Tomasha was amazing!

I had an amazing experience! They had so many dresses to choose from, and I was able to find the perfect dress my first visit. Tomasha was so special and made my family feel very comfortable. Timing was very quick and overall just a special day. Highly recommend!

Great Experience!

Found my dress at Ventura's, and it was the first one I tried on! It was a great experience! After finding my dress, they recommended a few veils. They were easy to work with, the dress and veil came in on time, and the fitting appointments were easy. I used their in-house alterations, which was affordable and came out great. And because I found them at the Bridal Extravaganza, I received 10% off! Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful and affordable dresses!

I used to pass Ventura's Bridal every day on my way to work and one day I set an appointment with my family and we went in search of a wedding dress. I had been to a couple other places before hand, the places that serve you champagne and are really over the top. Those were fun but those places didn't have a ton of options and price ranges.

Ventura's Bridal, while looking a bit off on the outside, was nothing short of wonderful on the inside. I still didn't really know what I was looking for but Virginia was patient with me and helped me find the most perfect dress in my budget! Scheduling follow up appointments were so easy to do online and everyone there was very friendly and welcoming.

The best experience ever!

My experience with Ventura’s was amazing! They have a good selection of dresses and so many dresses to try. I’m really glad I made my appointment here. My consultant, Rene, made my experience the best experience ever. She listened to me, made me feel comfortable and stress-free. Also, we had a lot of fun! I cannot express how amazing she is. I fell in love with my dress and I SAID YES TO IT! I will highly recommend Ventura’s and Rene for anybody looking for a wedding dress!! You won't regret coming here.

Exceptional Professional and Nice too!

My bridal consultant Penny was amazing! New her product and so sweet. I love that Venturas has over 1000 dresses onsite to choose from and that they set parameters regarding children during bridal consultations.

3rd Times a Charm!

After trying two other wedding shops and not finding what I was looking for, I made an appointment at Ventura's, as I knew they had a vast selection. It isn't the prettiest place and doesn't have the same charm as some of the smaller boutiques, but we had the best service and found SO MANY DRESSES that were top contenders. It took three visits, but I finally landed on a beautiful Maggie Sottero dress and a chapel length vail to accompany it! They did my fitting as well and it was seamless. You can't go wrong with this shop!

Rang the bell the first day!

I heard about Ventura's from the Bridal Extravaganza. They sent me an email about receiving 10% off. How could I not check it out! After visiting a few "fancy" shops and being discouraged, I took a chance at this hidden gem. It may not be the prettiest facility. but they had a wide range of styles and options. I told my helper what kinds of things I was looking for in a dress. In my case, I was really loving the invisible neckline. We picked out about 5 dresses and turned out I picked out the first one I tried on! I of course tried them all on anyway, and when I put the first one back on, I knew it was the one! They also offered a pay half now and half later option that was super helpful for a person who was paying for everything myself!

Ask for Veronica at Ventura’s Bridal

I loved my experience at Ventura's! I had Veronica as my consultant, she was awesome! I can honestly say I was not the easiest bride to deal with. I tried on my same two dresses at least 5 times each to figure out which dress I loved more. Veronica was so patient with me and didn’t hesitate to help me out, the whole time she showered me with compliments and made me feel beautiful. She also didn’t hover over me every second of my visit (which is super annoying and have experienced this at other bridal stores) she helped me in the dress and tended to everything I needed, and then she would give my bridal party and I space to discuss the dress and what we felt about it. I also paraded all around the dressing room/mirror area to see what the dress would look like when I walked and had my friend video me (so extra, I know) Veronica followed behind me, carried my train, and constantly fluffed it out to make it look perfect in every angle of the mirror. She showed me so much kindness, had great positive energy, and a sense of humor during my visit. She also knew her stuff about sizing, alterations, shippment, and every question I had! Ventura’s Bridal allows an hour and a half for each visit. I went over my time and was there for 2 hours. I had no idea I was in there for that long. Time just flew by. The atmosphere at this store is very calm and chill. I enjoyed this experience WAY more than David’s Bridal. When you go to Ventura’s, ask for Veronica! You’ll enjoy your experience and share a laugh or two along the way!

