Great DJ and music selection!

We had a rooftop ceremony and ballroom reception. They provided a sound system for music upstairs and downstairs. During the initial consultation, Vince was very upfront with costs and I experienced no extra costs as a surprise at all! The DJ kept the party going the whole time!

VCI did a fantastic job!!

Vince and VCI did a fantastic job! From the time we first contacted them to the end of the wedding reception. Vince did an excellent job handling the ever changing multicultural event. He was always available for questions, very professional and very helpful in the planning process. He handled the multiple song requests seamless, unexpected toasts respectfully and keep the event organized and the dance floor full! Thank you so much!! VCI is the BEST DJ's in town.

Amazing company!

One of the top two most important things for our wedding was to have an amazing DJ for our wedding. VCI was hands down the best option! They traveled 4 hours to our location the night before to make sure everything was perfect. We had some very interesting things for our guests and the hit the nail on the head! Worth every penny!

We used VCI Audio for our daughter’s wedding back in July. The company is very well organized and maintains a good communication with the clients. It was extremely easy to modify the original package that we had chosen. Vince did a fantastic job as the officiant and the DJ/MC. Everyone had an excellent time. I would highly recommend VCI Audio and Vince.

I just attending a wedding and the DJ- Kylee- was phenomenal!!! Not only did she DJ, she jumped in and help "herd the cats" and help the officiant (a first timer) with what to say and when. She ran an impromptu rehearsal and helped get things organized, event helping send people down the aisle... This was just because she could! She went out of her way to help out and it was so appreciated!! During her part she kept the music flowing to pack the dance floor and was spot on with what the bride and groom wanted. Kudos to you and your team for helping make this event awesome!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend this team!!!

What can I say about Vince Cavanagh? First of all, hes a RAD DUDE, dedicated to his trade. He knows the perfect song, at the perfect time. Hes the ultimate MC for any event. I've known this guy for a while and had no question who was going to DJ my own wedding. During out first meeting, he listened to all my requests, and made sure to keep the party moving in the right direction. He was event game for an awesome surprise Father-Daughter dance. Would I recommend VCI Audio to a friend? 1000x YES!!!

Vince was incredible to work with. My husband and I were planning our wedding from across the country and were pleased with VCI's willingness to work with us via phone leading up to our big day. Vince was super easy to get along with and on the day of the wedding kept everything running in a timely manner and nothing got left out. I highly recommend this company!

My wife and I where very happy with Vince and the whole team. He sat down with us and lined out everything to make sure it was perfect multiple times at our convenience. Their website is super helpful not only for planning what music is to be play when, but for the time line aswell. I would defiantly recommend VCI to anyone planning an event.

Vince. Was. Awesome! We planned our wedding from out of state, and that only served to make planning all the more stressful for a bride, let me tell you. When we arrived in Idaho, we found that we weren't as at ease with our actual wedding coordinator as we were when we met Vince in person, and he was awesome from start to finish. He acted as both our DJ and our officiant for the day and I literally have no complaints. He was fun and real to work with, made planning easier, and when we got scattered in places and lost track of our checklists he picked up our slack and made everything seem seamless in the end.

VCI and Vince did an amazing job with our wedding. We both lived out of state and had never actually met with Vince until the day of the wedding. During the planning process everything went smoothly and any questions I had were answered in a timely manner. We did a conference call to do our walk through of the wedding because we couldn't fly out to meet in person. Everything was great! Vince did an awesome job making everything flow. He was very involved with what should be done and what time it should be done at so I didn't have to worry about anything at the wedding. He was a great DJ! Without a doubt would recommend him to anyone!

James was our DJ and he was amazing!! We had a smaller wedding with mostly family and he catered to that perfectly - but I'm sure he'd be awesome for a big dance party style wedding too! He was so great to work with and was very helpful in the planning. The day of the wedding he was there early and made the whole event flow so smoothly, we really appreciated it! We had many guests comment to us on how great he was too! One of my favorite moments of the day was after everyone had left and he asked if he could play us one final song for just the two of us, it was the perfect way to end our special day! I would very highly recommend James at VCI!

