Got tons of compliments on the food!! We did their Summerville salad, French roasted potatoes, red pepper penne pasta, and asiago Crusted Chicken. All of it was awesome. I also asked if I could have a late night pierogi bar, they said yes and it was a hit! They were very quick with set up (the napkin folding was gorgeous) and everyone got their food in a timely matter, no hiccups or complaints!

Village Catering was truly amazing and went above and beyond for us! They were incredibly patient every step of the way with all our changes and questions! Allison was super responsive and awesome! We hired them for both the rehearsal dinner and for the wedding day, and the food was delicious and well organized! We even had a miscommunication on the rehearsal dinner menu that I totally missed, but Melissa went above and beyond to fix it for us! She was so incredible! Both her and John, our event day coordinators, were incredible and super sweet! And I love that they are a Christian run company! They are extremely respectful and it’s clear they hold themself to great moral standards, they’ve been so great to work with! Highly recommend!

Village Catering was everything we could’ve asked for for wedding catering! Leading up to our wedding, communication was great and VC staff were more than willing to change and adapt as our wedding day details shifted. The food was hot and delicious and the staff was friendly! Everyone left our wedding feeling full and happy. As soon as the first table finished their dinner, we began getting compliments on the food and we’ve been getting them ever since! We barely had any leftovers because people jumped at the chance to get seconds! We would 100% hire this company again!

I had to caterers lined up for my wedding reception, but the Village Catering company blew them out of the water. Ali Sprague was my go-to person and answered so many questions most dutifully and respectfully. The tasting that was set up for my partner and I was very well done. All the food was delicious! We received so many good reviews for our choice of beef medallion, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, apple pecan salad, and the tea we ordered for the tables was delicious! The day of the helpers were respectful and outdid themselves in being helpful! They did more than asked. Thank you.

We are so happy we chose Village Catering to cater our wedding. The planning process was smooth thanks to them. Allison was super helpful at answering my many questions leading up to the wedding. The food was INCREDIBLE. We received so many compliments on our wedding about how great the food was. The staff was very friendly and professional also. We were so impressed! Village Catering serviced our rehearsal dinner and reception meal in May for our wedding. The food was amazing to say the least. All the meats were tender and juicy. The salads and breads were fresh. Our guests enjoyed the appetizers and desserts. We received so many compliments for the beef medallions and pesto pasta. We had plenty of food left over which we packaged and placed in our freezer allowing us to enjoy meals for weeks. We were actually disappointed when it was gone. The most difficult part was choosing the meals because there are so many delicious options. We were able to enjoy samples of several choices at a tasting hosted by Greystone Event Center. The catering staff is prompt and friendly. We highly recommend hiring Village Catering for your event needs.

Everyone raved about the food!
Village Catering makes not only amazing, delicious food, but is super easy to work with and takes care of all the little details of your wedding food. They staged everything beautifully, served and set everything up properly, and made the entire experience of working with a catering company like a dream. Ali was phenomenal to work with, patiently answering every question and fielding all my crazy ideas (individually packaged cinnamon rolls by the door for guests on the way out) and last minute requests (allergies, guest counts, etc.). My husband and I were adamant about making sure we had delicious food at our wedding, and Village Catering did NOT disappoint! So sweet and helpful!
They were incredibly helpful and kind through the entire process. The contact we worked with, Ali. Was incredibly sweet and on top of things. They were flexible and willing to work with what we needed and could afford and the food was delicious!! The beef medallion in particular was everyone's favorite, it was all absolutely amazing! They were even willing to use my mother in laws air fryer and fries to prepare the grooms brother who has autism a special meal! And on the day they offered to bring the groom and I food even though we had buffet and when it was time to clean up they were happy to help! They made sure they had all the items we rented packed up and worh them. We looked through a lot of caterers and I'm so glad we held out until we found them!

Extremely happy with our catering experience with Village Catering. From the first email response to the last thank you of the catering staff who helped clean up at the end of the event we had a wonderful experience. All communication was professional, quick, helpful, and they answered all of my questions promptly. The set up, service, delivery, and clean up were so wonderful and all the staff was amazing as well. The food was EXCELLENT and we received so many compliments. The variety to choose from was more extensive than we could have imagined with lots of fun choices we didn't find anywhere else. The pricing was extremely competitive and for the quality we received far less expensive than we found anywhere else as well. I did extensive research of many companies and I am so happy I chose Village Catering. Book them, you will be so happy you did and so will your guests!

