Elegance at its finest!

The Venus de Milo in Swansea, MA, re-opened last year and is better then ever! It’s clear that this is a family-owned and operated business because of the warm, personal touches in every detail. You can feel the pride and care that goes into running this exceptional facility, and it really makes a difference.

The recent renovations are breathtaking! The moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped into a luxurious 5-star hotel. The modern yet timeless elegance of the space makes it the perfect venue for any event. Everything about the facility is pristine, sophisticated, and welcoming.

I also had the pleasure of attending their New Year’s Eve party, and it was unforgettable! The buffet was absolutely incredible every dish was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented, especially the Prime Rib and Lobster Newburg. The decor was stunning, with attention to detail that created a magical atmosphere. The live band kept everyone on their feet dancing the night away, making it one of the best NYE celebrations I’ve ever attended. Highly Recommend!

Venus de Milo is known for their quality and I can agree with that. I changed my contact person with them to Nancy, she has been doing this for a long time, she knows every in and out of the business including outside suggestions other than the reception. She helped us have everything we wanted. We were able to bring our decorations the day before. We provided directions and they set up our tables and centerpieces absolutely beautifully and perfectly. The food was great, the dessert was great (included in our package). Every thing was organized. My contact for that night ran things past me as necessary. My only complaint is that the servers kept taking people's drinks off the table when they were nowhere near done with them. Many people complained they didn't get to drink their drinks. I didn't get to finish mine either and it was on a sweetheart table. Also, some people never got their cake, even when others at the table received theirs. Overall, a great experience and very organized.

The Venus de Milo was great! The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was amazing as always. My guests loved that they could take home the left over soup! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I just got married at the Venus de Milo a couple weeks ago and it was amazing! I learned about the venue when I attended another annual event years ago and it was a great experience. So when I got engaged, it was the first place that came to mind. Booking and planning with them went super smoothly. We had a ceremony outside by the water which was beautiful and a fun reception and dinner inside. The food of course was delicious and the staff was super friendly and helpful. 5 stars!

Absolutely wonderful venue! They made our wedding day extra special! Staff were very friendly and professional, and they were welcoming to our guests. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Had my daughter's wedding on the Venus this past Friday (9/25/15). It turned out beautiful. It was a pleasure working with Nancy who was very accommodating to all my needs. She made it all come together beautiful from the ceremony, through the cocktail hour, to the reception. The room was set up just the way we had envisioned it to be. The food was delicious. Can't say enough about the service. Would highly recommend them for your next function.

Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! They made the day perfect!!! The ceremony was wonderful, the food was superb! The service was magnificent! Jen was awesome! She put us at ease that she would be there to take care of everything and that everything was done right. All my guests were very happy with the type of food and the amount. They just bringing more out as they noticed that platters were getting low on the tables.

The Venus de Milo was absolutely amazing. My husband and I could not have been more pleased. The food was delicious. The staff was polite, friendly and truly cared that we got what we wanted. They allowed us to come in the day before and set up our room with our decorations and they also hung all of our ceiling decorations for us. They room looked perfect. They even allowed us to do a last minute menu change. We were so pleased with them.

Robb Desimone and Lenny. Are the best people to work with. They treat you like family. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. And I would recommend them for any function. I can't say enough. For what they did for us.

Let me just say that VENUS DE MILO is the place for your wedding! My wedding reception on Oct 4, 2013 was FLAWLESS!

The new Director of Sales- Robb, is the most amazing person to work with. If you request something or have an idea, he will make it happen. Robb has extensive experience in the event industry and brings a whole new light to Venus de Milo! I wanted little touches to make my night special and set apart from the rest. EVERYTHING was accommodated!!!

Big Joe was my Maitre D for my bridal shower (also at Venus) and my wedding! Joe was truly a blessing! He took EXTRA care of not only my husband and I, but my whole wedding party and our immediate families. Anything that we needed throughout the night- Joe was right there. He is really good at what he does and I am so thankful he was a part of the day. He made the whole night run smooth!

Venus has updated the apps and entrees menu while keeping their classic favorites. The food is amazing and the chefs specially catered to my guests with certain food allergies. We had the beef, chicken and fish on our menu and all of my guests were talking about how excellent the food was. The service was excellent, (Thank you, Pauline!). I even had a few people who didn't show up last minute. Venus gave us the extra food, which ended up being a god-send so we didn't have to cook the next day. This venue is SO worth the money.

I am so happy to say that I had my wedding at the Venus de Milo. It's a classy establishment and they know how to host a huge event! I was so calm on my wedding day because I trusted my vendors and the people involved. Even after we got back from our honeymoon, all my guests have been saying is - it was the best wedding they've ever been to. As a bride, its a nice feeling to know that the most memorable day of your life is also very memorable to your guests. BOOK VENUS DE MILO!!!

I love the Venus De Milo! I had my wedding there and many other functions before! The food is great, the staff is always friendly! They sure know what they are doing. I would recommend them for weddings and any other functions.

