“We Haven’t Danced This Much In Years” -direct guest quote LOL

Variety was awesome to have as part of our wedding day! They came recommended from our venue so it was a no-brainer to go with them as we felt they would be most familiar with the flow of the day - which was 100% the case. Variety had a beautiful all-white DJ set up and we were also able to hired our live musicians through them, which was so helpful. (Saxophone during cocktail hour was PERFECTION). MC Ray and DJ Tom made the day completely effortless for myself and my husband.

They played everything we wanted (BIG SHOUTOUT to playing Italian music throughout our Italian dinner - our favorite part of the night), seamlessly blended genres, and had people of all ages on the dance floor all night. Guests texted us the next day saying how they “haven’t danced that much in years”, “every song was a banger”, and “the music was SO good”.

Best time ever!!

We had Variety Music as our entertainment for our wedding on 8/24/23 at Sea Cliff Manor. They were so chill and awesome from the start. We had an amazing steel drum player for cocktail hour which set a really cool vibe. Definitely calmed my anxiety! We had Ray and Tom as our MC and DJ. They were an incredible team. I gave them a list of songs to play which they did and then played all these other songs I didn’t even think of that were a huge hit! Watching some videos back from the wedding, I didn’t realize how many guests were singing along to all the songs. So many friends and family were on the dance floor all night. All our friends were raving about how good our entertainment was. I highly recommend Variety Music you will not regret it and you will have a blast!!

Hire Variety

All around amazing experience. From working with Ray and Tom and getting all the details ironed out, to the amazing musicians and staff that made our day flawless, we'd recommend Variety to anyone and everyone. Want to give a special shoutout to all those involved: Sal our MC and Christian our DJ - our guests have not stopped telling us how much they enjoyed these two. They were so professional and easy to work with and really just took our wedding to the next level. We also had Vinny and Paul at our ceremony, playing the piano and violin respectively. And Ed and Nick at our cocktail hour. The musicians were so great and so kind. We were so happy we added all four of them to our day. The music was perfect. With our wedding day being the most important day of our lives thus far it was nice working with a company that respected that and enhanced the overall experience.

Amazing work on our wedding day

We couldn’t be happier with the work done by Variety Music on our wedding day, 10/1/2022! We worked primarily with Ray and Tom who were easily accessible, responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic at all times. For us, our wedding playlist was extremely important, and something we had been working on for quite some time. We had specific songs that we requested as “must plays” and we requested all the music played at our wedding to come directly from our playlist. Tom and Ray made it clear that if it was important to us, it was important to them too, and they followed through with all of our requests!! Not only that, we wrote specific introductions for the individual members of our bridal party with a different song to be played for each. Ray and Tom did an exceptional job with this and it was a huge hit! Ray even practiced the introductions for some time to ensure they went perfectly and they absolutely did, he did an exceptional job. With Tom as the DJ and Ray as the MC, our wedding was a blast, the energy was always up, and people were dancing the whole night! I would definitely recommend paying the extra money to have an MC in addition to the DJ. Overall, I would highly recommend booking Variety Music DJ Entertainment for your wedding, exceptional work at an extremely reasonable cost!

Best DJ Company Ever

Variety Music is awesome. After speaking with Ray on the phone back in 2021 for our 2022 wedding, I knew right away that they would be perfect. We wanted specific plays/do not plays and they completely understood that. Throughout the wedding planning process, Ray or Tom were always available via e-mail/phone. They were very prompt in answering and that’s always key when you are planning a wedding. We had the steel pan drummer/percussionist Howie and were able to add percussion to our reception with no issues. We were also able to change things last minute and everything was easy with no mistakes made whatsoever. I came in to our meeting before the wedding with a long play list and “ do not playlist”. I was worried about being judged for my craziness, but Ray was totally cool with it . When I called a few days later to talk to Tom to add a dance , based on our conversation, I could tell he actually went through the playlists and didn’t just brush it off. That meant a lot. He was also really enthusiastic about the 90s stuff we wanted played, and that just made me confident, when everything else about the wedding made me so nervous, that they were going to do a fine job. As for the day of the wedding, it was perfect. All the songs I gave them for the ceremony and reception were played with no error. Ray and Tom came up to me and double checked with me on everything. People were on the dance floor all night, and if they weren’t on the dance floor, they were at the photo booth (also from variety ) , who gives you a scrapbook to take home with the pictures (hilarious alternative to a guest book) and gives you the files via e-mail (still laughing at these pictures nearly 2 weeks later). Ray was an excellent MC who the crowd adored and he was very interactive. He suggested a game which I never thought to do but it was so fun to watch and I really enjoyed it. Tom crushed it as the DJ. I could tell he loves his job and is very passionate about what he does. They all are really. Everyone was dancing, singing, sweating, including me. Our voices were gone from singing. Howie was such a vibe. I didn’t get to see him playing the steel pan at the cocktail hour, but he was amazing on drums and let us as well as my little niece and my uncle play drums too. The photo booth attendant was very friendly as well. Basically, if you LOVE music and the DJ is the most important vendor at your wedding, RUN to book Variety. I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for wedding entertainment.