Village catering did a great job catering our wedding. Ali, who I was in contact with for over 2 years since we had to reschedule our wedding 3 times was so responsive and checked in a bunch. We went and did a tasting beforehand and the guests LOVED the food. They even provided 2 gf and df meal options for two of my bridesmaids. They got over 160 people through a buffet line in about 30 minutes which was insane. We rented linens from them also and the two women who set them up did a great job and were so friendly. They did a full cleanup of plates & glasses and we're awesome to have at our wedding! I would recommend them to anyone.

Can't say enough about the service and the qualify of the food for our daughter's wedding. Everyone told us how delicious everything was. Ours was an outdoor event with few amenities available to catering. Plus it was a very hot day. But the staff was SO friendly and seemed to really enjoy making sure everyone was happy with their meal. From menu sections, to table settings, to the amazing dinner and then to clean-up,.. Mother of the bride
Village Catering of Smithville, Ohio was very professional, caring, in all aspects of helping us plan our daughter’s wedding. Originally we had planned a buffet reception for 200 guests. Due to COVID, not only did we postpone the wedding, but downsized and chose to have the dinner and cocktail party served as plated meals in order to continue practicing social distancing. The wait time for service and appetizers was minimal for the 130 guests during the cocktail party, dinner, and serving the desserts. The servers were very polite, well-trained and uniformly neat in appearance. The food was delicious, and we received many compliments on the quality and quantity of the servings, We highly recommend Village Catering.

Elegant Venue
We had an amazing experience with Greystone and Village Catering. Brian Sayre and his staff were very accommodating and easy to work with. There was a large selection of linens, china and center pieces which is included in the cost. The food was delicious, we received a lot of compliments from our guests after the wedding. They took care of everything including the setup and tear down. Everything looked beautiful and exactly how we wanted it. The venue was very spacious with gorgeous bridal and groom suites. The location was perfect for our out of town guests. The venue is in a convenient location with a hotel next door.

Fantastic catering service!
This catering staff was really sweet and easy to work with! To start out we made an appointment with them for a tasting where we tasted their large assortment of entrees and sides (no need for dinner that night). They also have a large variety of wedding décor you are able to rent if you want. They have anything from table cloths and chair covers to rustic decorations to spruce up whatever setting you’re in. We ended up going with the beef medallion roast and the hickory smoked pulled pork as our entrees with homestyle mashed potatoes, honey almond green beans, and penne pasta with homemade red sauce as our sides. All of which were delicious! They were able to accommodate our small group during the pandemic and were easy to work with as we made adjustments. They responded well to email and let us make several changes to the menu before we finally settled on a final choice. They were also kind enough to box up all the leftover food for us to take home after the reception.

The food is absolutely the best caterer food we have ever had! All our guests raved about it during the wedding and after. The people at VC were great to work with - from our very first tasting right through the end of the reception, everyone we dealt with was friendly, quick to respond and helpful with any question or issue. I would recommend them for any event!

AMAZING- you need to book today!
When our wedding had to be postponed due to COVID, Brian and Alli jumped right in and helped me figure everything out. They were so gracious in the entire experience. The food was also phenomenal. I had so many guests ask who catered and that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding!!!! Village Catering is the absolute best.

I would highly recommend them!
Village catering company was incredible to work with! Ali was great she made sure I felt completely comfortable with everything and even met with me one more time because I was feeling uncertain with everything I had to do the day of. The ladies they sent to help set up were such a help! Everyone LOVED the food and couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was! I love that they do linens and are able to rent items from them it made it super easy to just have to go through one company. They were also great at communicating and got back to me right away which I appreciate very much!

Great Food Kept Guests Coming Back for More!
Village Catering catered both my rehearsal and my reception, and I was so impressed with both dinners! I love food, so there was nothing more perfect in my mind than getting to sit next to my new husband, watch all of our guests, and eat the DELICIOUS meal VC provided for us! Also, as a side note for anyone with a smaller space: VC set up our buffet on the dance floor during dinner and had it torn down in time for dancing to start. AND, they did it so quickly and quietly that I don’t even remember them tearing down even though I was right there! Absolutely would recommend!

Village Catering Company was an awesome caterer and provided us with linens for our tables, flatware, and silverware. They arrived on time for our planner to be able to set up the dinner tables early and make sure all the details were right. The buffet line we decided on was very clean and simple, making it easy for everyone to see what was available. Every one of my guests said they loved every piece of food they chose. The workers who released the tables and interacted with the guests were great, and they did a great job helping the people with food allergies. Every person we interacted with at the company from the taste testing, contacting them with questions, and the people on the day of were great.

