I absolutely loved working with Verde Beauty for our wedding. They are extremely accommodating and willing to work with you to make your day go as smoothly as possible. I also appreciated their breadth of artists and how they have someone for everyone no matter what style you are looking for. Jasmine was incredible with my hair, styling it so it was smooth all day in the southern humidity but still kept the curl. Ashley gave me the most perfect bridal glam I have ever seen and knew exactly what I wanted. They worked so well together and the rest of the artists we had on our wedding day for the bridal party did an incredible job. Everyone was so sweet to work with I can’t recommend more!

Absolutely wonderful work done by the make up artist for my wedding day! I had my moh, mil, mob, and myself done for the special day. The BEST beauty studio!

Tina knows what she is doing! She will listen to your ideas and execute exactly as requested OR she will help guide you based on her experience/expertise and she will not lead you the wrong way. I was so keen on having my hair down on my wedding day but she reminded me where exactly I was (I was from out of town and didn't think about the heat & humidity) and she encouraged another option and I am so happy I went with her recommendation. Verde Beauty did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and they were very professional and a pleasure to work with! They were very responsive and helpful when I was selecting my package. I live out of state, but they were very accommodating and managed to fit me in for a hair and makeup trial only a few days before my wedding. Bri did my hair, and Paige did my makeup, and they both offered suggestions when I had no idea what I wanted, and I was so happy with both my hair and makeup. On the day of the wedding, they came to my hotel room and did my hair and makeup first and then hair and makeup for three other members of my wedding party, and everyone was thrilled with their work. The best part was that my hair and makeup lasted to the very end, even after a second line and dancing all night! I could not be happier with Verde and will definitely book them again for other events.

Verde Beauty was incredible! I had a big wedding party (bride, 8 bridesmaids, two moms, and a sister), and they were able to provide a team on-site to get everyone looking amazing in time for our prep photos and first look. They listened to my vision and made it happen, and they took the time to make adjustments as I wanted, so it was just right. Then after looking flawless, my hair and makeup stayed in place through hours of outdoor photos and wedding activities in the New Orleans summer heat. I was very impressed!

Tina and Verde went above and beyond for my wedding! They were very easy to communicate and schedule with. After the pandemic, we had to reschedule the big wedding, and that process was as simple as an email! They also came through when we decided to still do a small ceremony on our original date. We let Tina know our plans about 2 weeks before the day of and she made it happen, no problem. Tina personally did my hair and makeup, and even let me borrow a veil for my ceremony since mine was stuck at the cleaners! For the big ceremony, our girls were just fabulous. All my bridesmaids looked absolutely gorgeous. Every experience I’ve had with Verde over the last 3 years had been perfect. Still to this day, Tina is the only one I’ll let cut and color my hair! I’ll definitely be using Verde for any event I have in the future.

Tina and her staff go above and beyond to make you feel beautiful on your wedding day. I enjoyed my trial experience - both the opportunity to try out a few styles and the chance to meet the stylist that I would be working with. Based on that experience, I provided them with a few comments on things I would like to see changed and day-of my hair and make-up were better than I even expected! Plus, my maid of honor, sister-in-law, and both mothers were very impressed with their hair and make-up as well. Everyone looked cohesive together, but also included touches of their own personality. My mother-in-law was a little specific about using some of her own make-up and the stylists dealt with that no problem! I would highly recommend Tina and her team to anyone getting married :)

I couldn't be happier with Verde Beauty Studio. I booked Tina for my own makeup, and Puckett for my mom and bridal party. They were on time (early, actually), set up within minutes, and super efficient with the makeup application. My one requirement when booking a MUA was that the person had to be better than makeup at me. You'd be shocked by how many service providers this eliminated. But Tina and Puckett (and I'm sure the rest of her staff!) are the real deal! I got so many compliments on my makeup, and considering my friends are all artists, theater people, and general creative types, that's a big deal. They have pretty high standards for stuff like that.
Bottom line: I felt beautiful, my bridal party felt and looked beautiful, and Tina and Puckett were also really fun to hang out with during what could have been a stressful time (and absolutely wasn't). You can't go wrong with Verde. Don't cheap out on your makeup, brides. Photos are forever!

