I found Versa Artistry ONE WEEK before our spontaneous elopement and I am so glad I did! Not only were they extremely responsive and professional, but they also went above and beyond to provide information on their available services and artists, and also wanted photos prior so that they could understand my style and goals. Any bride knows how stressful the hair and makeup process is, and I was so worried about it given that I did not have time to do a trial-Leslie Jo made that not an issue at all! She was absoluelt amazing, professional, and so helpful throughout the entire process! I learned so much from her and she used amazing products. She also kept me in the creative process asking how I like to do certain aspects of my makeup which was so kind and helpful to acheive my perfect wedding look! I would give them 10 stars if I could! Do not hesitate to book Versa Artistry, and if you are looking for an amazing natural glam and romantic waves Leslie Jo went above and beyond with my look and it was better than I could’ve imagined!!

Just amazing!

I could not be happier with my experience with Versa. We were scheduling hair and makeup last minute for our bridal photos and they responded quickly and were able to work with us even though we only gave them a weeks notice. Flavia, the owner, did my hair and makeup and I felt so natural and myself but so beautiful! She was so calm and made the experience so fun and personal. She captured the look I'd been dreaming of perfectly. I would highly recommend their services.

Jamee was amazing -- I loved the way I looked at my trial, but I had a few notes. She was incredibly receptive and in the end my wedding hair and makeup was perfect! She even made time to run over and style my groom's hair. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

Flavia and her team are the best! They are calm and organized, two very important qualities in a wedding vendor. The best part about Versa is the ability to service any size group. I had 15 people that needed hair/makeup on my wedding day, and I knew she'd have the staff available to pull it off! Everyone looked elegant and natural.

Between 2014 and 2017, I hired Versa 3 times for 3 daughters' weddings. Before I chose Flavia, I spent a lot of time researching, reading reviews, and looking at portfolios of hair and makeup artists in the area. I'm so glad I found Flavia! First of all and most importantly, her skill at her craft is incomparable! My beautiful daughters looked their absolute best for their engagement photos, first look photos, and wedding days! Their hair and makeup were flawless and remained so the entire day. Underlying her skill was a sincere desire to please the bride. Flavia won't book a wedding without a trial, and with my first bride, I was concerned about the extra expense and asked about that. She explained, "I can make you look like anything, but the worst thing in the world is for a bride to look in the mirror and say, 'I look beautiful, but I don't look like me.'" To that end, she took time to personalize each session and get to know my daughters, even playing their preferred music during the session. My daughters chose updos, and they looked absolutely classic, timeless, and gorgeous; but I have referred her to friends who wore their hair down and were equally pleased. After the first trial at the first wedding, I simply planned for Versa in the budget and never looked back. I also hired another artist and had my own hair and makeup done for the subsequent weddings, and was equally pleased. Finally, Flavia is a warm, kind, beautiful human being and it is pretty much always a joy to be around her. I'm happy to wholeheartedly endorse Flavia and her team of well-trained artists.

Shelby and Leslie Jo from Versa Artistry were amazing! They did my make-up and hair, respectively, for my wedding and for my reception. They took time to assure that I was getting the look that I wanted. They were very professional, kind and dedicated. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup and I owe it all to them! I had an Indian wedding requiring a head piece jewelry and scarf and they took time to make sure it all stayed secured and looked good. I have never had such talented people work on my hair and makeup and I am so lucky to have had the opportunity. They are truly the best and I would recommend them to anyone for any occasion!

Over the last 2 years, I've worked with Versa Artistry on several occasions. Flavia and her team of hair and makeup artists are always wonderful-professional, timely, and true artists! You can tell that these ladies love what they do, and they are well versed in different styles. Working with Versa Artistry has always been a joy and I certainly plan on using them again!

Flavia is not only very talented at what she does, but she is also professional and friendly too. She cares about her brides and takes time to get to know them and their personalities beforehand. She then takes what she has learned about her brides and brings it out so beautifully in their hair and makeup. I am not one that feels comfortable getting all dolled up and she managed to make me not only feel comfortable but also absolutely stunning without feeling like the makeup was caked on. She made my natural beauty pop. I wouldn't suggest anyone else but her to anyone.

Versa Artistry was amazing!!! Flavia did my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures as well as my wedding day. She was so patient and wonderful in working with me to find the perfect style, and was very flexible in adding on another hair/makeup session to the wedding day schedule. Flavia and Diana did an amazing job on the wedding day, and we were all incredibly happy with our results! They were professional and fun, I strongly recommend them!