Best night ever thanks to the DJ Team!

I just want to share what an absolutely amazing job Serg, Sal and Justin did last night. Completely blown away as were all my guests! The dance floor was packed all night, we never wanted to leave. Music truly makes or breaks a wedding and they definitely made it! I already sent your information over to several of them who asked. Wedding at Brotherhood Winery 10.15.21

Variety Music was absolutely terrific. They knew how to keep the party BUMPING along with catering to all ages. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. Amazing - EASY Recommendation!

We had our wedding on 8/27/21 and our experience with Variety Music Entertainment was phenomenal. Throughout the whole entirety of the planning process from booking to the day of the actual event, this team was nothing less than stellar and professional. They were timely, responsive, and experts of their craft. They gave us the freedom to select songs and they put together our vision of our day perfectly through music and entertainment. We had Ray (MC), Tom (DJ), and James (Photobooth). All three individuals' energy were amazing. We received so many compliments about the MC, DJ, and Photobooth and we would highly recommend them to anyone without a doubt and we are not surprised at all at the other amazing reviews they've received. Packed Dance Floor The Entire Night!

My husband and I used Variety Music and we were thrilled with them! They were extremely accommodating and flexible to our 2 date changes due to COVID. Ray was very responsive and great with answering all of my questions. As for the day of the wedding, these guys killed it! They tailored the music to our guests so the dance floor was packed the entire night! We had many guests come up to us during the wedding saying how great the music was and even had one guest ask for the playlist so she can use it for her wedding! Highly recommend Variety Music!!

Highly recommended DJ-exceeded expectations!

We found Variety music at Long Island bridal expo. We met Tom, our DJ and Ray, our Emcee who we liked from the start. They are professional, quick to respond to all our questions. On the Wedding day, the music and energy level they provided were on point. We had the true hybrid experience of both DJ music and live music with the added on guitarist, Sinatra singer and saxophonist during different portions of the wedding day. COVID wedding

Due to the coronavirus, we had to change our wedding plans to be at the home of my now husband's parents. Despite the change in location, smaller party and the need to make things COVID19 friendly, Variety Music really made the party. Having a DJ brought some normalcy back to what I thought was going to be a subpar wedding (because 2020 just sucks) and they made sure all of our guests were enjoying themselves. Thank you to Ray and Tom for an amazing night. You made this 2020 bride very happy!

Best of the best!

Our MC was Sal, and our DJ was Joey. Sal commanded the room without being overbearing, which is exactly what we were looking for. He was confident and entertaining. The DJ was great; he played a great mix of oldies and new songs that got every generation dancing. I don’t think we had a single song where people weren’t on the dance floor. The photo booth was a great addition for people who aren’t dancers; my guests seemed to really enjoy it. Every time I looked over there were people in it. Sal even played a really funny game to give away the centerpieces that my guests are still talking about. We also added their saxophone player for our cocktail hour. He was so talented and made the cocktail hour memorable. We were absolutely thrilled with them!

Wow!!! Variety Music is the BEST!!!

Best and easiest decision ever. Variety music kept the energy high and everyone on the dance floor!!! You must hire the zap photographer!!! He took incredible photos and you can never have enough pictures of your special day. I also hired strings for the ceremony. Everything was incredible from start to finish. I would highly recommend using variety music for your wedding!

