We had an incredible experience with Verbena. Jen and Marlene are absolute pros and guided us every step of the way. As a couple who isn’t particularly knowledgeable about flowers, Jen and Marlene did a great job of explaining different options we could choose from and used the color scheme for our wedding to put together stunning centerpieces, bouquets, and an arch for the alter. They also were able to integrate cuff links into a boutonniere to honor a loved one who passed before the wedding, which was touching and greatly appreciated. They had everything set up at the venue before we got there, and when we walked in with the wedding party everyone’s jaws hit the floor by how breathtaking the flowers looked for the ceremony and reception areas. Their collaborative nature and vast experience helped make our wedding the idyllic day we hoped it would be. We recommend them 1000%! Thank you, Verbena!

I cannot speak highly enough of Jennifer and the entire team at Verbena. From start to finish, they were beyond attentive and truly incredible to work with. Jennifer created a wedding bouquet to die for... it was everything I dreamed of and more. The real showstopper was our chuppah. I came to her with a vision that fused two different inspiration photos, and she didn’t just execute it, she elevated it beyond my dreams! The most stunning, breathtaking chuppah I’ve ever seen. Our guests are still talking about it. They incorporated faux candles that were so realistic and softly flickering that guests thought they were real. Every single detail was thoughtfully chosen and perfectly placed. I’m so, so grateful for the care, creativity, and genuine listening that went into bringing our vision to life. Jennifer and Verbena are truly exceptional.

If you want fairytale whimsy, these are your people!!!!

Absolutely astonishing work. Everything was breathtaking, there was not a single aspect that wasn’t gorgeous. It was everything we dreamed of and more. They were so pleasant to work with and reliable. Communication was thorough and easy. Our guests were astonished by the beauty of it all. I dont have enough words to express what a pleasure it was to have them design our wedding florals. RUN don’t walk to book Verbena!!

Best decision of my wedding

Verbena was the best decision I made for my wedding. I chose Verbena because I had no idea how to describe what I wanted for my wedding florals, and from the moment I met Marlene and Jen they were kind, patient, and helped me articulate the vision in my head. Unlike other florists I met, they actually listened to what I liked and didn't like, rather than just assuming that I wanted what was popular. They went above and beyond to create designs that were unique and out-of-the-box. They designed more than 20 centerpieces, 15 bouquets, and a chuppah that exceeded my wildest dreams, and handled such a big venue and wedding with ease. Thank you Verbena!!!

They Get The Vision!

Marlene and the Verbena team are the BEST! They came recommended to us from our venue and so we figured it was a no-brainer to go with them as they would know our venue best and how we can achieve our vision. Upon our first meeting with Marlene, that was 100% the case. She was able to walk us through every type of arrangement we may need and help us determine what could possibly be repurposed throughout the day in other locations of the venue in order to make the most of our florals. She made suggestions that gave us a lot of confidence in Verbena.

Fast forward to our centerpiece sample meeting - oh my gosh. We walked in the office and I was BLOWN AWAY by the arrangement. I had previously sent Marlene 3 totally different inspiration photos of 3 very different things and she was able to not only get my vision but execute it better than I pictured. (To be clear, as someone who wanted white florals, she really understood that I was looking for something classic yet a little unique and the arrangement was just that. Classic, timeless, but unique.)

After that meeting, for the next 5 months, Marlene was extremely responsive and helpful. The day of the wedding though was when I was most impressed with the entire Verbena team. All of my ceremony florals were being repurposed for the reception. The Verbena team executed this transition during cocktail hour but you’d genuinely never know that because I didn’t see them at all. I’m still wondering how they managed to totally transform 2 spaces without anyone seeing them!! It was incredible. Literal magic. All of the florals were gorgeous. Every detail was executed perfectly. I am still so thrilled with my table scapes. I just can’t get over it. Verbena was awesome and I truly can’t thank them enough for being a part of our day.

The most beautiful wedding flowers

I had Verbena Designs as my florist for my wedding on 8/24/23 at Sea Cliff Manor. As someone who did not care about having a lot of flowers and thinking no one would remember them, I was surprised that it was one of my favorite parts of our wedding.

We decided to reach out to Verbena Design since they were one of Sea Cliff Manor’s preferred vendors. We met with Marlene who was very informative and kind. I showed her what kind of style and colors I liked. I’ve been seeing a lot of colorful flower ideas on Instagram/pintrest and I just loved the way it looked.

When I walked into the venue on our wedding day, I saw Jen setting up the centerpieces. I had bud vases and dusty blue taped candles on each long table. I really was in awe of how stunning the flowers looked. I’ve never seen flowers so beautiful and vibrant. The bouquets were just as beautiful I wanted to hold mine all night. I have friends and family messaging me about how beautiful the centerpieces were and how nicely decorated the tables were. I’m so happy and thankful we decided to book a florist and that we chose Verbena. They really did such an incredible job and the flowers looked more stunning than I could ever imagined! You will not regret booking Verbena Design as your wedding florist I could not recommend them enough

Breathtaking & Perfect

My wedding was literally breathtaking because of the floral decor. My bouquet was dreamy, huge, and colorful. My bridal party was similar, but I was distinct. My arbor was flowing with blooms and our small reception centerpieces were the perfect touch to our wildflower, waterfront, venue. My dream of flowing with wildflowers and natural blooms came alive. Jen and her team took a vision and made it real. They made my wedding day beautiful in every way. The small touches on the memorial table, place card, and bar added the extra touch of elegance and formality. I had NO IDEA it would be this gorgeous. I am so grateful Verbena decorated my wedding. It was absolutely perfect and Jen was easy to work with, accommodating, and kind throughout the whole process. You'll regret not choosing Verbena for your wedding.

