Professionalism is the best. The video is even better.

I hired Video Express & Photography for my stepsons wedding in DC. I’m not from the DMV area so the challenge was finding the perfect vendor from several hundred miles away.
Julie was always very responsive, making great suggestions that helped put our minds at ease, and working diligently to make everything perfect. Especially knowing the trials and tribulations of my being so far away.
All the way up to the big day, Mark and Julie kept in constant communication and asked all the right questions while offering their vast knowledge and experience to assist in making my stepsons day and his mothers, absolutely perfect.
If I could rate the services received here on Wedding Wire up to 10, I would still give Video Express and Photography an 11.
Our family has watched the videos on DVD and blue-Ray so many times, over and over, I think they may be worn out.
We look forward to doing business with this vendor again later in 2022. Thank you Julie and Mark.

Hill Wedding- June 2019

I researched wedding photographers and ran across them and seen some of their work also on YouTube. After meeting them in person, I was sold on having them for our special day. They were very professional and there the entire day with us. We received a highlight video with our package that is still special for us till this day.

Great Experience

We got married in October 2022. We were trying to find a videographer that was budget friendly and Video Express & Photography was the perfect choice. Julie was quick to respond when we reached out. She gave off such a warm and professional vibe on our initial phone call. She wasn’t pushy, just went over their price packages and the benefits of using their company. Julie was super responsive to any emails or questions I had throughout the entire process. I believe we booked them about a year in advance. Mark called us shortly before our wedding date to introduce himself as being our wedding videographer for our day. He was so friendly and went over the whole process and any questions we had. On our wedding day Mark did a fantastic job! He was even more friendly with a fun personality in person. He made sure to capture all the special moments throughout the day! He went with the fast flow of the day and always had a smile on! I can’t state enough of how wonderful this company was to work with!! The quality of our video was amazing! They were quick to send us our video. We got back from our honeymoon 2 weeks later and our video had already been mailed to us. They are an amazing company to have on your special day! BOOK THEM!

Raw footage provided too!!

Wil was awesome and we loved the videos!! This is one of the few companies that offers to provide you the raw footage at an affordable price, which is exactly what we wanted! Would definitely recommend!

You WOW'd us and with only 2 weeks of planning time!!

We are so thankful to have found your team to do the photography and videography for our Granddaughters wedding. You WOW'd us with the Fabulous results and the way you helped us pull everything together in just 2 weeks time was simply Amazing! Grandpa and I especially enjoyed being able to watch and hear Jordan and Jonny's Love and Promises they exchanged; Jordan's thank you to Grandpa (brings us joyful tears each time); Grandpa's words with Jordan and Jonny when stating our willingness to 'share' our Beautiful J with Jonny and welcoming Jonny to our family; the Grandparents opening and closing prayers; words during delivery of the special necklace; words of good wishes, happiness, and joy from their many friends. Love Video Express :)

My husband and I used Video Express for our wedding in February 2021. Julie, the owner, was so kind and helpful when we began the process! We had an engagement photo shoot with the photographer Peyton who did absolutely beautiful work. On our wedding day, Peyton and our videographer Mark were swift, professional, and friendly! All of our material turned out amazing. The whole team was so nice and it was a pleasure to work with them. 10/10 recommend :)

They are the best!

I had the best experience since my first contact with Julie from Video Express since the first phone call she was ready to help us and to make our big day perfect.

We had many changes on our wedding due the COVID situation, and last minute we decided to hire a videographer and Video Express was ready to help us 2 weeks before our wedding.

We loved the highlight video and the live worked out perfectly. Mark and Will did an amazing job!

I would definitely recommend Video Express to everybody. I guarantee they are going to make your special day perfect! ❤️

Friednly, Professional, and Wonderful

We had a small wedding but it had it more than it's own fair share of unexpected obstacles. In the midst of the whirlwind, Mark was extremely flexible, friendly and calm figure . The venue shots and short but sweet mini interviews with us and our families all came together beautifully in the video. The editing was absolutely great as well - it combined the music, artistic shots, interviews, and key moments in a way that reflected our personalities and the emotion of the day. Our wedding was wonderful and the Video Express team captured it beautifully.