My husband and I had an exceptional experience working with Variety Music. Tom was our DJ and Sal was our MC. Sal was articulate and fun when it came to announcing our wedding party and organizing games with our guests. Tom kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night from my grandparents to my parents friends to our friends. Tom played every song on our list that we provided him prior to the wedding at our last meeting as well as a couple of extra songs that fit with the genres of music that we like. He read the dance floor well and changed the music based on who was dancing at any given time. I would highly recommend using variety music for your wedding!

Excellent DJ

Tom and Ray did a fantastic job with our wedding. Tom hit all the music we requested and Ray got everyone up on the dance floor. Our guest were dancing all night and we heard nothing but great things about it from our family and friends. Prior to our wedding Tom was easy to work with and very receptive to all our requests. Ray is a great MC. He got all our family and friends going, even those who never dance got up and danced at least a little. We were very happy with the job they did. A night to remember

I cannot put into words how happy I am to have found Variety music. But I’ll try so here it goes...

My journey with Variety music started about a year and a half ago. I was recommended to them by a family friend. She raved about how wonderful her experience was with Variety. We had our wedding on 6/2/18 and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Sal and Tom (our DJ's for the night) and the entire company for that matter. They were warm, friendly and had the crowd dancing and having a great time the whole night. They knew how to be involved without being over the top. Their personalities were icing on the cake too, I couldn't have asked for a better set of people to make my wedding so much fun.
They also provided our lighting (which was perfect!), our videographer (whom was so kind, calming and funny) and our cocktail hour entertainment (a frank sinatra singer). The cocktail hour entertainment blew everyone out of the water- he was incredible and had an absolutely amazing voice.
Our videographer was always in the right place at the right time (I cannot wait to see our video!)

Look no further! We used Variety Music for our November 4th wedding at The Royalton, after my sister and brother-in-law previously used them for their wedding a few years prior - and they again, DID NOT DISAPPOINT! To us, music at our wedding was one of the most important aspects and we are so happy we decided to use Variety Music. Tom & Ray were so easy to work with, very responsive, very reasonably priced and made it a very seamless process. At our final meeting, we went through every single detail, explained the genres of music we wanted, helped us decide the sequence of events throughout the night and everything went off without a hitch. Tom and Ray were AMAZING - they were fantastic at reading their audience and the dance floor was completely PACKED the entire night - this is exactly what we hoped for and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. We also hired Howi, the percussionist and he was a HIT! He let the guests play around on the drums, and gave the party such an upbeat and exciting vibe. We also used them for lighting and the room looked perfect and exactly what we had envisioned. You will not be disappointed!

There are so many great things to say about Variety. Tom from the very beginning was so approachable and willing to work with our budget. He gave us a great deal, and I valued his opinion from the start. The entire process from booking all the way up to the night of the wedding was so smooth. He answered my (many) emails so quickly and gave me honest feedback with all of my requests. Tom was our DJ, Sal was our MC and Howie was our percussionist. They all worked so well together to make the music flow from song to song. I still get compliments on how the dance floor was packed all night long because the music was so great. Last but not least, hands down the best part of what Variety did the night of the wedding. They played our last song, and when the lights went on the entire dance floor changed "One more song, one more song" without hesitation Tom played Bye, Bye, Bye and everyone went nuts. I could not have asked for a better DJ to provide entertainment for what was the most amazing night of my life!!!!!

Variety Music is the best! My husband and I were very specific with the type of music we wanted played at our wedding. We sat with Ray and went over everything, and the week before we sat with Tom to confirm our playlist. We wanted all "now" music. My guests are HUGE party animals and love to dance, so playing up beat music was crucial. We didn't want a lot of slow songs and wanted to keep everyone moving. Variety 100% listened to us! They played exactly the type of music I wanted. No one sat down! Our DJ had to, literally, tell guests three times that dinner was served because no one was sitting down! It was AMAZING! I am so happy with their service and have already refereed the to my friends!

***We also got the Step & Repeat instead of the photo booth and it was well worth it. Our guests LOVED it. I highly recommend it!

Variety did such a kick ass job on our wedding!! They completely worked within our budget and helped us throw the perfect reception. We had choreographed our first dance to include two songs, and Ray worked everything out smoothly on the day. I would highly recommend using Variety! I will definitely call them for future events.