Most wonderful experience

I had an amazing experience at ventura’s from start to finish. The associates listen to what you want and what you like and they pick the best options for you! They also keep within your budget constraints and never pressure you to try on dresses outside your budget! My dress was absolutely perfect!

My only complaint would be that I was not aware alterations had to be paid in full before they start them. Maybe that’s common knowledge, but I was in aware.

Just Wow! I don't have words that can describe it.

I went to Ventura's looking for a dress within my budget but not sure what style. My sister and mother help me chose a few and I tried them on, nothing stood out. Then Rene told me she had chosen a dress she believed it was more me. I out it on and WOW, it was my dress. I felt so beautiful. Rene had made my day! She had made conversation with me and instantly she found out what kind of personality I had. She made me feel so happy that I cried. When I walked out the dressing room my mom and sister had the same reaction. I felt like family there.

Both the wedding dress and bridesmaid dress were purchased here. Theresa was my awesome wedding consultant and she found the dress which I fell in love with. It matched my style and fit like a glove. Briana did a fantastic job with the alterations there were needed. Sherry helped us with the bridesmaid dress which had an expedited delivery. It came with plenty of time to make the necessary alterations.

I found my DREAM dress at a Bridal Show in Houston, Texas that they were featured at. I went in with a picture and my consultant Penny had it. She was awesome and made this experience AMAZING. I am going back there for my bridesmaid dresses next month!

I had my consultation with Miss Sherry and she's absolutely wonderful! She was so helpful and not pushy at all. One of the reasons I went to Ventura's was that I heard they had a large selection of curvy sizes. And they did not disappoint. She pulled all kinds of dresses and I wound up going with a super sparkly Allure fit and flare dress and the straps she suggested took the dress over the top. Their prices are reasonable and for the quality of dress, I feel like I got a steal. I didn't do my alterations there, so I can't speak to that, but everything else was great!

The whole staff was helpful and amazing but Penny was amazing! She was so friendly and helpful and made what could have been stressful very easy. In fact, the dress she picked for me and urged me to try on ending up being "theOne". The dress is perfect and so was my Ventura experience.

They have the most beautiful dresses at a great value. I visited Ventura's first and priced a dress. I went to another location and the dress was almost $1,000 more. They offer excellent service. I would say that they are in very high demand so schedule visits and plan ahead.

Taylor assisted me in February and helped me find the perfect dress. I knew as soon as I put it on that it was the "one" and my friends literally sucked the air from the room.

I got married Thursday, September 8th. My Husband lost it when he saw me come down the aisle, and many times throughout the evening told me how much he loved my dress.

Taylor, thank you for all the help, you truly are a master of your craft!

BEST SALON! HUGE SELECTION and 5* Service. I shopped at so many stores, but when I entered Ventura, I was impressed by the selection (they had top designers, various styles, and great price range). The consultants were very respectful, fun, and genuine. Respected my budget and did not pressure or rush me. Ask for KARINA! She is the best consultant there! Do not waste your time at other salons - go to Ventura!

I found Ventura's Bridal after being pressured by a high end boutique in River Oaks to purchase a much more expensive dress that I was not in love with... I called Ventura's bridal right after appointment and just showed up. Ms. Penny Campos worked me in on a Sunday and did not pressure me in the least to purchase anything. In fact, I went back a second time and guess what ... I bought the first dress that I ever laid eyes on ... in Blush... Ms. Penny worked with me and made me feel amazing. Ventura's also did my bridesmaids dresses and they looked amazing. The store may not be a gorgeous boutique but that is what saves the bride in overhead. My initial budget was $4,000 and I think I spend $2000 ... with an additional petticoat, sewing in my grandfather's HPD patch and all of my alterations. I never felt pressured to purchase more than what I needed. Thank you Ms. Penny for everything and Blush was the perfect choice.