Absolutely spectacular

The highlights video from my daughter's wedding was simply AMAZING. Mark's artistry actually left us speechless. He was able to show how beautiful and special this Zoom wedding was in spite/because of the circumstances. We saw the "Zoomness"--including some of the people who were so special to us and couldn't be there--without taking away from what was happening in the house. His artful weaving of voice-overs with video footage was tremendous, and he managed to pick out the most important part of the speeches (for example, our granddaughter saying "Mazel Puf!" and the matron of honor, the bride's sister, talking about how she stitched her love into their chuppah). lash Mob Proposal

Mark and Julie were absolutely amazing. I planned a surprise flash mob wedding proposal and hired them to capture the event. Not only did they capture the dancers and the proposal they were able to capture all the behind the scenes setup and leadup to the big moment. They even did an interview at the end and to to cap it all off they added their creative input for the final edit. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone in the market for a photographer/videographer.

Amazing amidst covid!

I had to switch venues 30 days out due to covid, and Video Express was so understanding! I also didn't like the music played at my wedding (which was used in my footage of course) and they were so wonderful to swap it out with different music after they sent everything over! Mark, Diquan and Julie were fantastic to work with. The drone footage was a perfect add on! So happy to have them capture our COVID wedding!

GREAT Value and Service

When we had to postpone our reception due to COVID-19, but kept our ceremony date, we decided about a month out that we really wanted a professional videographer. Video Express offered us a great value ceremony only package. Not only did their pricing beat other vendors, but they went above and beyond in terms of the content! Where others offered the ceremony itself with multiple angles, Video Express got pre-interview with me and the groom, shots of us getting ready, and post-event comments which they spliced together with the full ceremony from multiple angles beautifully. Our budget was tight and we waited till the last minute to decide if we wanted to add the additional highlight video when Video Express worked with us to make it possible. We were blown away by the product and are so grateful to have it (get the highlight video folks, totally worth it!!). To top it all off, once we got the final footage, there was a small change that I wanted (not knowing if it was possible). Mark and Julie went out of their way to make the change and ensure we we're thrilled with the final product. We absolutely were and will be using them again should we have video, photography, or photo booth needs.

Great price, amazing video!

Julie, Mark, and Diquan are amazing! I originally reached out to them because they had reasonable prices. I ended up selecting them because they were responsive and friendly. All three of them really listened, giving me the confidence that they understood my vision, so that all I had to do during the wedding weekend was relax and enjoy.

Julie was available on any day of the week that was convenient for me to figure out the best package for me.

Diquan and Mark filmed the weekend. I couldn't have asked for anything more. We spent plenty of time on the phone ahead of time so that I could explain my vision, locations, and they happily answered all my questions. You'll never meet more friendly and talented people. When I saw the final video, I was blown away by the style, lighting, creativity, and quality. They captured everything I wanted (and cut out the parts I didn't want), captured our happiness, and the spirit of the weekend. The action in the video even matched up to the beat of the music!!
The rain didn't make Diquan or Mark flinch even during outside takes.

And what's more, they created the video while undergoing personal tragedies. This is a family that I love to support.

Thank you so much, Julie, Mark, and Diquan! You truly captured our happiness and have made our wedding live on through the video.

Making our Special Day Unforgetable

Working with Julie and her husband Mark was an absolute blessing. I lived in TN and was getting married back in MD where I grew up. They were so sweet and flexible with working with me. They understood how chaotic my schedule was since my now husband being in the military (I'm new to the military world). Any questions I had they answered right away. SO WORTH IT!! Mark ran around capturing every moment. You can tell they LOVE what they do. They ask if there’s specific things you want on tape too. They did amazing editing it and making it perfect. I had a bridesmaid and family who couldn’t attend the wedding and now it will be like they’re right there. I did the highlight, ceremony, and reception. ITS SO WORTH IT! We can show our kids one day too. You’ll never forget your special day with Julie and Mark.

Beautiful wedding video

Great value if your iffy on videography!

We have yet to get our final product since our wedding was just last weekend, but working with Julie and Video Express has been a great experience so far. Diquan was our videographer and he was so nice and fun to work with. He coached us on how it would work and he seemed to capture so much of the day even though we only had him there for 6 hours. We were on the fence about having a videographer, but I knew I'd want to see our vows (we were writing our own) and the reception speeches by my Dad and brothers again, so we looked for a value vendor that could capture those most important parts of our day. Video Express was great to work with from the beginning, communicating by phone and email since we were planning from the other side of the country. We're so excited to see the final product and I would highly recommend them to anyone not looking to break their budget but wanting to capture part of their day on video! Video Express Expertly Captured Our Wedding!