Variety Music provided the music for our cocktail hour and reception. We had a piano player for the cocktail hour and then a DJ and MC for the reception. They were great! They played the music we talked about and did not play anything we had on the do not play list. The MC got people up on the dance floor and made it a great wedding! I would recommend Variety Music to anyone looking for music for an event!

Tom and Ray are the absolute BEST! They made our wedding a GIANT dance party, which was exactly what we wanted!!!! All of our guests told us that our wedding was one of the best they had ever been to because of the food and the music! During the planning process before the wedding, both Tom and Ray were also SO helpful in selecting songs that fit us perfectly throughout all parts of the ceremony/wedding celebration. They were so patient and kind and informative, and we can't wait to book them for another party in the future! This company may be viewed as expensive by some, but you get what you pay for---- nothing but the highest quality! :)

We hired Variety Music to DJ our wedding and it was a great decision! We came to them a little late in the game as our original DJ canceled on us and they were extremely helpful, accommodating and their price was very reasonable. We met with Ray, who was great. He answered all of our questions and did a great job letting us know all of the options we had. We ended up choosing to have their steel drum player, Howie, for our cocktail hour and he was awesome! Sal was our DJ for the night and he kept the dance floor full all night long. All night long people were commenting on how good our DJ was and said the music was awesome! We had an amazing wedding and they were a huge part of that. Thank you!

Ray and Tom did our wedding on 4/16/16 and they were amazing, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ and MC!! They were both so flexible and made sure that we got everything that we wanted in order to make our wedding perfect!! We are so happy that we chose Variety Music as our DJ. Almost a month after our wedding and we still have people telling us how much they loved our DJ and how great the music was. Variety read the crowd perfectly and kept the dance floor packed the whole night. Our MC spoke just enough to make sure our guests were having a good time but not so much that it felt overwhelming. We also had a drummer play steel drums during cocktail hour and percussion during the reception both of which went over really well with our crowd! There are not enough words to explain how much we loved our music vendor, Variety Music. After seeing them play at a bridal expo, we knew that we had to have them. After meeting with Ray and hearing him explain some key rules (never play the whole song, blend the songs effectively, transition through genres based on the crowd's reaction, etc.), we were confident that these people knew what they were talking about! When our wedding was getting closer, we met with the actual DJ who was SO excited about sharing his vision for our wedding that all of our stress seemed to melt away. It has been six months since our wedding, and we have been to many weddings over the past several months, and our guests still tell us how amazing our DJ and MC were... We strongly recommend Variety Music, and if we could do it all again, we would choose this vendor every time!

I used Variety Music for my wedding on 9/19/15 at Raphael Vineyard and I was extremely happy with everything! We booked a string duo for our ceremony, their acoustic guitar player/singer Andrew Gabriel for our extended cocktail hour, a photo booth, and had Tom as our DJ and Ray as our MC. Everyone did a great job and we have been getting nothing but rave reviews about all of the music-the ceremony music was beautiful, Andrew is very talented, and thanks to Tom and Ray the dance floor was full the whole time! Variety listened to what we wanted and made sure to follow through with all of our requests on our wedding day. Everyone we dealt with at Variety (we mostly spoke with Tom and Ray) was professional and we never had to wait for appointments to meet with them or answers to our many questions. They also had no problem accommodating us with wonderful music for the entirety of our wedding, which was longer than your typical 5 hour wedding. I would 100% recommend Variety Music (especially Tom, Ray and Andrew!) for any event you are planning -you will not regret it, and you will have peace of mind knowing that you are dealing with professionals who know how to throw a great party.

Our family and friends have been using Variety Music for over 10 years so when we got engaged we knew exactly who to go to. We requested Ray as our MC and had Tom as the DJ. We could not have been happier with the both of them. Before the wedding we met with Tom and after 5 minutes he knew exactly what we wanted. Everyone at the wedding was dancing the whole time. We also had a pianist and saxophone for the cocktail hour, then we had the saxophonist stay for and hour into the reception along with a percussionist till the end. They did the uplighting also which added the perfect touch to the room. Everything Variety brought to the wedding was amazing!

