From the moment I stepped into this salon I knew it would be the best experience. Daniella helped me find my dress, in fact it was the first one I tried on but I kept going back to it. They were patient, kind, friendly, and so helpful. I cannot thank this team enough. I got SO many compliments.

Amazing from Start to Finish!

Village Bridal is the BEST! The first time I went in to look at wedding dresses for the first time with my mother and maid of honor, they made me feel so special! We were helped by Julita, and she was so excited to help me find the dress of my dreams! I explained to her what I was looking for and showed her some inspirational photos on my phone. Together we looked through numerous options and she was happy to pull multiple gowns for me to try on and never made me feel rushed. I was even able to try on some favorites a second time. At the end of the appointment, I decided I wanted to sleep on my decision for a little bit. When I went back a couple of weeks later, I met with Vicki. She pulled out some of my favorites from the previous appointment and also allowed me to try on a few others. After trying on the first dress from the first appointment again, I ended up saying "Yes to the Dress!" They truly made the experience so special. I eventually selected my veil, earrings and shawl (winter wedding) from them as well. They were excellent with my alterations and were very communicative along the way. I would recommend this bridal shop to anyone looking for their dream dress! Thank you Village Bridal, for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!

Amazing experience

I bought my dress back in 2019 before Covid, and with postponing the wedding to 2021, village bridal stepped up and everything went so smoothly. The alteration was a piece of cake, and everyone we worked with were accommodating and kind. I am so happy with my decision to get my wedding dress there

Great service

The staff at Village Bridal were pleasant and helpful. Krissy assisted me during my first appointment. I tried on (a lot!) of dresses and brought my mother, aunt and maid of honor with me. We were in a comfortable area with plenty of space, seating and privacy. I told Krissy a little about my style and showed her some pictures. She went off and picked several dresses that she felt I would like. What I loved is that they allowed me and my guests to pick through the dresses as well. My guests each picked a dress or two that they liked, and I picked a few as well. Krissy gave me some great options and it was good to see different styles so that I could nail down what I liked and didn't like. She was patient, kind and willing to go above and beyond. I felt really comfortable with her. I had found a dress that I loved, but wasn't quite ready to "say yes" right away. Krissy gave me the information for the dress as well as a quote. The price was reasonable and, because I told Krissy I didn't want a veil, she gave me credit towards a hairpiece. I took some time to think about the dress and when I was ready, I was able to make an appointment to come back. Krissy was patient as a tried the dress on again, along with just a few other options to ensure I had my mind made up. I said yes to the dress! From there, I received a phone call a few months later when they received my dress, and we set up an appointment for my first fitting. The seamstress was so sweet and really patient. She did a great job on the dress. I wanted it taken in nice and tight in the stomach area and she happily obliged - I have been in weddings before where the seamstress will try to talk you out of making the dress tighter. I picked up the dress the day before the wedding and was given instructions on how to handle it. All in all, my experience at Village Bridal & Boutique was excellent. They had a great selection of dresses and the staff were always pleasant on the phone and in person.

I worked with Carol and she was outstanding! I loved that she did not put any pressure on me to buy a dress before I was ready. I went in without any real idea as to what I wanted and she showed me some really beautiful dresses. In the end, I actually ended up buying the first dressed I tried on!
I ordered the dress at the end of July and it came in by Thanksgiving, which was much faster than I ever thought!
I had 3 fitting appointments and each one was smooth and fun! The entire experience was one I thoroughly enjoyed and that is because Village Bridal truly goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
Thank you Carol and the entire staff for helping me find my dream wedding dress! I can not tell you how many compliments I received on it the day of our wedding!

I got my wedding gown here. I met with Krissy and she was so nice. I thought the whole experience here was great & they also beat other prices. I had originally gone to Bridal Reflections and found the dress I loved and wanted. I priced around as someone at work had recommended and I am glad that I did. Village Bridal had the same gown for a few hundred dollars cheaper! Overall, great experience =)

We got my moms dress here when it was NY Bridal in Farmingdale. We worked with Vicky from the start and when they moved over to Village Bridal we were always happy to see her smiling face when we walked in. She always remembered my mom by name since day one. When we started working with Christina and Carol for fittings they were just as sweet. Thanks for helping us find the perfect dress for my mom!