We had the honor or coordinating the photography and videography with Julie and her husband Mark for our October 13, 2018 wedding. Very early in the process, we met with Julie and she did a fantastic job explaining their different price options as well as showing us examples of the photos taken by their photographers so we could pick one based on their style and our personal preference. Whenever we had a question, Julie was always super fast to respond to our emails! After careful consideration, we decided to trust Video Express Productions with capturing our wedding day, and we're most proud to say they didn't disappoint! Their prices are one of the lowest in the Washington DC area, but please don't let this sway you into thinking that work isn't comparable to those who are double the price. After only having to wait about 3 months (post wedding) we received our gorgeous wedding pics along with short highlight video as well as the extended highlight video. To our surprise, EVERYTHING we wanted was captured via photo and video. Please do not hesitate to book, Video Express for all your photography and photo needs.

Great experience from start to finish

We were extremely happy with the work done by Video Express Productions. They were friendly, attentive, and professional right from the start. On the day of, Mark got some fun clips by interacting with us and our guests, and then he and Mara unobtrusively did great work for the rest of the night-- and the final product was beautiful! We love Video Express!!!

They are so patient and professional!!! We had a large wedding party with a few children but Mara and Mark were so patient in getting their shots. Mark even remained behind a little longer to capture more special moments. Mara was so awesome! We think she got some good photos. We cannot wait to see them. We worked with Brenda and she was such a pleasure. You will not even know she is there taking photos. Being a biracial couple, we always had issues with lighting when it comes to taking pictures. I am blown by how our wedding photos came out. We booked them for a photo and video package and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have more to say but just book them and see for yourself!!!

06 September 2018 Wedding

My wife and I were looking for a photography/videography company within the area that would capture the important and special moments on our big day. Everything was going perfectly! We had found the perfect venue location, Celebrations at the Bay, a year out. All that was left was for us to find was a photographer and videographer. However, we were worried that we would break our budget. We searched for months before we found Video Express Productions. From the beginning, Julie and Mark were very kind and enthusiastic. They welcomed us to their Virginia location to show us their previous works of art. At this time, we were able to see all the beautiful moments between the couples they had worked with previously. They were exactly what my wife and I were looking for! On our wedding day, they sent out the best of the best photographers, Mara, to cover our special moments. Mark and Mara were so amazing, that at times, I almost forgot that they were there. Video Express Productions supplied us with a photobooth so we could view all our friends and family enjoying themselves. This photobooth was very important to us because it allowed us to view special moments that we were not present for during the festivities. With the photobooth, we were able to see how excited our friends and family members were on our special day. They were able to joke around, be goofy, and have fun! Our videos, photos, highlight video were stunning and perfect. Their quality and professionalism were well worth the prices and did not break our budget. Julie, Mark, and Mara were extremely kind, caring, and professional and have become a part of our family. WE recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding. My wife and I definitely plan to use them again when we have family photos.

Best decision we ever made...

Diquan was an absolute joy as a videographer! All of my bridal party and a few guests ran over to me during or after the wedding to sing his praises. The event was so much fun and so busy that I didn't have a chance to go to the photo booth, but I had a few guests mention that it was fun as well. I am so glad Julie placed us with Diquan due to his professionalism and fun attitude.

Also, Julie was so outstanding as a point of contact. She was flexible and worked with us on the perfect package for our day. Best decision we ever made...

We just received our 5 min highlights video and raw footage and we are extremely happy. Julie was incredibly helpful during this process and our videographer Will was fantastic. In hindsight, I wish we would have discussed the family members that were important to me to be in the highlights (and others that didn't) - so, future brides, think about it! But all in all - we are pleased with the pricing and the product.

Where to began, we were so picky in finding the right photographer/videographer. We met with so many people but when we met Julie we instantly booked with her. She took the time to work with us and find the best crew to work with us. We had Brenda Orellana (photographer) and Wilfredo Gutierrez (videographer) work our wedding and let me just say WOW! We absolutely loved how they worked, we were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony but it rained. Regardless, these two made the best of it and worked with what they had. They took us out while it drizzled which was perfectly okay with us and we appreciate their dedication and determination to make it the best for us. They were so attentive, helpful and professional. We felt so comfortable around them, my family and friends were so impressed with them. We also had a Photo Booth which I highly recommend. Everyone had so much fun using the props and it was so memorable for us to see all the pictures. We received them the same week of the wedding.