The team at Verbena took the budget i gave them and nailed every single aspect of our day. Verbena is AMAZING for Wedding Flowers!

I am SO beyond thrilled we chose Verbena to do our flowers for our wedding! Flowers were not on my top priority list but knew I needed to have them to brighten up our room and pictures. I am SO glad we went with a florist instead of me trying to DIY my centerpieces! When meeting with Jen, the owner, she was absolutely amazing from the start. We instantly clicked with her and she was so easy to work with. Jen was thorough, kind, understanding, and honest. Honesty was an important feature we looked for in our vendors. My favorite part about Jen is that she sends a VERY detailed contract that breaks down everything with notes about your wants/preferences with even visuals within it to really get a feel for the way your flowers will look the day of. She worked with us and helped us decided on the best option for our wedding and theme/color scheme while staying within our budget. Jen and her team truly have an eye for flower design! I was obsessed with my flowers on my wedding that I actually had them preserved to display in years to come. Jen was so patient with my 5 million changes as I could not make up my mind of what I wanted. She was able to guide and help me make the right decisions. We had all low centerpieces for our wedding. We had flowers within a pumpkin on half of the tables and a ring of flowers with a lantern on the other half. Her flowers were vibrant and beautiful the day of! All of my guests took home centerpieces (I really should say took and ran!!!) and I was upset because I wanted to go home with one of each and only got the pumpkin!! LOL She hand delivered the flowers the day of the wedding herself to my house as well as my fiancé's house (at the time) and all the bouquets came beautifully wrapped. Run don't walk to book Jen and her team! We will definitely be using her in the future!

Made all of our dreams come true!

I don't think there are words to describe the amazingness that the Verbena team created for us! They turned an empty castle into the most gorgeous garden of our dreams! I worked with Jen to design our first wedding (which was postponed due to Covid) and again on our rehearsal dinner and wedding that took place 14 months later. We changed venues, and the one we ended up with was nothing like the first (at a vineyard), but we really had our hearts set on a specific look. Jen, Jaime and their team turned this castle into the most magnificent garden and truly truly exceeded my wildest dreams! On top of that they are wonderfully kind, patient, and just such a pleasure to work with! I can't thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone looking for a florist for any occasion!

I worked with Verbena Designs for a recent wedding and as a wedding coordinator, let me tell you...they are amazing!! Jen and her team are so nice and easy to work with. The floral design for the couple's ceremony was gorgeous and matched the couple's theme perfectly. Their reception design was also absolutely beautiful, and they moved things seamlessly from ceremony to reception. The couple was extremely happy and they made working with them on wedding day a breeze. I 100% recommend them - you will not be disappointed!

Amazing team at verbena

We used Verbena for our wedding ceremony and reception on May 21.
Jen and her team are just exceptional. Even before we booked with Verbena and were having meetings with different florists trying to find our match, Jen was extremely thorough and sent a very detailed proposal, complete with pictures, descriptions, and quotes for every single item on our list. She was also outstanding to work with during the pandemic and put a “soft hold” on a new date for our reception if needed, no questions asked. Jen and her staff are true visionaries, and absolutely captured my vision for the centerpieces and the bouquets. I don’t know much about flowers at all. I let Jen know a color scheme I wanted to stick with, and she ran away with the rest. On the wedding day, the flowers were delivered and were well packaged and just gorgeous. They truly nailed it! We got so many compliments about our arrangements the day of the wedding. We would absolutely work with Verbena again!

Best florist

I met with a bunch of florists but ultimately went with Verbena because I felt like the others were trying to sell me on things that were more expensive and more over the top than I wanted and Jen just understood what I wanted. She also sent me photos in the proposal of what she would use based on what I wanted, did a sample centerpiece to make sure I liked what I was getting, and was super helpful along the way. My flowers were beyond beautiful and I would absolutely recommend Verbena to anyone planning a wedding.

The best of the best!

Our flowers were better than I ever could have imagined! The team at verbena is unlike any other. They brought my vision to life and then made it even better! Like many other 2020 couples, our plans changed multiple times right up until the day before. They were so flexible and easy to work with through all the changes. The bouquets, centerpieces and boutonnières were stunning. The flowers were fresh and plentiful. They perfectly executed the winter white look that I wanted. Outstanding experience with Verbena for our wedding.

Verbena Designs did an outstanding job for our wedding on November 1st, 2020. The bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely exquisite. Ours was supposed to be a June wedding but was postponed to Nov 2020 due to Covid. Best Vendor Amidst COVID-19!

