went above and beyond what we asked of them. Everyone continues to comment on how great the food was at the reception!

The Lomaxs are wonderful people and they truly take pride in their work. They did a phenomenal job on our wedding the food was delicious, the cakes were delicious and beautiful and the service was exceptional. They did an excellent job listening to what I wanted and delivering it. If an opportunity come up where I need a cater again I would certainly use them.

I happily give Vintage Cakes and Catering 5 stars and would give them more if the scale went any higher. Vintage C&C catered my son and daughter-in-law's wedding and provided the wedding and groom's cake. The service they provided exceeded my highest expectations. The food was to die for and the cakes absolutely delicious. I was not expecting such professional servers and the presentation of the food and cakes was gorgeous. I cannot express my deep appreciation to the staff at Vintage Cakes and Catering. When our event was over, we felt they were more like friends and family. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for catering or cake service and I will definitely use them again.

Working with Sherry and Jerry at Vintage Cakes and Catering was, hands down, one of the most delightful experiences I have had working with a catering service or any event vendor. My daughter's first birthday theme was unique and my ideas were out of the box regarding food that would be pleasing for the adults and the children present at the party. Sherry's creativity elevated some "kid favorites" into a full menu that kept all of our partygoers happy. Even more than the food itself the creative presentation and tablescapes Sherry designed truly made our event one of a kind. Vintage Cakes and Catering is certainly a full service catering company. If you are looking for the highest level of professionalism, attention to detail and a unique event they can certainly turn your vision into a reality. As a working mother I was thankful to have such wonderful people on board whose experience and passion for their work made it clear that I could trust them with the details and enjoy celebrating my little girl's special day. Thank you Sherry, Jerry and the Vintage Team for making our event so memorable- I look forward to working with you again in the future!

THE BEST OF THE BEST! During our wedding and reception, we had a few "complicated" requests but Vintage Cakes and Catering worked every step of the way with us. We had AMAZING food and two gorgeous, delicious cakes! This is a family owned business and they do just a wonderful job. The staff was very professional and friendly. I will recommend this caterer to ANYONE and EVERYONE.

This vendor was absolutely amazing. From the cake itself to the decorations on the cake were above and beyond what I was wanting. From the added ribbon to the texture on the grooms cake were little details that made the cakes pop that I didn't even have to ask for. They took the time to help me plan the designs of my cakes several times and went above and beyond to help make this part of my day wonderful.

BEST value in Murfreesboro! A different bakery in my town wanted a fortune to do my wedding cake. Vintage did my cake with different flavors for each tier with chocolate covered strawberries for a steal. Cake was beautiful and tasted delicious. Definitely recommend to other brides!

I was looking for a caterer who provided food traditionally served at weddings where I come from (the Southeast), which usually included lots of different finger foods. Vintage Cakes and Catering had a vast menu with this menu option, but they also have traditional dinner options too (protein, veggies, starch, and bread). I met with them in October to discuss our May wedding, and they were so truly friendly and knowledgeable that I knew we were going to go with them. Of course, I wanted to sample the food too! So, they set up a tasting for me with all the items I wanted at the wedding, which was a pretty big spread. I came back for a second visit and to sign contract/pay the deposit, and I was amazed by not only the food but the presentation. The fact that Sherry cared to set up an elegant spread at her home for me was indicative of the care they would take in catering my wedding. When I tasted the food, I fell in love with everything, so I got it all! Needless to say, we had a ton of food at our wedding, but it was worth it!

We continued to be in contact back and forth up until a month prior to the wedding, when they met me at the venue to help plan the table arrangements. Sherry was very helpful with planning, as she took the time to think about flow of guests, crowding around the drinks table and bar, and the overall theme of the wedding. She went the extra mile by buying burlap to match the runners on all the tables at the wedding, totally integrating the look of the food presentation with the wedding's theme. She also took the initiative to move the drink tables and set up the bar for us, since I had only planned for an outside bar and it was going to rain during the reception. Sherry and Jerry also were kind enough to set the silverware on the tables for us, and they packed us a couple of boxes of food to take with us that night. They seemed to think of everything, and they were wonderful!

I would recommend Vintage Cakes and Catering to anyone! They were professional, easy to contact, friendly, and genuinely cared about our wedding and decor. Choose them if you want great food at a good price with the added bonus of working with great people!

Made my wedding day wonderful! Everyone said the food tasted amazing and looked great too! The way they displayed the food was absolutely beautiful. Our cake was great too and, again, was displayed wonderfully. They were very easy to work with and made sure to accommodate all of our needs, especially mine (the bride) because I have a strict, low acid diet. They even had signs up in kitchen to make sure no one gave me water with the citrus fruit in it. Would recommend them to anyone.

Vintage Cakes and Catering catered our wedding meal and wedding cake. Both the food and cake were to die for! All of the guests enjoyed the food and everyone LOVED the cake! The owners are very nice; Sherry handles more of the business while Jerry entertains and take the time to get to know you. They had us over to their home for a tasting. They were extremely gracious hosts and worked a little bit with us so we could afford it, but they really couldn't do a lot. However, if you can afford them I believe it is worth it, because they really go the extra mile to present the food well. I do believe their prices are competitive- they are not overpriced, but depending on your budget it could be difficult. Their servers were also well dressed and polite which is important and not something you will get with every caterer. There were a few issues with some other vendors being upset with them, but I truly don't know the entire story. Overall, you can expect great service and food from Vintage Cakes and Catering. If you want them to do something you will need to specifically outline every detail. They were willing to help- but to a certain extent; however, they provide a specific service and they do that well.