Vince and the VCI audio team were fantastic. Jason was our DJ and was on point for each transition at the wedding reception. I would definitely recommend this team again as they were very well prepared and made sure there wasn't a glitch.

Troy was an absolute gentleman. There was not a moment of stress before, during, or after the wedding as far as the DJ was concerned. Troy is as professional and kind as they come, we HIGHLY recommend him over anyone else in IDAHO!

Troy was our DJ for the reception at Stueckle Sky Center. He knew it exactly where to set up, so it was very simple for us. He was high energy and danced with us for a group dance. He was also flexible with family songs. For example we had an accordion player play a few traditional songs while our family danced. Troy was great about working that into the music schedule. We couldn't be happier! And many of our guests said it was the best wedding they've seen

Working with VCI audio throughout the wedding process was great. If I ever needed something or had questions I was able to email them and know I would get a response back almost immediately. The DJ the day of the event was great as well. He was friendly, outgoing, passionate and I could tell took his job very seriously which made for a great night. He created a great dance party!

A few small things of feedback:
-I think the Money Dance went on for too long given no one there had cash. I got the feedback that some ppl wanted to dance with us, but had no money. Maybe making the announcement from DJ that if you don't have cash, but still want a moment with bride or groom would have been nice. People are more likely to have cash if there is a cash bar, but we didn't have one of those. (Even though I know the purpose is for money, but it's also nice to get some 1:1 time with some ppl)
-The DJ made the announcement for guests to wait until cake was cut before cupcakes. I didn't really care about this, so I didn't make a sign. I was told that after that announcement people who were getting cupcakes, didn't go back ever and get any. We had a ton of leftover cupcakes as a result.

My wedding was perfect and I had the BEST time. People are still talking about the dance party!

I have been to way too many weddings where you sit around awkwardly and wonder what is next. Many people mingle around the dance floor too afraid to dance. However, I am proud to say that this was not my wedding experience!! Vince was my DJ, and he did an incredible job keeping the wedding moving/flowing perfectly. I did not have to worry about a thing! Vince and I sat down a few weeks before the wedding and discussed what I wanted and he made it happen! In addition, the dance floor was constantly covered with people! Even to this day, I have people telling me how much fun they had at my wedding.

Unbelievable night!!! We had met with the owner twice, and were disappointed he was already booked since we hit it off with him so well. But the night of the wedding couldn't have been better. Troy was our DJ and I appreciated his sense of humor, professionalism, how approachable/accommodating he was with requests, and he was even out there on the dance floor getting people movin' and groovin'. He kept the energy and dance floor going throughout the entire evening and even stayed thirty minutes past the contracted time. I will let everyone know about VCI Audio when they are in need of a DJ.

Vince was fantastic from start to finish - we had very little time to plan a wedding and he made the reception flow perfectly, while adapting to the changing needs of a bi-cultural group (Chinese and American). We did not need a wedding coordinator as our church provided the most terrific support - but Vince is not just a DJ - he MAKES your reception work. In this case, the venue was somewhat complicated but not one guest would have recognized that because Vince managed it perfectly!!! Cannot say enough good things about how he made this event work beautifully.

We hired Vince to DJ our wedding in September 2015. Though our plans have since changed (decided to elope), Vince was great to work with. He was very professional and did a great job explaining his services. He walked us through the process of customizing our ceremony and made us feel very comfortable. We have no doubt that Vince would have done an outstanding job had our plans not changed. If you have an opportunity to work with Vince, we highly recommend him!

If you are looking for a DJ that knows how to read a room and put on a program, Vince is the guy for you. He is incredibly organized and impressive in reading the crowd and the needs of the guests. We had a minor bridesmaid emergency during the ceremony where Vince came to the rescue, assisted, and helped the ceremony continue on without a hitch. He was also instrumental in putting on an unique wedding party entrance number - going out of his way to have a friend do a recording specifically for the entrance. He went above and beyond, never failed to offer solid creative advice, and was the perfect person to rely on during a very busy day/night. I would HIGHLY recommend Vince for any event you might be planning. You know you will be in good hands.

