VANESSA WAS AWESOME! SHE WAS ABLE TO FULFILL OUR WISH OF TAKING OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT MISSION SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO. THE PICTURES ARE BEAUTIFUL (ALL OF WHICH ARE DISPLAYED AROUND MY HOME) AND SHE MADE IT A VERY COMFORTABLE AND FUN EXPERIENCE FOR THE BOTH OF US. -

Embarrassing
This photographer thinks it’s ok to use cultural appropriation for her photos. She is absolutely tactless and thinks dressing white people in fake “indigenous clothing” is ok. Shame on you . -

Disgusting use of Native Culture
Vanessa should really think about how she uses a person's culture in her photography. As a native, I find her use of my culture disgusting. -

Tone deaf and not aware
Native American photography was such a dumb racist and tone deaf idea. Do better. -

Racist Photographer
My indigenous culture is a costume to absolutely no one. This is unacceptable behavior. You and anyone who supports you should be ashamed. -

This photographer is ignorant and racist. She culturally appropriated Native American culture and showed insensitivity. Please bring your business elsewhere. -

Disrespectful
As a Native American, the fact that there is an option for NON-Natives to TRY & dress/look like us is repulsive, disgusting & beyond disrespectful. Our customs, traditions, how we look/dress is NOT for others to play dress up! Get an education & learn some respect! -

Culture appropriation
Our regalia is not something that you could use for your aesthetic. Those are handmade and tell stories, tons of hard work it put into them. Just because it reminds you of your pony, doesn’t make it right! This is disgusting. -

Ignorant, culture appropriation
This photographer thinks it is perfectly fine to appropriate culture in the most heinous way. Obviously she is ignorant to other cultures feelings and beliefs. Will never recommend. -

Culture appropriation
This photographer has shown her ignorance by using cheap tacky store bought head dresses and native costumes which was inspired by her horse which reminds her of a “good Indian pony”. Ma’am Native American regalia is earned and hand made to tell a personal story and is sacred to many tribes and not to be used for your sick fantasies. Do not book this person. -