I cannot say enough great things about Tina and her crew! I looked AMAZING on my wedding day and my hair and makeup was more than I could ever have imagined! I felt like a Vogue model. I was an out-of-state bride, but was able to do a hair and makeup trial. On the wedding day I decided I wanted something completely different and Tina delivered. She was easy to work with and very reasonably priced. I wish she could do my make-up everyday!

I absolutely loved working with Verde Beauty for my wedding! As an out-of-state bride, I was a little worried about working with a hair/makeup artist that I didn't know and wouldn't have a chance to do a trial with until the day before my wedding. It worked out perfectly! Sarah was amazing at her job and really ran with a vision from only a few Pinterest pictures and my very poor job describing what I wanted. She was super relaxed and easy to work with. I also forgot to book makeup for the bridesmaid until the day before, and Sarah graciously came early despite having other weddings already scheduled to fit us in. We really loved working with her! Ahh where to start?! Verde was amazing!! On site service for the big day made my bridal party and I look great with makeup and hair to last all night long! They worked with me to create my bridal look and the plus side is they are a full service salon that can help with any of your beauty needs leading up to the wedding and after. Totally worth booking them!!

Tina and her team at Verde are wonderful! Besides doing beautiful hair and makeup, Tina is organized and professional, which made me feel so comfortable that she would not skip a beat on our big day. Tina and her team were flexible with us and able to add hair and makeup for a couple of bridesmaids on the wedding day and get our giant wedding party ready! My makeup lasted all night and continued to look great in photos through the after party. I was wearing my hair down so I was concerned about frizz, even though I didn't ask her to, Tina took extra care to smooth my very thick hair with a flat iron before curling it for my wedding day style. That made a huge difference and my hair stayed smooth and shiny throughout the night!

Verde was suggested to me by a co-worker. I was in a pinch and was very short on time before both my bridals and my wedding day. Verde didn't even flinch when I told them how last minute I was. They put me on the books, wrote up a contract and I was ready to go. Our makeup artist was sweet, fun and did a wonderful job making my wedding party and myself look amazing. We got our makeup done at 9am and it looked perfect all the way through the night.

Tina and Karen came to my hotel in the French Quarter to do my hair and makeup and also had planned on 2 other makeups and 4 other hairdos. They came right on time and were very friendly. In the end they fit in 2 extra makeups which was great! Everyone looked so beautiful! My photographer was amazed by how great my makeup was and commented at the end of the night on how well it held up throughout the night. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs beauty services in the New Orleans area.

Of the professionals that I hired in Louisiana for my St. Francisville wedding, Tina was my very favorite. She was timely, professional, kind, and talented. I loved Verde Beauty Studio the moment I first walked in to do my consultation with Tina. She was very informative and knew exactly what I wanted, not to mention she was super sweet! Her hair and makeup team were also very sweet and fun to work with. They knew what I wanted and did both my hair and makeup for my bridal shoot and wedding day. I found Verde Beauty Studio through weddingwire and they were wonderful!!Tina did my makeup on the day of my wedding. She was great made me laugh and was patient with my crazy schedule. Also, when I came in for my "trial run" she listened to exactly what I wanted and it looked AMAZING!! The airbrush makeup looked so natural and stayed on all night. Verde provided wonderful service on my wedding day. Tina and her assistant came to the hotel where we got ready and did airbrush makeup for me, my bridesmaids, the moms, and flower girls. Not only did they do my hair and makeup, but they did my bridal party and my mother's hair and makeup. Everyone looked beautiful, and I couldn't have been happier with their services. I didn't have to worry about a thing with them. Tina stayed throughout my reception for touch ups.. I needed them with the dancing, and my husband smashing cake in my face! haha. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tina at Verde Beauty. She did my engagement hair and makeup and I loved that she made me look natural, but still beautiful and better than my normal self. My fiance even commented on my makeup and that is something he NEVER does. I also had her spray tan me for the wedding... it looked natural and really made me feel more confidant as I normally have pasty pink skin!
Tina and her artists also did my wedding hair and makeup. Again, I loved the end result for me, my bridesmaids, and my mother (who is a very tough critic!). We opted to have everything in her new studio instead of a hotel room. Such a good choice. It has a kitchen for drinks and snacks, and the mirrors and chairs are in the living room with sofas and music. So relaxing, and such a pretty backdrop for pictures. Tina suggested bringing pictures of how we wanted our hair and make-up to look and she and her artists recreated the looks exactly how I envisioned them. So many hairstylists can't do great updos... hers can. Everybody looked stunning. LOVE HER. It is worth it to have real professionals do your hair and makeup... pictures are forever!