Highly recommended!! Great customer service, very pleasant to work with, prompt replies to emails and phone calls, quick turn around and everyone I worked with are very knowledgeable in what they do!
Julie at Video Express always responded promptly to my emails and had no problem answering all of the questions I had.When we first came into contact, she immediately offered availability to meet to discuss the details of what Video Express offers. I appreciated her patience with me as I tried to understand the difference between video types, packages etc. and she happily answered ALL of my questions-even when I asked the same questions over again! (oops!)
The Photo Booth photos were ready that same week! And the video was finished just 15 days after our wedding! I was expecting to have to wait much longer, & was so excited to see the final product so soon! Mark was wonderful to work with on the day of, and their whole team is clearly very experienced & knowledgeable in what they do.
Speaking of Photo Booth-My husband & I ALMOST chose not to do the photo booth thinking we would not have enough space in the venue, & because of the added expense-but for anyone who is also in the same boat and debating-GO FOR IT!! EVERY ONE had a blast with it, & the photos turned out WONDERFULLY!!! (Many of them are hilarious!!) It was definitely a big hit!!
We are so glad that we went with the larger video package as well, one that includes the highlight video, plus a documentary video. We also purchased the entire ceremony on DVD (originally didn't think we would want this - so glad we did!!), and added the photo booth. We have had so much fun already showing this to family and friends!!! And especially being able to see the ENTIRE ceremony from the guest's perspective.
I will definitely be recommending Video Express to any friends who get married in the future and are look for a videographer for their special day!

We got our pictures and video back from our wedding, I could not say more wonderful things about Video Express and their team!!! From day 1 they were very responsive to emails and questions. On the day of the wedding, the photographers and videographer were on time, professional, and incredibly nice. The lead photographer, Mara, and her assistant, Peyton, took tons of pictures and they came out beautifully!!! We loved going through the memories that we forgot or had never seen because we weren't around. Both of the ladies captured the excitement and happiness of the day from all of our guests and my husband and I. Scott, the Videographer, also was outstanding. He captured wonderful commentary from our guests wishing us well, to Jason and I exchanging vows and dancing the night away. We absolutely recommend Video Express for your special day!!!! I never had to worry if they were capturing important moments, as they were always filming or taking pictures. And they did so without being obtrusive. Thank you for helping us capture our precious day!!!

My daughter recently married on 7/29/17. After researching various companies, we selected Video Express Productions for the videography and we are soooooo happy we decided to do so. The video is absolutely fabulous, capturing all the memorable events of the wedding ceremony and reception. The quality is amazing! It's as if we were reliving the day when viewing the video. My daughter and her new husband are beyond thrilled that they have such special moments recorded that they can cherish for many years to come. Originally, they were thinking they would not have a videographer. After viewing the video, they are now pleased the decision was made to Invest in videography. The company produced an A+, high quality product at a reasonable rate. I found Julie (owner) to be patient in answering all my questions and responding in a timely manner whenever I reached out to her. Mike the videographer was awesome! He had the skill and expertise to capture absolutely beautiful footage. We are delighted with the video highlights and the edited full coverage video. We highly recommend this company.

Exceptional experience and results! I recently hired Video Express and Photography for my wedding and I am very please with their work. I can't say enough, I have received so many compliments on both my video and photos, and I would highly recommend them for the services they offer. We used Video Express for both our photography (Brenda was our photographer) and videography (Mark was our videographer). We selected the package that include 6 hours of photography, a documentary video edit and a highlight video for around $3K plus tax.

Brenda was amazing! Don't let her young age fool you - she is a pro! Our photos were wonderful, she worked well with my bridal party and family members and her turn-around time on getting the full set of photos back to me was quick (~less than 8 weeks).

We also enjoyed working with Mark. He captures tons of great moments from our day and the final version of the documentary edit and the highlight video were great. I was initially reluctant to pay for video services, but am so glad that we did. The day goes by so fast, so it's really a blessing to have a video of the day and to capture the words of those nearest to us.

