Both Kristin and Kim were amazing. They showed up on time and made the long trek to Hilton Head Island from their primary location in center SC. It was much appreciated. I was really impressed with the girl's hair and make up for the day which held up well.

We loved Kyli and Janet at Vanity Salon and my bridesmaids and I have never felt more beautiful! Thank you so much for making our wedding day feel that much more special. We did a combination of hair, traditional makeup, and airbrush and not only were they super accommodating and professional for 11 people, but they also were so kind and friendly, even sharing some tips and tricks! The Full Package
The Full Package! Booking Vanity Salon and working with Kim, Holly, and Kristen was the easiest part of the wedding process. Not only was I able to get a soft glow tan but my makeup was flawless along with my hair. I was able to arrange for my mother and mother-in-law to also have their hair and makeup done. The looks were soft and natural but also bold enough to stand out in photos and remain on throughout the day. I would highly recommend using Vanity Salon for all bridal needs.

Vanity Salon (Mount Pleasant) offered the perfect stylist team for my October wedding in Charleston. Janet at Vanity salon is an actual Angel! Like you don’t understand. So let me tell you!!! I had a stylist at another salon bleach my hair horribly 2 days before my wedding. Janet at Vanity saved the actual day by color correcting it. Then did my hair and make up and mothers and bridesmaids 1 day later for the wedding day. She did a wonderful job! My make up never speared or ran once. Our hair styles stayed in lovely all night. She also is the kindest soul and so enjoyable to chat with. Such a caring loving lady. I HIGHLY recommend Vanity salon!

Great Experience!
We had a great time working with Vanity Salon. They were super flexible and sent 4 people to make sure that all 12 of us were done without having to start super early. None of my bridesmaid or I wanted anything too fancy, but the team was super efficient and finished all of us early enough that we had time for a dance party before we had to head over to the ceremony.

I highly recommend Vanity Salon for your wedding hair and makeup needs! After sharing some photos for inspiration, Kim, Janet, and Joel absolutely nailed the look I was going for. Not only that, but even after shedding some happy tears during the ceremony and dancing the night away, my hair and makeup stayed picture perfect (which is quite the feat considering that I have fine hair and oily skin). It's also worth mentioning that Vanity Salon offers on-site services! My bridal party and I were able to get our hair and makeup done at the wedding venue, which made for a more relaxing afternoon. Overall, Vanity Salon's services are top notch and they made getting ready an enjoyable experience!

Amazing wedding hair and make-up
I would 10/10 recommend hiring Vanity Salon for your wedding party hair and make-up. As the bride I was so blown away. I wasn't super pumped about my trial run so I was a bit nervous on the day of my wedding, but they have hired new people, specifically a new make-up artist and she was incredible. I absolutely LOVED my hair and make-up on my wedding day, and so did my entire bridal party. I showed pictures and they made the look come to life. We were very impressed. I had to reschedule my wedding twice due to Covid, and they were so flexible and great about working with me! If you are getting married in Charleston I would 100% give them a call!

I just loved working with Kim Coleman with Vanity Salon. She went above and beyond for my fiancé and myself I’m so many ways. She did a beautiful job on my makeup and did it very quickly because she’s so good at what she does. Same with my hair. It looked beautiful and lasted through nearly 2 hours in the wind by the Battery. That’s some skill! Do yourself a favor and book her!

Experienced, personable and so easy to work with!
I used Vanity salon to do my hair as well as my 6 bridesmaids, mother of the groom and my mom's hair for my wedding. Kim and Brittany were so easy to work with, personable and definitely demonstrated their experience with doing wedding hair! Each of my bridesmaids had a different hair style and both Kim and Brittany communicated expectations and shared recommendations based on each girl's hair type/texture. This ensured that everyone looked their best and that they were pleased with the outcome.
With our wedding being in Charleston, I was nervous that humidity and sweat would ruin our hairstyles but everyone's stayed in place perfectly throughout the day. My hair actually stayed curled and styled for 3 days after and even made it through a 5-mile hike on my honeymoon.
I would definitely recommend using Vanity salon for your wedding or if you need a professional styling for any event!!