She was on time and very professional, she listened to me when I described what I wanted to look like on my wedding day, and she definitely delivered (and then some!). I loved my bridal makeup and got compliments on it all night long. We had an outdoor wedding and it was humid and rainy all day and my makeup stayed perfect the entire time. I went to Bridal Beauty Consulting for my hair and make-up needs for my wedding day and couldn't be happier with their services! The owner, Tina, is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Her staff is also awesome! They really listen to you so that they can give you the look you want on your wedding day, and they also help you to have a plan for your bridesmaids so there will be no confusion for you on your big day. I could not have been more pleased with my hair and make-up on my wedding day, everything was just right and I still felt that I looked like myself. From the moment I first spoke with Tina over the phone, I loved her. She put me right at ease and answered all (however stupid or tedious they may have been) of my questions with such confidence; and at that time, I didn't know if it was "too good to be true" or if she was just like every other hair and makeup artist. As it turns out, she truly is the best! She REALLY takes her time with her brides - she is is so patient and so understanding. She goes way over and above. She is not just there to provide information on her services, she does SO much more than that. She is so knowledgeable about weddings, timelines/timeliness, relationships/dealing with members of the bridal party and beyond, and attention to detail. As I spent more and more time with her (for engagement photos, bridals, etc.), I grew to love her more and more - I didn't even think that was possible. On the day of my wedding, she arrived early, set up without any direction needed from me, and had ALL 10 of my bridesmaids, mother-of-the-bride, and me ready on time, if not a few minutes early! I was very nervous about this seeing as I did not hire a wedding coordinator. As it turns out, I didn't even need one! Tina had everything under control. She is so professional, and she is great at staying calm throughout the entire process, putting her bride and bridal party at ease. She truly is a woman of many talents, including her great business skills as an event coordinator, great people/interpersonal skills to manage a bridal party with many varying personalities and preferences, and of course, providing stunning hair and makeup! My hair and makeup lasted all night long. I am so very please with how I looked on the day of my wedding- just as I had imagined. I am so glad I chose Tina and her team for my wedding day! I couldn't have done it without them.