Mark and Julie (owners) were truly a pleasure to work with! We met with them at their Alexandria location and after seeing their work we were sold! We loved the fact that they also offer photo booth services which was very convenient instead of having to look for another vendor. They were open to all of our ideas and we were lucky enough to have Mark himself shoot our wedding (although I'm sure their other videographers are just as great). We wanted something different for our backdrop for the photo booth and they were willing to try it out although it turned out to not work so well. The day of the wedding I received the scrapbook with pictures of the photo booth and little messages from our guests and it was so nice since we were able to share with our guests at the brunch the next day. We got our wedding video pretty fast and it is simply amazing. We have already watched it plenty of times and every single time, we end up with tears in our eyes because we truly are able to relive the day with it. We are so glad we hired them and we would recommend them to ANYONE! Thank you all for everything!

You can not go wrong with hiring Video Express Pro! I'm not a photogenic person. In fact, I actually don't like taking pictures. However, Video Express took pictures of me on my wedding day that were simply breathtaking! Our photographer, Danny, put me at ease, took beautiful pictures but was so unobtrusive that we didn't even see him most of the time but yet he was able to take the best shots. Additionally, we ended up getting videography services. This was not on our radar screen but was an idea from my mother. I must say, out of all of the money spent on the wedding, our video was hands down the best decision we made. Our videographer, Mark, is one of the owners of the company. He, just like Danny the photographer, was able to capture so many things that we didn't see without being in the way. Our video is spectacular. We took it on the road with us as we traveled to see family and it has been viewed countless times with everyone being awestruck at how beautiful it is and how well it was executed. The photo montage of our baby and childhood pictures and music at the beginning of the video and then edited to fit at the end of the wedding footage is beyond belief. They are professional, talented, flexible and worth every penny!! Thanks Julie, Mark, Danny and everyone else at Video Express who captured our beautiful day.

Julie and her crew were truly amazing! They were everything we could have asked for and more. Video express provided our wedding photography, videography, and photo booth (and it was all a very reasonable price)! The photo booth was a smash hit all guest really enjoyed taking pictures and video express brought tons of really cool props which was really neat. We loved that at the end of the night they had already made us a scrap book with all the pictures. Julie's team was very friendly, i feel like we definitely had the dream team at our wedding. They were the absolutely best.

I have nothing but great things to say about them! Julie and Mark were very accommodating. They worked with my budget and was very patient when handling me as a stressful bride. Mark, the owner of the company, was the videographer for the day of my wedding. I let him know what I was looking for in my video and he captured every moment and more. After receiving my video, I cried because I was absolutely amazed and shocked at how great it came out. Mark had captured moments that I had no idea he was even around to see. I never felt overcrowded with the recorder, he gave enough space and was never in the way. Like I said, I didn't even know that he was there for the most part. He was great!!! The editing and quality was amazing! I received great feedback after posting my video on facebook. The video was ready two weeks after my wedding and that is great!!! I highly recommend them to everyone!!!

We did our 10 years anniversary on June 18, 2016. We hire the video express and photograph. Thief did excellent job and me and my wife were happy job they did. We used this company to supply the photo booth for our wedding reception. The associate assigned to our wedding was amazing. While my husband and I were taking photos after the wedding the associate had to share the unfortunate news that the photo machine had broken while being set up. I appreciate her quick honesty and more importantly that she was already on to solving the issue. Having the photo booth was one of the best choices we made for our reception and it was really a hit with all of our loved ones.

Video Express Productions, Inc. did the Videography for our Wedding on October 24, 2015. My husband (Ernest) and I had the good fortune of having the owner of the company perform the videography services himself. He was punctual and professional, witty and a joy to work with. He took an interest to detail (included all we requested of him to capture) and so much more we had no idea he did. I guess when you have the expertise and perform this type of work, you have the knowledge and know what it'll take to make and capture memorable moments. The videographer covered all the important events of the day. I liked that he took pictures of each table. The sound editing was great. He captured the fun of the dancing--it was a dancing crowd. Very pleased with the highlights and the complete record.

Our videographer was Mike - and he was fantastic! He called us the week before the wedding and went over the timeline with us - not once did he make me feel stressed or overwhelmed, just excited (which at that point in the wedding planning process was much needed and appreciated!).

He was incredibly professional and non-invasive throughout the entire ceremony. He got footage of everything we had talked about. Mike was PERFECT for our wedding!

As far as the company goes, they are a group of very friendly people. We met with them at their office and watched different video styles to help us pick the one that worked best for us. They worked with us and our budget and we ended up getting a great deal (check often, as they almost always have monthly specials!). I do not regret using Video Express!