I found Verbena through a referral. After meeting with a few of the bigger, well known florist companies, I had my meeting with Jen from Verbena. We really wanted to work with small businesses - it feels like you're more personal to them than juts a number. I am SO happy we went with Verbena. She has been accommodating, responsive and passionate about what she does. The biggest thing for me is that she is my best vendor throughout the postponement of my wedding due to COVID-19. I saw on her instagram that she was holding off on booking new clients for 2020 until she made sure she could accommodate all of her brides who were affected by the pandemic. She is the ONLY vendor I've seen who put her current clients above her business! We had a pre-booked consultation right when corona hit hard and I was stressed about having to potentially move my date. She was one of the only vendors who would actually talk to me like a person, give her opinion and try to cheer me up by telling me about how she got married around the same date as my new date. She stayed on the phone with my mom and I as we visioned out some of the elements I could have in a fall wedding that I couldn't do in a spring wedding. It was the only happy part of postponing my wedding. So happy I went with Verbena

Wonderful people who do beautiful work

Verbena was easy to work with from day one. They worked with me to create a package within my budget at my consultation, and sent me a very clean and detailed proposal which laid out all the individual costs. I’m not someone who knows a ton about flowers, and Jen guided me through the process gracefully. I showed her some pictures of what I liked, and she took it and ran with it from there. No surprises, no extra fees along the way, and always pleasant and responsive. They do a mockup of your centerpieces, which was a relief because I got to see exactly what I was getting rather than just imagining it, so that I could make any adjustments (though I didn’t have to). Delivery went smoothly even when my venue changed the delivery time on them for centerpieces. Everything came out absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful and Creative Floral Arrangements

Verbena -- a staple in our household. After my brothers beautiful floral arrangements in 2017, we knew we needed to use Verbenas talent for our special day. They took an idea for a Christmas tree arch and made this spectacular, dreamy backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Jaime and Jen were super responsive via email and phone as well, which was a great perk as we were planning from out of state. Absolute perfection

I gave Jamie at Verbena a general idea of what I wanted and she brought my dreams to life! The greenery and candles have my wedding a romantic outdoorsy beautiful feel that I could only have dreamed of! Pictures can’t possibly capture the feeling that I felt when walking in and seeing the twinkling candles everywhere surrounded by greenery. My bouquet was perfection with the pops of burgundy. I recommend them to every single bride I know!!

Best florist!

Over the course of planning my wedding I learned that not a lot of people had heard of Verbena Florists in the wedding circuit, and I was absolutely SHOCKED. Do not sleep on them, they are hands-down the BEST florist I’ve ever encountered and I whole-heartedly recommend them.
The people who work at Verbena are some of the kindest, nicest, and talented people I’ve ever worked with. When you have your consultation they give you all of their attention and time, and you can look through samples of their amazing work. They also have lots of nice flowers and sample pieces (like bouquets and such) in their store, so it’s incredibly easy to find inspiration and ideas. During the consultation they give you great feedback on what is possible, which flowers are in bloom during which season, which flowers to use to make your centerpieces look more full if you’re on a budget, and which would look best with your color palette. They truly are professionals and know their flowers inside-and-out.
I also over-estimated how many centerpieces I would need. I figured I’d have to pay for it, because it was in the contract, but they very kindly told me that it was OK and they lowered the number! How amazing is that! I feel like everything about wedding planning is trying to avoid getting price-gouged and taken advantage of, and here is this amazing company that actually wants to work with you and help you.
The flowers were delivered exactly on time, in nice boxes with plenty of water, and guests were raving about how beautiful they looked! ALL of the centerpieces were gone by the end of the wedding by guests who took them home (which is what we intended, so they don’t go to waste) and my mom took two of them and told me that they only started wilting two weeks later. I think that’s amazing and speaks to the quality of their stock and how well they work.
I know that Verbena is the preferred vendor to a few catering halls, but honestly they deserve to be the preferred vendor for all of Long Island! They’re a wonderful group of people to work with, who produce beautiful results. 10/10, highly, highly recommended!

The most wonderful experience with a florist that brought our vision to life

We had the most wonderful experience with Verbena Designs. From the initial consultation, Jen (the owner and manager of the shop) was extremely friendly and helpful. She walked us through everything she thought we would need for our wedding day, making sure we didn't forget anything. She listened carefully to our vision for the day. Jen had amazing suggestions for flower types we could use for our arrangements that were within our budget. She also made some suggestions of color combinations that would work with our basic color scheme. She made an amazing suggestion to add flowers with a raspberry color to our arrangements in order to add a pop of color, which made all of the difference and brought the arrangements to another level.

Verbena had worked at our wedding venue countless times, which was great because they all knew exact numbers of tables and measurements they needed for some of the arrangements we requested. It made planning so much easier and less stressful.

After signing our contract, the Verbena team was very patient with us as we made a few changes, such as adding new floral arrangements, changing the number of centerpieces we needed, or making changes to certain designs/colors. They were very flexible scheduling a visit to see a sample of our centerpieces and were always quick to respond to our emails and questions.

On our wedding day, they arrived promptly with all of our flowers, delivering to two different locations, as we had requested. They even brought a few loose flowers (at my request) for the photographer to use in styling photos. All of our florals were absolutely amazing - even better than we could have imagined. Verbena really brought our vision to life. Everybody had amazing things to say about our florals, particularly the bouquets and the beautiful arrangement in the ceremony pergola. Verbena helped me create my dream wedding.