Vince did an exceptional job as both a DJ and performing the wedding ceremony. When our friends were told he was performing both functions there were some smirks. After the ceremony and as the music began the smirks quickly faded. With Vince's help we customized our ceremony and our guests commented on how wonderful it was. We had people interrupting the service with kind comments and our own special jokes which Vince handled like the pro that he is. The music that we picked, and he played, was all done at appropriate times. We and our guests were impressed by the service that he provided. He, and his business, is truly a class act and he comes highly recommended by us.

I attended an event where VCI did the officiating (Boise Wedding Officiants) as well as Dj'd it was AMAZING! VCI did an awesome job keeping people on the dance floor and keeping the party going. Great mix of music and very interactive with the crowd. The wedding party did not have a coordinator and so VCI organized and maintained the entire time line. It was wonderful.

Vince was a professional in every sense of the word. Not only did he run the sound system for the ceremony and DJ'd the reception, but Vince set up and ran both the ceremony and reception from start to finish. We utilized VCI for our officiant and was paired with Pastor Rick Rhodes. We really appreciated that he was interested in our views and wishes and didn't want to press his own. He made great suggestions and was receptive to reading my written vows as I had wrote them....many commented on the emotional ceremony.....very professional and considerate. Thank you!

The wife and I spent considerable time looking around the Tres Valley looking for DJs. We talked to and met with several and decided on Vince since his style fit our wedding. He himself was available for our date. We spoke a couple times and met with him 2 weeks prior to the day to finalize details and ensure all music was lined up. He was very organized w/ forms that cover just about everything from start of ceremony prelude music, to the dance choices and sequence of events. We really appreciated his attention to detail throughout the process.

The day-of went off without a hitch thanks in-part to Vince's great service. He setup at the venue well in advance and only stopped to follow up on a song choice (there were 2 versions). Again, great attention to detail.

We hired him for both ceremony and reception, and both were great. He cut and edited songs to appropriate lengths and avoided awkwardness.
While the new wife and I were resting after the ceremony, Vince came by and offered to grab us some drinks while we waited and figured out how long before we wanted to make the grand entrance.

The night progressed well and Vince showed why he is in the business. He gauged the evening and kept things flowing smoothly and w/o any problems. He only came by for 5 min warnings before the next event (cake cutting, first dance, etc.) and had parents ready for the Father-daughter and Mother-son dance.

After all the traditions were finished, he got down to business getting people out on the dance floor. A lot had to do with how Vince handled the mood of the crowd (song choices). He kept the party going until our 10:00PM finish and helped the night end on a high note. We continued the party downtown since the energy levels were still going high. We’ve been to many weddings where people slow down well before the end of it and this was not the case with ours. Thanks Vince for all your hard work and excellent MC&DJ skills.

Vince managed the whole process with professionalism. He was on top of the planning, helping with other vendors, and was flawless. On our wedding day he was so helpful in helping keep the whole even together. Vince did whatever he could to make our day stress free and flawless. Would recommend Vince to the whole world!!

Vince Cavanaugh, owner of VCI Audio Entertainment, is such a pleasure to work with. He met with the bride and groom, walked them through all of the elements to create their special wedding event, causing them to realize how much goes into planning a wedding! That is when they realized, wow, we are going to need help! Well, some of the best help there is, hands down, is having a great DJ! The meeting toward the end when you nail down all of the specific timing, name all the specific songs - this is when you know it's all coming together and exactly how. I really cannot over-emphasize the DJ's importance. Troy was the DJ at our event and he did an amazing job of keeping things running, and when the dance party started, his energy was so much fun. He danced and sang and played great songs and all with a big smile! Thanks, Troy and thanks, Vince, for making Megan and Chris's special day absolutely perfect!