Just went in for my first fitting - I am so glad I went here!!! I ordered a Maggie Sottero Ettia and since I am super short Laura advised me that I could order it in a shorten length and it was perfect. no hemming needed - I actually might need to get lower shoes. I also was given my Veil - Mantilla Style given to me as a gift and I felt that it was unfinished, the seamstress Teresa gave me the quick fix to make the veil look complete. I feel super confident in my dress they made me feel excited and calmed my anxieties.

I was very weary about trying on dresses. I am a curvier bride. I walked into Village Bridal and told them what I wanted. The first few dresses I couldn't get above my hips and wound up in tears. The consultant was reassuring and told my mom to have a seat and let her pull. My mom was pulling dresses that looked nice, not ones I could actually put on. I put on my gown after trying on about 5 and knew it was the one. The gown came in quickly. When we went in for alterations, they were pricey but the alterations team was well worth the price. They listened to me and my bridesmaids and MOB & MOG about what we wanted and made every attempt to be helpful. We all left there feeling great and glamorous.

I went to Village Bridal in August looking for a wedding dress. I fell in love with a dress but since it was my first day trying on gowns I wasn't ready to commit to it just yet. I tried another 8 stores and left every store in tears. Apparently being a size 10 in street clothes means that you can't try on wedding dresses. Bridal dresses run small and even though they carried a size 10 sample, that meant it was actually about a 6. But not Village Bridal! I had a large variety of dresses to try on and my consultant, Krissy was AMAZING!!! She helped me find dresses and helped me get in them. She tied every single corset the way it is supposed to be tied, instead of just doing a quick tie to rush me in and out of it. She took her time with me so that I could get the full effect of each dress. Yesterday I went back to Village Bridal and met with Krissy. I tried on a few more dresses but ultimately decided on the initial dress I chose last month. Village Bridal was awesome and Krissy was amazing to work with. We will definitely be back for our bridesmaids dresses in a few months!! THANK YOU for being the only bridal boutique that made looking for a dress enjoyable!!

I truly cannot say enough about this Bridal Shop. My daughter went here with all her bridesmaid to help her find a gown. She wanted to have fun doing this and with the help her Chrissy, her saleswoman, she sure did. She tried on a ton of gowns and Chrissy was just as excited as my daughter was! She found a stunning gown and what a surprise when it was time to pay. I did not know it would be discounted!!! We had no problem scheduling fittings and my daughter even asked for one extra one right before the wedding! No problem. Her gown fitted perfectly and even tho it was strapless, she NEVER once had to pull it up. I highly recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had such a great experience with Village Bridal. Julita is absolutely amazing - so helpful, knowledgeable, and patient (I tried on so many gowns!!). Julita helped us with everything - my bridal gown, my bridesmaids' dresses and the MOB and MOG gowns! My gown had A LOT of customization done to it, so they were very flexible with giving me more fittings than normal. I did have some issues with alterations not making some changes correctly, but by the time I had my final fitting everything was *perfect*!!

I LOVE my bridal gown - so beautiful and classic ... exactly what I wanted!

Even though I live in NYC, I found my dress at Village Bridal. They have a great selection of dresses and designers and stock samples in normal sizes, rather than only having only sizes four and six. Their pricing was amazing and they were willing to sell me an off the rack dress, which I needed because of my lead time. They were also incredibly nice to work with, and their while tailoring prices may seem expensive, they are a lot less than many of the other shops. And their tailor was happy to sew in m bridal belt, even though I purchased it elsewhere. I realize finding 'The Dress' can be a stressful project, but Village Bridal has a great selection and staff that is friendly, helpful and can guide you well in your search.

I had soooo much finding a dress at this location. Everyone in the store was sooo helpful and treating me like a was a princess! Kaitlin was amazing!! She was the one that found the perfect dress for me.. not to mention the veil & headpiece. We also ordered our bridesmaid's dresses there. We did find them cheaper in another location & Village Bridal was happy to match that price...so they were very accommodating to us. The seamstress was absolutely amazing.. she made my dress fir like a glove... not once did feel like I was "falling" out of it. I felt extremely comfortable in it all day!!!
I highly recommend shopping a Village Bridal in Babylon!!!