Verbena was one of my favorite wedding vendors, along with our photographer. We found them through our venue– they did all the flowers and decor at the showcase and I absolutely loved everything. We got their contact info that day and I reached out to them the next day. We scheduled a meeting with Jenn, where we went over their questionnaire, shared with her a pinterest board of what I liked, and basically told her I loved everything from the showcase. From there, we sat down and hashed through all the rough details we had at that point and she drew up a proposal. They do 2 weddings a day and were available on our date, so we booked right away, without hesitation. Once I got home, I had a full proposal with all the details laid out and pictures of all the flowers that would be included (what normal person knows the names of all these flowers?). As the wedding got closer, our budget got tighter. We talked to Jenn about tweaking it to get the price down to a part where we were comfortable, without compromising too much and she helped discuss our options. When I walked into my venue that day, I was blown away. Everything was even more beautiful than I ever could've envisioned myself. Jenn and her team took what was already an amazingly beautiful venue and brought it to an unworldly level. Even guests who pay little attention to those kinds of things asked us who did our flowers and decor. I tell everyone who asks (and maybe even some that don't ask) to choose Verbena. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I went into planning with a vague idea of what we wanted the decor at our wedding to look like. Jenn took our ideas and turned them into something better than either of us ever expected. The highlight of the decor was the breathtaking arbor her and her team created. It was all so stunning. Her and her team made the image in our heads come to life and she made the process effortless. From the start we were confident in her ability to create what we wanted. After we went to see a sample of the centerpieces I couldn't wait to see how she would transform our venue. Verbena did not disappoint!

Amazing experience and gorgeous product

I started following Verbena on social media. I could not help notice how consistent their work was and always so stunning. A friend of mine used them for her wedding and the next day I booked an appointment to meet with Jamie. Their work was so beautiful. I showed Jamie some pictures and the vibe I wanted and she did the rest. They were so accommodating with my budget and able to create the look I wanted with everything in season. They flowers lasted so long after the wedding and I had the most stunning pergola to get married in front of. Truly so happy I have recommended to everyone I know because I loved working with them. Jamie personally delivered our flowers and was even 15 minutes early. Truly awesome!

Amazing!

We used Verbena designs for a few Wedding related events. My sister and mother used them for my bridal shower. Jaime is BEYOND talented! She, along with the vision of my sister and mother, created the most beautiful Bridal shower I think anyone had ever been to. Jaime also created centerpieces for my mom’s house for the day of the Wedding that were absolutely breathtaking. Finally, Jaime created the most beautiful and perfect centerpieces for the venue at Sea Cliff Manor. She also created bouquets that would take your breathe away, as well as boutonnieres that were just perfect! My husband and I loved the flower, anemone, but since it was out of season, Jaime put together two other types of flowers to mimic them. No one knew and they were some of the favorite flowers amongst them all! The church was also decorated perfectly. Jaime was SO easy to communicate with and so flexible for all our meetings. She was perfectly on time for all the events. Verbena designs, Jaime in particular, was AMAZING. We would recommend this florist for ANY event you may have. Do not look anywhere else, just choose them!!

Verbena Design provides excellent quality service and extremely easy to work with. Jen is a consummate professional and brilliant at her trade. She made wedding planning easy and stress-free with her creative ideas and positive attitude. I really enjoyed working with her. I was in awe when the flowers arrived at how big and beautiful the bouquets were, they exceeded my expectations. Creative, Stunning, Abundant, Fresh Flowers

All I can say is wow!!! Jen and her team provided me with the wedding flowers of my dreams. We had a massive wedding with a very diverse group and Verbena delivered us the most abundant, full and fresh flowers. They were absolutely stunning, unique and exactly what I had envisioned. They really were able to transform my vision and direction into the most gorgeous arrangement of flowers. The flowers were also so incredibly fresh that the whole room smelled like we were standing in a garden/field of flowers. I also want to thank Jen and her team for how patient and accommodating she was for me and my family. I had so many questions, changed my mind a bunch of times and vented wedding anxiety to her. Every time she calmed me down with such patience and love. I still am obsessing over the awesome job she did and my bouquet is the background of my phone - every time I look at it it makes me smile. Amazing Florist from Start to Finish

It's simple - Verbena is the best! When I started looking into florists for my October 2018 wedding, I really didn't have any idea where to begin. Verbena was 1 of 3 florists I met with, and after meeting with Jaime and Jen the decision became a no-brainer. All I told them was I wanted to incorporate sunflowers and some greenery into my centerpieces and bouquets, and they created the most BEAUTIFUL sunflower and eucalyptus combination I have ever seen. My bouquet had white roses as well and I am still being complimented about my flowers! Many guests told me it was the most beautiful bouquets they had ever seen. During my final meeting with them, they gave me a sunflower to bring home to my grandmother who is suffering with dementia - I will never forget their thoughtfulness. They are a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend to all brides!