Vince was our officiant at the ceremony as well as the DJ at the reception, and he did an amazing job at both! We have had so many friends and family tell us what a wonderful job our DJ did. He was very personable and professional and made time to meet with us several times before the day of the wedding. He helped us customize our ceremony to make it special for us, and VCI's website made it so simple to customize our music selection for the reception. My Wife and I had called many other DJ services for our wedding and VCI was the only company willing to work with us on pricing and what we needed. The owner Vince was actually the one who showed up and DJ'ed the wedding and he did such a phenomenal job. He kept our reception really flowing nicely through our timeline, and once the dancing portion started he really got everyone energized and out there dancing and just having a good time. Vince embodied what it meant to be a "Pro" at your job. I am so thankful we we used VCI and I would strongly recommend them to any of my friends or family. The dance portion of our wedding/reception ended up being one of our favorite parts of our wedding day! Thanks VCI and Vince!

Vince was amazing. HE timed all music perfect during the ceremony and had the microphones set up so all the guest could hear everything. Then the reception was everything i wanted for our wedding. he was very interactive with the crowd, getting out and dancing with us. His music that he picked had people dancing before dinner was even served. He was constantly asking the bride, me, and the groom if we needed anything throughout the night, drinks, food, anything. it was amazing!!!!! Thank you Vince so so much you added to the magic of the day.

Absolutely amazing DJ! Vince was incredibly helpful by offering suggestions in terms of what music to play and ways to make our wedding day run smoothly. I truly believe a DJ can make or break a wedding, and I am so glad we chose VCI Audio Entertainment. Vince kept the dance floor full and everyone had a great time. I received numerous compliments from many of our guests on how much fun they had dancing to the great music at our wedding.

Hiring VCI Audio was a no brainer. I had quite a few years of experience in the wedding industry and understand the value of hiring trained professional to help execute the event. Knowing that a DJ is so much more than just playing music, i drew on my experience and scheduled a consultation with VCI. Minutes into our consultation with Vince we were confident that this was the company we wanted. Experienced, confident and very comforting. Vince was genuinely concerned with our needs for the big day and he left no stone unturned. He makes sure you have a thorough understanding of what services are provided and how they are executed. A timeline is established by you and your spouse and followed to a T. He was always quick to return any emails or phone calls right up until the big day to alleviate any last minute concerns. From customizing popular songs for specific events during the wedding to just keeping the party going, VCI was an amazing choice. Considering you get what you pay for? This was a steal. Super professional staff. Our DJ showed up early, set up with plenty of time and was essential in guiding events along as my bride and i were way to consumed to pay attention!! I would give them 10 stars if i could. I would certainly recommend them to family, friends and anyone else who would listen.

Vince was our DJ from VCI Audio Entertainment for our wedding and I can't even begin to explain how grateful Andy and I are for his help. When we went in for our meeting before our wedding we had no clue how the wedding ceremony should go. He had knowledge of our venue and was familiar with how the owners of our venue liked things. He was our ANGEL for our wedding. He helped us with every little detail. On when each person should walk in from flower girl to the bride (ME) :), to when the ceremony/reception should start, etc. He really eased our minds. Honestly we had no worries after our meeting with Vince.

He did a great job with the selection of music. He really listened to what we wanted and what type of songs we didn't want. He even made my husband do the song can't touch this by MC Hammer during the grader song and he wouldn't go on till my husband dance during it.

The cool thing about Vince is that he got to know us. He knew what buttons to push and how far he should go with it. He really made our wedding a HIT. We still to this day (a year and a half later) talk about how amazing he was.

We honestly had no complains about the service provided during our wedding. I would give him 10 stars if I could but I'll just stick with the 5!

If we ever need a DJ again we will defiantly be calling Vince from VCI Audio Entertainment. :)

VCI did a great job at our wedding! We came in from out of town and were able to keep in contact through email. They responded quickly to questions and requests. They played great dance music and kept everyone happy and having fun. I would highly recommend VCI Audio to anyone looking to hire a DJ. We were extremely happy with our wedding day and wouldn't have changed anything!

I have seen VCI at many weddings and because of this, we decided to choose this vendor for our very own wedding. Vince was our DJ and provided an excellent service by creating a very fun and comfortable night for us and all our guests. The night went so smoothly because Vince was very professional and prepared. I can't tell you enough about how awesome these guys were. Always on top of everything and always professional. I was only able to come review the songs I had chosen during a certain time because of my job, and Troy (the DJ who played at my wedding- VCI employs several DJs) came in during his lunch hour from another job to introduce himself. That impressed me, but his actions on my wedding day totally blew me away.

