Beautiful garden wedding!
Villa Woodbine is truly one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Miami! It rained on our wedding day so we put up a clear tent and it truly felt like a fairytale with the string lights and droplets of rain. The staff at the venue was incredible and Sandra was an awesome venue coordinator to work with. I am still getting compliments about how great the food was and how beautiful the garden was!

12/28/23 Vow Renewal
We toured the villa 15 months before our wedding. This was the only venue my husband and I needed to see and it was an easy decision. Very Miami, very lush so it’s okay to keep your decor classic and elegant. The mansion is beautiful without the decor. Gipsy and the Villa Woodbine team were amazing. Extremely attentive to details, easy to communicate with, also amazing with my two children that joined us on our wedding day. It actually rained on our wedding day so we added a clear tent, which ended up making our decor sparkle even more and brought the whole ambience together.

A dream come true…
Villa Woodbine was the venue of our dreams; their professional and warm staff (shout out to Gipsy!) and skillful planning made our wedding planning experience incredible. It truly was our fairytale wedding because of them. The food by Bill Hansen catering was phenomenal, the location and venue are stunning, and the staff were so on top of making sure everything ran smoothly. We truly had the best night of our lives, and their gorgeous lawn and courtyard made for the perfect ceremony and reception. HIGHLY recommend to all :)

Miami Wedding at Villa Woodbine
Ever since we visited Villa Woodbine, we couldn’t imagine having our wedding reception anywhere else. We were lucky to find a Saturday available (2.5 years out from our engagement!) and even luckier to get to work with Gipsy. Gipsy was there for us every step of the way, and she made planning a wedding feel easy! This place is truly something out of a fairytale, and we couldn’t recommend it enough!

The Wedding of Our Dreams
Our wedding was everything we ever dreamed of and more! We were truly left in awe with how beautiful everything was, Valentina and Bill Hansen Catering were truly dedicated to making our vision come true and really cared about us having a wonderful time. The staff were always checking in the make sure my husband & I and our guests were happy and had what we needed. The Villa itself was absolutely beautiful and comfortable for our 118 guests. With Bill Hansen Catering executing the service with Villa Woodbine, it made planning so much easier! We highly recommend this venue if you want to have a romantic al fresco wedding like we did 🤍

Amazing Experience!
Villa Woodbine provided an amazing experience, great food/drinks, good DJ, perfect setup for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We also had a really great interfaith wedding officiant Rabbi Silverman who custom tailored our wedding ceremony to our liking to make it the perfect in all aspects (length, substance, etc.). This was a fantastic experience and the best day of our lives for my wife Nikki and I.

Exceptional Venue for Marriage Ceremony and Reception
We had our daughter’s wedding at this unique and beautiful venue. It was such a pleasure to have Ms Eden assist us with all the arrangements. She is a very delightful, patient and understanding person who worked with us throughout the entire process. The outdoor wedding ceremony and the follow-up reception turned out to be a blast. Everything was very meticulously arranged and the event turned out to be great success. The wedding stage, the reception, valet parking, bar, dinner, dancing, music, lighting and every other small detail was very well taken care of by Ms Eden’s team. Everything went so smoothly. All our guests were very happy and all of them complemented very highly on the site, the lighting and the décor. We are very indebted to Ms Eden for providing us such a lovely experience.

Villa Woodbine was our dream wedding location since the moment I saw it in photos. We were lucky enough to have Eden as our event planner. Coming from NYC and knowing good service, Eden is it! She is gracious with class, honest but kind, she is a problem solver and put the bride and groom 1st. She knows and understands her business and does it with integrity all while hold value to who she is and the business she stands for. Living in South Florida for 6 months now I have come across A-LOT of terrible service, what South Florida lacks is Eden. She deserves to be featured in magazines because they don’t make them like her anymore. Thank you Eden and Villa Woodbine for a dream come true. I am so lucky to have had you on our wedding day. Stunning Venue
Villa Woodbine is absolutely gorgeous and we cannot say enough how thrilled we were to get married there. As soon as we visited when initially looking at venues, we absolutely LOVED it and there really was no where better to host our wedding. Despite being on a major road through Coconut Grove, you would never know. Its tucked away and feels so secluded, but its so close to hotels, restaurants, and other things for our guests to do. It feels quintessentially "Miami" without going over the top. We could go on. Absolutely incredible venue.
I cannot put into words how amazing this venue is and how helpful the BHC team that you can book with Villa Woodbine has been. We had to move our wedding twice due to the pandemic and both times Eden and her team were sublime. So helpful, so kind, and unbelievably knowledgeable.
Last, the wedding is stunning! My wife and I got so many compliments on our wedding day and the pictures are breathtaking. I cannot recommend this place enough!

