ViewPoint at Buckhorn Creek is a unique venue in the Upstate. It is a bit disjointed so guests can roam and explore the property but we absolutely loved the space it offered and the beautiful grounds. Steve the owner was exceptionally helpful on our day of (with a chance of rain) and helped navigate multiple backup plans.

The interior Is well decorated with great taste and necessities to make your day more comfortable. The exterior is so beautifully layed out you hardly need any decor to enhance this
outdoor venue at all. Great place for a fancy or backyard style wedding. You won't be sorry for choosing this venue. Steve is awesome to work with and can help you on making some decisions. ❤

We got married on a Saturday in late October of 2020 at the Viewpoint. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. There are separate lounges for the bride and groom to get ready, with kitchen access. The ceremony overlooks the mountains (viewpoint), and this is one of many views. The area for cocktail hour is spacious with plenty of seating. There is a separate dining area which we used and comfortably fit our guests (with some let over room for the first dance). Just note that if you want this area covered, you will need to rent your own tent. After dinner, we headed to the dance floor. We cannot stress enough how much fun this part of our night was, and a big part of this is the environment that Steve has set up. This consists of a sizeable, covered pavilion with a great speaker set-up. When the sun went down the venue really lights up as the whole garden area has beautiful strung lights and many guests enjoyed sitting around the firepit. I can’t think of a more beautiful wedding venue, the property is truly gorgeous!

Steve’s great character showed throughout the weekend. A tropical storm had knocked out power to the entire region on Thursday night, and power was not expected to be restored until the day after our wedding. Steve immediately went ahead and rented generators for us which he set up promptly. Fortunately power came back Saturday morning, but the whole ordeal gave us confidence that Steve will do whatever it takes to make our wedding weekend happen the way we want it. Throughout the reception, he also helped us set up chairs and move things around when needed, brought out heat lamps when it got chillier, lit the bonfires, and just overall did a fantastic job. Steve was also very flexible in letting us choose the time for our rehearsal and general set-up, which was very appreciated since most of our wedding consisted of out-of-state guests which was difficult to coordinate. We would recommend Steve and this venue 10/10.

Steve was so easy to work with and responded to all my (many) questions quickly! The venue was really spectacular and was perfect for our laid back, outdoor wedding.

Steve is the owner of the property and he is so responsive to calls/emails and is so kind! He met up with my wedding planner multiple times, along with Professional Party Rentals, to make sure the layout of the place was exactly what we needed. This was super helpful, since getting married in Greenville, SC was a destination wedding for us. If you have any extra request, don't be afraid to ask Steve. I felt that because it was privately owned, it made communication so much easier. We also met his wife and she is so sweet. We were able to build a good relationship with them. They keep their private garden property well-kept and it felt like a secret/enchanted garden... exactly what I dreamt of! Also, you can't beat the mountains in the background

Steve and his wife went above and beyond on everything. They were consistently available to answer questions and flexible with scheduling meetings and appts to view the venue again. The venue was reasonably priced and is even more beautiful than any photos can depict. Steve was very professional and helpful with the planning process and with setting up chairs and tables. We were originally setting up tables on Saturday but after rehearsal friday evening decided we wanted to pre decorate all of the tables. Steve graciously set the tables up for us right then and there. He was consistently helpful and never made us feel like we were a bother or inconvenience. I will definitely be recommending this venue to anyone who is looking to get married in Greenville!

There are not enough nice things that I can say about our experience working with Steve throughout the process of preparing for our wedding day. He was extremely professional, responsive, and helpful no matter what we needed. His calm, reassuring personality helped us keep our minds at ease as the stress began to build in the final few months of planning.

On to the venue. Take a look at the photos for this place and believe me when I say that it is every bit as beautiful as the pictures suggest. There are so many cool areas for guests to explore, and plenty of choices for your ceremony and reception locations. Second to marrying my wife, showing my friends and family around this beautiful wedding venue was my favorite part of the day. It is truly amazing.

This venue is breathtaking! The views, grounds and house are just amazing. It was perfect for our rehearsal dinner and wedding day! Our guests were blown away at how beautiful this venue was. The owners have created the perfect space for anyone wanting gorgeous panoramic mountain views in a garden setting for their wedding. The owner Steve couldn't have been better to work with. He helped out so much and was so accommodating to every request we had. Our day started off rainy and Steve went above and beyond to help with the small last minute details and change of plans due to the weather. Rain or shine it was a perfect day and everyone had a blast! We will never forget our special day at this beautiful location.