The ladies at Village Bridal are awesome-- fast, friendly, flexibile, fantastic! I live and got married in Annapolis, MD, but did my dress shopping in NY b/c my bridesmaids and Mom life there. I set out to find a dress in just 1 weekend, and I did it! I walked into Village Bridal, told Laura I had a dress in mind but preferred something slightly different, and 2 dresses later I was in love!

Not only that, in the next hour I picked out my bridesmaids dresses AND my Mom found her dress there! They are a small shop but have a great selection. We had been to 2 other bridal shops on Long Island, one of which would not let us peruse the dresses ourselves. (Bogus) Village Bridal is not at all pretentious like some other shops in the area. They are fairly priced and have a selection to cover all price ranges.

Best yet, since I live out of town they were absolutely flexible with my fittings. I even missed my final fitting stuck in NJ traffic and they squeezed me in later that same weekend. Awesome! I also customized my dress a bit and it came out perfect. Could not be happier!!! My only regret is that I don't get to wear my gorgeous dress again :)

When i pictured dress shopping for my wedding gown i wanted a boutique with a large selection. I was looking for a true mermaid dress. None of the precious stores i had visited had any selection whatsoever. as soon as i walked in i knew i was going to find the dress of my dreams. the store was impeccable, the women who worked there were all happy & very infomrative. they have a HUGE selection not to mention the most mermaid dresses i have seen in one spot. It was hard to choose from all the gown, however as soon as i put on the dress my grandma picked out i knew it was the one! They were caring & considerate & didnt rush you out of the store. They cared that you were happy 100% & not only about the sale. I recomended eveyone that gets engaged to go there as there is no where else better that them :)

We booked our wedding with only a few months so i didn't have the option of ordering a new dress. I went to Village Bridal because they had a large selection of Maggie Sottero Dresses and she was my designer of choice so I was hoping they would have the ones I wanted on the rack. I was also going to be 7 months pregnant at the time of my wedding so I needed a dress I could grow into and a shop that could accomodate me. Village Bridal gave me all of that. My sister and I went for our appointment on a Sunday, we met with Rachel, she was awesome, she pulled most of the dresses I had on my list and a few extras. She was great with me, got me into the dresses and out quickly (i am a no fuss bride) she finally pulled one that she thought I would like, it was also a maggie, I LOVED THIS DRESS! I was nervous though with my growing bump would it look good, and she re-assured me that it would, it was perfect! I bought it off the rack that day! they gave me a 20% discount for buying off the rack and the dress had only been in the store for a week so it was brand new! When it came time for alterations they were amazing, they accomodated me again for my growing bump, the seamstress was great with me and addressed all of my concerns. I really had a wonderful expeirence with them and would highly recommend the salon to everyone! Ask for Rachel she is the best. They did my bridesmaid dresses too and they were really good with all of my girls. Overall a top 10 experience!

When I bought my dress it was from Lidia's Bridal in Copiague, but now they have moved to Babylon Village in an all-wedding store. These women were wonderful, kind and helpful. I wore a Maggie Sottero dress.

The service at Village Bridals is amazing. I found my dress at another store but came to Village Bridals to order it. Got it at half the price (from $3,200 to $1,600) - my dress arrived four months later. They held onto it for over 6 months for alterations. The alterations were amazing. The lady there made my mermaid dress fit like Jessica Rabbitt. Loved her. Loved them. They gave my bridesmaids a 20% discount and any other accessories I wanted I got the discount too. Veil included.

I found my wedding dress at Village Bridal after looking in 4-5 bridal boutiques. The attendant we got was a bit dismissive even though we had an appointment and were the only customers in the store. She did listen to what I wanted though and after I tried on a few dresses, she knew exactly which gown to pull for me- and it was the one. I've had no problems dealing with them and they were very accommodating. They have a huge selection of bridal gowns from a variety of designers and in all price ranges. I had a small budget, and they had tons of dresses in that range. They also had a great selection of bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride/groom dresses. I did not do my alterations at the store, so I cannot attest to the quality of their alterations. Their cap on alterations and bustle was definitely on the lower end though, which was definitely a plus. Overall, I would definitely recommend this store to any future brides.

I purchased my gown and my bridesmaids gowns from here. We had such great experiences every time we walked in there. They were never pushy and always attentive. I gave them a 4/5 for flexibility because during busy season they were jam packed with appts and only did bridal gowns on certain days and bridesmaid gowns on other days, so it was difficult for my out of town girls to get an appt, so the only thing I would say is just make sure you give yourself 4-6 weeks to get bridesmaid alterations done. I would still 100% rec them! The service and alterations were great!