My husband and I just got married at Villa Woodbine this past weekend. From the first interaction we had with Eden and the venue we were so impressed and very well taken care of. The venue helps you with just about everything - flowers, vendors, food, alcohol, cigar roller, photo booth, deserts, midnight snacks... I chose not to get a wedding planner and thought I was able to do it all since the venue was so inclusive and helpful. I would def. recommend you to consider this gorgeous venue as I know all of my guest were blown away. It was truly a fairytale wedding for us.

amazing venue for dream wedding
Villa Woodbine had been a dream of mine for years and years. When the moment finally came for our wedding, I knew we had to have our wedding here. It was an absolute dream, from the venue to the staff to the food (oh my god the food!), it was more than we could have hoped for. We were looking for a place that didn't feel like a typical ballroom, that felt more intimate, homey, more like us. When my husband went to see the venue, it immediately took him back to his family's house in Spain - so we knew this was the one.

Villa woodbine is the most beautiful and magical wedding venue you can think of. It honestly feels like you’re in a different country. I got married in September 5,2021. Everything was so perfect from the begging I decided to get dressed in the second floor with bridesmaids. I had 11 girls and there than enough space. We brought food a no s snacks. Eden was my wedding planner abs shes was absolutely amazing. She helps from the moment you start until the day you get married. She makes sure the wedding planning process is smooth. I highly reccomend her. The food was perfect , the drinks are amazing. All my guest has such an amazing time !!!! Please please don’t think twice about getting married here !! You won’t regret it

We LOVED our wedding, and it's all thanks to our incredible event coordinator Eden. She was fantastic from day 1 and we knew she would be the one to make our wedding dreams come true. We later found out that we are neighbors, and when it came to the cake samples, she was so kind enough to drop the samples off when heading home.

Absolutely stunning venue! The greenery, fountain, everything is so unique and beautiful. We almost booked another venue but we had an appointment here and went not thinking we’d book. Most Romantic and best team everrrrr
So after touring so many venues, Villa Woodbine was the venue of my dreams. I met with Eden, for the initial tour visit and she was super sweet and of course made me even more excited about getting married there. As most know, it has been a challenge planning and organizing everything throughout a pandemic but Eden was there through it all. Thanks to her and her amazing team we were able to have our dream wedding. That day was to perfection and I could have not asked for a better team. There was great communication and the day ran smoothly. They were definitely very professional and knew what they were doing. They made wedding planning easy and on the special day I was able to enjoy every moment. Paradise Found
Well, it's been almost a week since my daughters wedding and I'm just coming down from the high! Where to start? My daughters wedding was supposed to be June 2020 in Malibu, CA. though we live in Miami :) Clearly, COVID did away with that. Enter Villa Woodbein. Upon walking in you are transported to a villa in Italy.. The vibe is amazing and you really feel like you're away. Our destination wedding felt perfect even though we were in the Grove. Besides the Venue being spectacular, we were then blessed with meeting Gipsy. This woman is a super hero! She truly does it all, and all the while keeping tabs on our budget. The food was delicious, the staff was professional, helpful and all COVID procedures were followed. I can't say enough about how we were treated.. Villa Woodbein has weddings or other events daily, (not on the same day! You have the Villa all to yourselves the day of) yet we were treated like we were the only people to ever have a party there!!
Check it out and you'll be scheduling your event there immediately. You won't be disappointed. It's paradise!! Thanks again to the whole team, especially Gipsy!