It was hot that day and my pastor actually fainted during the wedding ceremony. Not something you would expect to happen. After making sure the guy was ok, Troy came up to me and told me that he was in fact ordained and could finish the ceremony if needed. Holy cow, these guys come prepared! Thankfully the pastor recovered, but I couldn't tell you how relieved I was to know that there was someone else who could finish the ceremony if needed. The actual thought that crossed my mind was, "This guy was worth every single penny". He also played great music and was in general an awesome DJ. You honestly can not go wrong with VCI!

At my first meeting with Vince, he brought out a map, a schedule of events, and all the conceivable DJ options I could ask for - things I hadn't even considered - and asked me about our wedding style and themes. I had talked to other DJs who more or less told me how things would go without my input, but Vince was absolutely great about listening and really hearing what I wanted. During the event, he read the crowd so well that most people told me later it was the best wedding reception party they had ever been to!

VCI Audio was great to work with. They definitely helped make our wedding reception special. They worked well with our wedding coordinator and kept the reception flowing. The only problem was the second mike did not pick up the officiant, the bride, or the groom at all. Several of our guests told us they could not hear us during the ceremony. I'm not sure if this was because we were outside or what. I would recommend them though! Very professional and energetic. Everyone enjoyed having them there for the reception.

We hired Vince to be our officiant and when we first booked we were told that we would be getting a different officiant which was fine. In the end there was a conflict and Vince ended up officiating for us. We were extremely happy with the job that Vince did as well as his professionalism. He met with us a couple times before our wedding in order to insure that the ceremony would be exactly how we wanted it to be. Vince also provided us with different ideas as to what we could do during the ceremony. Vince was able to keep our ceremony fun and lighthearted which is exactly what we were going for.

I first saw Vince DJ at the wedding of a friend of ours, and thought that he did an amazing job. He was funny, friendly, and really kept the party moving. We then hired him for our own wedding and were very pleased with him! The interface of his website, where you choose music you desire him to play, music you DON'T want played, etc. was very useful. I was slightly concerned about his attitude on the day, where he was somewhat bossy about cutting short my family pictures, and made comments that I didn't think should have been his concern. Otherwise, he was very entertaining, really kept the party going with good song choices, and was very understanding with us regarding payment.

VCI Audio is the way to go!!! We were very pleased with Vince, our DJ. He played the right type of music for every guest. My older family members could dance to thier kind of music as well as my younger family. He even got out on the dance floor to show everyone the moves to a particular song!! We would recommend him to anyone.

Vince was awesome!!! He was so easy to work with and very organized. We were able to customize our entire playlist for the wedding through his website. I loved that we got to pick every song that was played. He kept people on the dance floor too by knowing what songs to play when. He was a bit more expensive than some other DJs but it was so worth it for the peace of mind that I knew I could rely on him. He came recommended by two of my family members. I went to their weddings and thought he was great!

We were VERY pleased with Vince's DJ services at our small (40 people) wedding. He was polite, respectful, played excellent music, had several suggestions how to improve our ceremony, and kept in contact very well via email and phone. He asked a lot of questions about the music we wanted, when it should be played, who he should ask if he had questions, and improvised a few things that turned out wonderfully. I would absolutely hire him again and recommend him highly.

We had a great experience with VCI for our wedding day. While I would have liked to hear more of our guest's requested songs, the DJ kept the party moving really well, and the complaints I heard were actually that the music was TOO good and people needed a break in between songs. Not a bad problem to have though. Our DJ was fun, efficient, and attentive to our needs. The planning process was pretty easy, although they did miss one request for a special song to honor my husband's grandpa. But overall, a great choice of vendor for this service.

For the. Pay part VCI was pretty good to work with. When o was going over song choices Vince sounded annoyed that I changed a song. They also played the wrong song as I was walking down the aisle ?? My hubby was partly to blame but I had gone over the order with Vince the day before and confirmed everything and the wrong song was still played... there were some issues with the mics but the music was great and DJ our Dj was awesome and very o too of it!! He was great to work with.