Verbena did an AMAZING job on all my flowers for my wedding. I had a difficult time finding a florist who understood my vision, and Verbena nailed it. I wanted a special flower piece in my hair and they created a beautiful one for both my trial and day of. They also created beautiful baby's breath flower crowns for my bridesmaids. I had many compliments on my flowers, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Verbena!

Verbena designs is simply amazing!!! They were the only florist recommended by my venue and I can now see why. I am beyond happy that I went with them. I worked mostly with Jamie and also met once with Jen and they were both a dream to work with. I really did not know much about flowers, except for the colors and centerpiece style that I wanted, when I first called. I sent Jamie a few photos from pinterest and she literally brought my vision to life. I cried when I first received and read her proposal. She is truly a master at what she does!! Jamie was so professional each step of the way and I felt like I was in the best hands during the entire planning process. I cannot even begin to explain how Jen at Verbena Designs made all my wedding dreams come true. I actually had a lot of trouble finding a florist—I met with many people and I just didn’t feel that they understood my vision—until I met Jen. A couple things that drew me in:
1. She listens—she REALLY listens. She doesn’t want to sell you on anything, she wants to hear what you envision and then she brings it to life.
2. She smiles and laughs—this is important. You want your vendors to be people that you WANT to see on your wedding day—Jen is one of those people. I walked into my wedding venue, took one look at the chuppah that she BUILT FOR ME FROM SCRATCH and we embraced in a big hug!
3. She is insanely organized—she has her business down to a science. She had me “try on” different bouquets for size (never saw this done anywhere else!) andddd her contract was seriously a work of art!!! Now I’m not one to study a contract, but when I opened it I immediately called my mom and said: “I just received the most brilliant contract I’ve ever seen!” Jen keeps it organized in a way that makes sense, along with VISUALS!! I was seriously sold.
4. She doesn’t stop working ever—she always has her clients visions in her head. She saw a fallen branch on a persons property, thought of me and what I wanted for my chuppah, rang the persons doorbell and asked for the fallen branch—she used it to create my EXACT vision.
5. She communicates very well—she was always quick to respond and flexible with my decisions (as I did make some changes along the way, including ON my wedding day!).
6. Oh and did I mention her office/studio!? Organization queen to the max, amazing staff, and overall an unbelievable experience!!

Verbena did a beautiful job, and worked with us so well to bring our vision to life! I would just describe the vibe of the wedding day and they were able to come up with the most beautiful flowers on the spot that fully matched our taste. For the men, the boutonniere's were succulents which both matched all of our flowers and were a huge HIT and totally different. I was obsessed with my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets which were ethereal and stunning and unique. Everyone is also so kind and I loved working with them!

My wife and I got married in May of 2018. Our venue had recommended Verbena due to their exceptional reputation. We are incredibly thankful that they did so! We knew nothing about flowers. We called various popular local florists in the area, and it always felt like a sales pitch. When we met at Verbena, the staff took the time to teach us about flowers, color schemes, and what complimented our venue. We were not rushed by any means! They are SO organized. Prior to the wedding they provided samples of our center pieces. Our contract was immediately printed with photos depicting the flower styles and colors we had chosen. The florist worked with our budget and our flowers were stunning. On our wedding day, the Verbena crew worked diligently to make everything perfect. We 100% recommend going in for a consultation meeting, you will be SO pleased!!

My Husband and I were very discouraged when it came to picking a florist. Each meeting we had went poorly and we didn't feel we were ever going to agree on a florist.. until we met with Jamie and Jen at Verbena. I cannot even explain how amazing they were. They were so professional and on top of everything every step of the way. After our first meeting, they provided a formal proposal with pictures of potential flowers and color schemes, which I loved. We told them our color was coral and we wanted to match that as best as possible. I provided them with a swatch of my bridesmaids dresses and they rolled with it. We were able to see a sample centerpiece a few months prior to the wedding which was incredibly helpful (and the sample was beautiful). EVERYTHING went smoothly the day of the wedding. They did our centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, flowers for my hair, and our ceremony decor. For the ceremony, we had an archway, petals down the aisle, and bouquets on every few rows. The archway was more perfect and beautiful then I pictured. For a couple who did not think we cared at all about the flowers, we were so pleasantly surprised how much we loved them. I would recommend Verbena in a heartbeat.

Verbena has the most beautiful work and I was dying to book them the minute I saw some of their photos on social media. They were recommended to me by The Inn at New Hyde Park and given the rustic feel I was going for, my event planner told me they would probably be the perfect fit. Jaime and Jen were so easy to work with - always answering me and giving honest advice on what would work best with the venue and my vision. They reviewed all our details each time I asked and were so accommodating of my changes. We used them for boutonnieres, bouquets, centerpieces, decor walking down the aisle, flowers above the alter and decor for our place card table. I was in complete awe when I walked into our venue and saw how beautiful they made our tables and centerpiece table look, including during the ceremony when I walked down the aisle. Everything shocked me and exceeded my expectations. They also made mine and my bridesmaids bouquets better than I ever could have imagined. When I was initially shopping around for other florists, they were able to match the price and their customer service was perfect. I highly recommend Verbena for any event.