I can't say enough good things about Tina Rodosta and her team of stylists. Tina did my makeup for 3 events during my wedding weekend and from the trial all the way through the entire weekend she was amazing. My hair and makeup looked exactly as I described/showed her through various pictures and she was so patient and responsive when I wanted to make small changes here and there. Tina and her team at Verde definitely know how to "Make Pretty" which is their tagline. They did 8 bridesmaids, my mom, my husband's mom, 8 other family members, and 4 flower girls and not one person was disappointed in how their hair and makeup turned out. Now when I say this, this is VERY rare for Indian folks to be happy with their makeup, because almost every time I, or anyone that is Indian that I know, has gotten their makeup done, we usually tend to hate it, as many have a hard time matching our skin tone/undertones/etc., but that was not the case with Verde. Not only was everyone satisfied with their hair and makeup, but we were also RIGHT ON TIME, with a few minutes to spare! Tina went above and beyond to make me beautiful, and was so much fun to work with! She did an extra trial run with me when we had some unexpected changes, she did a fantastic job keeping me touched up in 80-degree weather for my bridal pictures and even helped bustle my dress and carry flowers, and she had a drink ready and waiting when I arrived for my wedding day appointment (she knew I would need it!).
I feel that Tina provides very personalized service and has a wide range of talents. My makeup and hair were fantastic. I looked like myself, but very polished and dressed up. I was comfortable, and everything held up all evening in very humid, warm summer weather. My bridesmaids and mom also looked great, and they were all VERY happy and really enjoyed the pampering. I adored our makeup and hair stylists, Caitlin and Alyssa. They were extremely professional and talented, and also just fun to spend the day with! This can be quite important, since you do spend hours together on the big day. My entire bridal party & the mothers all raved about how amazing their hair and makeup was... each of us prefer natural-looking makeup and they made us feel like we looked special without being overdone. It was important that I still felt like myself and looked natural in photos, and this is what drew me to Verde Beauty to begin with, from what I saw in their website. I was so so happy with the overall look, and the quality of the makeup was great and lasted the whole night long (even though we did some outside photos in June!). There was only one hiccup with confusion around the start time for the day, but everyone handled it with grace and it does not hurt to have a little extra time as we get ready... the whole experience felt smooth and serene. Tina and her crew did a fabulous job on my wedding hair and makeup! I booked them for bridal portraits and my wedding and was very pleased with how everything turned out. They were on time and professional. I wanted to make a few tweaks and Tina is open to feedback and really wants you to be happy with the end result. I appreciated her willingness to make changes based on my requests. To be able to do my hair and makeup (bride) and 5 bridesmaids and mother of the bride and stay on schedule and maintain a low stress environment is a huge win on your wedding day. I was an out of state bride so checking this vendor off my list was a big relief and I am so glad they delivered on all of their promises! Thank you Tina and Verde for being so talented and awesome!

Tina was great! I am very pleased with how cooperative and informative she was. If I suggested something, she would ask why I preferred that, then suggested if it was a good idea or how to tweak it to make it better.

I was married on 10/9/10. Tina did makeup for me and my entire wedding party, as well as for my engagement photos. Being an out-of-town bride, Tina did her best to work a schedule for me to have a trial run b/f the wedding. Also I changed a few things and she had no problem with it at all. She was on time, which eases any brides mind.
I let my bridesmaids choose the look they wanted with their makeup to reflect their own personalities, and Tina was very open and receptive to what each of them wanted. Personally I had no idea what I wanted, and Tina helped me come up with the perfect Wedding Day look

Verde team did my hair and makeup and all of my bridesmaids hair and one makeup. They showed up on time and did exactly the styles we requested. I loved the girls I had. They were so friendly and nice to everyone. We had a great time getting ready with them before the wedding. Very professional and well worth the money!

The Best in Baton Rouge
I have nothing but good things to say about Tina and Jasmine with Verde. Tina did my wedding trial, Jasmine did my blowout the day before the wedding and both took excellent care of everyone the day of the wedding. They made me feel beautiful and glamorous. But, it wasn't just that. The day of the wedding the sky kept switching between storming and overcast and threatened to storm again during our outdoor ceremony that evening. Tina was super supportive, giving me breaks to freak out a little and discuss with family what do to. And, she ultimately saved the day (and my sanity) when she casually suggested I move the ceremony up to avoid the rain - which we did! Mass texts went out, the ceremony was packed and not a drop of rain fell on our beautiful hair and makeup! They are fun, easygoing and, yet, professional and talented as all get out. They also book up fast. So, if you can get them, do it! You wont regret it!

Great team, made me look and feel my best!
The crew was very kind, very efficient, personable and professional.
In the initial test, I brought inspo but did not have a clear vision of what would look best with my dress; they discussed with me and among themselves, and came up with a hairdo that was both regal and perfect for my alt side-shaved head. The makeup had a glitzy pop for New Year's Eve without overwhelming my features.
The ladies that worked on us were incredibly supportive and sweet. I highly recommend this vendor.

Tina & Bobbi were wonderful! My bridesmaids and I got SO many compliments! In fact, originally, only 1 of my bridesmaids was planning on getting her makeup done but after seeing my make up at the rehearsal dinner, the 3 remaining bridesmaids all decided to get their makeup done as well!

