  Van Scoy is a professional jewelry store with personal service that you will not find at a chain in the mall. All of the associates are friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to shop there for our wedding bands.

  My husband specially designed my ring online, but forgot to design a band. Me assuming he had it and him not thinking about it we figured it out 2 months before the wedding. So he ordered one online, it came 2 weeks prior to our wedding and was the wrong size, cut, everything. So we found this local jewelry store and they were absolutely amazing. They went out of their way to find a perfect match and it did get here on time. They were very attentative and were just as concerned as I was to receive a ring on time. I will forever order from them since they were so accomodating to us.

  To say VanScoy Wilkes-Barre saved my wedding might be a bit of an overstatement; but after my original vendor closed suddenly in the midst of personal bankruptcy, holding my personal family diamonds to be set into my wedding band in their store, I was desperate to find someone to make a wedding band to fit my unique engagement ring. We went to the jeweler and they sat down and helped me to find the perfect band - and it was actually a "standard" band - so it was easy to order and get in quickly. They offer free cleanings and inspections of your ring, and have even fixed the prongs of my engagement ring were catching my hair and other fibers. We will be life-long VanScoy shoppers!

  My husband bought my engagement ring at Van Scoy in Scranton. The ring is beautiful and he says that the jeweler spent a great deal of time with him deciding on what ring he wanted to get me. He was very patient explaining the different cuts of diamonds as well as the settings. After I was given my ring, I took it back routinely for polishing. Every time I went in, they were very friendly and helpful. We decided that my husband was going to get his wedding band there, and since I wear my grandmother's wedding band, I wanted mine engraved with our initials with my grandparents. Van Scoy was very helpful with both his and mine. I would recommend this place to anyone -- overall wonderful experience and we absolutely love our rings.

  I had a very hard time finding a wedding band that would fit my engagement ring, but I couldn't afford getting a custom one. After many months of looking my mother told me to go into Van Scoy because we were in the area. I am glad that I did. They were very open to finding a ring that fit my engagement ring.   My husband and I picked out my engagement ring together at Van Scoy. The woman who helped us was great and really knowledgable and helpful. She set up an appointment for us to meet the designer of the ring that we chose. The whole process was very exciting and all went very smoothly. I could not be happier with my engagement and wedding rings.

We found a band I liked and then they were able to put the diamonds in that I wanted. They took a little longer than I thought necessary, having paid off the rings long before they were available for pick up.