Video Express did an amazing job on our wedding video. We picked a videographer quickly, and primarily on price, since we wanted just a simple recording of our ceremony. What we received far exceeded our expectations. Julie and Will were two of the most professional, competent and pleasant wedding professionals that we worked with throughout the planning process. The contract and delivery were seamless. The day of the wedding, Will arrived early and battled 90 degree heat, bright sun and lots of background noise (waves, boats...) to deliver a really beautiful video. While we initially thought the idea of guest interviews sounded cheesy, Will set our guests at ease and captured both sweet and funny moments that we are glad to have. The day goes by so quickly; we are very glad that we hired Video Express and have such a beautiful and fun keepsake.

My experience with Video Express Productions have been very positive. From beginning to end, I appreciate their prompt response whenever I had questions. On the day of the wedding, I also appreciate the fact that they sent a 2nd videographer to cover the ceremony even though that was not in the contract. The main videographer stayed with us for the majority of the day and he was exceptionally professional and blended in the background quite nicely.

We were given a 3 month production time, but we were pleasantly surprise to find out the videos were ready ahead of schedule. My friends and family enjoy the high quality cinematic videos as it makes it feel like a movie.

I would happily recommend Video Express Productions to any of my friends. They are totally worth the price for capturing such great memories we can watch over and over again.

I had video express production for my photo booth and as my videographer and I could not be happier with their service. The photo booth was a great hit at the wedding and the video turned out amazing. We had Jay who videoed our wedding and he was awesome, he has great outgoing personality and made our wedding day fun! They are very quick with answering any question through phone or email and the video turned out perfect. Mark, Julie, Danny and the whole video express productions team was amazing to work with. Mark and Julie are GREAT!!!! I met them 20 years ago when they were just starting out and used them to provide videography. They were GREAT 20 years ago and they are GREAT today! We were on the fence about having a videographer in addition to a photographer at our daughter's wedding, but are so happy that we did have VideoExpressPro at the Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding Reception. They did all that we asked them to do (it was very important to us that ALL the toasts be recorded in their entirety) and captured all the beautiful and happy moments of the weekend. They really listened to us and were very responsive and flexible. They did an excellent job of putting together videos (including highlights) that let us relive all the happy moments of the perfect weekend. They were much less expensive than other videographers and very timely in getting the videos to us. We are very happy with them.

I am so, so glad we used Video Express Pros as our videographers. I was really uncertain about hiring a videographer and would have preferred a more DIY option, but on the insistence of my parents and my groom's parents, I went with professional videography from Mark instead.

Mark and Julie were helpful and accommodating before the wedding, given that my now-husband and I live overseas. I didn't see too much of him on the day itself, which is as it should be - he blended into the background.

The video made me cry. He captured aspects of the day I'd missed. I'm sure we only had one videographer with two cameras, but you can't tell from the video - it looks like we had an army of videographers capturing every moment from every angle, and beautifully editing them together into a perfect video. He overlaid audio from one point to video at a different time to fabulous effect. The highlights section is wonderful, but I'm going to have to find time to watch the full thing over and over because it is just so beautiful. Really amazing work.

The video service for my daughter's wedding was nothing short of spectacular. Mark gathered information from them before the wedding through a detailed form and then called the week before to go over details. At the wedding itself, he was thorough and professional--he was everywhere, but never "in our faces." He captured events and activities during the day that I didn't see at the time and am so glad to have recorded. As for the editing and the final video, he did a magnificent job of weaving in various camera angles and aspects. The "highlights" video is a true highlight--everything in one quick, neat package for those people who won't sit through the whole video. I would recommend Video Express unreservedly.

Originally we were not going to have a videographer but last minute, about three months before the wedding, we decided to find one. Not only was Video Express and Photography available, but they worked with us on the packaging details so we understood exactly what we were getting.

I loved our videographer Jay. He was extremely professional, conscious so you never noticed he was really there, and always had a genuine smile on his face. I would recommend him and the company again for sure!