Tom, the person I booked the event with couldn't have been more accommodating. He even provided us with a music mix in advance of the event for our first dance. Harry the DJ was phenomenal. Personable, professional and kept the dance floor full for the entire event.

Variety Music did an amazing job at our wedding. Tom was the DJ and Ray was our MC. They had everyone up and dancing the whole time and everyone had a blast. We spoke about the type of music we liked and everything they played was what we wanted to hear. We had Howie do the steel drums during the cocktail hour and percussions during the reception and he was amazing! We also had the photo booth, which our guest had such a great time with. We got a photo book with all the pictures and the guests were able to write a little something to us, as well as a thumb drive of all the pictures! We got the room up lighting, which just looked great. We also got the plasma TVs where they put together a beautiful montage of my husband and I, and took pictures throughout the night and displayed them on the TVs (we also got a copy of these pictures). Tom, Ray and Howie were so friendly and such a pleasure to work with. We had a wonderful time at our wedding and highly recommend them!

Variety did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding. We received compliments about how great the music was throughout the night and even the days following our wedding! I don't think my husband and I stopped dancing the whole night. It was such a blast! The videographer seamlessly got awesome shots and captured so many incredible memories. Variety did a great job at our wedding on May 1! Tom was our DJ and Ray was our MC. My cousin had used both of them at her wedding a year before and at both weddings, the dance floor was packed the whole time! I would definitely recommend them, I don't think they could have done better! We also got the video montage & zap photos and we loved both! The montage came together beautifully and I'm so happy that i get to have that forever! The zap photos were also amazing, everytime anyone was about to take a picture the zap photo guy was right there taking the picture! The best part was that i got to leave with 700 pictures that night!! Thanks so much to the entire Variety staff for helping make our wedding a success!!

My husband and I are so happy we went with Variety Music for our wedding. We hired them after reading amazing reviews and the reviews are all true. They take the time to ask exactly what you want and they listen to you. Variety played the music we asked for and they kept everyone on the dance floor all night! We also got musicians through them to play at our ceremony and we had specific songs we wanted them to play (two Oasis songs and a Foo Fighters song) and they made it happen for us. Sal, Tom, Ray and everyone at Variety Music were so helpful throughout the entire planning process. They always responded within the day and even when I submitted my requests so close to the wedding, they got everything done so seamlessly. We are Egyptian, so we wanted to have 50% arabic music 50% American music and they did this PERFECTLY. I wouldn't have chosen anyone else for our wedding. Everyone told us after the wedding that the entertainment was amazing and that it was the best wedding they had every been to. I would like to think that Variety Music had A LOT to do with that. We hired Variety Music to DJ/MC for our wedding back in October. Every employee was amazing right from the start. My emails/question were responded to extremely quickly and they were all so helpful. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they make it their priority to make us feel comfortable and left us with nothing to worry about. The DJ and MC were great; I still get compliments to this day about their fun, positive attitudes and how they kept the energy and party going all night. We also made the decision to hire them to do our ceremony music. All I can say is, perfection! The music was on point from beginning to end. They helped make our day special and memorable. Variety Music made my wedding a "never sit down" party!! All the music was great, the staff was amazing, and Sergio (our MC) was so attentive all night to my husband and I. He made sure he was always communicating with us to ensure we were satisfied. Everyone had such a blast dancing and had a great time. And let me tell you - having Howie play the drums is a great touch - he is a must! Having the photo booth was also amazing. At the end of the night you get a photo book with the film strips in it with pictures of your guests and over 400 pictures on a flash drive. It was awesome to have those pictures to look at while patiently waiting on the pictures from our photographer. We received way more pictures from Variety Music than expected and were pleasantly surprised. Thank you guys so much to giving us and our guests the party of the year!