I live in Texas and was not able to complete a trial run for hair/ make up, so I was very nervous about how everything would turn out for the big day. They did such a great job! On-Site Service Exceeded Expectations
Kirsten and her team from Vanity Salon came to our beach house on Isle of Palms for hair and makeup services for my bridal party and family. They were right on time and made everyone feel super comfortable with the process right away. Even with hair and makeup for 7 people, they finished right on time and everyone was thrilled with their look. My hair and makeup were flawless and stayed that way all day (and night!) I'm particular about my makeup especially but I felt completely comfortable and myself (just a little more glam, of course!) We just got our pictures back and everyone looks incredible on camera, too! I would highly recommend Vanity to any bride in Charleston!

What an amazing team!
I am so delighted we found Vanity for our wedding day hair and makeup! Of all the professional traveling artists in Charleston, they were the most affordable AND also highly impressive. I had a great trial with Teresa and Bailey at the Mt. Pleasant salon, and an even better day with them and Minnie on our wedding. We had 7 bridesmaids with a variety of hair textures and lengths, and Minnie and Teresa rocked them all. As someone with small, hooded eyes who doesn't wear much makeup, I was nervous about having mine done, but Bailey did a WONDERFUL job of creating a natural but glam look that lasted all night. On top of that, the three ladies did great with the timing of the day and getting through so many of us :). I cannot recommend Vanity enough!

Very pleased with Vanity Salon’s wedding services! From the spray tan I got prior to the wedding, to the on-site hair and makeup services the day of the wedding, everything was great! The pricing is also reasonable. Ashley and Kristen were delightful to work with and very flexible and accommodating to my needs. Also, I planned my Charleston wedding from 900 miles away but it was easy to coordinate everything via email. Vanity Salon created my wonderful look for my bridal portraits as well as for my wedding. They were timely with responding to questions prior and professional throughout the entire process. I am personally not a big make-up/hair person and I feel as though my stylist was able to cultivate a look that not only looked great in photographs but captured the essence of my personality. I was super happy with my look in both my portraits and at my wedding. As far as the day of my wedding- the ladies from the salon were on time and Vanity did a wonderful job sending the appropriate amount of stylists so that we didn't have to stress about being done on time. I would 100% recommend Vanity Salon for your next event or wedding!

Very profesional, very thorough, wonderful talent! We had a beach wedding and the reception was outdoors in a park. Everyone looks fabulous and not a hair moved the entire night. We were all extremely pleased!

The stylists at Vanity Salon were a pleasure to work with on the day of the wedding (and also to communicate with in my many emails during the planning stages). Chelsea did my hair and makeup on the day of (as well as my trial earlier in the month), and she was great. Professional, friendly, gave input to my hairstyle ideas, listened to what I wanted while offering no-pressure suggestions. She and two other stylists came to us on-location on the day of the wedding which was so much easier than trying to get everybody to their salon in a timely fashion. We had 10 people get their hair done, and I thought each of the styles was beautiful but also unique. They really made the getting ready process easy and fun. Thank you!

It was very easy and seamless working with the ladies at Vanity Salon. From coordinating who needed what services in my bridal party to when the trial run would be and then the actual details for the big day, I felt like Vanity was totally behind me and working their best to help me and my bridesmaids. We ended up doing hair for 4 bridesmaids and a flowergirl, and then I did both hair and airbrush makeup. All the bridesmaids and flowergirl were very happy with how their looks came out, as was I. I actually ended up changing both my hair and makeup to varying degrees from my trial run, but this was no problem at all and I was really happy with how the final hair and makeup turned out. Plus, the makeup stayed perfect all night long and my hair never budged, even when my veil had to be adjusted multiple times because we couldn't secure it correctly. Would definetely recommend these ladies.

I am SO happy I discovered Vanity Salon. We planned our wedding out of state and they are so professional, quick to respond and easy to work with. Their services and attention to detail are incredible. My bridal party was so pleased and never felt so beautiful. I definitely recommend the airbrush, I was apprehensive at first but it was very thin and looked flawless. I would recommend them to anyone, thank you so much ladies!