The most romantic venue in Miami
I know a lot of 2020 brides can share my story. Fortunately, I had Villa Woodbine to rescue my wedding! My original plan was an indoor wedding in April 2020, after postponing the date four times we decided to reduce the guest count and reach out to Eden at Villa Woodbine to reorganize an amazing outdoor wedding. I cannot thank her enough, she helped me reorganize everything in just two months. She is AMAZING, so sweet, professional, understanding, knowledgeable and willing to help you with anything you need, and trust me I am a very picky bride. There are no words to describe how beautiful and perfect my wedding day was. This location is truly magical and its team is so special which makes it unique (after dealing with very unprofessional people in other places you have no idea how grateful I am to have found Eden at Villa Woodbine). Also, regarding COVID, you can feel safe as they require all their team to be tested. Don't think twice and get married at this inimitable and romantic venue! Stunning, supportive & fabulous team & venue
I reached out to Villa Woodbine after facing the hard decision to change our wedding date and location due to Covid. As we changed from a destination wedding to a wedding in my home city, Villa Woodbine was very supportive & flexible with us during this time. I was immediately able to come to see the venue with my mom and we instantly fell in love. The Villa Team was so helpful in answering all our questions and let us know we can make our dreams come true there. As was the nature of planning a wedding during Covid, the Villa was re-assuring and very flexible with us with our guest count and every detail, small or large. Truly, the venue is stunning. It is luscious and does not need much decor as it is a natural beauty, however, we added bistro lights and a chandelier and got raving comments from guests. While this was not the wedding I originally planned, it was beautiful in every way. The planning was WAY LESS stressful due to the Villa's open communication and supportive team. It truly is a bride's dream to feel that everything is in control, and that you have a beautiful venue. I felt both those things strongly. Too, our guests raved about the Bill Hansen food- I cleaned my plate!
Our guests also loved the outdoor nature of the venue and were less concerned with Covid.
I HONESTLY stopped looking at venue's after stopping by the Villa. It is a gem.

Charming and intimate wedding venue
We chose Villa Woodbine for two reasons.
First, it's proximity and convenience to hotels in Coconut Grove and downtown Miami made it easily accessible. Second, it's just a gorgeous venue and we were captivated by the vintage charm during the tour.
Villa Woodbine is owned by Bill Hansen Catering (BHC) and provides an event producer for the venue. From the beginning, our event producer gave us a list of preferred vendors which was especially helpful since we're from out of state. Selecting vendors is already a daunting task and her list made the process much easier. A few months before the wedding date, the event producer we've been working with left BHC. This caught us off guard but she was very professional and made a smooth transition to her colleague which speaks volumes about the team at BHC.
The food at weddings can usually be hit or miss. Fortunately, both the food and service provided by Bill Hansen Catering was beyond exceptional. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the appetizers since we had to take pictures. If BHC offered a "takeout box" of the menu for the wedding couples, we would've gladly paid for it!
Overall, Villa Woodbine is a magical venue paired with Bill Hansen's world class catering and service. You'll be glad you got married.

Intimate Wedding 9/14/2020
My husband and I fell in love with Villa Woodbine (VW) from the start of our wedding planning journey. Though when we first inquired about pricing, the venue seemed too far out of our financial reach. We had begrudgingly moved on and stated looking elsewhere to host our wedding. However, this year (2020), VW started doing elopement and intimate wedding packages that fit perfectly for us. Once we found out about these packages, we contacted VW right away and ended up with the best coordinator anyone could ask for - Gipsy. She's as sweet and charmingly southern as could be! She guided us every step of the way and lead us two young and clueless kids to our dream wedding. Gipsy respected our decisions and never pressured us into something we didn't feel we needed. She made, what we though to be an financially unattainable dream a stunningly beautiful reality! After our wedding we had guests ask us who this petite southern lady was because they assumed by her behavior and by the things she did that day, that she was family! That's how Gipsy treats you! Just like family!

Where Do I Start?!
Where do I start? I don't have enough words to describe all the good things about Villa Woodbine and the Bill Hansen Catering team. Once we scouted the venue in late 2018, we knew it was the one. As locals, the location was perfect as we had ties to Coconut Grove.. and the space is absolutely stunning; so unique and historic. There were little signs and details that were odd coincidences to our relationship that kept pointing us there too. The entire planning process was smooth and anything but stressful. Eden and the team were always an email or text away, and could literally make any vision we had, or any personalization come to life. They allowed for your preferred vendors without any hesitation and had recommendations on vendors you were stumped on. The food was incredible - everything cooked to perfection. And the day of, the villa looked ridiculously magical. My vision came to life, and then some. A huge thank you to Eden and her team for helping us put it all together and absolutely killing it. A Vintage Fairy Tale
There is not a single corner of this venue that is not absolutely gorgeous. I wish I had more time for photos, because I could spend hours posing all over this property - and I hate having my picture taken. When you are in this venue, with the dress, and the hair, and the make-up, it makes you feel like you are in some fairy tale you read about as a little girl. The entire property is decorated with vines and flowers and trees outside and with the European tiles accenting the vintage look the inside, there is hardly any need for any additional decoration. AND Villa offers catering with Bill Hansen (YUM), tables, linens and tableware. Less decisions to have to worry about later, unless you want to upgrade. For a bride like me, who is overwhelmed by too many choices, this was perfect. The service was phenomenal, and I was impressed how everyone treated us like royalty. I definitely felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman AFTER she had Richard Gere's credit card.
Villa is the perfect setting for an intimate (100-150 guests) wedding that will give you all the photo opportunities and impress your guests. I might have to plan an anniversary party here.