I worked with Karina and had an amazing experience here! Found a dress around my budget, she wasn't pushy, and everyone was very friendly. I'm not going to lie, I drove by it every day on the way to work thinking I wouldn't buy a dress from this place based on the exterior, but go see them!! Well worth it!!! It might not look super fancy, but hey, don't judge a book by it's cover.

I highly recommend Ventura's Bridal. They were extremely friendly and offered attractive prices on their wedding gowns. I was more than pleased with their payment plan too; since I was on a tight budget. I literally had the dress of my dreams and could not be more pleased. I was a customer of Karina's and she was more than helpful. She offered great advice and made the experience very comfortable.

This is a really good bridal salon if you're on a budget. They have dresses that boutiques carry at a much more affordable price, but I will warn you it is not a glamorous shop. It is a huge warehouse so if you want something more glamorous this is not the place for you. Nonetheless, the customer service is very good. My consultant was very nice with really good energy. She was working really hard to make sure I found exactly what I wanted. Even the alterations weren't too bad. I just had to get my dress bustled and the top taken in and I think I paid 60 total for this but I asked them to attach my corset to my dress with those little snaps so the bra didn't move and they charged me 100 just to add in the snaps which I thought was a little over priced. Other than that I was really happy. My dress still came out perfect.

I had a great experience. My consultant was able to take my vision of my dress and select several gowns for me to try. I absolutely knew when I found the perfect dress. They are professional and know exactly what they are doing from helping you find the right dress down to alterations and cleaning. Great experience!

After I went to multiple wedding dress shops and having bad experiences a friend of mine recommended Ventura's. Karina was my dress consultant and she was great at asking me questions to help me find the perfect dress. She listened to all of my ideas and every dress she brought to try on fit exactly what I had been looking for. I think in the end I tried on the second or third dress and knew it was the one but my friends made me try on a couple more to make sure. Ventura's wedding dresses can't compare to other wedding stores. The details and designs are a step above any other store. After several horrible experiences in other wedding shops I'm so glad I had Karina as my consultant because she made finding my dress actually fun! I know now why three of my mutual friends have had her as their consultant. I also received so many compliments on how beautiful my dress was and so many people couldn't stop saying how stunning and unique all the details were.

I went to several different bridal stores in Houston, TX. From the well known names to the smaller mom & pop shops. There were a few that I had an amazing experience and a couple that were just the worst. In the mix of all of that, I went to Ventura's and Gene helped me pick out exactly what I was looking for. She made sure ever dress looked perfect and made it so difficult to choose just one! I couldn't make up my mind so I went to a different bridal store hope I would eventually find the one, whether it be with Ventura's or somewhere else. Gene told me that if I found a dress, do not buy it. Call her first and she would help me find it for a better price. Because they have been around for so long, they are considered "elite buyers". Sure enough, I found my dream dress at a different location, called Gene, and rushed over there to purchase the dress I said yes to! They didn't have the dress in store but she looked it up and they were able to order it. She saved me about $500. Ventira's made my wedding dress shopping experience so amazing and I cannot wait to wear my dress in 90 days!!

PENNY IS THE BEST!!! I came in with a picture of "the perfect dress" it was awful I wouldn't even let Penny finish zipping me up. I told her my likes and dislikes in a dress and gave her my budget. My mom, Penny, and I pulled several dresses.... I wasn't wow'd by any of them. Penny told me to just trust her and she'll be right back. she came back to the dressing room with a dress and immediately I told her no way, not trying it on... she told me to just trust her please put it on. I did and it was amazing! I loved it so much. I was fat when I went in.... it took two ladies to squish me into that dress. I asked Penny to order it in the same size and promised to lose weight. I did, I lost 3 dress sizes and I felt just as sexy as I did the day I found the dress. Penny knows what she is doing. my hope for other brides is that you just let go and trust your consultant... try dresses on even if you are just going to make fun of yourself later. the perfect dress is out there no matter how big or small you are!! don't give up!

