Incredible venue with character at an amazing value!

I walked into Victory Arts Center and knew it was for our venue! There is so much character at this venue & spaces for every need. Our wedding was on a 100 degree day and there were accommodations for everything to be indoors, it was PERFECT! We loved the chapel & the happy hour room. The bridal suite and grooms room was absolutely perfect for the day. We chose this venue because of the value, open vendor policy and ability to have the circle ceremony we dreamed of!! I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone!

Beautiful property with excellent staff to help

To anyone looking for a place to have their fairytale wedding look no further! Even though we had to reschedule our March wedding due to covid Connie & Heather were amazing at accommodating us. We had rescheduled our wedding for August 23rd and it was beautiful! Everything went very smoothly. The venue was very clean, cool, & staff was on hand to help us out. When my then fiancé & I had looked at this venue we knew it was the one! We even had our gender reveal at our “formal wedding “ ( we did say our vows in March at my parents house) so not only did we get to celebrate our love we have for each other!!! We also got to celebrate our baby boy 💙💙💙 everyone complimented us on how beautiful the venue was also!

    Amazing ! Don’t look further

Don’t look further! This venue was amazing . Connie and her whole team made sure that my big day ran smoothly . They accommodated all my needs. Communication was dead on from the moment I considered booking till after the wedding . The venue is spacious , it has a separate area where the bar is , a space for the catering company and what sold me was all the natural lighting in the reception area. It even has a bridal and groom suite. I was lucky enough to get ready there and go to mass and come back for the reception. The venue is historic! If you ask Connie, she’ll show you pictures and tell you all about it. You won’t regret booking !

    Excellent Experience

Everyone at the venue was extremely helpful during the entire process, including day of. They helped flip the room from ceremony to reception in a very timely manner.

This is the most beautiful wedding venue in Fort Worth! Staff (especially Connie) went above and beyond to make the day exceptional. The new bridesmaid room was perfect for getting ready pictures and the natural light shimmers through out the building. We saved a bunch not having to rent tables & chairs, really appreciate that. We hope more friends will continue to host their special events here!

We had a beautiful reception in the main hall of the Victory Arts Center. One of the perks was having the large anteroom where we could set up a bar and food. We saved a lot of money by not having to rent tables and chairs. There was plenty of room for a dozen tables and a large dance floor in the main hall. Our guests loved coming to such a cool, old space with character. The staff was flexible and easy to work with. We would recommend VAC to anyone looking to book a reception.

The venue was beautiful. It had a very historical, yet laid back feeling to it. 360 Catering was amazing, and they were so helpful. Alicia took care of all the logistics of everything, while Cody made sure we were taken care of day of the wedding. I even had to change the date of the wedding, and they were so accommodating and made it so easy. I would recommend them and the venue to anyone! Thank you for making my wedding day so special!

Victory Arts Center is such a unique, beautiful old building, perfect for an elegant classic or vintage-style wedding. The managers, Cody and Steve, are incredibly kind and accommodating, they clearly care about making your wedding day exactly what you want it to be. We were always welcome to come by and ask questions or look at the space again, and the day of the wedding they were ready to provide whatever we needed. Cody even ran to pack my suitcase and get it to the car when I realized right before our exit that I had forgotten it! The catering was amazing, I have had a steady stream of complements from guests about the food. The staff was all polite and professional, and pulled off the switch from ceremony to reception very efficiently. Overall, I highly recommend the Victory Arts Center, they made my wedding perfect!

We absolutely LOVED and ADORED this location. It was everything we dreamt of, and hoped for, for our special day. The coordinator was so professional, kind, and most helpful. We loved the VCA- our photos all captured the historic and traditional side of this building. It was romantic, breathtaking, just simply amazing. Our families all felt it suited us well. It was a wonderful location and made our day so very memorable and special. I HIGHLY recommend this location to others.

    Historical Charm and Wonderful Experience

I can't recommend this venue enough. The building itself is so full of charm and history, there's so much natural light, wonderful handicap accessibility, the bridal get-ready area is full of beautiful details, mirrors, plenty of amenities, and lastly, the staff is excellent - they couldn't have been friendlier, more competent, or more responsive. Connie went over every detail with me and answered my many questions leading up the the wedding day, and on the day of, Taylor went above and beyond anything I could have asked for to make sure everything was set up and ready. He even took the time to set up the sparklers for our exit with cocktail hour decor while we were enjoying the reception. This venue and staff are a treasure. If you're looking for a venue with lots of photo-ready detail that's rich in history, plenty of windows for light, and great people on staff - this is your venue. I spent the happiest day of my life here.

    Victory Arts Center's reply:

What a beautiful place to have our ceremony and reception. They did a great job of working with us to setup times and were flexible to our needs. The overall value of cost could not be beat. They are well organized and I would recommend them to friends based on my experience. Thanks so much for making our day magical!!!