Great little boutique, with a great staff of girls. Very helpful and nice, and they have a great alteration woman there. I would definitly recommend checking this one out! They are located in the same location as dynasty limos but are not affilated with them thankfully!!!

Village Bridal was the second salon I went to, to try on dresses. I liked the laid back atmosphere and I didn't feel like I was being rushed to make a decision or I was "just a commission." The price range options they have are great. My dress was ~1,600, before tax and alterations etc. The only draw back was that they seemed a bit unorganized whenever I called and I would have to wait on hold for long periods of time or repeat myself. Also, I was originally given an "Alteration Cap" estimate, but my alterations end up being ~$75-100 over that number, which didn't really make sense. Overall, the dress I got was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! I can't even tell you how perfect it was and how perfectly it was tailored to my body. The seamstress who did the alterations was VERY knowledgable and talented. She was honest and flexible, and listened to all of my concerns. I would definitely recommend Village Bridal!!!!

I purchased my wedding dress here. The individual who helped me, Nicole, was excellent. The price of the dress was good. The younger seamstress was amazing, however the older seamstress was very unfriendly and would not listen to how i wanted my dress altered, that is the reason for the 1/2 star off, otherwise it was a pleasure dealing with the staff at this store.

I was about to enter my 5th bridal salon and I was getting very aggravated and disappointed with all the previous salons. From the second I talked to someone no the phone at Village Bridal to the day I picked up my gown, the girls were sweet, HONEST and friendly. The store is clean, lots of options available and fairly priced. The one and ONLY thing I didn't love was the cost of alterations. I got hit with a $650 alteration bill and I nearly fell over. I wish they would've given me a heads up that the alterations will cost almost as much as my dress! Other than that, I loved them and I was happy with my choice to use them.

Finding my dream dress here was a wonderful experience. I made an appointment a few weeks in advance and went to the salon with my mother. With the help of Bridal Village I said yes to the third dress I tried on, one that I did not select personally, but the staff chose for me based on the preferences and details I indicated I was looking for in my dress. Make sure you schedule an appointment before you go, a lady came in during my appointment to try on dresses but she didn't have an appointment. She was given space and a dressing room with access to a smaller floor length mirror. When the staff told her she couldn't use the large mirror (my mirror at the time) she was upset. I could understand why she didn't understand why she couldn't use the mirror when I was in the dressing room changing, but at the same time I appreciated that they made me feel extra special. That was my moment to be center stage and not have to share the spotlight. So, make sure you schedule your appointment, you will be glad you did.

Village Bridal was recommended to my by a friend of mine. She specifically said if I go there I need to make my appointment with Krissy. Krissy was absolutely amazing. We got my dress, my moms gown and my bridesmaid dresses with her. I tried on a bunch of A-line dresses which I liked but I explained to her that I wanted to try on some lace dresses that weren't mermaid but straight. She came back with a few dresses and in there was my wedding dress. My mom also made it clear to her that she didn't like blue or navy dresses. My mom tried on a bunch of dresses that were nice but she wasn't in love with any of them. Krissy came back with a dress and ask my mom to just do her a favor and try it on. My mom and I did not like the dress at all on the hanger and to top it off the dress was navy which is what my mom did not want. My mom did not want to try on the dress but she felt bad so she did. My mom came out of the dressing room and loved the dress. That ended up being the dress she wore. My only complaint was scheduling first fittings and pick up times for dresses. First fittings are only done 2 days a week and it was hard for us to get there with work because Babylon was 30-40 minutes away from all of us.

After searching long and hard I finally found my dream dress at Village Bridals! I had been to five stores (both chains and boutiques) and tried on 5-10 dresses at each store. Village Bridal had the best selection of all the stores I've been to. My consultant, Kelly, was FABULOUS!

I had called about 4 times about a swatch of my dress so I could shop for shoes. They kept telling it wasn't in yet but I never got it and don't believe they ever ordered it. My dress came in only 3 week before my wedding so alterations very rushed. They squeezed me in for the first fitting. They only do first fittings on Sundays which was strange. It was way too crowded. Waited 10 minutes to even be greeted by reception. Then 20 more before I could get into a fitting room to try on my dress. There were simply not enough fitting rooms or even chairs. The store seemed too small for the amount of people and dresses in there. They need an extension!