We both wanted to be married here before we even met and it became a dream come true! The best and most beautiful place to get married!!

Steve (the owner) really goes out of his way to make sure everything goes off without a hitch at your wedding. Any time we needed something he would try and find it for us. The venue itself is so beautiful you really don't need many decorations. Many of our guests complimented the venue and couldn't believe we could find a place like this! We loved getting married here. The views are beautiful and the foliage was perfect. Hopefully one day we can renew vows or have another party here! :)

The Viewpoint at Buckhorn is an amazing little gem in Greenville. The views and grounds are beautiful and well kept. Everything you need to have a wonderful wedding ceremony and reception is available. We used the venue for the Rehearsal dinner, Bridal Luncheon, Wedding. and Reception for our daughter's wedding and could not be more pleased with the weekend. Steve is on site the entire time and was so easy to get along with and accommodating. There are several locations on site to have the ceremony and/or reception. There are beautiful teakwood tables for the reception, a bar area for serving drinks, a koi pond, a covered pavilion for dancing and a sweet little cabin. There are areas for both the groomsmen and bridal party to hang out and get ready during the day. I highly recommend you check out this venue before you book. If you desire a garden wedding then you will not be disappointed with VP.

I really don't know why anyone would want to have an outdoor wedding at any venue that isn't the View Point at Buckhorn Creek. The views are amazing, the grounds are gorgeous and well kept, there are unique touches all over the place, and the owner is beyond patient. My wedding was everything I dreamed of and I had to do very minimal decorating since the venue itself is so beautiful and interesting. There are already flowers and trees everywhere so not much else was needed. It was cold the weekend of my wedding but with the heaters, fireplace, and fire pit, everyone was able to keep warm. Guests are always telling me that they've never seen such a beautiful wedding venue and I have to agree with them 100%!

Steve with Viewpoint at Buckhorn Creek was awesome to work with. He was very flexible with anything we needed from a hot glue gun to stones to hold down fabric for our ceremony site. This venue is simply the best with amazing mountain views. He has turned his back yard into the best venue in Greenville. It's the little things he's added that has made his venue one of a kind. I would recommend this Vendor to anyone looking for a Garden wedding.

Viewpoint at Buckhorn Creek is the biggest bang for your buck! We loved the space and the layout, the place has tables and chairs for 100 people, 2 location options for the ceremony, a seperate enterance for the food vendors to enter and access easy, a brides dressing room with a full size mirror and bathroom, a grooms dressing room with a pool table big screen tv and bar area with a bathroom, a covered pavillion with two handicap accessible restrooms, and the most beautiful mountain view and koi pond with gigantic orange koi fish! Getting married there was a dream!!

I can't begin to explain how beautiful and amazing this venue is! Steve and team do a great job at keeping this venue up and it looked incredible for our wedding reception. I looked at several locations in and around the Greenville SC area and after looking at this venue first it set the bar leaps and bounds above any of the other venues I checked out. Every single guest at the reception couldn't stop commenting how awesome and beautiful the venue was and how much they wish they would've known about this place when planning their wedding/reception. If you're looking for a great outdoor venue I would highly recommend Viewpoint as we truly had a great and unforgettable night!

Steve and Beth Garrett have the most beautiful location any bride could possibly want in a ceremony & reception venue! Not to mention that they a). ALWAYS returned calls within 2 hours b). were extremely accommodating throughout the year prior to our wedding, and (unless they had an event scheduled the day in question), were always more than willing to open the venue to us every time we had to bring another vendor or had yet another question about the space (as brides always do...). We were so impressed with The Viewpoint that, the day after our wedding, we decided that our 10 year anniversary "party" would be held there, and any events in the meantime!

The View Point at Buckhorn Creek is absolutely stunning. Our guests spoke about how beautiful the location is. The koi pond, the look out, the gazebo, it’s just all maintained so well and cared for. Very reasonable pricing and Mr. Garrett is so kind and pleasant to work with. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a smaller, outdoor wedding!

We absolutely loved the venue, it has so much to offer, so many great views and areas to enjoy. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the place was. Steve is so helpful and attentive; you can tell they love this property/venue and take such great care of it.

Steve at View Point was helpful throughout our planning process. His place is absolutely gorgeous and was exactly what we wanted. Along with this, the price was great for the value of the venue. When it started to rain on our wedding day, Steve helped us get everything changed to our backup plan and also offered to allow us to stay an extra hour when our wedding was postponed due to the rain. If you're looking for an outdoor, rustic venue that is filled with natural beauty, you need to check out this venue.