I recently had my wedding at Villa Woodbine. This was a great place for me because they were flexible accommodating and understood my budget. Bill was the nicest guy ever. He called me personally to make sure things were good. Gen was my coordinator. She took over for another coordinator a week or two before my wedding. Of course that's frightening, but she was very good. It did rain so we had to move everything inside. I was disappointed but it was nothing the venue could do. All in all my experience was great! The one thing I am sad about is that I didn't get to enjoy any Hor Derves but I think that happens for most brides. The food is satisfying too!

Amazing and wow
I don’t know where to start! The moment I walked into villa woodbine I knew and my husband knew this was the place for us! We fell in love with the stone and the vines and just the outdoor feel of it all. Then we met our amazing planner Sandra and towards the end Soco and Danielle. All of these people worked so hard to make sure our day was amazing and went off without any problems. Our wedding day was magical really the amount of time and effort everyone put in and just how much they care made us feel so special. This venue is beautiful the food is amazing and the people are the best. Thank you guys for the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for us!

Eden was fantastic to work with. I can't say thank you enough! Without her and her team my wedding wouldn’t have been possible. It was exactly what I imagined and it turned out beautiful. She pays attention to detail and is so accommodating. Her vendor recommendations were also spot on. Working with her made the wedding planning experience easy and painless.

I cannot thank the team at Bill Hansen Catering enough!
We got married two weeks ago, and everything was perfect.
My husband and I visited Villa Woodbine 2 years prior to our wedding and knew instantly that it was the venue we wanted. The location is private, intimate and everything about the property and grounds gave us the most beautiful wedding.
When planning our destination wedding (which went on for two years), Eden was incredible. Her professionalism, attention to detail and help was wonderful, she helped me organize and plan out everything, and even when I sent her late night emails with concerns, she responded quickly and reassured me every step of the way. Even with last minute changes a few days before the wedding, she took care of it all for us.
Our on the day planner Liz was a joy to work with, she got it spot on. Their attention to detail is second to none. Their food is incredible, service is amazing and I cannot recommend Eden and the team enough. They exceeded every expectation in every single way.

Villa Woodbine exceeded my wildest expectations for the most romantic & beautiful wedding I could five my daughter! Bill Hansen's catering was beyond delicious, my guests were talking for days about the food; but his staff lead by Eden have customer satisfaction as their #1 top priority the venue was perfect and over flowing with plenty of places for guests to mingle & dance! And the planning time was painless as the staff handled all the details , no sweat! I am so grateful to Villa Woodbine for making our dream come true!

Villa Woodbine is an absolutely beautiful venue. We wanted a private wedding with a beautiful setting, and Villa was just the place. Eden was amazing during the planning process. She helped to recommend vendors, answered all my questions urgently and was very accommodating! We decided to use a day of coordinator as well and Brianna was a god send! She made sure everything ran smoothly on our day, coordinated the setup/cleanup of vendors, and stayed the entire night to make sure we got everything we needed. The food at Villa was great as well!! I had some picky eaters and they all said how great the food was from the appetizers to the main dinner. I am so happy i chose to get married at Villa!

I couldn't say enough good things about Villa Woodbine. If you are getting married in Miami, I don't know why you would consider any other venue. We had the pleasure of working with Eden Bauer and Christina Acosta. We live in Singapore, so planning a wedding from halfway around the world should be difficult, but they made sure it was anything but! Eden met with my sister-in-law initially who checked out the venue and came with a list of questions, she then met with us two other times before the wedding, and made sure everything was exactly what we wanted. Christina was a star, made me feel like an absolute celebrity. She took care of any issues that arose, and I didn't feel an ounce of stress the entire day. The venue couldn't be anymore beautiful - from the courtyard, to the bar area, dessert room, to the bridal suite, the tree, and the garden area, it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The food is out of this world good - my guests couldn't compliment it enough. We just did the tacos, tapas, and milkshake martinis stations - which seems simple enough - but it was anything but that! Great detail was given to every aspect of the food and drinks. I'm sure all the coordinators at the venue are great, but if I had the chance to work with Christina again, I absolutely would. She is organized, professional, and very kind of genuine. It was truly a fairytale day!