Venus did a wonderful job of customizing our wedding to make it unique for us. Whatever we requested, they did the best that they could to meet our needs. Responses were quick, value was incredible, food was delicious, room was beautiful, service impeccable...what more could you ask for! Don't skip over the Venus on your search for a perfect reception location. Save your money and make the best memories of your life there :)

They did an absolutely wonderful job for our wedding reception. Lenny was our matre de and was very attentive and always there when we needed something. The staff provided outstanding service throughout our reception.

We party until 1 in the morning. It look so great. They got everything right. They work with your budget. at the end of the night they us two bottle of champagne one for that night and one to open a yeat later. I would tell everyone about this place.

Everyone was absolutly amamzing and accomodating. The food was good and all of my guests had a great time.

We even had one guest get sick(not from anything having to do with venus)and they packed up dinner for the whole family and sent it to the hospital with them.

This was a great place to have the party that started our brand new life together.

Venus De Milo has such an elegant atmosphere for an excellent price. My husband and I had a small wedding. About 30 people all together and we planned our wedding about a month in advance. Venus De Milo was very understanding and helpful. We called many times to change the number of guests without any problems. All of the staff was very easy to deal with. I would recommend Venus to anyone who asked.

My wedding reception was absolutely perfect. Everything went beautifully and the service was impeccable. They had everything under control as they are experienced planners. We didn't have to worry about anything, they took care of it all. They also allowed my mom work to work with the event designer to decorate the room exactly how we wanted it. Every guest was absolutely in awe on how beautiful and picture perfect every detail was. I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married. My family has been using this venue for family parties for years. The food is amazing. Everyone is still raving about the food and the decor after the wedding. The waitstaff was very courteous and meticulous. I would recommend this venue very much.

Management was great. They were professional during all the meetings and timely the night of. They bought everyone at the head table a drink and the night moved like clock work. The food was excellent.

The amosphere at the Venus De Milo is the perfect setting for any wedding reception. I had a majority of my pictures taken here and they were beautiful. The staff was there to cater to my needs and those of my guests. I was able to tell them what I wanted rather than someone telling me what THEY wanted. The price was reasonable and the food is excellent!

We knew going in that Venus had an excellent track record and we were very happy with how our wedding went. Everything started on time and the staff was very friendly and professional. The food was delicious and a menu was provided that was different than the typical boring choices you get at other venues. We would highly recommend them to other couples.

They made the hall look like a wedding that you see on television. It was picture perfect. They kept making sure everything was good, and took care of any requests we had, like make sure my dad had coffee at all times.

The rooms are beautiful and it surely brings a lot to the table with that alone. The food is fantastic. We served stuffed chicken and prime rib and everyone loved it. Also the soup- everyone says they could have made a meal of just that, it is soo good. Staff is very helpful and we had a great night. They didnt even complain when we where suppose to be out by 1 and we didnt get everyone out till 1 30

The staff from the Venus de Milo were all fantastic. They did everything they could do to help out with last minute issues that we had setting up. The food was great. We got a lot of compliments from the guests especially about the minestrone soup which was served family style. Wonderful experience overall!!!

My wedding reception was wonderful..Everything went smoothly. The maitre' d was great, he was so helpful. He had everything under control. I didn't have to worry about anything, they took care of it all. They also decorated the room exactly how I wanted it, and it was only $500 more, which is not that expensive at all. The room was beautiful, the whole night was great. I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married. The food was exceptional. We had prime rib and stuffed chicken. It was the best steak I've ever had. Everyone was raving about the food for months after the wedding. The side dishes were sauteed green beans and garlic red bliss mashed potatoes, they were tasty. There was a bar in the reception room, and that was fairly priced. The bartender made great drinks. The waitstaff was very curteous and efficient.

Beautiful Banquet Facility Amazing Food!

Venus de Milo is a gorgeous and elegant venue for a reception. I wouldn't have my ceremony there but it is incomparable in all other ways. They know how to do large amounts of food well, my guests wouldn't stop raving about it. It was served hot, all were perfectly seasoned, and all specialty dinners and requests were handled carefully and to the T. The only thing that I wish we would have requested is for them to leave the dessert on the table longer. They served and removed our wedding cake in a matter of 15 minutes and most of my guests didn't get to eat it. Lexi was an awesome coordinator! She was so helpful and handled all of questions, concerns, and crazy bride requests with professionalism and haste. I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again.

We had a great Reception at the Venus de Milo, the Maitre D was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and a great time. The food was amazing and everything went smoothly. The only complaint we had was responsiveness, as we were waiting for a seating chart up until the week before the wedding. Besides that, the Chariot room was beautiful and perfect for our day wedding. I couldn't have dealt with a better venue!

We had some hiccups in the beginning of our planing but everything came together. The good was great and host was awesome and they made our wedding night easy and smooth.

Not the best

The room was extremely hot to the point kost guests left right after they ate. The bride was the last to be served her meal. Hors d'oeuvres were not served to the wedding party. Second meals that were paid for were not given out as requested.