Flavia is FANTASTIC. Not only is she hilarious and easy to talk to, but she's also amazingly talented. For my engagements, I gave Flavia a vague idea of what I wanted and she made it better than anything I could have described. For my wedding, I came with a couple of pictures of ideas, which she turned into a unique and special look just for me. And she was super patient with me when I made her go through a bunch of different lipstick shades until I found one I loved. Flavia is now my go-to hair/makeup artist whenever I'm in Utah. She's the best!

Flavia and the team at Versa Artistry were absolutely fantastic. They did hair and makeup for me, 6 bridesmaids, and two mothers for our wedding at the Montage Deer Valley in September. They were extremely professional and speedy, and made us all look absolutely beautiful. I LOVED my hair and makeup -- did not feel overdone at all, just a more beautiful version of myself. My bridesmaids, who have all been in many weddings, said this was some of the best professional makeup services they've had. The team was all around sweet, agreeable, and made our wedding day very fun. Would book them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them to anyone!

I'm one of those girls who never likes my hair and makeup when I get it done- Flavia and her team changed that! I had read all the great reviews on here about her and all of my other vendors raved that I had to hire Versa to take care of me and the girls on the big day. I met Flavia for my hair/makeup trial and she instantly got me- understood what I was going for and executed flawlessly. Day of, her team came in with great energy and took such great care of our group. We had 10 ladies doing hair and makeup and 10/10 were 110% happy with the way they looked and I never felt better! I wish I lived closer because I would make more frequent trips to her if I could.

Also, shout out to Diana on her team who touched up my eye lash extensions the week of my wedding. She did a great job!

I am standard ok pretty - but dang did I feel gorgeous on my big day. Flavia did my hair and makeup and it came out just perfectly. I explained what I wanted - didn't want to feel like I had a ton of makeup on but also wanted to look my best. I was going for elegant and timeless and she totally got it. So happy with the results. Plus her and her team came out to my hotel which made things super easy for me and my bridal party.

I just got my bridal trial done for hair & make up today by Flavia. I am so happy with the outcome that I took a million pictures (which I never do) & I was so sad to wash it off. Flavia went above & beyond, I have really thick hair so it took a long time to curl, so instead of having a two hour trial it ended up taking four hours which she didn't seem annoyed or anything. Flavia was also extremely helpful to answer all the questions me & my mom had about skincare, hair extensions, make up, ect. I highly recommend her to everyone & I'll be sure to spread the word! I couldn't sleep at all last night because I was stressing so much (I've had a lot of bad trials from makeup, spray tans, ect.) by the cost & if it didn't look like I would want it to but now that I've gotten the trial done, I feel like I have 1000 lbs lifted off my shoulders because of how amazing the work was! I believe it is well worth the money! Thank you so much Flavia! (:

I loved working with Versa Artistry for my very special day. The professionalism was impeccable. Each artist brought out the individual and natural beauty of my daughters. Then amplified it. They were stunning. As for myself, at 52 years old I had special concerns with my more "mature" skin. Falvia listened closely to my concerns then gave me a flawless look. And I have to say I have never felt prettier. One of the best aspects of the whole experience was the laughter and great memories we made with the Versa Artistry staff.

Flavia and her team were amazing to work with for my wedding. I got so many compliments all weekend long on how amazing my hair and make up was. I have trusted Flavia Carolina to do my hair and/or make-up for the past 14 years. She is extremely professional and pays very close attention to detail. If you have an idea of what you want or nothing at all her vision and final product is amazing. She (and her assistant) did my hair and make-up for my bridals and my wedding. Every event, style and haircut has been perfect. I wish I lived closer for her to be my one and only hair stylist and go to make-up specialist.

Versa Artistry did my hair and makeup for both my Bridal Photos as well as my wedding. They were recommended to me by my wedding planner, and I'm so glad I followed her advice and booked them.

I have heard nightmare stories of hair/makeup artists who do what they think looks good and don't take the client's wishes into consideration. That couldn't be further from the truth for Flavia. With every stroke of her makeup brush or application of every bobby pin in my hair, she ALWAYS checked to see if I liked the direction she was going.

I originally wanted an updo in my hair to showcase the back of my dress. When we did a trial, I realized that updo didn't look like me at all; it was too stiff and matronly for my personality. Flavia executed my updo to perfection, she did what I asked, and I realized an updo was not the way to go. I'm so glad I did a trial (Flavia had really recommended the trial) and realized BEFORE my wedding day that I didn't want to go with that look.

Instead, Flavia found the perfect compromise that would let my long locks be on full display (I'd been growing my hair out for the wedding), but still left the back of my dress on full display, as well.