Working will Bill Hansen Catering was an absolute pleasure! We worked with Diego Suarez and it is difficult to articulate into words just how incredible he was! Diego and the Bill Hansen Catering team were communicative, enthusiastic, friendly and wonderful to work with. All of our needs and questions (I had many!) were taken care of, nothing was ever a problem. Leading up to the day we were in constant communication and we were confident that in Diego's hands, everything would run smoothly and we were right. Our wedding was beautiful, well organised and so much fun - Diego helped us with suggesting improvements and personal touches along the way and was an enormous help with everything from menu, budget, vendors, logistics and even took it upon himself to pick-up the kosher meals we ordered on the day of the wedding! Working with this phenomenal team put our minds at ease and all of our guests remarked on how beautiful our wedding was and how delicious the food was! Let me begin by saying, Kay Rivas from Bill Hansen Catering is a wedding guru/goddess. From the beginning, Kay was so involved in every detail of our wedding from how our tables should be arranged to what color of straws we should use in our specialty cocktail. We were planning our wedding in Miami from New York City, which could have proved to be extremely stressful. With the help of Kay, we were calm throughout the entire process. She was responsive, patient, calm, creative, resourceful, and an excellent decision maker. If I ever had a worry, she found a solution. I was worried that dancing outside in the courtyard of Villa Woodbine would be too hot and unbearable for our May wedding, and she found us an excellent outdoor cooling system that was extremely affordable. My father and I have severe food allergies, and she made sure was had a nut-free wedding and that I had wheat-free bread, which was delicious. No detail was forgotten. The food from Bill Hansen Catering was absolutely excellent at our wedding, but what I found so exceptional was the level of service and care that I received.

We recently had our wedding at Villa Woodbine and this venue is nothing short of magical. We worked with Diego from day one and he is of the nicest, most helpful people you will ever meet. He promptly responded to every e-mail and worked with us to ensure that everything turned out exactly as we had been dreaming of. The day itself ran perfectly thanks to the extremely professional and efficient staff. The personalized attention that you receive there and the skilled staff is worth every penny. The venue was absolutely breathtaking the day of the wedding. Once all the decor and flowers were setup, It was just magical. All my guest were pleased with all they're services. From the valet, to the welcome drinks, to the cocktail hour , and then Dinner. Everything was exceptionally great. The food was delicious. We partied all night long till our time was due. Everyone is very professional and ready to cater to you in any way possible to make your day come true. I'm very happy with the way my wedding turned out; unfortunately it rained on my wedding, BUT even so the staff, valet and everyone was there to help in any way possible to make it a great night. We moved to Miami one month before getting engaged. Needless to say I was absolutely clueless about wedding venues down here but had a specific vision of what I DIDN'T want, a hotel banquet hall wedding. I wanted our big day to be somewhere beautiful, outdoors, and charming. I wanted it to photograph like a dream. I wanted the food to be outta this world, which usually means in-house catering and a kitchen on-site.
Enter Villa Woodbine.
After scouring the web for Miami wedding venues I had very little choices with such tough requirements, but Villa Woodbine seemed to fit the bill. On paper it had everything we needed. I didn't waste our time with any other venue and we signed and put a deposit down for our big day on the spot.
As it turns out this venue is an institution in the area. We've met a fair amount of people who have called Miami home for decades and they either got married there, attended a wedding there, or just knew it's a gorgeous place in the Grove. Score!
I'm a more hands-on bride than most but the Villa embraced my neuroticism and frequent emails. Amanda is a pro; her enthusiasm and bubbly energy kept the process exciting. Bill Hansen of Bill Hansen Catering is a pretty great dude and he should be proud of the team running this place. I was specific about my food menu (we did Sunday brunch) and they knocked it out the park. We had specialty cocktails that came out deliciously; I even have guests asking for the recipes. I hired a day-of coordinator and was blessed with Christina. I had a TON of details and she handled every single one of them- brides, spend the money on her because she is worth EVERY penny.
My wedding day was perfect. I'll forever remember the delicious food, our lovely signature cocktails, the way the sun shone through the beautiful trees, how happy my friends and family were, and this special place. It was everything we hoped for and more. Thanks, y'all!