The venue was beautiful. It was built in August 1909 and we were married in August of 2009, so it was neat to be able to say we were there for the month of the 100 year anniversary. It used to be a Catholic convent and they converted the nuns quarters to apartments. One of the tenants was kind enough to show us around and give us a tour of one of the rooms. The VAC has a banquet room on the first floor and another on the second. When you go up to the second floor, there is an open area with a built in bar and a balcony where a few guests can look out on the lawn in front of the building. The second floor banquet room is where we had the cermony and was later flipped to house our reception. There are large windows that line both sides, large columns that run the length of the room and beautiful, painted, vaulted ceilngs. Neither one of are Catholic and there really isn't much that would make you believe it was a Catholic convent. We decided on it because of the great character it has.

As far as the venue goes, everything was excellent. The catering company, G-Texas Catering, is a different story. You are required to use them. The food was good and reasonably priced compared to others that we saw and the servers did a great job as well.

We met with the first girl, Dena, that worked there and she did a great job getting us what we wanted, but ended up leaving the company to study abroad about 3 or 4 weeks before the wedding. A new girl was hired and took over. We gave her some slack knowing that she was new and was trying to play catch up, but she was horrible at returning calls, she didn't show up for several meetings and didn't bother calling to let us know she had to cancel, and she kept making empty promises. Remember, this is all a month prior to the wedding. We had to constantly remind her to do things. She said she would do something and then wouldn't follow through.

The day of the wedding, she was supposed to get the tables out so that they could be decorated at least a few hours before the wedding. They didn't get set up until 30 or 45 minutes prior. Guests were showing up and the wedding party was still trying to decorate. The new girl showed up about 30 or 45 min before the wedding as well and then ended up leaving about when the ceremony started. She wasn't there to help direct guest downstairs for the coctail hour or flip the room upstairs for the reception. The tenant, that I mentioned earlier, was there trying to help her out and he wasn't even being paid to do so. We were also supposed to have passed wine and drinks downstairs at the cocktail hour, but that never happened.

Luckily, the wedding went fine. The guests were happy and everyone thought that it was beautiful. We did contact the owner of G-Texas, John Gilbert, and told him what all happened. He apologized and thanked us for the feedback. He said he wanted to make things right and offered us a night out to Gilley's for a concert on him since they cater there too, but never did hear back from him. Another one of those empty promises...

In short, the venue was beautiful and would get a 5 rating all around if it wasn't for the management and service of G-Texas. We would recommend this venue on the basis that there were some changes to G-Texas Catering's management.

    Victory Arts Center's reply:

G-Texas is no longer associated with the Victory Arts Center. 360 Catering and Events is the exclusive caterer and they have an excellent reputation for service, quality, and making your dream day a reality!

    Not worth it

This venue is not half as nice as the edited photos makes it look! It’s in the middle of an homeless community. People live here like it’s an apartment. The elevator that is expected to me used to take guess to the top floor for the wedding is old and dirty I couldn’t imagine walking my white dress through this dusty place let alone have guess and kids fall through the creeping floors. The kitchen where food is suppose to be prepared smelt like a swamp. Absolutely disturbing for this venue to look so nice in photos. It was like being catfishes. My fiancé was so upset I even considered this place I had to pull up the app and show him

    Victory Arts Center's reply:

We are sorry you did not enjoy your March 7th tour. We are a mixed use Historic Apartment and Venue. Our glowing reviews from previous weddings show that it is not an issue. Our tenants are very respectful during our events. Again, sorry you did not enjoy your tour. We hope you and your fiance found a venue that fit your needs.

    Sincerely,
    Connie

I got married at this beautiful venue and all went well until the day of the wedding. Connie was visibly in a bad mood and very snappy to my wedding party. She was nice to me as a bride but was very rude to my bridesmaids and family who were setting up. When they did the room flip one of the maintenance men (tall young white man) who is in charge of flipping the tables actually cursed at my bridesmaids when she told him we would need to leave a trail open for the mariachis to file through. He told her “I don’t know ask the f****** wedding coordinator about that”. Of course I was not aware of this as they didn’t want to bother me on my big day but I found out afterwards. Additionally during cleanup at the end of the night I was told Connie was very rude to my wedding party who were cleaning up and stole snacks that we put out as favors. This sounds petty but she filled up a bag of them without asking us if she could have them or what the plans were for the leftovers (they were to donated to the school I work at). Additionally there appears to be some beef between Cody with 360 catering and Connie and they bicker back and forth during client meetings which is very unprofessional and uncomfortable. I loved the venue and the price for the venue was great too. The customer service was unbelievably poor on the day of tho and I am just glad that my husband and I were not informed of the things that were going on on our day or it would have been bad