As for makeup, I love wearing fun makeup looks in my everyday life, whether its a smokey eye or a bold lip, so I knew I wanted to go with something more than just a "natural look." Although, for the record, Flavia's natural look brides are stunning, as well. I've seen pictures to prove it! Anyway, my makeup was unbelievable! I could not stop smiling after it was finished. My eyes popped with color. Flavia did some amazing contouring and highlighting, and found the perfect lip to complement the look - not too bold, but just enough color. My makeup was a work of art, I LOVED it.

My hair and makeup felt like me. I looked like me. My husband loved it. Can't wait to get my pictures back!

Flavia is simply the best! Versa Artistry is professional, classy, friendly, and genuinely care.

I was referred to Versa by two other makeup artists in the area. I was a little nervous because there are only two makeup artists ("specialists") on their site and neither of them were going to be involved in my hair/makeup, and when I asked for a portfolio from the artist they assigned to me they didn’t have one to provide. But, it was just a month before the wedding and I didn’t have much choice (and they did come recommended…). I arrived, somewhat nervous, to my trial with pictures of hair and makeup, and Toni Zitting immediately put me at ease. He was calm and confident with great presence. I showed him my ideas (I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted, just some things that were close) and he hardly glanced at them and then created this look that, it turns, was exactly what I wanted. Wizard!
On the big day, they all arrived on time and everyone was happy with their work. Toni did hair and makeup for my sister and mother in law, and they loved his work, too. He's amazing. The other artists, Dianna and Tamara, were great, and I have nothing but good things to say about working with all of them. They got me and 7 other people ready in a few hours. The hair and makeup stayed put and fresh allll day long--from the first appointment at 10 AM to the end of my wedding that night at 11.

Janelle and Cali were incredible!!!!! They were on time and so kind and professional. They did everything myself and my bridesmaids asked for our hair and make up.

Janelle did my hair and make-up for my wedding and I have never felt more beautiful. She truly made me look like a princess and I will never forget that. They are wonderful people and very talented hair and make-up artists I would recommend them to anyone.

I worked with Flavia to create a style and a make-up palate for my wedding. Admittedly after the trial run I was feeling a little concerned because I wasn't entirely sold on the way I looked. However, precisely because of the trial run, I knew exactly what I liked and didn't like and on the day of my event, Flavia worked tirelessly to ensure that my wishes came to life. She was so receptive to what I wanted, and made every effort to make my vision a reality. I am so thankful that Versa requires a trial run session because it allows both the client and the artist to come to an understanding of what the client is truly looking for on the day of the event. Thanks to Flavia and her amazing assistant Gabby, on the day of my wedding, I felt gorgeous. If you can show up feeling grubby in sweats with flat hair and no make-up and leave in the same sweats feeling like you are having the most beautiful day of your life, someone has done their job well. Hair and make-up were an absolute essential for my wedding day. When everything is done and the day is over the most important memento from your big day will be your pictures. I knew that the money I would spend on hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids would make my pictures something I would love to look at and I wouldn't become one of those horror stories you always hear about. Having Flavia and her team there on my big day allowed me to relax and trust that myself and my girls would look stunning on one of the biggest days of my life. I can't rave about her enough!!

Spend the money - she and her team are so worth every single penny. Also, please PLEASE do a trial run for your hair and makeup before your wedding. I thought I wanted to go with an old hollywood look with red lips. Flavia gave me exactly what I asked for and I felt stunning but instantly knew it wasn't the right look for my wedding day. I ended up going with long loose curls and a natural face and I am so SO grateful that I did the consultation.

Flavia is a wonderful! Along with my photographer, hiring a makeup and hair artist for my bridals and wedding was the best decision I made about my wedding (aside from the groom of course!). She was very attentive and made sure every detail looked great! I got so many compliments on my hair and it made such a difference in how I looked in my pictures. If you're on the fence about hiring someone for hair and makeup, go for it. Think about it--you're already spending so much money on the dress, the place, the photographer--you may as well make sure you look your best! Plus, for me, just knowing I looked good gave me more confidence that came through in my photos.
I hired Flavia because I loved the work she had done in a magazine photo shoot, and she went above and beyond to make sure I looked great. She came in on a weekend to get me ready for my bridals, and also came up to my wedding venue on my wedding day. I highly recommend her!

Our wedding planner referred us to Versa Artistry for hair and makeup, and I couldn't be happier with the decision to hire them. Initially, it was a little difficult to get a hold of them (all communication was via email as I never successfully reached them on the phone), but after we hired them, communication seemed much smoother. They had 3 artists come to do our party of 8 on the wedding day, and the hair and makeup was flawless. Even when people requested certain hair and makeup styles, the stylists were accommodating. They were positive and upbeat and made sure that we were all happy with our looks. I would hire them again.