Villa Woodbine is our magical place. My husband and I call it our place because we truly felt special. There was no commercialized feel to Villa Woodbine (which you often get in other hotel/country club venues). I found this location after searching blogs. Words to describe it: ROMANTIC, VINTAGE, UNIQUE, A SECRET GARDEN, GLAMOROUS. (everything that i envisioned) I worked with Shaneil who was extremely helpful and prompt in responding to emails. I had many changes throughout planning and they were flexible. The FOOD WAS DELISH. We had the clear tent with chandeliers- BEAUTIFUL. You can also bring your own vendors- BIG PLUS. Although there are noise ordinances, our music was perfect, definitely loud enough so dont worry. Thank you Bill Hansen, Shaneil, and team for a perfect wedding.

Villa Woodbine and their staff made my day absolutely magical. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with. I live in California and was so pleased that they were able to work so well with me via email and phone. When my husband and I first walked into the venue we looked at each other and said, “this is it!” we didn’t look at another location. The food was absolutely to die for and the ambiance couldn’t have been better. Because we lived in California I struggled with finding some vendors since I didn’t have many chances to get down to Miami. My sales rep Lindsey was able to provide me several options in all the areas that I needed. All of those that I chose turned out to be great to work with. When going to through the process of creating the wedding event with Lindsey, she made it very clear that this was our day and that we could make it what we wanted. Never once did we feel pressured to go another direction. Once the day finally came it was my day of coordinator Christina who really made it go as smoothly as possible. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married at and would recommend the venue and staff to anyone that is getting married in the area.

If you're looking for a spanish villa theme this is the place to go. Bill Hansen and his staff members were very helpful and provided us with one of the best services you can ask for. Catering company is on site and the food was amazing. Every one of our guests enjoyed the food and services that were provided to them. Overall a great romantic place to plan your wedding day. Recommend this place to future brides, you will not be disappointed.

From the moment we walked into Villa Woodbine it took a breath away. My husband and I knew right then and there that this venue was going to be the place that we chose to celebrate our special day of marriage. The venue was so breathtaking the service was impeccable the food was so mouthwatering to this day our family is still talking about how amazing from beginning to and everything was. The only thing that was more exceptional than this venue, Villa Woodbine, was the catering staff of Bill Hansen Catering (www.billhansencatering.com). My handsome groom and I could not have dreamed of a more well-organized, delicious and fun filled service from the extraordinary staff. The feed back that we got from our guests was that it was one of the best, if not the best wedding they had ever been to; Their table staff made them feel like our royal guests, and the food and drink was exceptional. The delivery of each part of the day was orchestrated like a finely tuned ballet, from the setting up of the gorgeous outdoor wedding stage (set up outside "in the round" in the breath-taklng back courtyard) to the final coffee, tea and dessert service. We are so grateful to Bill, Shaneil, Adam, Jerry and their talented staff for making our day not only extraordinary, but unforgettable. We would recommend this venue and Bill Hansen Catering to anyone looking for a top class, yet down to earth affair.

Must admit it was my fault and I am still amazed to this day it turned out as wonderfully as it did.
Shaneil was my point person. The villa is a professionally run establishment that is used to banging out events regardless of how organized the bride herself is. They make it easy: have a linen book with high end linens to pick from, worked with whichever vendor I choose after ok-ing them (not a big deal- they just need to know who the people are) and the day of: everything runs smoothly and flawlessly courtesy of the team.
EVERYONE raved about the food, the drinks and the ANA PAZ cake was to die for. Up in the bridal suite, the brought us a pitcher of mojito and the rooms both upstairs and downstairs adjacent to the courtyard lend an intimate, homey feel to the venue.
A lot of things got delayed (ceremony started late due to the officiant) but they just kept ushering me from one portion of the night to the next in a way that all desired events (speech, cake cutting, etc) were done. This is what a wedding planner helps you do and Shaneil just knows how to move it all along and keeps her cool while doing it.
As for the venue itself: The location comes alive in the evening. I couldn't have been happier with the ambiance. The pictures they have up on their website just dont seem to capture the beauty and romance this place evokes when you are there during the wedding.
It rained buckets and I was bummed about the tent until I saw it: gorgeous clear tent with two beautiful crystal chandeliers. That is the only caveat to an outdoor wedding when you have no real plan B other than tent...at least rest assured that the tent will NOT take away from the beauty (which was my initial concern-not to lie).
Many of my friend still say it was one of the most special, beautiful wedding settings. Truth be told- the place brings it all...your friends and family have a lot to do with it as well...and all things worked out our night! Hope this helps