The ladies at Verde were flexible, professional and punctual. Also, most importantly, I loved the hair and makeup for both the wedding and my bridal shots. Everything was perfect and I had no complaints! They did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend Tina and her team for the hair and makeup for your big day!

Should have been much better
I used Verde Beauty for a wedding and paid $2000 for hair and makeup services. We were happy with the hair and makeup provided by the employees but less satisfied with the way everything was handled by Tina, the owner. I have written why I was unhappy on three sites (Google, the Knot, and Yelp) and Tina has somehow managed to get all of them removed. So, I'm not sure why I'm not allowed to share my experience but I guess I know why she has such a high rating.

Lovely Beauty Services but, Deceptive and Unprofessional Management
Verde Beauty was very difficult to work with. They are inflexible and hard to get ahold of. I struggled to contact them via email and phone. Verde beauty waits until you have no choice but proceed with hiring them, then adds additional random fees to the bill. When you ask about the fees, they ignore you.
Furthermore, I hired her for a hair and makeup trial for my bridal photos. I scheduled an appointment, and proceeded to schedule with my florist and photographer. Four days before my bridal photos, Verde calls to tell me they cannot accommodate my appointment. Obviously this was very stressful because of the multiple people involved in the photos. They claimed my artist was in NOLA that day, therefore couldn’t do my trial in BR. I was flexible with location (BR vs NOLA) because my photo session was in NOLA. I was informed that if I had my trial in NOLA, there would be an $150 travel fee. This makes no sense. They backed out on my appointment and I was trying to work with them. Why would I be charged an additional fee?
When my wedding date approached, I contacted them again to add some services to the contract. They added the services, but demanded an additional deposit of half the remaining balance on the contract. At this point, I’d paid the majority of the cost. Less than 30 days before my wedding, I was informed that there would need to be an additional artist to accommodate the number of services we requested. This added another $150 to the bill. I inquired about this, and was told I would have a dedicated artist as the bride. On my wedding day I did not have a dedicated artist. Actually, my hair and makeup was done simultaneously, causing issues with the makeup application.
Verde beauty seems to have a lot of miscommunication and management issues. The artists are great, but hiring them is not worth the headache.

To start, I hate leaving bad reviews, I really do. I was never planning on leaving a review at all but I decided to give my honest feedback after being asked to do so by the owner via email. Everything started out great with Verde. They said they had my wedding date and the cost was about the same as other salons. My first problem was that the contract process was just absolutely confusing and inconvenient. They send you a blank contract, have you fill in the services you need, total up the costs, and then send it back to them for "approval". I found that very odd and there was a lot of back and forth. The trial run went great and Sarah did a great job with my hair and makeup. She told me to keep my fake lashes so I wouldn't have to pay for more. I thought she was kidding because lashes do NOT look the same after they've been used, especially for my wedding. I had another family member want to be added for the big day. I was told that they would have to push us back to starting at 9:00am for makeup and 10:00 for hair (2 hours earlier) because they had another wedding to go do afterwards. I was never told that there was another wedding when booking them and with my wedding being at 5:30 that night, it seemed really early to start. I definitely felt like the other wedding was more important to them. Come the day of my wedding, so many things happened that just put an overall bad taste in my mouth about this business. Rachel (hair) showed up an hour early and blamed it on Tina, and then got pushy about getting started. My makeup and hair were not as good as my trial and I know it was because she was rushed. I had to completely re-curl my hair and add more makeup. We were told we owed about $60 more for the fake lashes. I told her we already paid for them because I knew because I wrote the contract myself (lol). She said Tina must have made a mistake. I showed Sarah what we paid for and she agreed. I would not recommend them, but I would recommend Sarah.

Shady business dealings
We were charged and paid the highest level for our bridal hair and make-up. Tina (the owner & highest level) wasn't able to be our artist after we rescheduled due to COVID, but still charged us for her rate, which I thought was a shady business decision since she was committed to another wedding that day and we would be assigned lower level associates. On the day of the wedding, the bride's hair and make-up was done by the same two artists who had worked on everyone else for $180 each. So, why were we charged $70 more for the bride to receive the same services by the same artists? I hope the hair and make up women at least got the extra money we paid.