Jen and the Verbena team did an amazimg job with my wedding flowers! I went in with some pictures but I was alittle all over the place. Jen was wonderful. I wish i can give this company more stars. They WERE AMAZING. You get what you pay for. She was amazing. All i wanted was trees for my center pieces and thats what i got. I dealt with Jenn and she was a dream. So understanding. She took everything i said in consideration and went above and beyond. I didnt want the conventional flowers for centerpieces. I asked for trees and wood and vines. She created the most amazing centerpieces for me. She even went extra and decorated more on the walls and made sure everything looked top notch. I gave her artistic freedom to do whatever the hell she wanted. That's how much faith i had in her. She was THE MOST pleasant vendor i dealt with. If you are looking for someone creative, understanding, giving, genuinely giving a hoot about your event this is the person to deal with. Her staff were amazing. They all cared, they all wanted this to look its best and i am so impressed by her hands. You have to book with this company, by far easiest pay, loving staff...i can go on for days! Verbena Designs was absolutley wonderful to work with! I met with Jenny and told her my vision and she was absolutely wonderful in executing it! Throughout the process I had a few changes and they were able to accommodate without a problem! The centerpieces, corsages, boutonnieres, and bouquets were absolutely beautiful. They also make one complementary centerpiece so that you can see what it would look like and make any changes, which absolutely puts your nerves to rest. From the first sit down with Jen I knew we had to go with Verbena for our florist. She was thorough, extremely kind and detailed from the beginning, much more than any other florist I met with. Throughout the months leading up to it both Jen and Jamie answered my emails and questions in a timely fashion and brought my dreams to life day of the wedding. Our archway was stunning, I am obsessed with the pictures but their creativity amazes me. Our bouquets, boutonnières and corsages were also made with beautiful flowers and arranged perfectly. Verbena Designs - yes yes yes! My fiance and I knew we wanted a lot of colorful flowers - oranges, pinks, reds, yellows, hints of blue - but since we know nothing about flowers, we had no idea where to start. In our very first meeting with Jen we knew we were in good hands. Together we brainstormed ideas, as she listened and took creative liberty with many of our wishes. She came up with 3 different centerpiece styles based on what we asked for, and each one came out incredible! We loved that our initial quote came with pictures of the flowers she was thinking of using, and when we had our sample centerpiece showing, I cried because it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. We asked for simple decor on the ceremony pavilion, and it was perfect. Aisle decor - spot on. And the bouquets - wow. Simply stunning. Every detail, no matter how subtle, was well thought through and executed flawlessly. It was so exciting to arrive to our venue and see it all put into place. Again, we gave Jen and her team creative license since she's the professional, but my sister used them also and had more specific ideas in mind that they followed to a T, all the while ensuring everything was tasteful and artistically done. I have recommended Verbena to many friends and will continue to do so. You will not be disappointed!

We used Verba this past weekend for our wedding and they did an amazing job! We worked with Jen and she was so helpful and fun to work with. She even made special boutineers out of my husbands late father's handkerchiefs. Verbena is the best! They truly went above and behind for us. I was very impressed with the level of detail. They decorated every room beautifully, right down to the flower petals on the decoration tables. I pretty much just told Jen shades of coral and lots of texture and she did a phenomenal job! I was referred to Verbenas by my coworker. The first meeting with Jen ( The Owner) I was sold. She is personable, professional & and knows how to make your vision come to life according to your budget . The day of the wedding she came on time. All our bouquets including mines ( the Bride) was placed in the bridal suite. Everything I asked for she did. Even my pearl wrap for the stem of the bouquet she was able to do, and was gorgeous! I couldn't be happier with my experience with Verbena Designs! I know nothing about flowers: prior to my wedding, my mom made me make a Pinterest of what I thought was pretty, and that was all I had. Jaime from Verbena used that as a spring board to put together beautiful floral arrangements that were exactly our taste. Throughout the process, Jaime was my point person - she was always friendly and accessible. Verbena sent reminders when payments were due and consistently asked questions to ensure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Flowers were delivered right on time to three separate locations - the bouquets were delivered in glass vases to help keep them fresh, and everything was clearly labeled with what it was and who it was for. The price was very fair and like I said, the flowers were all gorgeous. Go Verbena!

if i could post pictures of how gorgeous our flowers were and how amazingly beautiful and big the sunflowers i would and if you see them you would hire verbena in a heartbeat. It ended up being a hurricane on our wedding day and they were able to transform the indoor space into what we had originally planned for the outdoor ceremony. Jen is amazing and accommodating. she creates a sample of your centerpieces for you to see them before you make your final decision which is perfect because you can actually see what they will look like the day of before the day of. No one is as wonderful as Jen and Verbena Florist.

Jen is beyond amazing! This is the second time I used her, and with this being the most important event (my wedding) I knew right away I wanted Verbena to do my flowers. Jen is the most creative, easy going, amazing person Ive met in this industry. There are vendors out there that are consumed with making the most money they forget that they are creating memories for a person's special day. The prices are amazing, the work is impeccable! She delivered my flowers to two different sites and stayed there until I arrived on location after she delivered my flowers to me hours before. Jen and the staff at Verbena far exceeded any expectations I had for flowers and design at my wedding. I didn't come into the wedding planning process with any exact vision of how I wanted the flowers or room to look but Jen was able to take my scattered ideas (lots of candles, nothing too stiff, romantic flowers) and create such a beautiful space! We got far more then I expected for the price and I couldn't be happier that we chose Verbena for our florist.