My wedding had a "Forces of Nature" moment causing my center pieces to fall over prior to guest seating! Eden was able to improvise immediately with new centerpieces! A Truly Magical Venue
Villa Woodbine was an absolutely magical place to get married. There is something about this venue that is so peaceful and romantic; I did a lot of venue comparisons, and I couldn't find another place that was quite like it, in the budget that I had. We worked with Genevieve, who is so sweet, patient, & helpful! I highly recommend checking the venue out in person. They have everything you need in terms of food, decor, entertainment, etc.

We recently celebrated our daughters wedding at Willa Woodbine. It was absolutely magical. The experience starting last spring to the date of the wedding was very easy and staff was most accommodating. Our sales person, Ashley Morales, was wonderful. She immediately instilled a sense of warmth, and caring. She was quick to respond, engaging, and professional.
The venue is lovely, the food was very good and staff was very service oriented.!

GORGEOUS venue and professional staff. We mostly worked with Sandra--by far the best person to work with from the entire wedding process. Her organization and great personality made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We loved that the venue and catering were a package service. Only advice...look through the fine print/contracts/taxes VERY closely. There were some unexpected extra costs that you'll need to consider. Well worth the price tag, not bad for Miami area at all actually. Our guests were in awe the entire time and we felt so comfortable and taken care of at the Villa. Plus, the food was AMAZING. They'll work with you to customize the menu to your budget and taste. Highly recommend!!

We just had our wedding here, and we couldn't' have been happier. The location in Coconut Grove was ideal, and the Villa itself is charming, romantic, and intimate. Our guests thought it was beautiful. At night, the lights on the trees in the backyard were so beautiful - which is one of the reasons we wanted to get married there. The Staff is a pleasure to work with, very responsive and get back to you quickly with any answers on your questions, etc. I also liked that it was easy to plan with them, as Bill Hansen Catering manages the property so you don't need to go and rent tables, chairs, etc. It's all included - which made our lives so much easier. The food is excellent and our guests were raving about it all evening. It's also nice to be able to use the bridal suite to get ready during the day and to be able to use to freshen up during the event. It was a dream wedding for us and we couldn't more thrilled that we got married there!

After an extensive internet search of "outdoor, south florida, NOT beach" my now husband and I saw the villa and signed without looking any further. The place is beautiful, elegant, and quaint all at once - perfect for our 150 ppl wedding. The food was much better than I anticipated, and even my picky Peruvian parents were pleased. They managed to make a good ceviche! Our wedding angel is Christina - consider booking a day of coordinator MANDATORY because she did exactly as promised and let us be guests at our own wedding. We didn't decorate or talk to vendors that day or get our own food or go one second without a drink or freak out when it started to rain (no, there is no plan B, and yes, the weather channel is borderline useless.) I would do my wedding again at the villa a thousand times over, it was exactly what we envisioned for our rustic chic wedding.

