Mike was awesome to work with from the start. He was very accommodating with our last minute venue change due to COVID. Easy to communicate with and very reasonably priced. Not to mention he was so much fun and a blast to have as part of our wedding day! Would highly recommend -

Beautiful!
Wow. We just got our wedding video back from Mike and we are in love. I cried the whole time I watched the five minute summary. It was beautiful. He was there the entire wedding and got so many amazing shots. Would highly highly recommend! -

Good wedding video footage! Recommended!
Mike captures a lot of various footage. His pricing is fair compared to others and you get a video of the whole day, not just snip its. Mike was easy to work with. We enjoyed watching our wedding video. -

Outstanding Videographer
Mike and his team did an outstanding job documenting my wedding. I reached out to him approximately two months in advance which was cutting it close, but I am very fortunate that I was able to secure his services for my big day. The wedding day packages he offered were very reasonably priced for what was offered, and I really felt that it was a lot of bang for the buck. Mike and his team were very innovative in capturing every moment of the big day, and were very professional and personable otherwise. I would highly recommend Video Memories for a wedding day or big celebration! -

Captured the Moment: Personalized Service
Mike was fantastic! During our first phone call I could tell that I was dealing with someone that was going to give me and my fiancé the experience we wanted for our wedding. During the first call, he took the time to explain everything to me regarding videography, he got to know what was important to us for our wedding, and he also gave me a taste of some Syracuse history! I knew we would get along. He was super easy to deal with, easy to get in touch with, and was always willing to meet me in convenient locations for meetings about contracts and payments. It was great to be able to see so much of his previous work on YouTube to get ideas and see what we wanted. He customized our package without any issues and charged a very fair price for our customizations. If you are looking for extra coverage such as a rehearsal dinner, he is your guy!!! He doesn’t heavily edit the wedding coverage so you get the full video and it feels “real”, which was one of my requirements! That is something not many people do these days. The drone sneak peak was super cool. I know this is a weird thing to say if you have never been married before, but Mike was very respectful and didn’t ask me a million questions the day of. A few of my other vendors had not prepared fully and therefore had issues that needed dealing with the day of which was stressful for a bride. Mike, however, was fully prepared, professional, and efficient during all of the festivities. I was stressed at one point and he never lost his professionalism. He let my stressful moment pass and then got some great shots. As far as product quality is concerned, he was also awesome. During the wedding day he got coverage of all the special moments we had talked about. The video of our wedding parade (google New Orleans Wedding Second Line if you are curious) could not have been better. He got a shot of everyone’s face, the brass band, myself and my husband! It was phenomenal the way he filmed it (if he posts it on YouTube, you should watch it). I felt like I was in the parade again. It was cool because during the wedding I was in the front of the procession, but with the video I get to have the guest experience as well. He was so kind after the wedding and I am glad that he stayed to tell us bye. He got everything done in a reasonable timeframe and also met me in a convenient location near my job for delivery. Overall, Mike did an excellent job and I recommend him. -

Simply Amazing
Mike was incredible to work with. From our very first conversation, I knew he was going to handle everything professionally and capture every aspect of our wedding with great detail. His work is simply breathtaking and he’s able to capture everything while being discreet- I forgot he was even there most of the time! Exceptional experience all around
Mike Marano videotaped our wedding 31 years ago and since we were so happy with our video we hired him to do our daughters wedding in Sept of 2022. The entire experience was great. He is professional and the final product was outstanding! Definitely recommend! -

Dynamic Duo
Mike Marano has been a videographer for weddings for over 30 years and practically pioneered the field. He was so familiar with the venue and has worked with our photographer at so many weddings they worked perfectly in sync. He was the man behind the scenes making sure to capture our special moments while making himself invisible at the same time. He had an assistant with him that helped make sure he was able to capture footage via drone as well as on the ground during the ceremony. He has a great sense of humor and was truly a pleasure to work with. We can't wait to see how it all comes out! -

May Wedding 2022
Mike and his assist were very professional and able to capture all of the wonderful memories from our special day!
My husband and I even got a kick out of all his fun transitions throughout the event.
He was always available for me to reach out to and make adjustments with our day moving and our venue shutting down! (Thanks COVID) we are very appreciative for everything and love watching our movie !!