Absolutely AMAZING! Karina is THE BEST. We had a few major setbacks during my dress shopping, but Karina and Mrs. Ventura and the staff went above and beyond their expectations to help me find my perfect dress that I absolutely am in love with! Their selection of styles and setups is endless, and they really do everything they can to listen to your desires and find you your perfect dress. Whether you come in with some samples or exact matches or if you come in with a specific style/color in mind.. they WILL find it for you plus more! I really felt comfortable with Karina, she cared about me and my special day. Mrs. Ventura has an amazing shop there with a wonderful staff. I really liked working with Venturas. My consultant was THE BEST. She really worked with me to find what I wanted. I ended up finding the PERFECT Pronovias dress (under my budget) I even went back with a picture of a dress I found somewhere else and she found me something I loved even better. If you can help it, try to go during the week, Saturday's are CRAZY (but try and find a wedding place that isn't crazy on Saturday).
You can't go wedding dress shopping in Houston without making this one of your stops! They have too much selection and great prices.

Wonderful, stress free and amazing to work with!! Penny was no pressure (unlike Weddings by Debbie) and beat their price for the same dress! They are extremely organized and know what they are doing here! Once my dress came in my maid of honor was practicing lacing it up. Penny noticed the corset back was not lined up correctly. It was very minimal but noticeable after she pointed it out! They sent it back and reordered me a new dress just like that! I got all my bridesmaid dresses here as well. I picked a designer and color, sent the girls the website to pick styles they would like to try on. With 4 girls we had a decision everyone was happy with in 1 hour! Everything came in on time as I was told. There were no surprises. I would definitely recommend Ventura and especially Penny to work with!!

Sandra at Ventura's was extremely helpful. She helped me find the perfect dress and even made all my changes happen. I added a cathedral length train. It is to die for. She was so helpful and kind that we came back and bought a second dress for the evening since the price was so below my budget. I have one name for you at Ventura's Bridal - PENNY. She is amazing! So sweet, and genuinely honest! I was super nervous about dress shopping, I didn't know what to expect and really wasn't excited. Jessica (who no longer works there) helped me with my bridal dress and all my bridesmaids with theirs. She made the process so fun and stress free. I really enjoyed being able to go and try my dress on several times before I finally decided. They were great about accommodating my bridesmaids to come in at their convenience to get fitted, and all the dresses came in sooner than expected. When we went to pick up the dresses, they were all nicely secured and pressed and were ready to wear. They were great at calling to keep me in the loop with all my bridesmaids and confirming appointments and when each of the items I ordered (belt, dress, headband) had arrived. And to top it off they are open 7 days a week so it made it very convenient to go.

This is wear I said YES to my Maggie Sottero Dress! It's not the fanciest place in town but they have competitive pricing and a large selection. I also love my consultant Penny. I had an amazing experience getting my wedding dress at Venturas' Bridal. They were highly recommended to me by several friends and family who had pruchased their wedding dresses at Venturas'. I was traveling excessively for work while planning my wedding, and wedding dress shopping got pushed to the back burner. Before I knew it, I had 4 months until the wedding and still no dress! I finally got a day off, so I called up Venturas' to ask how long it would take to get a wedding dress in. I was told it would take 14-16 weeks for a normal order, but a rush order could get there in 12 weeks. That didn't leave much time for alterations, so I asked if they had any off-the-rack dresses. They said there were a few, so I made an appointment for later that day.

My consultant (Julissa, I believe) was incredibly sweet and helpful. She showed me to a few small racks of sample dresses that were divided by type (I don't remember the other categories, but I was looking for a dress for a beach wedding and they had a few "Destination" dresses on the rack). As luck would have it, one of the dresses was one I had found doing research online, and it was in my size!! I pulled a couple of other dresses from that rack and a few from the much larger "Clearance" area, but once I tried on that first dress, I knew it was "the one"! Since it was a sample, I got a discount (10-15% if I remember correctly), and was able to take it home with me that very day! I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes with the dress of my dreams! I know luck was involved, but the staff at Venturas' was a pleasure to work with!

