My daughter and I both ordered arrangements to be delivered to our child/granddaughter in a hospital and they delivered them promptly and they were beautiful.

It was very easy emailing with her when I had new ideas or changes I wanted to make along the way. I didn't expect to become so attached to my own bouquet - everything was gorgeous! Brittney at Verzaal’s is one of my favorite vendors we worked with during our planning because she was always so pleasant & really wanted to make sure she delivered the flowers I was hoping for. Well let me tell you, she went above and beyond my wildest dreams!!! After sharing just a few pin ideas from Pinterest, she was able to create absolutely breathtaking bouquets for myself and my girls! I wish those flowers could’ve lived forever! They were simply phenomenal in their arrangement and the flower selections complimented the whole bouquet just beautifully. Also, a special gesture she honored for me was a charm I had made of my late grandfather and his wedding ring, tied into my bouquet for me to carry down the aisle. The special touch meant the world to me and I appreciated her kindness and thoughtfulness. Oh, and let me not forget the alter piece she and her team decorated for us was just stupendous!!! Five stars all the way!!!! I am still in disbelief over how beautiful our wedding and flowers were thanks to Brittney at Verzaal’s Florist and Events! Brittney worked with me to see my vision and ideas and created them into a beautiful work of art beyond my expectations.
I should also mention that we got married one week after Hurricane Florence hit Wilmington and Brittney still managed to create the most beautiful arrangements without the slightest compromise. (I should also mention she went into labor the day after our wedding and gave birth to her beautiful baby girl). Brittney worked with us through major events and still managed to give us the most beautiful day, I cannot thank her enough.

Brittney was a dream to work with! I live outside of Raleigh so I didn't have any personal experience with Southport/Wilmington area florists. When I found Verzaal's I was so excited by my first conversation with Brittney...she immediately understood what we were looking for! My description of "country, rustic garden" wasn't standard ask, but she knew what I wanted and wow did she deliver!! I asked that we use lanterns as the focal point for our centerpieces, with flowers surrounding them, and I don't have words to express how much I love how they came out! And the bouquets for me and my girls...WOW! I wanted something that was again rustic, wasn't a perfect ball of flowers, etc. and she brought my ideas to life!!

I was unable to visit the shop before the wedding since I live in Colorado and I was so happy with the result. They listened to all of my ideas and reviewed my Pinterest pictures and put together beautiful work that fit my budget.

Robin at Verzaal's was so wonderful to work with. As most brides might, I had very specific colors/themes/ideas in mind for flowers for our wedding. Robin brought that all to life for us. Austin and I were really impressed with Roberta at An Event with Verzaal's. She's creative, responsive, and able to bring your wedding vision to life. Our colors were purple and white and aside from mason jar centerpieces and staying on budget, we deferred to Roberta for her recommendation. She created beautiful bridesmaid bouquets filled with white hydrangea, white freesia, purple stock, and lavendar stock which doubled as centerpieces for the reception. My bouquet was fragrant and beautiful - white roses, white freesia and lots of purple accents. Our flower girl carried hot pink rose petals. The guys wore purple lizzies and our moms wore white roses with purple caspia. Additionally, we had mason jar centerpieces filled with limes, curly willow, and gerber daisies and lemons with babies breath. The flowers were gorgeous and provided the perfect backdrop for our joyous celebration. Thanks, Roberta!

Before I contacted Roberta, I had received an estimate from another local vendor, as well as the disappointing news that what I was envisioning would "just not work." I decided to explore my options, found Verzaals and set up a consultation. Turns out... I could do everything I was envisioning, I just had to find the right woman for the job! Verzaal's did such a wonderful job of our wedding. We were sure that we didn't want ONLY flower, but we didn't want to have to rent or buy candles and other decorations for our wedding that would just get discarded later. Roberta did such a fantastic job! In fact, she was more of a wedding coordinator than a florist. Had I known at the time that she could also do my invitations and other items, I would have gladly handed those over, too! My mother-in-law also used her for the decorations at the rehersal dinner. Both events were COMPLETLEY different - and both were FANTASTIC! I have already recommended her to several brides-to-be!!

Working with Brittney was amazing. She was SO quick to respond by email and phone, and dealt with all of changes and questions. Our venue had a large fireplace mantle that would be the backdrop to our ceremony and head table. She created an absolute dream setting with lush greens and candles- I could not have asked for anything more. It was perfect. The centerpieces were spot on, and she went above and beyond to decorating our seating chart. The photos of bouquets I had sent as examples were identical and gorgeous. They stuck around to help with the room flip too. Brittney is super talented and I highly recommend!

Overall, the flowers at my wedding were gorgeous and I was very happy with my bridal bouquet. Everything I sent Robin in pictures were pretty close, if not exact, of what I was hoping for on my wedding day. She does a great job of being able to take a picture of an arrangement and recreate it for your own wedding day. She also took the time to schedule multiple meetings with my mom and I so that we could go over details for the big day. I appreciated all her time and her hard work. I only have one complaint that was disappointing and it did not occur until after the wedding day. I had provided Robin with a few extra simple supplies (specific ribbon for my bridal bouquet and extra twinkle lights to use throughout the reception venue). A few weeks after the wedding my mom and I had both attempted to call her and text her to get the extra items back. Although they are not expensive items, it was more to have the ribbon back to use for other crafts, and the twinkle lights back to use for the holidays. Anyone planning a wedding knows, every penny counts. I am disappointed that our phone calls and text were ignored and that we were unable to get these items back. However, all in all, I was very happy with her service leading up to and on our wedding day.

I ordered an arrangement for my mom's 88th birthday to be placed on the church alter. The arrangement itself was pretty but a lot of the flowers had already turned brown and some deeper in the arrangement were dead. I was very disappointed not only by the flowers but the cost of $80. So not worth it!