The seamstress who did my alterations was great. I couldn't believe how beautiful my dress looked with the French bustle she made. She even made alterations on the spot one week before my wedding because I live out of state.

They had a great selection of dresses. I would recommend giving this place a try.

Krissy was so wonderful to work with and helped me find the perfect dress! I was concerned finding the right dress because I am so short, but this didn't turn out to be an issue at all. After finding my dress, Krissy then helped to find a balero and veil to complete the dress. I am extremely happy that I chose Village Bridal and highly recommend them!! The only downside was their wait for each of my fittings. I had a specific appointment time, but waited each time- sometimes a half hour +. However, the alteration department did a fantastic job and my dress fit perfectly!!!

Make sure you work with Carol!

Got my dress there and worked with the owner Carol who is an absolute doll. This was the only dress shop I went to that really let me dive in head first to all the racks of dresses which I LOVED, I never trust that I am seeing everything I need to see when the sales consultant is pulling dresses. Alterations team did an amazing job adding custom sleeves to my dress on a tight turn around, though not very flexible on alterations appointments at all (which is why the time to do alterations was so tight). Bridesmaids got their dresses here too and the woman who helped with those was actually useless and then seemed exasperated when we started pulling dresses on our own because she was just standing there. Worth it because my girls all got 20% off since I bought my dress there, but I wouldn't recommend it without that.

What was wonderful was that they had the exact dress I was looking for. That was basically the only positive. The women who my bridesmaids met with when picking up the dress were rude and nasty. One of my Bridesmaid got pregnant and they made her cry by being mean to her when she needed to make alterations to her dress or get a larger dress. Also, I asked for a swatch of the dresses and they lost it. I had to ask them to reorder it and it took weeks, despite hearing from one of my bridesmaids that they had extra fabric for the dresses in the back.

Had problem after problem with Village Bridal from every one of the bridesmaid dresses to my dress to even the tuxedos. We were not compensated for anything but I will say that Julitta and Pharen were pleasures to deal with!

Shop elsewhere

I am aware that many bridal salons have poor reviews, given unhappy customers that are mostly likely to write them, however, I am here to write another bad review. The women running Village Bridal are extremely unprofessional for starters. Secondly, my girls dresses were very poorly altered - while they were supposed to be form-fitting, they were loose and long. One girl mentioned during her pick-up that the dress was larger in certain areas than she hoped, and the women literally replied “oh well - you will have to eat a lot in the next couple of weeks and hold you bouquet to cover that area.” Additionally, I had nine bridesmaids - and one bridesmaids dress was dyed the wrong shade even though they were all ordered in a group order to get - so the $10k+ that I spent on photos and videos were negatively impacted as one of my girl’s dresses did not match all of the others - it was really terrible. When the salon was informed of this error, they denied any fault. I could go on and on - but overall, please avoid using this store - they are poor in quality and service. I will end with one positive - given the number of women in my party - the salon was willing to price match a competitor and saved the women $40 per gown, however, in retrospect, I would have much rather spend the money elsewhere to have all the gowns ordered appropriately and color-match.

I was not impressed with Village Bridal. I had come from another salon and there was no comparison. When I walked in, I felt like The staff was dismissive. I had an appointment, but the lady at the front made me feel like I came in too late. I was 5 minutes early. The girl who helped me was very young and seemed very inexperienced. There was no personal connection and she didn't jump to help me feel comfortable. She seemed unsure of herself, which made me feel u sure about her. I felt like there wasn't a huge selection either. The dresses were pretty and I tried on the one I wanted. I would not buy from here however because the appointment left a bad taste in my mouth. They were not warm, accommodating or friendly. I suggest you look elsewhere. There are plently of other bridal salons on Long Island that gave me a much better experience. I was sorely disappointed. I had high hopes for Village Bridal