Ashley and her partner were fantastic! They were extremely flexible when my wedding was postponed during a hurricane. They listened to everything we wanted, and our makeup was flawless. It came out perfect in pictures, and everyone looked stunning. We can't recommend them enough. Actually, I recommended Vanity Salon to a friend who used them for her wedding! It was a great experience then as well!

Kim is an exceptional hairstylist and made my hair look perfect on my wedding day! She was very friendly, on time, and listened to me to create the exact hairstyle that I was envisioning. She was patient with me and took the extra time to make sure that I felt absolutely flawless. Kim and her assistant also did a beautiful job with each of my bridesmaids' hairstyles as well, and we all got so many compliments on our hair. The photographs all turned out so beautiful. I have one simple word to describe their services, Amazing!!! My husband and I planned a destination wedding and I was told about Vanity Salon from my wedding planner. From the trials to the wedding day they were nothing short of amazing. On the wedding day they had hair and makeup for 11 women, styling and molding to each different person and their tastes. My matron of honor who has been in several weddings said that she has never loved a hairstyle more than her hair on my wedding day! I've been going to Vanity for the last year for my hair, so it was only logical that I get my hair and make up done for my wedding. Kim is a true artist and professional when it comes to hair and make up. There's a reason why she is rank top in Charleston for hair and make up, and why she is the chosen hair and make up artist for Miss Teen USA. She is amazing at what she does. She was very accommodating when I had to change my hairstyle last minute, from what I had originally done for the trial. She made me look like a princess on my special day!

I'm SO thankful that I found Vanity Salon - they made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! Kim and Kristen L. did hair while Ashley did makeup. They were so efficient and professional in setting up everything onsite and doing hair/makeup for 10 of us (including bridesmaids, family, friends, etc). Kim and Kristen were such talented stylists - we showed them Pinterest updos/hairstyles on our phones; they took a quick peek and then executed this amazing result! A lot of us don't wear a ton of everyday makeup and had no idea what we wanted, so we gave Ashley really vague instructions and she made us look beautiful! I loved my airbrush makeup - it stayed pristine through rain, sweat, and tears! I never even had the chance to do a hair or makeup trial, but I couldn't have been happier with how my bridal look came out the day of- it was PERFECT!
The Vanity ladies were the sweetest and truly went above and beyond! I really appreciated how they comforted me through my "I can't believe it's a tropical storm on my wedding day" meltdown. BRILLIANT! I loved Vanity Salon. I booked the onsite bridal team of 2 for my big day. Originally, I had booked them only for my bridesmaids, and mother/mother-in-law, however when I had a HORRID hair trial with another person they were eager to help, and willing to accommodate adding bridal hair/make-up to the list. The week of the wedding I did my hair/make-up trial and was very impressed. The day of, my hair and make-up was even BETTER! All of my bridesmaids, and both moms looked beautiful. The members of Vanity Salon are professional, experienced, and so pleasant to work with! A must for any bride wanting to feel beautiful on her wedding day!

Normally I'm on the other side doing hair and makeup for brides and bridesmaids with vanity salon but April, 29th was my wedding day. I never did a trial and just trusted them to make me look beautiful on my wedding day. Kristen, Kim, Shauna and Ashley exceeded my expectations! I work with these ladies every day so I know they are great but they went above and beyond to make my girls and I look and feel perfect!! I had about 20 services. The girls arrived early and had everything set up and ready to go. They finished with time to spare! My hair is stick straight but Kristen managed to keep a curl in my hair all night. I cried several times throughout the day and my airbrush makeup that ashley did didn't move at all!! I couldn't have been happier with the way everything turned out! Thank you ladies for helping to make my day perfect!!!