The ONLY place in Houston to buy a wedding gown!! The staff at Ventura's is incredible. They help you through the entire process of choosing the most important accessory for your wedding (next to the groom and ring of course - ha!). They have the BEST selection and BEST prices of anywhere in or out of town. I spent weeks shopping this boutique and that boutique and found my dress at Ventura's in 30 minutes flat. They have onsite tailoring and hundreds of bridesmaids gowns to match. They even changed the back upper zipper to a corset which for strapless gowns is a MUST. My dress was absolutely gorgeous. I would never shop anywhere else for a gown or recommend any other place. Ventura's is THE bridal gown store.

I found the most amazing dress at Ventura with the help of Penny(sales assistant). I did not feel pressured at all. She was the one that picked my dress out for me. She asked me to try it on and it was the ONE! She made the experience fun and not stressful. I ended up seeing the dress at another store for $500 more. The alterations were easy and perfect! Love Taska and her team at Ventura's. Always helpful and accommodating! Bought my dress there for my first wedding...and went back 23 years later to find my dress for my second wedding. I was so afraid all the dresses were going to be things that looked fabulous on 20-somethings - and that the staff would feel awkward helping a 44 year old find a dress for her wedding, but my consultant treated me just as she would have any other bride. She made me feel like I deserved to find that perfect dress just as much as anyone else - despite that my curves might not be what they were 20 years ago!

I don't know her secret, but she runs a fabulous shop! My hat is off to Taska! (My only wish is that her shop wasn't in such a 'tough' part of town - tough to get to; tough to feel safe...)

Let me beging by saying MY GOWN IS GORGEOUS!!! Being an older and plus sized bride, I was concerned about finding a bridal salon that would be receptive to my needs. My girlfriend recommended Ventura's Bridal because she had had such a wonderful experience finding the gown of her dreams for her wedding. Miss Gina was the best!! You need to ask for Ms. Gina at Ventura's Bridal.

I'd been watching 'Say Yes to the Dress,' and had an idea of what I needed to do to be prepared when I walked into the bridal salon. Ms. Gina was fantastic! I showed her a couple of pictures, and told her what I was looking for in a bridal gown. Two hours and four gowns later, I was walking out of Ventura's Bridal after having found and ordered the wedding gown of my dreams! How many people can say that? My gown was actually number 3, but I tried on a fourth just to make sure. That is how good Ms. Gina is!

We came to Venturas for a specific dress that we saw at the Bridal Extravaganza for th Rehearsal Dinner and came away with that dress and the Wedding Dress. This place puts all those boutiques to shame! I was amazed how enormous their selection was. The dresses were easy to look through & weren't hidden behind bulky bags. I ended up trying on my dream dress which I though would be thousands over budget.... turns out it was only $500! Nobody could believe that it only cost that much. Where to begin?! I originally bought my dress from Marry Go Round, a resale shop for wedding dresses. However, my alterations lady ruined it beyond repair. I called Ventura's Bridal in desperation 4 weeks before my wedding because I knew they carried the same exact dress. The girl on the phone was very nice and said I could drop by to try on the dress at any time that day. I did, just to be sure of the size and fitting, and she told me they could have the dress in just one week! She ordered the size I requested, not the size they thought I should be, and it came in exactly when they said it would! They literally saved my wedding! My mom also got her dress there the year before for her wedding and I remember it being a great experience for her. They carry a great selection and variety.

I got an incredible deal on my dress. The staff was so wonderful. The girl Jessica who helped me keeps in contact with me every time something comes in or if anything changes. SHe was great and even worked me in one day for trying on some more dresses since I am an out of town bride.

The area the place is in isn't the greatest and from the outside u wouldn't think it was much, but its great. a true diamond in the rough.

The staff is wonderful to work with! I had no problems with my dress or the bridesmaids' dresses! Alterations was expensive, but they did an amazing job!

I had a great experience with Ventura's Bridal. I was engaged in October 2011 and planning a wedding for March 2012. This is a very quick turnaround to order a dress, but Ventura's was able to do it. I tried on dresses at about 6 places, but I found Ventura's to have by far the best selection at reasonable prices. There were some shops I called that could not even order a dress in time for my wedding. Ventura's did a great job of listening to me and showing me dresses that fit my style and were flattering. My dress arrived about a month before my March 24 wedding. They had let me know well in advance that their alternations were fully booked, so I used a place recommened by T. Carolyn Fashions (they specialize in mother-of-the-wedding dresses. Both my mom and mom-in-law bought their dresses for the wedding there).