I LOVEEEEEEE Variety DJ! From the moment we signed up with Tom, he literally answered every single one of my questions. And I was constantly calling! We knew we wanted Sergio because we had a lot of Spanish speaking guests and wanted them to be able to know what was going on, plus he's not too bad on the eyes. We met our DJ Gerard on the day of and I was nervous because I didn't know who he was but they were freaking awesome!!! Literally everyone at our wedding was commenting on how amazing the DJ was, and how much fun they had. Once they found out I loved the Backstreet Boys, it was like a 90's girl's dream, because they played a TON of it. And all the guests were loving the throwbacks. We also used Craig as our videographer. Seriously...I would like to see the job application for this place because he was equally AMAZING. I don't know where they find such talented people. They are extremely professional and attentive to all the guests, and Craig was awesome. He wasn't intrusive at all like you see some creepy videographers getting in the way. He was awesome. I can't say enough good things about them. We also had another guy taking Zap photos, not sure what his name was but he was awesome too! I would definitely book with Variety a thousand times over because their level of service is top notch. And not only that but their prices are great and they are willing to work with you unlike many other vendors. Oh, and our ceremony music! I almost cried when I heard them playing "Tale as Old as Time" when I walked out with my parents. Seriously, book them or you're wasting your time and money.

I got married in November of 2014. We used Variety Music (Tom - DJ & Ray- EMCEE, as well as the Sinatra Singer and Sax Player) and we got NUMEROUS compliments from all of our guests on how AMAZING they were from start to finish. Working with them was an absolute pleasure. They are very responsive, they were able to work within our budget to provide us with a fantastic show at an affordable price! The music is ON POINT! We have attended about 5 weddings since ours and the music has completely ruined the experience. NOT WITH VARIETY MUSIC!! Every single time I have seen them perform (whether it is an actual event like a wedding or sweet 16 OR even just a bridal show) they are 100% on their game. Their presentation is beautiful, and I can not emphasize how professional they were. They provided us with a sheet to fill out to notify them of our song requests which worked perfectly. The entire night we had the ENTIRE WEDDING OF 170 ON THE DANCE FLOOR, even til the LAST SONG! I have never seen that! These guys make it happen. One of the MOST MEMORABLE parts of your special day is in the music and the dances. I am certain that I will be using ONLY Variety Music from here on out for all of our events!

I can't say enough good things about Variety Music!! The music at my wedding was amazing! My guest left tired because they never stopped dancing! Tom and Ray were incredible. We had a piano player for our ceremony, and even though we had some non-traditional songs, he played them beautifully and really made the ceremony special because the songs were very meaningful to us!

At the reception, we had a packed dance floor from start to finish. They really listened to what kind of music we requested, and played a majority of this. They even checked in with us halfway through the night to make sure we liked the kind of songs they were playing. We used Variety Music for our DJ, Zap Photo and Photo Booth. They were everything we could have asked for in a DJ and more. From the start, Tom & Ray were great to work with. When it came down to the final days, they were there to answer any and all questions quickly and accurately. I trusted that with my music preference, they would take care of us, and they absolutely did! They played everything we asked for, and avoided anything that we didn't want played, along with coming up with great song suggestions during our meetings. Everything came together beautifully. Guests could not stop complimenting the percussionist who added a little extra to each song. Ray kept the crowd going all night long, and the zap photographer had a blast with our guests, while capturing some awesome memories that we will have forever! Also, the photo booth was a great hit, and everyone loved it. I cannot say enough about how happy we are with Variety Music, and they will be the first we call the next time we need a DJ!

My husband and I are very happy we picked Ray and Tom from Variety Music to be are DJ and MC!!! They not only played what we requested from our list, they also played other music that coincided perfectly with our taste! Our guests were dancing the entire night and they certainly kept the party going till the end!! I would highly recommend them for your wedding!!!

We loved our DJ Rob! He made our night so much fun...he got everyone up out of their seats and on the dance floor! I definitely recommend using this company, and especially Rob!

Variety Music was absolutely amazing at our wedding!! Our DJ and MC were professional, attentive and made our night perfect. Everyone was immediately dancing as soon as we were announced and the party DID NOT STOP! WE love variety music!

They did my sisters wedding (a big affair with cocktail hour music and a Sinatra singer during dinner) and it was amazing. We danced all night long.

My wedding was much smaller and in a non-traditional venue and they were just as good. Kevin had us dancing as soon as we walked in the door until it was time to go home. They are flexible, courteous, prompt, detail-oriented, and affordable.

Anyone considering a DJ in the NY/NJ area should consider Variety.