Will travel all over NY!
Mike traveled to my hometown of Watertown, NY. He went to my parent's house where we got married, then to the reception another 25 minutes away. He used drone footage, multiple cameras, and made sure to catch all the moments. If you are looking for a videographer that will travel for a good cost, use him! -

Easy to work with and very high quality product!
Mike was really easy to work with and required very little guidance to capture out event and produce outstanding videos of the ceremony and the reception. He thought of everything without being told. The videos are very high quality. We had live singers and he captured the music and their voices perfectly! Love that he incorporated drone footage, too. We're very happy and highly recommend him. -

So happy we hired Video Memories
Mike was very professional and so easy to work with. He captured everything that I requested. He didn’t miss anything during the ceremony or reception. The drone footage was truly amazing. Capturing footage from above was spectacular. We looked at other videographers and they did not have the quality or experience as Video Memories. Their prices were very reasonable. We went with the higher package that included photos of my husband and myself growing up together and dating. This was so endearing. It made our parents cry. Exactly what I wanted

I was married in September 2019, My future in-laws were going to hire another wedding videographer.... for way more money and less experience. Mike from Video Memories is not only Central NY’s first wedding videographers, he is also a television professor at Cayuga Community College....He knows his stuff, and it showed in our wedding Video! It was amazing!! I’m glad I did not listen to my mother in-law, lol.. thanks Mike for your great memorable video, 4K quality is outstanding! And the drone option gave us an unbelievable view from the air! So happy we had Video Memories! -

I was the Mother of the Bride. I am absolutely thrilled with the finished product. It exceeded my expectations. The ability to have this video memory is priceless. I have already watched it numerous times and I know there will be many more viewings ahead. The price that was paid was excellent value for the product, allowing it to fit into the budget. My Husband and I checked all over the area and the internet for videographers, I could not believe Video Memories offered the best quality and price! So convenient
I booked my daughter's wedding last minute, I searched wedding wire and saw Video Memories and thought, hey why not?
I talked to Mike, the owner, and he immediately told me he was open for the day, but he informed my he takes paid interns from his college to not only show, but teach his ways to them take multiple shots and help them succeed. I hesitantly accepted his offer since it was cheaper through his interns. I was afraid, but to my surprise, the video was immaculate; A lot of cries, a lot of laughs, he definitely has a "videographer''s eye." I was so impressed I would recommend him to anyone, he even worked out my payment method's when the wedding got close, and our budget got tight. Thank's so much, I sent my niece toward you, you'll hear from her soon!! :) -

Hands down the best videographer! I used him to film my proposal I planned for my (now) wife and then again to do my wedding! I would have never thought to have a videographer for my wedding had I not used him for my proposal. He did such a good job that I couldn't imagine not having him for my wedding. It can be stressful trying to find a good Videographer and finding a good one is so important! I am so glad my husband and I found Mike! He was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. He answered all of my questions and made everything stress free and very convenient for us. On our wedding day Mike was on top of everything from the Church to the reception and we didn't have to tell him what to do once! We received our video in a very timely manner and it was just perfect! He captured all of the memories that my husband and I will cherish forever! I am only giving this full stars so everyone can see this. Hired Mike to do our wedding, he was completely hard to get to leading up to the wedding. Told us he would be sending an assistant to do my preliminary filming and he would come and film the ceremony and reception. He never showed up to fiim anything. Half if the time the kid filming was playing on his phone and taking pictures with it. I requested some of our video to be in vintage style, it wasn't. Video looks like it was shot in very low quality. There is music in the back round of the whole video, we were never asked what songs we would like. A few pictures on there that are not from my wedding. For our formal introductions he left out both sets of parents. He did not include any of our reception in the video, just our cocktail hour. Very displeased with this service. Will never hire Mike or reccomend in for anything. -