5-Star Rating all around for Video Express! In my spare time, I like to do a bit of cinematography, creating small video clips/stories based on my everyday experiences, so when it came to videography for my wedding, the last thing I wanted was something that looked like it was nearly a "slideshow" of wedding events. Video Express was EXCELLENT!!! Not only did they answer all of my questions/concerns before my wedding, but they followed-up soon afterward just to tell me about typical turn-around time due to vacation and/or busy wedding season. I really appreciated that. Mike, our videographer was very polite and managed to capture small details about our wedding venue that I hadn't even noticed!!! That was a nice surprise. Our guests complimented on how personable he was and how comfortable they felt in taking the mic to wish us well during the little "interview" segments. I was so happy and care free on my wedding day, it was great to have a videographer who could just "roll with it" adjusting to changes in schedule when needed. I'm so pleased that we went with Video Express for our wedding DVD and highlight. Great professionalism and quality work...couldn't ask for more.

Although we hired Video Express Productions 2 weeks prior to our wedding, they were very accommodating. The process was easily done via email and phone. Our wedding video was completed about 2-3 weeks later and was very professional. Family members loved the video and commented that they had never seen one done like this before. It was like a movie trailer. We are very happy with the service and finished product.

Julie & Mark are absolutely a pleasure to work with and their work is even better! They were very flexible and able to accommodate everything I had asked for. They brought in the photo booth with lots of props, and I have around 800 photo's of my family and friends that got in to take crazy pictures throughout the night. They also did my videography which was by far the best thing I spent my money on. I recommend every single bride to get a videographer for your wedding. The video is something I will truly cherish for the rest of my life! I would highly recommend Video Express to anyone!!!!

OMG!! Words can not describe how pleased we are with our video. Out of all the aspects of our wedding, Video Express, by far, was the best investment we could have ever made. The videographer was on time, pleasant and somehow managed to to capture all the important things and more. The video is awesome. The editing was done to perfection with pictures we added to the beginning to the scrolling credits of the wedding party at the end with our selected music. If you need a company for your video needs, especially weddings, you will not be disappointed with Video Express. I will be happy to answer any questions but this review I'm writing says it all!!! Thanks again Video Express for an exceptional video!!

Video Express is amazing! We had the privilege of having Mark film our June 30th wedding. He was very unobtrusive but still got great shots. Their editing is also top notch. We are still amazed at the great service we received for such a great price. Julie is such a sweetheart, she always answered our questions promptly and was willing to accommodate whatever request we had. Julie and her team at Video Express were fantastic to work with. The day-of cameraman was extremely friendly, punctual, and energetic. We received our video recently and it was better than expected. Photographs are great, but the video really captures the liveliness of the event, and Video Express is a great company to work with to capture these moments and memories. They are very responsive and with all the other stresses that go with a wedding, this was one of the easiest portions of the planning process, and I felt completely confident in their work before I had even seen the video, which itself exceeded our expectations.

A week before our wedding, we learned that our original videographer was a scam. We took to Facebook to get our friends suggestions on who they used and several of our friends (not knowing one another) suggested video express. We contemplated not getting a videographer at all and saving the money. We are so happy we decided to get one. It captures the wedding in a way that words can't describe and photos are unable to do.
At 10pm a few days out from our wedding, we sent the company an email and by the time we woke up the next morning, Julie had emailed us back telling us to call her because she would make sure we were taken care of, and we were! We were only a few days out from our wedding and she took care of everything. She put Jay in charge of our actual wedding day and he was WONDERFUL. He had a smile on his face the entire time, extremely professional and captured every moment.
There were only two times I cried throughout our engagement/wedding adventures. The first was the father-daughter dance and the second was during the highlight of our wedding venue. The video flowed perfectly and captured things that we weren't able to see because we were doing something else or that we had completely forgotten about. As a bride and groom there is so much going on the day of and throughout the wedding that it is impossible to take everything in. Our wedding video captured everything and gave us memories that we wouldn't have had without it. We will forever cherish our DVD which was made possible by the Video Express Pro. Team.

I hired Video Express to provide videography during my wedding. I met with Julie in their Alexandria location and she was able to show me a video created previously from my wedding venue. That gave me an idea of what they could provide for me. She presented several packages that they had. All of which were priced reasonably compared to other companies in the area. The package I got had a video montage, wedding highlight film, and the edited wedding. They took the songs I requested for particular pieces and applied them. I found that Julie responded to every question I had before the wedding quickly. The actual videographer contacted me prior to the wedding and listened thoroughly to what I wanted captured (i.e gift exchange before wedding, father/daughter dance, etc). The actual day of the wedding he was on-time and seemed to work hard to capture everything. He wasn't intrusive and yet my wedding video and highlight film captured EVERYTHING. I received my video within 8 weeks. The way they edited it was stunning. I've received many compliments and I highly recommend you contact video express for their services.