We first experienced Variety Music at a wedding expo at the Marriot on Long Island. During their show we were impressed with the talent that Variety Music had to offer. After a lot of research and comparison shopping, we found that Variety Music offered the most for our money. We met with Ray, who took the time to explain all of our options and really listened to what we wanted for our wedding day, without trying to “sell” us on anything. We booked their string trio for our wedding ceremony, music for both our cocktail hour and reception, and their Frank Sinatra singer during dinner. Not only did they cater to our music needs, but also provided us with up-lighting to help us create the atmosphere we wanted for our reception space. When it got closer to our wedding date, we met with Tom who helped us decide on songs and really listened to the types of music we wanted to be played at our wedding. On our big day, Variety Music definitely delivered. The string trio was beautiful, the Frank Sinatra singer was spectacular, and Ray (our MC) and Tom (our DJ), kept our guests dancing and happy the whole day! We received so many compliments about the wide selection of music we had at our wedding, and so many of our guests were impressed with the Sinatra singer’s voice. I would highly recommend Variety Music to any couple that wants high-quality, customized entertainment for their wedding day!

Variety Music ROCKED my Wedding. I was a little concerned that no one would want to dance because I had an afternoon wedding- but Our DJ played all the right music to keep the dance floor hopping. There was a slight mixup at the time of booking with our MC, but Tom assured us that Sal was the man for our crowd/time of day and he was right- Sal was Friendly, everyone could understand what he was saying, and he was not overly loud! We requested to have the music toned down a little during the meal, and that was not an issue- which I have heard in the past, some DJ's don't like to tone it down.

We absolutely loved Variety music ! Tom rocked! He played all the right music and had all our guests dancing. He was so flexible and helped us when we wanted to surprise our guests with a different kind of 1st dance ! Ray was an upbeat and energetic MC! So many of my guests are still talking about his amazing voice and how well he was able to get things going. Thank you to Variety Music for making our wedding a huge success...it was definitely the fun party we always wanted !

My wedding was two weeks ago and I am still getting compliments about the DJ and music! Everyone loved the songs and everyone was dancing until 1:30AM.

We loved how professional but still fun this DJ company was.

Not only did we have great music, we added on their photo booth. My friends and family were obsessed! They took pictures all night. We also go a flash drive of all the pictures and video messages, and a scrapbook the attendant made for us during the night. I highly recommend this add-on! It was a comparable price to other photo booth companies.

We love these guys!!

I did not use Variety as my DJ because I already had a band, however if a DJ was my way to go I definitely would have used them. I used the photo booth and uplighting service. They were great to work with!!!

The DJ did a awesome job. Played all the great hits but most important, kept everyone on the dance floor. They also did our up lighting and it looked beautiful.

AMAZING!!!! They had everyone up and dancing the whole night and checked in with me and my husband through out the night to make sure we were happy with the music. They even checked with us before playing several requests that were made. The DJ was the most important thing to us and they could not have done a better job!

Carl and I can not even begin to express the gratitude we have for Variety. Two days after our wedding we still have people calling us and saying how amazing they were. We kept hearing from our guests that the MC just made you want to get up and dance and that is exactly what everyone did. Everything from the DJ, MC, Zap Photog, Photo Booth to Jim (Frank Sinatra singer) was just absolutely OUTSTANDING!
We could not have asked for anything better! Looking forward to working with them again!

My wife and I's wedding this weekend was absolutely phenomenal, largely due to the effort so Variety Musics amazing staff. We got an amazing package deal through them for DJ, Photography and Videography. We were a little worried that we wouldn't get the greatest service because the deal was so incredible in comparison to others we had spoken to (I'm talking thousands saved) but we WOULD HAVE EASILY PAID DOUBLE for the services that we received. The DJ was incredible. He and the MC kept everyone on the dance floor all night (even me and I'm a horrible dancer). They really helped make our Wedding the picture perfect event that it was. We had 178 people attend our wedding and about 100 people came up to me and my wife to tell us it was the best wedding they've ever been to. If you need a DJ, photographer or Videographer for anything and you use anyone other than Variety Music then you're making a mistake (and probably getting ripped off).