I shopped for wedding dresses at 3 different stores before going to Ventura's where I found my dress. They have a decent amount of dresses, and really listen to what you want.

I said "Yes" to the dress here! Crystal was my consultant and she was absolutley AMAZING!!! Every time I came in the bridal salon she greeted me with a hug and asked how everything was going. There was a slight miscommunciation with the alterations department on when I needed my dress for my bridals but they took care of it and made sure I had my dress in time. Overall I had a great experience!

I loved this bridal shop! They had a huge selection and all of the woman working there were very friendly and helpful. I found my dress within the first hour and I could have found a more amazing one!

This was the second stop on my dress shopping adventure and it should have been my first and last. I had no idea what I wanted and the consultant narrowed it down in a jiffy and even helped me find the dress! The best compliment I received is that the "dress was made for me!"
They even were flexible with scheduling issues and all my questions and procrastination!

My wedding was June 18th, 2001. I started looking for my dress Aug 2010. Someone had told me about Ventura's, so I looked on their website. I found THE dress I had in mind when I got engaged. When I went there they had just sold their sample, I was CRUSHED. My consultant, Jessica, got on the phone immediately & ordered another sample, but it wouldn't be in for 2 weeks. So she started putting me in things similar to the dress I HAD to try on, nothing was even comparing. Jessica told me where else I could go to try on THE DRESS. I went & tried it on & called Jessica to tell her it IS THE DRESS. Once her sample came in I went in to try it on (different color than I had tried on) & to get measured & to get it ordered.

I had to pay my dress out & they were very easy to deal with. Once paid off they ordered my dress & it came in before they said it would.

I also bought my daughter's Maid of Honor dress there.

They have a HUGE selection for Bridal & attendants. Everyone is so nice & personable!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I loved shopping here. They have so many dresses and at great prices! Much more selction and uniqueness than the chain bridal salons. They do alterations on site and will store your dress for you until your wedding day! They also steam it before you take it and provide a cleaning service if you choose to take it back to them. The girls working there are so nice and very helpful.

Ventura Bridal was where my daughter found her dream dress for her wedding. She looked so beautiful and received a ton of complements on the dress. We had Maria for our salesperson and apparently for this place, that makes the experience good or bad. She was great. She first found out our price range and then what style we liked and what we had in mind. I wanted Jessica to have beading on it and Maria found one that both Jessica and I loved.

Ventura's Bridal has a huge selection of beautiful dresses for every price range! My consultant, Maria, was extremely helpful! I loved their company so much that I went back and had my bridesmaids order their dresses through them.

So much variety at this place and pretty good prices. I decided on an ivory mermaid silhouette Casablanca bridal gown. It was perfect for our garden wedding, love it!!! Ask for Natalie, she has an awesome and bubbly personality! :)

When I showed the salesperson I worked with the dress i had seen in a magazine, she immediately was able to locate similar dresses for me to try on. I ended up ordering the one in the magazine and they were very accomodating to getting the order in promptly and checking to make sure it would come in on time. It was a little late, but I still had time to do the alterations. I had the alterations done at Beautiful U instead of Ventura's because of recommendations from others.

Jessica was my amazing consultant. I found exactly what I was looking for and received 10% off for deciding on my first visit. Ventura's also has beautiful accessories: I got my veil, a headband for the reception, and earrings. Great service and great prices!

I really had a wonderful experience with Ventura's! I found EXACTLY what I was looking for at a completely reasonable cost (actually under my budget). The real gem to this place was the alteration's lady (I can't remember her name). She did an AMAZING job! I actually decided to add a belt to my dress and wanted chiffon added as well. They didn't have chiffon and my option was going to be finding some at a craft store and bringing it in. She actually found chiffon on the alteration room floor and was willing to finish it like it was a part of the belt and the dress. My gown turned out PERFECTLY! and I received SO many compliments the day of!