I have to admit, I’m very disappointed. I’m 32 days away from my wedding. Last night- I was in tears due to the alterations for my gown. The seamstress cut some of the dress a little too much. I was originally told I could switch seamstresses and told that I can’t now. I went into the salon, and the manager was nicer since I called the designer’s customer service team. I explained to her my concerns , and she was helpful in explaining how the tailoring is. Also- at time of purchase I was told I would be “capped at 250.00” for alterations and now I’m being told it’s an extra “180.00 for a bustle”. I was also told by the manager that she was waiving a “pin” fee of 75.00 to repin the dress because the bustle looked ridiculous. I’m disappointed that when they do alterations it’s in literally an attic with one long mirror in front, there is no mirror for you to see the back of the gown. When I went back today- I went into the salon because no one was there. I requested to be downstairs in the actual salon for the final fitting where there is better lighting and full length mirrors, I was told if there’s no other brides, they will see. It’s unacceptable how after you purchase a gown, you are quickly treated differently. They don’t call you when your gown is in, and it’s followed by that will be an extra cost. Also- when your gown comes in- they don’t even allow you to try it on before you make your final part of the 50 percent deposit. I am a pretty calm bride, and all the planning has been easy. However, this vendor messed up big time.

No wonder why they don't have an official company link on wedding wire - its because they don't care about their clients! I was lucky enough to find my dream dress at this store but if I had known the quality of service I would have purchased else where. Every time I walked in the place AFTER I bought my dress it was uncomforable. All the workers just sit around the reception desk and look at you like you have 10 heads. The day I found my dress it was an OK experience since other places treated me like a Queen. Then my dress was over 2 months late and I could never get a straight answer. Fortunately I had time before my wedding day and they did take off some $. Overall I would NOT recommend this place to purchase your dress. Their selection is great to look and try on, but purchase else where. The seamstress is so sweet and the only good expereince there!

completely misled with price.

I entered Village Bridal in March with a strict budget. Carol found me a great dress, off the rack, the exact amount of my total budget. I wanted an off-the-shoulder dress and she told me the seamstress could add them no problem! I was very clear to her that I could not be spending a lot of money on alterations, and since the dress needed to be taken in a lot, this was a big concern before purchasing. She affirmed that the alterations had a cap of $295, and I asked her again to be clear "the most I will be spending on everything including the added sleeves and ALL alterations will be $295" and she said yes! I was so excited to have a beautiful dress within my budget. Months go by and I had my first fitting October. When asking about the sleeves, they said I had to pay for the fabric, which would be hundreds from Pronovias. I was shocked because I thought the sleeves were already budgeted into my total price. They order the fabric, and when I go to the seamstress to get them added, she tells me that my dress is too low in the back to add sleeves! I had to laugh because I thought it must be a joke. Again, I stressed I only bought the dress to be off-the-shoulder, so she added the sleeves but told me I won't be able to move my arms/dance. Since I already purchased the dress, this is what had to be done, and she was right I can't move my arms. Close to $600 later IN ALTERATIONS, my dress is complete. OVER DOUBLE the amount originally stated, DOUBLE my budget and you could say not exactly my expectations. *The seamstress is very talented and nice, but was not informed. Additionally, the women working at the front desk are very rude and not welcoming.

The customer service was great but the seamstress completely destroyed my dress and screwed up the alterations on my bridesmaids' dresses. My bustle broke within 5 minutes of my reception. If you buy your dress here DO NOT have your alterations done here or you will risk going through the hell I went through days before my wedding.

I would never return to this salon. I recently celebrated my wedding and purchased a very expensive mother of the bride gown from this salon. The alterations and service were so horrific I walked out of there in tears. Just days before my wedding, I was forced to go to another seamstress to fix all the mistakes done at Village Bridal. They could not even sew a straight hem. A word to the wise; I would NEVER buy or have alterations done at this salon.

Awful, awful experience. If I were ever to give a recommendation for this place, it would be to avoid it as long as it is staffed the same. Also, the dress I ended up ordering was marked up there $60... (not a tragic amount, but still why mark it up???)

Long story short, I should have reemed them out personally but didn't as it is not in my nature, but I left that salon defeated and feeling bad about my body and self, no way a bride-to-be should feel wedding dress shopping. People/stores like this are in it for the money and not to give the purchaser a great experience while trying to plan one of the biggest and best days of their lives!! It's been awhile since this day happened and it still has me reeling... snotty girls at the counter, my attendant could have cared less - only really asked me my price point, and when she actually did pull dresses for me (that looked awful on and was telling me they looked beautiful) and told me maybe I should wait to dress shop since I wasn't liking her choices.... I was done. My full story is on yelp - i don't encourage anyone to go there.