I picked the best possible DJ company for my wedding! Variety Music was amazing to work with and made my wedding a blast! My husband is in the Army so we had to plan our New York wedding from Texas! I thought it was going to be difficult and not turn out how I had hoped. Tom had no problem communicating through email with us for everything and really knew what we wanted. The photo booth was by far the best part of the entertainment, all the guests loved it! We were afraid since we had a lot of adults there that it wouldn’t be used, but put out a fuzzy pink boa and some silly glasses and suddenly everyone wanted in! It was a cute keepsake for them and made for an awesome guest book. The Photo montage they put together was perfect and so touching. Ray, our MC ran the show and really got everyone up and dancing. They really know how to throw a party! I really can’t stop talking about how happy I am with Variety Music and so happy and thankful they were part of my wedding day.

We got married two weeks ago and used Variety DJ as our vendor. They were great to work with and did a terrific job. We wanted to have a wedding with a packed dance floor and they did just that! There was never a dull moment, and we had tons of compliments at the end of the night. We also used their zap shots and photo montage and it was definitely worth it. Our pictures from the zaps came out great and they are a nice addition to the pictures from our photographer. We also got the photo booth and they opened it up for us so that we could fit more people in it - our friends and family absolutely loved it and the photo album that was made and signed that day is hysterical! We highly suggest this addition. Thanks Variety for a magical night!

A family friend recommended Variety DJ to us for our wedding and i'm SO glad they did! We had Tom as our DJ and Danny as our MC and they were perfect! They really knew how to keep our crowd of all ages dancing. I was told by some guests that they "never dance at weddings" but they did dance at ours because the music was so good! My wedding was a blast and people are still talking about how much fun they had. Thank you Variety DJ for helping me throw an amazing party!! These guys are the best out there :)

Variety Music provided what can only be described as perfect service for the entertainment at our wedding. We were so pleased with their professionalism, experience and value from the beginning of meeting with them, to the end of the actual wedding night. Many people told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, people were dancing and having so much fun all night. They listened to what we wanted and gave us much more than we could have ever hoped for. And they did it all at a great price.

I would highly recommend Variety Music for anyone looking to book a great DJ for their wedding.

Fantastic DJ. They are professional and took to our personal style of music. We were so happy that we had Variety Music as our DJ's for our wedding at The Crescent Beach club. This was the 2nd wedding that Ray and Variety Music worked for us and we couldn't be happier...so happy that we're back for the third daughter's wedding in November! Yes, this November! It turned out that Variety also did her Sweet Sixteen 14 years ago...so I guess you could call us satisfied customers.
All three of our daughters are very diffferent and so are their friends...each time the crowd was jumping all night long with the right music at the right time without anyone being "in your face". ..smooth and classy. Great job Variety!

Tom and Ray from Variety Music were a pleasure to be our dj for our wedding. I knew that they were the dj that we wanted for our wedding from the first wedding showcase I attended after we got engaged. They kept the crowd going and all my guests dancing. They even made it a point to highlight our ring bearer when he took control of the dance floor. Throughout the planning, Tom was very friendly and quick to reply back to emails. We’re both big promoters of music and believe that great music is the backdrop to a great memory. All the music we requested was played, and the entire day went flawlessly. They made our day a special one that we’ll never forget. We’d recommend Variety Music to anyone.

Tom and Ray were absolutely fantastic! My friend's Dad said at the end of the wedding "I haven't danced at a wedding in 10 years!" I'm almost positive every single person was out of their seats dancing! Tom was great as the DJ and Ray the MC was super professional and kept checking on us to make sure everything was going smoothly. They both went over everything with us before the wedding and it went off without a hitch! Fantastic!

The Variety Team was a total pleasure to work with from start to finish. They were friendly, worked with us to define a package that met our needs and were great with communications and follow up. On the night of our event, we could not possibly have asked for more! They did an AMAZING job of keeping everyone on the dance floor all night long. Nearly two weeks later and we are still getting phone calls from guests saying that the wedding was the best they ever attended and it was a total 'dance party!' The venus even pulled me aside half way through the wedding to say they'd never seen anything quite like our party! Danny was our DJ for our wedding this past Saturday. Words can not begin to describe the amazing job he did. Not only did he play every song we requested, he made a mix of them so they all flowed into one another. Everyone was up and dancing all night, including myself!