Songs that I had on the play list were not played, I paid more than what I thought I should have for what I got. He didn't bring some of the lights that I had specified in our package. I didn't get what I paid for and I'm very disappointed. And quite honestly would like a refund but that probably won't happen. And the owner couldn't even get my name right.

Absolutely Terrible. Stay away

I am happy that everything turned out alright for my wedding, but let me tell you, the stress before hand was not okay. I booked VCI 11 months before my wedding. Everything was going great, they told me that I would have access to all my forms through their online portal, and I did. Since I booked them so far out, I wasn’t quite sure of my times, I changed my times through their online portal, and I got a confirmation email. I then was looking at what they were going to charge me, and it wasn’t adding up, so I sent them an email. I got back, “I will look into this and get back to you.” No one got back to me, and this was in July for my October wedding. In early August, I got an email that I needed to schedule a time to meet with them to go over everything. I was in the process of calling to set up times with all my vendors, since I was living out of state with my fiancé. I called them for three days before I finally got a hold of anyone. The voicemail was full so I couldn’t leave a message. I called my mom in a panic. I set up a meeting, and then we got there, and they apparently didn’t book it. So we had to wait for an hour. Things happen, okay fine. My mother and I were told in that meeting that someone would be getting a hold of me 30 days prior to set up my photobooth things. Two weeks out, no one had contacted me. I was getting texts from my wedding planner, and she couldn’t get a hold of them to go over things. Again, I tried calling them and no answer. I left a voicemail and nothing. They claimed that they never received one. My mom called, and magically they answered and called me back immediately. This was a week out from my wedding. They got the photobooth stuff over finally, and then they set up another meeting. This time I had my wedding planner meet me, and I brought my dad with me. He was so pushy in this meeting, basically everything I wanted he kept telling me no. I realize that they see a lot of things, but he wasn’t explaining why that wouldn’t work. The notes that we talked about were never noted, because on the day of my wedding things were not what we agreed on. I will say that Chandler handled things very well, since he was our officiant as well as our DJ. I gave them feedback on their survey and it took two weeks to get back to me. He essentially bashed my wedding planned, which made me furious, and dismissed everything I said. When addressing my concern that he was being pushy in the meeting, he just said that they had to walk on eggshells and that I did not agree with his opinion, so he chose to not elaborate any further. But then earlier said that they know best. I would NOT recommend VCI, as it was very stressful. They treated me terribly, and I’m incredibly upset they treated my wedding planner so poorly.

We used this service for our wedding day because our venue required us to use this vendor. At the first meeting everything seemed great, we needed mics for our ceremony and was told they would take care of it. We had a live band for our ceremony and during dinner, the DJ would then start afterwords. They didn't have an issue with this during any of the planning meetings (we had 3!) and they never mentioned there was additional charges for the ceremony mics and a 'standby fee' until several days AFTER our wedding when we received a bill. Highly unprofessional! We budgeted our wedding according to all our vendors, this could of easily been resolved if we knew about it during the first meeting when we first requested the mics.
Additionally, after each planning meeting Vince seemed more annoyed and very opinionated when it came to things we (bride and groom) wanted to do (e.g. fake exist).
I requested a bilingual DJ which made Vince unable to do our wedding, I am so glad he was not our DJ. The actual DJ/MC that was at our wedding did an amazing job, I am very pleased with their work and that's the only reason why I am giving them stars! The management and the fees out of no where, I would never recommend this company.

This company came off of a personal recommendation, so we had confidence in their ability... However when Vince said he was going to DJ our wedding it changed at the last minute to some other person we didn't know.

I spent hours on their website putting together our playlist. I had to complain about them not playing my playlist during my wedding. We did have to go over time from the venue being late. I was charged for two hours over, it should have only been one hour over. I did write a review and complained about my issues to them after the event. However they did not care, charged my credit card and blamed the venue.

I would also recommend to not use their "dance party" type lights. Almost all of my reception images are ruined and have a green light or spot on my guests from their lighting system.