The Versa Artistry team is fantastic across the board - from initial scheduling to customer service to final product. I've had my makeup done professionally several times, and they blew all other artists I've used out of the water.

My wedding planner recommended Versa, but I was initially hesitant because of the price. I initially decided to go with another vendor, but after they took forever to schedule my trial run, I grew concerned with their professionalism and worried that I wouldn't be able to count on them for my wedding day. I decided to cancel with them and go with Versa, and boy, am I glad I did! It was night and day. Versa responded to all of my emails within several hours, their work was amazing, and they were fun and flexible through the whole process. Thank you Versa Artistry!!

Flavia rescued me when my hair and makeup artist had to cancel at the last minute! And boy did she deliver! I had never had my makeup done professionally. It was amazing! I looked like me (not too dramatic) but still more glamorous than myself. It was PERFECT! And the hair was everything I wanted and more. I felt like a princess! Highly recommend!

Flavia also did my hair and makeup for my wedding day and reception day. I have seriously always dreamed about my wedding day hair style, since I was little. When I showed up for my appointment, I wasn't even totally sure what I wanted, but I knew I wanted a show stopper. Let me just say that Flavia is a hair sculptor! She will work until it's PERFECT. You definitely want a perfectionist when it comes to hair and makeup.

And EVERYONE at the wedding commented on how amazing my hair was. I felt like a queen!

Also, she is super clean and sanitary when it comes to makeup application. All her brushes are cleaned before and after your makeup and she uses a clean palette (instead of her hand) from which to apply makeup. I really appreciated that about her.

Flavia at Versa Artistry did an amazing job. People comment on how beautiful my makeup was in my photos all the time. My hair was perfect and stayed put until the afterparty. I was so satisfied with Flavia I hired her to do my makeup for a budoir photo shoot I did a few weeks after the wedding and she did a perfect job as expected. Her outstanding product comes at a premium price, but it's worth it.

Versa Artisty, Flavia (hair) and Marki (makeup) were great for my wedding. I had a destination wedding and needed to coordinate all the parts from afar. Versa was prompt in their replies and made it very easy to book everything. Versa accommodated me during my tight window of in-town planning and did a beautiful job with the trial.

Wedding day hair and makeup was stress-free for my entire party. They did a beautiful job and everyone was extremely happy with their look. I highly recommend Versa Artistry and have zero complaints.

I hired Flavia to do my daughter's hair and make-up for her wedding. We had 3 sessions: one practice in studio, one for formal portraits in studio, and one at home for the wedding day. She and the man who assisted her were gracious, friendly, and 100% professional. Flavia took time to know my daughter so that she would be happy with her appearance, and she was. She looked like herself, only more glamorous! Furthermore, the bride decided on an updo for the wedding instead of the way she had worn it on the previous two sessions, and this did not seem to bother Flavia at all. She looked at a couple of hair dos we showed her on Pinterest, and our bride looked perfect on her special day! I have 3 more daughters and will hire Flavia every time!

Flavia from Versa Artistry is excellent. My make-up and hair looked amazing, and she was super patient about my indecision about my hair. I highly recommend her. Everyone on her team is also great. (They weren't cheap, but they're worth it)

Flavia did my hair and make-up for our wedding in October in Park City. She was super patient to find the appropriate style, accommodating to a last minute add of make-up and calm in an experience that can be very chaotic and stressful. The trial was wonderful - trying multiple undos - really working to find the best fit. Her make-up skills are honestly incredible. I would recommend Flavia to any and everyone in the SLC area.

I used versa for my engagement photos- I was super happy with my makeup and my hair was okay (it pictured well but if I had to do it again I would've gone in with a better idea of what I wanted). I didn't use them for my wedding though because they are extremely pricey- but if you can afford it then I would suggest contacting them.

My experience was terrible. I learned that the artist, Jamee Murdock, was not qualified to do makeup and the owner was embarrassed by the poor quality. She offered a free trial with an expert. I reluctantly agreed. They did not contact me back to schedule for a week and a half. I asked to cancel knowing that I would be out the retainer fee which was $659. I asked for the second makeup trial fee of 205 to be refunded, but the owner refused and said we can't refund just because you did not like the finished product. She then accused me of not paying the full retainer cost and that she was doing me a favor cancelling the contract anyway. If you book with these guys, check their stylists and request an expert. Also, hold onto your receipts.