Thank you to Shauna and the stylists of Vanity Salon for making my bridesmaids, mother, mother in-law and cousins and I look fabulous for my wedding. They travelled to our venue and were able to have everyone ready for pictures. They were super professional and accommodating to the requests of my bridal party. They came to my hotel before the wedding and did my 5 bridesmaids, my mom, my husbands mom, and my hair and makeup. Every single one of us LOVED our hair and makeup! I am so glad I chose Vanity Salon to do my wedding hair and makeup. I was more than happy with their work and I got so many compliments throughout the day, especially on my hair! They also did hair for my mom and four of my bridesmaids. Everyone was happy with how their hair turned out! I was nervous about my hair and makeup lasting through four hours of outdoor photos before the ceremony, so I was very impressed when I only had to do a few touch ups. The two ladies that helped us on my wedding day were fantastic! They were polite, kind, funny, personable, and more importantly, willing to grant us our makeup and hair requests. Our wedding party was compiled of ladies who do not really embrace makeup or elaborate hair styling; we were all a bit skeptical from bad past experiences, but Vanity Salon respected our wishes and made each and everyone one of us look incredible! Vanity Salon came highly recommended to me from a friend for our wedding. I was immediately impressed with their easy to navigate website and their reasonable prices. I went to the studio to have a trial hair and makeup done before my wedding. I had an idea of what I wanted but Ashlynn was awesome in understanding exactly what I wanted and making it work for my hair type. She was so much fun and I trusted her expertise (who knew purple eye shadow could look so good!). Then on my wedding day Ashlynn and Chelsea came to our house and were early! They did up-dos for my 6 bridesmaid who all have very different hair types and again were so much fun. I received so many compliments on how beautiful my hair and make-up was and couldn't believe how well the airbrush held up through the rain and sweat of an outdoor wedding! The Vanity Team was on point with ensuring my gals and I were glammed out for my renewal of vows! With both a beauty bus or in hotel suite services, you pick how to get ready the day of. I chose to have Kristin and Shauna come out to the suite the day of the renewal. The 2 ladies came out and did a beautiful job on over 10 women. Between hair, lashes, makeup, and airbrush, Kristin and Shauna rolled with the punches and got everyone done with time to spare. I specifically have to shout out Shawna for my hair. The renewal was Great Gatsby-esque and my hair was a flawlessly executed, textured finger wave up do. Probably more of the focus than even my dress, my hair was on point. Thanks gals again. The salon representatives are responsive to any and all emails, my trial along with my mothers was scheduled with ease and even on their day off to accommodate us. They were very polite and professional and a blast to hang out with while they were getting me and my bridal party ready for the wedding. We all looked amazing! They listened to us but also gave helpful advice based on our hair types so that needless time wouldn't be wasted on styles that were just never going to work. Overall a fabulous time and would definently recommend Vanity Salon to anyone that wants to look great for a special event!

Liz and Chelsea were amazing! I have never felt more beautiful in my life!!! We had them come on-site to the hotel to get ready for the big day, and it was super easy and stress free start to our wedding day preparations. The air brush makeup was flawless, and it was so nice to have the "back up" lip gloss in the mini applicator to "refresh" with after dinner. Even after (happy!) tears, dancing and hugging everyone, I looked just as great at the end of the night. I went in for a bridal trial, and Liz was so helpful in working with me to determine just how I wanted my updo and make up to look. Would highly recommend the ladies of Vanity to anyone!

I couldn't have asked for better service for one of the most important days of my life. The girls were punctual, got all my girls/bridal party and myself picture ready beautifully with time to spare. Vanity Salon was wonderful to work with for our wedding. Kim and Ashley were incredibly flexible helping me coordinate everything. Shauna was wonderful handling both my trials as well as the day-of. My hair stayed together beautifully, despite the heavy winds during our outdoor ceremony. I was so happy they convinced me to do airbrush makeup – it felt light and really stayed in place all night. The stylists traveled to Wild Dunes to do the hair/makeup of my wedding party and special guests. Everyone was so happy with how their hair turned out, and it was such a fun and relaxing day for all of us.

Vanity did an amazing job for my recent wedding in Charleston, SC. My sister had used them for her friends wedding a couple months before and recommended them to me. I did a trial there and the stylist did my hair exactly as the picture I had. I didn't have many ideas for my makeup and usually do not wear a
lot so I told Ashley that I trusted her judgement. She did a fantastic job and even brought the lipgloss and lipstick for me to take with me all night to re apply. The airbrush makeup is a must! I thought it would feel heavy and look fake but it looked so natural and looks great in pictures. 3 stylists came to our home to do my entire bridal party of 9 in addition to my mom and my aunt. We were done in plenty of time, never felt rushed and everyone loved their hair and makeup. The stylists were so pleasant and fun to be around and really made everyone feel beautiful and special. Prices are pretty typical for bridal, not too high but not the lowest, but I am happy with how it turned out and felt like it was money well spent! They communicated well and were very organized through the entire process. All the girls can pay separate and they accept any form of payment even if they come to your home. The travel fee is worth it! I would recommend them to any bride!