Verbena Designs made our wedding look right out of a Better Homes & Gardens Magazine. They took the brides taste and took it to such a level of beauty, that our photographer couldn't stop snapping photos of the set up. Everyone kept talking about how beautiful the floral arrangements were weeks after the wedding. These florists are true artists. They gave us complimentary candles to place on tables which truly gave our wedding a classy and sophisticated look. They placed rose petals around all the tables to help enhance and bring out the color scheme. We were even lucky enough that we were able to take home and preserve the bouquets well into six months after the wedding. We highly recommend Verbena Designs for your upcoming wedding or any special affair!

I used Verbena Designs for my wedding in August and I cannot even begin to explain how much I loved my flowers. I'll have to update my review when my pictures come back because words do not do it justice.
Everything was just perfect, from the center pieces to the cake topping. You could see the amount of hard work that went into everything. Prior to leaving for our honeymoon, I took apart some of my bouquet to save the succulents and I couldn't believe the amount of detail that went into everything. I'm a plant/flower girl and Verbena went above and beyond my expectations.

Verbena absolutely made our wedding. They were UNBELIEVABLE to work with and the flowers stole the show. They were incredible. Every detail thought through and absolutely gorgeous. I still have people calling me to tell me how much they loved the flowers. People were taking them at the end of the night and rightfully so! They lasted a week past our wedding and the venue even reused them for an event the next day. It was like they took the exact image from my head and made it real. They truly made our wedding incredible (and I'm a tough critic!) and we can't thank them enough!

Jennifer and her staff did the flowers for my daughter's wedding and they were exquisite . She was wonderful to work with and was able to put my daughter's vision of what she wanted and translate that into the most beautiful centerpieces and bouquets. We left the flowers on the altar of our church and the day after the wedding I heard some of the parishioners mentioned how stunning they looked. We would strongly recommend Verbena Designs.

My friend recommended using Verbena Designs for my New Years Eve wedding. I contacted Jennifer and she was very sweet and professional throughout the planning process. Jennifer worked within our budget and did not compromise elegance or overall look for price. She offered suggestions for alternate flowers so that we could achieve a desired look for a more affordable price. Jennifer also provided great suggestions for other details within our wedding. We used lots of candles and lanterns, which she helped with. She even offered to paint two large vases to hold NYE blowers. Our tasteful high/low centerpieces were perfect and Jennifer’s use of candles and small votives around the venue space really transformed the ambiance of the room. Jennifer even transformed the church in 15 minutes from overwhelming Christmas poinsettias to a warm winter ceremony (thank you again for that!). We appreciate all your hard work and creativity, Jennifer! You and your team really achieved the look we wanted for our wedding day.

Upon meeting with them, I just got a good vibe. Jen was down to earth and made me feel comfortable - these were very important elements for me. Jen was AMAZING! My flowers were absolutely stunning - everything that I had dreamed of. When I told my friends that the owner personally came to my home to deliver my flowers and then went to my venue to set up, they are shocked. Verbena was awesome. I met with them explained what I wanted or more importantly what I did not want and I got exactly what I had pictured. OMG the flowers for my daughter's 10/25/14 wedding were absolutely breathtaking! I cant thank Jen enough for her amazing service. Since I live in Florida and my daughter in Boston- all of the coorespondance was over the phone, we only meet with Jen and Jaime 3 weeks before the wedding- When we got there they were spot on with our vision ! The day of the wedding all the flowers were just amazing from the bridal flowers to the center peices - they looked fresh throughout the day and into the night ! When considering a florist- I felt I got better service and advice from this smaller shop than the two larger places I called. You wont regret making a call to them -

All I can say was Jen was AMAZING ... She's extraordinarily talented, yet a warm person who understands your needs and wants. Jen was more them willing to sit down with is and discuss all aspects of the wedding on numerous occasion with no problems. She arrived early to my house on the wedding and even brought an extra buttoner for the groom. Our bouquets were breathtaking and the centerpieces made the room glow. After visiting multiple florists for our wedding, Verbena was competitively/fairly priced. From the moment we stepped into Verbena Design's shop, we knew we loved their work. We met with Jen and she was so easy to talk to and really listened to what we wanted. She had beautiful, easy to reference photos of different flowers and pictures from other events. She offered great ideas and advice. She was not pushy in any way and made us feel relaxed and at ease. She kept in constant communication and I felt confident in her work. She even offered a free sample centerpiece as part of our contract. She didn't have to change a thing, they were perfect! The day of the wedding, the flowers were exactly what we discussed but even more beautiful. Jen was friendly, honest and punctual. Each time I look at my photos, I just LOVE how my flowers looked! Jenn and Verbena Designs were so wonderful to work with! My bouquet was beautiful and the centerpieces and aisle runners were exactly as I imagined them. I loved Verbena designs. They were amazing, everything I explained that I liked she turned into the most beautiful centerpiece displays. The colors were so vibrant. All I can say is...WOW!!!!! Verbena Designs was absolutely fantastic throughout the planning and execution of our wedding day. They decorated the ceremony room and reception as well as provided all of the personal flowers for the wedding party and family. I went through tons and tons of images online to try to figure out what the flowers should look like, I sent them ALL to Verbena and Jaime was able to take what I sent and created a masterpiece. One of the best parts about Verbena is that they created samples of our centerpieces a few months ahead of time (using fake flowers to replace those that weren't in season yet) so we could actually SEE what we were buying. This was SO important and they were the ONLY florists we found that would do this at no extra cost and so far ahead of time. We have gotten so many compliments on how gorgeous the decor was at our wedding and so many people raved about the flowers and took them home after. When the flowers arrived on the big day, we were all just gushing over how fantastic they looked. Throughout the planning process, I was ALWAYS able to contact Verbena at any time and someone would get back to me so quickly, I felt like a priority and like I was in really great hands. They were willing to adjust things to stay within our budget without comprimising the esthetic of our designs. Really, Verbena was a pleasure to work with and worth every penny. LOVE THEM!!

