We could not have picked a more perfect venue! The flexibility, the views, the layout, the atmosphere, the support from Stu and Diana, everything was amazing and it made for an unforgettable day! This was the only venue around the Portland/NW Oregon area that we found that did not have absurd restrictions - we got to use the venue the whole day and could bring our own caterer, bartender and everything! The owners provided the chairs, tables, dancefloor and other décor, which made setup a breeze, and we didn't need any additional lights or a lot of extra décor because the venue itself is so beautiful! Dear Edelina . . . I had to take a few days to savor this review before responding. Without a doubt, it is the one that stands out as it dropped me to my knees! I was with my daughters when I first read it and I think we ALL cried a little bit. I will never forget your "conga line" dance Bulgarian-style. Watching it from the balcony was an emotional experience as well. You were so self-assured and graceful leading your family members and guests around the venue lawn; all the more incredible as I know you don't especially relish the limelight. Dan was such a considerate, loving groom and clearly thrilled to be marrying you (and into your family!). Wait until you see my videos of him joining in and learning the steps -- priceless. I hope every prospective bride and groom will see your review; your description(s) read like an advertisement for La Bastide. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and best wishes as you begin your married life . . . -

We own a catering business and we have been to the Vineyard View Venue a handful of times to cater events. The owners, Stu and Diana, have always been more than happy to help in any way they can. We have witnessed this when we cater there and also have witnessed it in the way they accommodate their clients and put people at ease. Also, the venue is just breathtaking. The rock fence is amazing and the views are spectacular, it is like you have walked into a beautiful fairy forest among the vineyards. We would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone looking for their event/wedding to be absolutely the best. -

Wedding Venue
I could not imagine a better place for my husband and I to get married than at Vineyard View Celebrations. Diana and her husband were amazing and made our day so special. From working tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect day of to the great communication leading up to the big day- you could easily tell they wanted the best day for us and treated us like their own daughter and son. Also, just the venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. From the Koi Pond, to the wheat field, to the ceremony and reception area overlooking a vineyard- their grounds are beautiful and compared to others so well priced for what you get. I could not say enough good things about them and their venue. Thank you!!!! -

What a wonderful celebration we had on July 2, 2022, for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding! The venue is so beautiful, the setting spectacular, and Diana is the hostess with the mostest! The downstairs facilities were perfect for our very large wedding party (nine bridesmaids and ten groomsmen). All in all it was such an unforgettable day! This venue was perfect for us in every aspect. The owners are wonderful, so flexible, yet professional, and overall made our ‘covid wedding’ feel like a perfect dream! I cannot recommend this place enough!Vineyard View Celebrations's reply:

We have so many praises to sing about this place! My wife and I found ourselves scrambling to find a wedding venue when our original venue fell through due to ice storm damage—and somehow the stars aligned for us to find Vineyard View Celebrations. Diana immediately responded to our inquiry email with information, maps, a walk-through date, and sweet little side notes that we just loved. We often didn't know what to expect when contacting and meeting with vendors for our LGBTQ+ wedding, but Diana was completely welcoming, kind, and so excited for us to have our wedding at Vineyard View. We loved that we were free to hire the caterers and bartender we wanted, and Diana and Stu worked wonderfully with our day-of coordinator to make everything come together. They even have a good collection of decorative tables and other decor that we used to our advantage! So many of our guests have mentioned how much they loved the beautiful space, and we loved dancing the night away beneath the trees, the cabin, and the string lights. Beautiful!
When our original venue fell through a month before our wedding we were looking for a new location! My now-husband found this venue and we quickly fell in love with it (we liked it better than our original venue!). Diana, the owner was quick to respond, extremely kind and accommodating, and very professional. Even in the chaos of relocating our wedding, she made the transition go smoothly, giving us advice and letting us borrow some decor. Located in the foothills of the Cascades, you can't beat the views at Vineyard View Celebrations at La Bastide - it is a photographers dream. You have many options to choose from including the forest, vineyard, fields, and landscaped koi ponds. With a west facing view our golden hour sunset photos turned out incredibly dreamy. Without a doubt we would recommend this venue to anyone!Vineyard View Celebrations's reply:

I chose La Bastide as my wedding venue in July 2019. My now-husband and I had been searching for a venue for months and were running out of patience and enthusiasm. Many other venues were either astronomical or had really strict contracts that didn't quite fit our needs. I found this venue on Google Images, of all places, after searching on all the major wedding databases had failed me.
Now that my wedding is over, I can say I highly recommend La Bastide! Diana was a dream to work with. She was so thoughtful and sweet throughout the process. She answered all my questions promptly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day. She was like a second mom to me!
The venue itself is beautiful and we received lots of compliments from guests. There were so many cute spots for our photographer and our guests to take photos and the grounds are super well maintained. It was a great backdrop for our intimate wedding. -

We had the PERFECT wedding at La Bastide. We selected the location, site unseen from out of state, and trusted our wedding planner that it would be beautiful. It was beyond our expectations. It is the best place for a wedding if you are looking for an intimate ceremony and reception that reminds you of being in your own backyard ....but way better. The views are stunning and the grounds are meticulously maintained. The best part of the venue is the owner, Diana. She was so friendly and welcoming, and went out of her way to help make our day special. -