Stunning, romantic, classy
If you’re searching for a romantic, sophisticated, historical garden as your wedding venue, look no further than Villa Woodbine. Villa Woodbine was everything we wanted in a venue and more! It provides the perfect backdrop for an enchanting wedding. The house has an old Spanish architectural design and is right off South Bayshore Drive, conveniently located less than a mile from Coconut Grove, but you would never know because as soon as you go up that driveway you feel like you are transported to Miami in the 1920s or old world Europe. Villa Woodbine is stunning during the day - sunlight fills the courtyard and highlights the stunning bougainvillea and fauna around the house - but at night, the Villa is pure magic. The string lights light up the entire back lawn and paint a perfect scene of what a romantic wedding should look like. We chose to have our ceremony in an unconventional part of the lawn with jungle greens as our backdrop and could not be more happy with how everything turned out. Our guests could not stop raving about how stunning it was!
In addition to the Villa itself, we cannot say enough great things about the food and the customer service of the VW staff. The food is incredible. You will not be getting standard wedding food here - this is high end restaurant quality. Not only is it the best wedding food we’ve ever had, but the Bill Hansen Catering staff worked with us to create a unique menu based on anything we desired. We chose two of their classic stations, the Cuban and the Fire and Ice, but we also made our own station based on our travels to France, Spain, and Thailand. They absolutely nailed it and the green curry with rice was one of the best rated items on our menu! They were extremely flexible in working with what we wanted. Our one complaint with the venue was based around the rescheduling of dates since we had to reschedule twice due to the pandemic. They gave away a date that we had reserved. However, the staff took full responsibility for their mistake. In the end, we chose a Monday wedding date and the staff made even more of an effort to make it feel like a Saturday night. As the bride, I chose to get ready with my bridesmaids at the Villa in the bridal suite where we had our own access to the balcony overlooking the courtyard and back lawn. I could not have been happier to spend the day getting ready at Villa Woodbine and being able to take full advantage of our venue. We didn’t want the night to end and cannot recommend Villa Woodbine enough!

Beautiful venue
We loved the venue, it was just what we were looking for in terms of appearance and they really saved us when we lost our first venue. We had an awesome experience and all of our guests were in awe of the views and the food. There were just a few hiccups to note... we had to go through many people which may be normal but I did not like having 3 different contacts to tell things to and they all ended up with different info or answers. On our wedding day after finalizing all things with the venue with Lissette (whom we never saw and apparently switched to Ann day of which concerns me as well), we were missing Our “Mr.” welcome drink of Flor De Cana and fresh mango juice, the rum we chose for the bar was never purchased and my coordinator had them go get it, the dried mangoes on the salads was missing completely, and the rectangular sweetheart table we asked for was the half moon which didn’t go with my garland made by my florist specially for the 6 ft rectangular one we asked for. This was all verified on our final meeting so it was a bit sad that it wasn’t communicated properly to the staff running it that day. They rectified the welcome drink immediately and ran out and bought the rum we had asked for. Communication could have been better And more consistent as we also ended up with an event manager we had never met before, it was not the one we met with on our final meeting who promised to be running things day of. On occasion our invoices were incorrect which concerned me and worried us as it was not consistent and prices kept rising. Other than that food was great, everyone loved it! They brought the groom and I a plate of anything we asked for if we were too busy to eat it, and sent us home with two boxes of desserts which was great and left the extra desserts in the dinning room and people really went to town on them. Delicious!!!!! The service day of was top notch though. The bartenders were super fun and seemed to enjoy their job which I loved. The servers were so nice and always asked me if I needed anything. Our guests had an absolute blast and loved the vibe of the venue and kept saying how beautiful and nice it was there. They are still talking about it! Regardless of the heat we had an amazing time and really enjoyed ourselves! Didn’t stop dancing all night. Thank you again Villa Woodbine for an amazing event!! And thank you Valentina!!

This venue is absolutely gorgeous! We stumbled across this gem when researching venues for our destination wedding in Miami, FL. The venue offers a private setting that feels like home but with an old, rustic Spanish twist. If you love the architecture of Viscaya, this venue offers a more reasonably priced and intimate alternative. FYI, Viscaya and Woodbine were designed by the same architect. Some features we fell in love with:
- Courtyard with a fountain - we had our ceremony there.
- Spanish tiles on the steps - gorgeous for photo shoots
- Rustic/antique furniture and a Chihuly chandelier
- Garden - we used this space for the reception but it could easily be used for the ceremony. A gorgeous space!
This venue was everything we wanted and more. Guests were so impressed with how beautiful everything came out and are still raving about it. I'd highly recommend!

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful this past weekend! Amanda and Christina were both accommodating and made sure that my husband and I had all that we needed/wanted throughout our entire day. The moment we got there for our reception Christina and her assistant had food waiting for me in the bridal suite prior to pictures being taken. They make sure the bride eats lol! Was a perfect evening <3

The venue is absolutely beautiful! Several guests told us that it was just an unforgettable night. The place is even more beautiful at night with the lush greenery, romantic lights. If you are looking for an intimate, romantic venue - THIS IS IT! Prices include open bar, which helps out a lot! The wedding director is fantastic.

Beautiful venue, food was delicious, the staff was very helpful, and there were many options. All my guests raved about the wonderfully quaint but elegant "feel" of the wedding, which was what I hoped for! Thank you!