Video Express Productions did a remarkable job filming my daughter's wedding in Washington, DC this summer! The videographer was professional and courteous. He even asked me at the end of the reception if there was anything else we wanted him to film. We loved the finished DVD. The sound was clear and the close-ups of family were great. We loved the candid expressions he filmed of our family and friends. All was so heart-warming! This will be a fantastic family keepsake. I highly recommend this vendor.

My husband and I really enjoyed working with Julie and Mike at Video Express Productions. It was very easy working with them and he had no issues. The wedding DVDs were done 6 weeks after our wedding and some of my friends have waited closer to a year for their wedding videos. I enjoyed having Mike film our wedding. I felt like he was there capturing all the right momemnts and more. It was a great experience.

Using Video Express was the best decision that we could have ever made for our wedding day. The video that Mark filmed and edited turned out far above our expectations and was an incredible capture of our special day. Mark and his team worked with us throughout the planning stages to figure out what would be important to capture leading up to the big day. He also helped us find a plan that would fit within our budget and that was more than affordable for the quality of service. Mark did an amazing job during the day working with us and interviewing/capturing friends and family during the day's course of events. And of course, the final video production was amazing and something that we will watch for years to come. We would definitely with no hesitation recommend this company to anyone desiring a video for their wedding day. They are absolutely worth every penny!

My husband & I got married a little over two years ago in Severna Park, MD. When we first started looking for a videographer we went to the bridal showcase at Martin's Crosswinds in Greenbelt, MD & that is where we first saw Video Express Productions. On the day of our wedding the videographer Brian captured everything from candid shots of video to special moments. The finish video was above & beyond our expectations that brought me to tears. After to years of marriage we are still happy with our decision to go with Video Express Production. We ar planning to use them again when we decided to renew our vows. Video Express Pro was great! I met Cheryl and her husband at a wedding show and after talking with them for over an hour, I knew I wanted to book Video Express Pro for my wedding! My husband and I hadn't really considered videography in our wedding budget, but they really worked with me to find something that would work for us. Mark and Julie were great! They were very responsive and accomodating to my needs. Mark was great in capturing our wedding day and moments that I missed. Julie and Mark were both great! They were very friendly and professional. The quality of the their work was great! Julie is excellent to work with. She responds to emails quickly and is very friendly. Our videographer was also wonderful. He was laid-back and put people at ease, and got a lot of great shots. We got our wedding DVDs one month after our wedding, which is pretty quick. They made a minor mistake on our video, but when I told Julie about it, they fixed it and sent us new DVDs right away. So that wasn't such a big deal to us. Now our video is perfect. I highly recommend Video Express!

I heard about Video Express through a friend who raved about the company. When I inquired, I had a phone conference that evening and was very impressed. They sent a contract out right away with easy to read guidelines (everyone hates to read professional garble). The man for the job was Wayne, who was fun to talk to about what I wanted both over the phone and in person on the day of my wedding. My dj said he was very impressed with Wayne as well. Wayne was all over the place getting recordings and shots, yet he was never in anyone's way.

They were awesome! The staff was there early, offered to stay late if we wanted. It's hard to think how everything's going to come together since that day is a whirlwind, but the results are in the finished product. We laughed so hard and have majorly enjoyed watching the video. The final product is aweome and I would highly recommend this vendor.

We were not planning on having a video of our wedding, but needed to do so since one of our Dad's health prevented him from traveling. We hired Video Express for this purpose and now that we have the video it was one of the decisions we made. Sandy's Dad age 94 was so sad he could not make it but we in effect brought the wedding to him. After seeing it he said he "was at our wedding." We loved it too and captures comments and events that neither of us saw.

Julie was very helpful, and Mark was spectacular in every way. We did not even see him most of the time and he never intruded. His work was impeccable, and something that is not apparent from promotional materials but critically important is the editing of a wedding video and that was outstanding too.

One final note that is worth mentioning. We were traveling to See Sandy's Dad within one week after the wedding and Mark made a verbal commitment to do all he could to have the video done by then. Not surprisingly, he finished it the day before we left as not extra charge. They really do care about proving a meaningful service to their customers.

I was very last minute deciding on a videographer and this company made it a breeze. Also, Mark was great the day of. He got a lot of great comments from our family and friends and was everywhere!