This review is long overdue as Jen is simply amazing!!!! I had met with a few florists before her to explain my vision for our big day, and all seemed to be providing me with cookie cutter suggestions to my ideas, when I was really trying to do a lot of creative things that I had never seen at a wedding before. Upon meeting with Jen, I started to explain various ideas that I had in mind, and we just instantly clicked- she understood exactly what I was looking for. It was clear that she truly loves what she does, and we had so much fun brainstorming different ideas and creative ways to execute them! If it was something that she hadn’t done before, it was obvious that it only inspired and excited her even more. My daughter visited Verbena first with her fiance because we live out of town. After visiting a few other florists, she was immediately put at ease by Jaime and Jen. The shop is small and welcoming. Our daughter felt like they listened to her vision and did not try to push their own ideas. We met with Jen about 6 weeks before the July wedding. The sample centerpiece was not exactly what our daughter had in her mind, and Jen adjusted a few things right then, and it was beautiful. But nothing could compare to our delight when we saw all the bouquets and centerpieces on the wedding day. They were absolutely gorgeous and we were so thrilled with how Jen brought it all together. It was a very hot summer day, and she adjusted to the heat and decorated the outside ceremony site at the very last minute so the flowers would not wilt. Everything looked amazing and it was such a joy to work with Verbena. They also were very professional and specific in their proposal and contract, so there were no issues during the entire process. Verbena was reasonably priced and I would highly recommend their services.

Jaime and Jen at Verbena were an absolute pleasure to work with. They also did the flowers for my bridal shower, which were gorgeous as well. I had no knowledge of flowers at all, but they were able to help me put my visions into reality. They created 3 different centerpieces, and beautiful bouquets. I was so thrilled with how everything turned out, it was exactly what I had wanted. They're so sweet, very responsive, and very patient with questions and changes. I highly recommend them.

Working with Verbena Designs was a dream! They were so responsive and really listened to what we wanted. When we sat down with Jennifer, the owner, she really took her time and went over so many different options. She was also the only florist that emailed us a proposal complete with pictures after our first meeting. We booked with her right away after that! From the time of our booking to our wedding day, someone was always available to answer our questions. They also were very willing to incorporate some personal touches for me. I had my father's wedding ring which I wanted to incorporate into my bouquet. Jaime did this at my house the day of the wedding by attaching it with a ribbon. She didn't want me to feel as though I had to leave the ring with her ahead of time and I really appreciated her flexibility. They also beautifully added flowers from my mother's headpiece into my bouquet. The boutonnieres were exactly what we wanted, as well. Everything was dropped off early and set up as it should be at the venue and church. My only slight unhappiness with them was that I thought the centerpieces would be bigger. When we saw them for the sample they seemed bigger than what was on the table at our venue. This could simply be that they looked smaller on our big venue tables than on the table at their showroom. I am still so happy that we went with Verbena and I would definitely recommend them. Their work is gorgeous!!

A friend of mine had used Verbena for her wedding and had highly recommended them. From our initial meeting I knew they were the perfect florist for my May 10, 2013 wedding. Jamie made me feel very comfortable and clearly understood my vision for the wedding day. Her suggestions were spot-on. I was very nervous to see a sample of the floral arrangement. I was completely blown away by what Jamie has created. It was exactly what I had wanted and even more. It was absolutely breathtaking. Jamie, Jen and the team were always available to answer questions and were exceptionally accommodating. My fiance did not want the boutonnieres to have pins on them since he and his groomsmen were wearing suits they had purchased. Jamie immediately made a recommendation to use magnets which worked out perfectly- they stayed on the whole night of the wedding. Jamie and her team arrived early to the reception hall. The bouquets, boutonnieres, cocktail table flowers, and reception arrangements came out beautiful. I highly recommend using Verbena!

I booked Verbena after booking our venue. We worked on a contract, that I made little changes to up until a few weeks before the wedding. Jaime and Jennifer were very accommodating and made sure to get back to me within 24hrs of sending an email. I will admit that I did not have a large budget set aside for our flowers, but Verbena made such beautiful bouquets and centerpieces! Our guests loved our flowers. And the best part is that they only make arrangements for one event per day, so you know you will have their best efforts at hand.