Mike Marano, at Video Memories, was wry easy to work with and provided us with all of the most important memories of our special day! We recommend using his company if you want quality and professionalism, as that is exactly what we received! He also explained to us that this is his passion and career and that many bride/ grooms get sucked into spending thousands of dollars on their wedding videography; while it simply doesn't have to drain your wedding budget to secure quality videography. My husband and I have recommended him to friends who are using his service, this year, after seeing our wedding video! Five- star rating, all around! -

The amount of attention to detail that mike and his crew took was fantastic. They were able to capture the big day in such a way that you could relive the day and feel how you felt. Mike was extremely accommodating through the entire process and was nothing but professional, courteous and forthright. I would definitely recommend video memories to all of my family and friends. -

I decided I wanted a wedding video at the last minute. I am so glad I made that decision and hired Mike Marano and his company to be our videographer. His prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality product received. He captured every moment perfectly and the interviews were great which we will cherish for a long time. The video was so much fun to watch. His editing was top notch and we loved the song choices he made to go with the images. He included a ton of footgae in the video. Our ceremony was very short since it was a civil ceremony but there was a ton of footage of the cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. My friend got married this past Friday and I did not hesitate to recommend Mike. They also hired Mike and he delivered the same excellent service and personal attention as he did at our wedding. I will continue to recommend him to others. -

Mike did my wedding 21 years ago and did a great job then! He recently did my son's wedding. He did an awesome job! The video is beautiful. He was great the day of the wedding, took a ton of footage and made us a very special finished project! The special touches that he added were awesome!! Its Funny because when me and my fiancé Ryan were searching for a videographer in the area , Video Memories name kept being referred to us,and then I realized they did my parents wedding over 25 years ago...WOW, this company is hands down is the BEST!!! My video was AWSOME! Me and Ryan laughed and cried over and over again, the shots were perfect and the graphics and special touches were like watching a Hollywood movie. We love our wedding video! There was many things that happened that I didn't even realize until I watched the DVD. The owner Mike was very easy to work with. Mike did an amazing job capturing all the special moments at our wedding a year ago. We were so pleased with our video and love the extra special "recap" video we were able to post to show our friends (who weren't able to attend the wedding) all the highlights. He put the video together quickly. The quality was great. -

Mike was fantastic!! He takes pride in his work. He captured every moment from before we walked down the aisle, to the first dance as husband and wife, to the father/daughter dance, to the end of the night ! He was thoughtful to capture each of our guests, dances, good wishes from guests, etc.. We can re-live our wedding day 20+ years later (wedding date 10/19/1991) by watching the video again! Would I recommend Mike and Video Memories for your special day? ABSOLUTELY! -

Video Memories has created 4 wedding videos for my family over the past 25 years. The most recent wedding was in the Fall and each has been excellent quality. The video quality itself is excellent - but so much more goes into creating a wedding video. The company was great to work with at each stage from the initial contact, the wedding day itself, and the final product. They are very professional and clearly experts at capturing all the key moments and little nuances that we wanted to remember. I love the creativity of the final video package itself. The price was very reasonable and having this video is priceless to us. We will definitely call Video Memories for our next family wedding. -

Mike Marano and his staff videotaped both of my daughters' weddings in 2010 and 2012. He did an exceptional job. Having a DVD of the wedding is so important as the wedding day goes so fast. When the final product was given to us, we were able to relive that special day plus see things that we missed. Mike is very experienced in videography as he has done it for many years. He captures those special moments you will not want to forget. -

Video Memories taped our wedding and I could not be happier! It's been 2 years and I still cry happy tears when watching it! Time and attention to detail, years of experience and a true talent was what made our video so beautiful and special! We hired Video Memories and we couldn't be happier. We checked out a few video companies but for the value and quality of work we really made the right choice. They were professional and very flexible with our needs and the finished product was far beyond what we could have imagined. I would recommed them over and over again. We have another wedding comming up next year and I already booked them for it. I can't believe we received all that we did for the price. The other video companies were quoting much higher prices and we weren't getting as much coverage. It was a win win all the way around. We loved it!! -