The best you can find
Village Catering far exceeded our expectations for a caterer. Brian and his team are great. They are easy to work with and very accommodating. My wife wanted to change the linen colors about a week before our wedding and they were able to do it for us. The food was amazing. We got a selection of appetizers and a buffet dinner. Everyone raved about the food. Everything was so good. We got a mix of mini desserts from them as well. They were also excellent and presented so well. We got plates, silverware, and linens from Brian and everything was great. I highly recommend Village Catering.

Our wedding was at Happy Days Lodge on 7/13/19. We went off of the preferred list at our venue and chose Village Catering from a wedding show we had attended. After serval tastings at various caterers, none measured up to VC. When we went there, we just knew we wanted them at our wedding! Everything was amazing from start to finish! Village Catering went above and beyond to make our wedding a dream come true. They were very accommodating in meeting all of our needs and requests. Their friendly staff was very attentive throughout the evening and we cannot say enough good things about the food. We even had guests that requested their business card. Brian and Ali are on top of everything and made sure that our day was perfect. We cannot say enough good things!!

Working with the Village Catering company was beyond perfect. We weren’t able to set up the night before and only had access to our venue on the day of. They showed up on time and helped by setting up the tables. They answered all of my questions, sometimes more than once when I forgot their answer. They were very accommodating. We had real china for the bridal party and really nice plastic wear that matched the China for the guests. They helped serve my husband and I and were very attentive to anything we need and if our guests need anything. The food was AMAZING. There were absolutely no complaints about the food. It was hot and ready to go when we got there. The staff was very nice and happy to see us. I would totally recommend Village Catering Company to anyone who needs an event caterer.

My husband and I used Village Catering for our wedding this past weekend. We have received so many compliments on the food!! It was so good our family wants it again! I cannot speak highly enough about Brian and Village Catering. Not only is the food amazing, their customer service and attention to detail is second to none. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our wedding. Every single detail was perfect from the appetizer spread, backdrop, linens and table set up and buffet. Our guests raved about the food and the doesn't always happen with wedding food. Even the leftovers were amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful - everything was literally perfect. I would hire them a million times over.

Village Catering was absolutely wonderful to work with and the food was delicious! They did a lot more than catering for our wedding, providing the parking attendants, chairs, tables, linens. Brian and Allie were so friendly to work with. They did two tastings for us and also helped us find our venue. We never thought we would serve meatloaf at our wedding but it was just too delicious not to choose as an entree! They were flexible during the event when we were running a bit ahead of schedule as well.

Our guests could not stop ranting and raving about how great the food was at our wedding. I lost count of how many people came up to me during our wedding and told me so! It is almost two weeks after the wedding and they are still talking about it!
My sister used Village Catering for her wedding a year ago, and my now husband who works in the event industry said it was the best food he has ever had at a wedding. And a year later at our wedding it still held true!
Brian and his team went above and beyond to make our evening flow smoothly! He even surprised us with dipping oil for the bread at our tables.
Brian is very easy to work with and has very reasonable prices! We highly recommend Village Catering to anyone and will use them for all future catering needs.

Great food, great service!
We had Village Catering cater my daughter's wedding at Gish Barn in Rittman, OH. They were there before I got there to drop off decorations at 8:00 am, and they didn't leave till late that evening. Besides offering delicious food (the beef medallions were melt-in-your-mouth good!), tasty homemade hot chocolate, and setting up our cookie bar, their servers were sweet, helpful, and very competent. Before they left that night they even gave me a big hug and said how much it was a pleasure to work with us :-) Service with a heart!!

They say that the two things you should make sure to have at your wedding are good food, a good photographer and a good DJ. Village hit the food on the head. I do not give these 5 stars lightly. Multiple guests and family member, and especially my DOC, sang the praises of my caterers and how wonderful they were. I could not agree more. They are a small, mostly family-run business and they made everything so easy for us. From answering our mountain of questions to switching up a mislabeled table at the last minute, everything was done perfectly. Brian was amazing during the planning process and very responsive even though we did most of our planning during the busiest part of wedding season. They pay attention to the little things like making sure the exact cake stand I requested, out of the dozens they have available, is the one that is used. Village catering company is flexible, organized and delicious!

We had the pleasure to have our wedding dinner through Village Catering. Our wedding was a beautiful day and would not have been possible without the Village Catering team.
The company provides truly unique appetizers that had our guests going back for more throughout cocktail hour. We had our entrees as the Chicken Asiago and Pork Tenderloin. Both entrees were outstanding and we received that feedback from many of our guests. The cake and strawberry shortcake desserts we had also went over really well with the crowd.
The planning process was very smooth with Village Catering as well. We went through most of the details and had them planned out before meeting with Brian and his team which made coordinating everything as easy as possible.
All of this was done at an extremely reasonable price and we both felt they provided exceptional value. We highly recommend them for your wedding.