This place is truly amazing! Theta are top notch and they work with some of the most beautiful girls in the world with The Miss America Pageant! I have used vanity for all of my wedding photo sessions and my work has been published because of their creativity and dedication! Their hair and makeup application is flawless and they make this National Photographer look AMAZING!!!! You need to book these artists. They are professional and truly one of a kind!

Kim and team were so great to work with - very accommodating and most importantly, great at what they do. Everyone in my wedding party looked beautiful thanks to Kim and her team's make up and hair skills. The best part was that I (the bride) did a consultation with Kim to decide on my hair style a few days before my wedding. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, but explained to Kim what I knew I didn't like and showed her pictures of things I did and didn't like. She asked me a lot of questions and also looked at some pictures of me from special events and day to day to help me decide on the perfect hairstyle that was still me and formal enough for me wedding. She did a great job of helping me highlight my personality and my hair! I would recommend Kim and her team to any bride and bridal party!!! Cannot say enough good things about Kim and her team! Amazing customer service and I felt so comfortable with them! I am extremely attached and particular about my hair and WOW - I have never been more in love with my hair and extensions.The compliments have not stopped and my hair looks and feels healthier than ever. My hair is naturally red and very hard to match, and Kim personally customized the color absolutely seamlessly. I've had other extensions before and the color, comfort, and quality do not even compare. Not to mention how she blended and styled them for competing at Miss South Carolina USA - I felt like a million bucks onstage and in interview and still do weeks later! I contacted Vanity after checking out their excellent reviews and asked for Kim Coleman. I made an appointment for the following week. Going from a longer haircut to a very short one was something I wanted to try, and Kim made the experience great! Thanks, Kim, for my new "Jennifer Lawrence" style. The whole team we worked with was absoultely wonderful. Very talented at both hair and makeup and great personalities. Added a whole extra team for wedding guests that wanted their hair done as well and they were very accomodating with all of this. Pretty decently priced compared to others I researched especially if you want them to travel to you! I would recommend this salon to anyone!

The ladies were all so sweet and so accommodating. I couldn't imagine any better experience for my bridal portraits and my wedding day! My mom, who never lets anyone touch her hair and make up, was super impressed along with all my bridesmaids. If I could do it all over again, I'd use Vanity every time!

Cannot say enough about Kim and her staff from Vanity Salon! We had the Stylebus come to our venue and they did makeup and hair for 8 ladies! It was so much fun! It is such a novel idea and worked out great! Their professionalism in handling 8 women in a mobile unit was over and beyond our expectation! They were flexible with the services the ladies wanted and handled all personalities on the bus in a professional manner.

Kim and Ashley were EXCELLENT! We got married on Johns Island, and all stayed in beach houses on Folly Beach. They came out to our beach house and set up camp right in the living room--it was so convenient! They did the makeup for all 8 of my bridesmaids, myself, my mom, and my grandmother. They brought their airbrush makeup and regular makeup so that each girl could decide which type they wanted. I got airbrush and fake lashes which was more expensive, but totally worth it. My husband and I danced ALL night at an outdoor venue, and my makeup still looked beautiful at the end of the night.
I would highly recommend doing a trial at their salon. What I originally thought would look great for our vintage style wedding (red lips, really made up eyes), I ended up not liking once I looked at it throughout the day. It was beautiful for a night out, but not the look I wanted for my wedding. We ended up going with a more natural look, with tans and browns on the eyes and a pink lip, and I LOVED it. If I hadn't done the trial, I never would have known that my original idea for wedding makeup was not the look I wanted.
I was incredibly happy with all of my bridal party's makeup, and would highly recommend Vanity to other brides!
