Miguel was great and so easy to work with. We booked him through our Wedding Planner, and he was very responsive along the way. His prices are very reasonable if you are on a budget, and the quality and professionalism are excellent. I had a difficult bridal party and we were a bit chaotic, but Miguel was so calm, professional, and patient with us. I really appreciated his professionalism during moments where I was overwhelmed. He delivered our wedding photos exactly a month after our wedding date, and I am very pleased with the results and quality. -

Wonderful!
My husband and I were thoroughly impressed! From the beginning when we chatted with them, Miguel was very understanding of our budget and helped us build our perfect video/photo package within our budget. On the day of the wedding, they were very prompt, professional with attention to detail, and very knowledgeable about different factors that go into photography and able to offer their insight on how to get the best photo effect. They were also friendly and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (hubby usually doesn’t like photos taken). We received all our photos about 1 month later, and our highlight video about 3 months after. Miguel was very responsive to emails and any questions we had throughout the whole process, which we really appreciated! We’re still waiting on our album and documentary films, so I’ll update this review once I have those!
EDIT: We received our documentary films (one for ceremony and one for reception) about a week later! They were each about 20 minutes long, and included good quality audio/video for our ceremony, and key portions of the reception, including first dance, the reception speeches, bouquet toss, father daughter dance, and exit. We received the album a few weeks later and absolutely love it. Miguel had us check the layout before sending it off to print and was receptive to any changes we wanted to make. The actual album was good quality matte cover with double thick layflat pages and what seems to be a lustre finish. Overall we’re super happy with our photography/video package with Vey Gallery! -

(10/10) photographer, videographer and photo booth. All guest absolutely loved the booth. Miguel was very professional and worked well with our group our bridal suite was a complete wreck and he still managed to dig and find everything he needed to capture for pictures. I got all my edited photos within a week!!!! Highly recommend! I can’t wait to see the video he captured of our big day. -

Wonderful photographer; amazing prices
Vey Gallery did an INCREDIBLE job on my wedding. We had Miguel and he was so amazing. He knew exactly how to pose us to get the best shots. And he was so flexible and professional! An hour before our engagement photos, there was a huge rain storm and we had to change the location to the other side of town last minute. Miguel was there on time and ready to go! And our photos came out AMAZING! I would recommend these guys to anyone. Very professional and very reasonably priced! -

I am so glad we chose Vey Gallery! They have been so amazing to work with! We took our engagement photos Sunday and they had our photos ready on Tuesday! Our photos came out so beautiful. Absolutely amazing!!!!!! I can not say enough wonderful things about Vey Gallery! I booked them for my wedding in September in Austin Hill Country and thus far, Melvin has been a complete pleasure to work with. He is very responsive to text messages and emails regarding any questions I may have. He’s really made this entire experience very delightful and a breeze. Danish was our local photographer from Austin who captured our engagement session. Danish made us feel very comfortable and had us laughing the entire shoot. A few days after our session, I asked Melvin if there was anyway I could have just a few photos as I was already behind with my timeline on sending out the save the dates. Knowing that this request would probably be unlikely, Melvin came to the rescue of a very stressed bride and had ALL my photos edited and sent to me within a week. I was in tears of happiness. Thank you Vey Gallery for delivering the absolute best service! I cannot wait for you guys to capture my wedding in both photo & video. Sincerely, I very happy bride! -

I am just so happy with Vey Gallery! Not only have they’ve been so kind to me and my fiancé but they even stepped up at the very last minute to be photographers for cousins wedding and we’re on time and so very professional and friendly. Then! We just got our engagement photos and I’m so pleased!! I highly recommend and we are not even to our own wedding yet! -

It has been so great working with Melvin and the team at Vey Gallery! They have been very helpful, timely and accommodating. My fiance and I live in Dallas and they were able to get our engagement session done in Dallas, instead of Houston (on a tight timeline I may add). Our session with Ken was amazing! We felt so comfortable and were given great direction with just enough freedom to be ourselves during the shoot. Melvin is always very quick to respond to texts and emails and had our engagement photos edited and back to us within 48 hours! Everyone representing the company has been a class act and we are so excited for our wedding day with Vey Gallery! -

We could not be happier with our experience with Vey Gallery! We met Melvin at a bridal expo. His enthusiasm and love for what he does instantly drew us to him. His pricing is great for the quality of work, and services provided. The payment plan makes it so easy. Any questions we have had were answered quickly, professionally, and fully explained. We had our engagement session yesterday, it was the best day doing wedding plans yet! We had so much fun. Our photographer was Ken, he was so friendly and easy to work with even with our children being figity he caught awesome shots! The way he directed us was so easy follow (alot of photographers do NOT have this attribute) his veiw of natural lighting gave us Beautiful photos! I was worried of having typical shots that weren't us, we did a few, they are typical because they work for what your trying to portray. That being said ken was awesome at getting to know is and showing off our personalities in some fun off the wall poses. Time frame I was expecting a sneak peek in a week or so but Vey got them back to us that same night! Even made us a slide show to share with family and Friends! Everyone is raving at our pictures and wanting to know who we got to take them. We tell them loud and proud Vey Photography. We cant wait for our wedding and to see how they capture it. I have full confidence we chose the right company and plan to use them for our events in the future -

Melvin gets five stars, and that's saying something considering he hasn't even gotten to the main job that we hired him for yet! My fiancee and I were looking for wedding photographers, and found some very good options but felt immediately comfortable and excited to work with Melvin. There's something inherently warm and sweet along with intelligent and creative that you immediately sense when you meet with Melvin, and that translated perfectly into our engagement shoot which he recently published. Not only was it a fun day, but he really made it more fun. When many photographers place you it feels like a chore, when he does it somehow just made us laugh and feel at ease. He's the perfect package of personality along with quality artistic photographs, and we're confident that it will be just as magical for our upcoming wedding pictures!
UPDATE - Our wedding went off BEAUTIFULLY, and every member of my family raved about Melvin and his crew. We've gone through weddings for each of my older siblings, and each of them have resulted in photographers who left no mark or impression, or at least not in a good way. Melvin's demeanor and personality put people at ease, everyone liked him instantly, and the initial photos we've already seen are magnificent. A+ for Melvin! -

The best photographer
Melvin, did our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. He is the most professional photographer I have encountered. I highly recommend him. He goes above and beyond to make sure your pictures are perfect. When I show my picture albums to friends and family. I always get asked, ‘who took your pictures’. His photography is amazing and I am very pleased with my pictures. -

I appreciated Melvin’s attention to how the weather would effect my photos with my husband. He had suggestions readily available for location. Directing is a big part of shoot, and my husband and I comprehended his vision and had fun as well.
We received our photos in a very timely fashion - faster than any other photography experience.

Fun Engagement Shoot!
Melvin is a great, fun photographer to work with. Booking online and texting with him up leading up to the photoshoot was easy. Very quick to respond and he was flexible with adjusting our times since the daylight saving messed it up. He's super nice and helpful when it comes directing our poses because it was our first time...we don't know what we're doing! He's open to the fun shot I wanted to do which was pouring champagne in to our mouth haha the pictures came out awesome!! I would recommend! :) -

Melvin was fantastic to work with (easy going personality, but also takes charge on the wedding day to capture all the photos needed in a timely manner!) and delivered STUNNING wedding photos. Tons of my family and friends commented on how amazing our photos turned out. Melvin even traveled all the way to Durham, NC for our wedding. I wouldn't have changed a single thing about the experience. I highly recommend him! -