This company blew all my guests out of the water! I got complaints all night about how this was the first wedding they went to, where the food DIDN'T tast like wedding food! Village Catering Company was amazing to work with! We got to try a good selection of their food before deciding on a menu and it was hard to choose what we wanted because everything was SO GOOD! They were super easy to work with and Brian was probably he nicest guy to work with and very accommodating for whatever we needed! At the reception, the workers were so sweet and such great workers! The food at our reception was DELICIOUS and we got a TON of compliments on the food! The popcorn bar was also amazing!!

Linens, tableware, full-service, and the best food around are just some of what they offer. Being able to arrange everything through one vendor is so much easier - trust me! The food for my wedding could not have been better. From the appetizers, main meal, dessert station, and late night food - they did it all! You won't regret your decision to work with one of the best caterers around. They did all of the clean up so that we didn't have to worry about a thing and were able to just enjoy the night. I couldn't be happier!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff at Village Catering! From planning the menu to carrying out our special day, simply the best. Not only was the service at our wedding top notch, but so was the food! We had a lot of our guests tell us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding and we agree! Brian was there for us every step of the way while planning and Chris was our day of coordinator and did everything and anything to make sure my husband and I were happy!

Brian and his staff are simply amazing! They made everything so easy and stress free. The food was over the top, I had guest raving about it all week. The beef. chicken. potatoes, salad,, OH MY GOSH. So delicious. I HIGHLY recommend The Village Catering Company. Worth every penny!

Kenna, Brian, and the entire Village staff did an awesome job at my daughters April 14 wedding. The couple wanted wings and pizza; we quickly discovered that not all caterers offer that. Brian not only offered us a great menu of salads, pasta options, pizza options, and wing options, along with awesome appetizers, he also had us come in for a tasting so we could try out the products and take a look at the rental items they also offer. We made several changes to our contract and Kenna was patient and eager to answer my many questions! The day of the wedding, the food was delicious, the staff accommodating and friendly! They helped us with pie cutting and clean up - they were efficient and quick! I really could not have asked for more!

Prior to choosing a caterer, we had many friends recommend Village Catering Company so we decided to check them out. We were immediately impressed with their professionalism and all the details they offered aside from serving food (linens, tableware, etc). Once we started the food tasting we immediately knew our friends were right and that we needed to book them! The food was just as amazing as the service we received on our wedding day. Kenna and Brian were so easy to contact and handled everything from picking up/delivering linens and staying the entire time to clean up after our wedding. Everyone was commenting about how delicious the food was-- even weeks after our wedding! My cousin, who is a professional chef, even commented on the wonderful quality of their food. I 100% recommend Village Catering for any event!

Incredible experience with village catering. From the first visit all the way to night of Kenna was there for me for any questions or helped me with any decision I needed to make. People raved about the food. Best catered food I have ever had and I have been to 20+ weddings, and at such a great price. I also chose to get linens and centerpieces through Village and Kenna walked me through all the options. Showing up at the venue and seeing it all together was the greatest. Would recommend over and over again!!

Our wedding reception was on the 18th of November in Akron. Not only did they come out that far, but did so twice as our setup was on Friday evening. They provided exceptional service, as they had everything prepped well and ready at the right time. They seamlessly worked in the background making sure the appetizers were stocked and had the dinner buffet so no one had to wait. Everyone loved the food and were surprised how flavorful everything was in such large quantities. The bacon wrapped meat loaf was a huge hit and the french roasted potatoes went over well too. We had guests asking us who we had cater as they were impressed with our menu. They were easy to work with and made the day stress free!

Village Catering was always available to our requests and questions, and communicated in a professional manner. On the day of the wedding, the staff was friendly and speedy in their delivery and service. We really enjoyed having them as our catering service and would highly recommend the business for a wedding or other event. Their presentation of the appetizer's was beautiful and neat, as was the buffet display for our dinner. Everyone raved about the beef tips and said they really enjoyed the food. The chef even created chicken marsala special for our menu and it was delicious as well. Can't say enough great things about this company, and encourage folks to support this business!

The Village Catering team helped our day to be absolutely flawless, and for that I am extremely grateful! They worked with us to modify our menu to help it stay within our price point, and were more than accommodating when we asked to change it. We decided to do a brownie bar for our wedding, and they even included a beautiful handmade brownie cake on a glass cake platter for decoration. These are the type of folks who will go the extra mile! We received MANY compliments on the food and service. I really am grateful for their cooperating with the venue and other vendors to make the night flawless.
