The Dj knew exactly what we wanted. As the guy in charge of this part. I was very pleased with the process and outcome. The wedding was just how we wanted it. We threw a couple curve balls at him during the night and he home runs with all of them. We are so thankful

A Job Well Done!

Van Rixel Productions were super easy to work with, showed up on time, and did an amazing job. I was pretty particular about the music, so having access to the portal where I could upload playlists was an awesome feature. Would highly recommend! Thank you!

So much fun!

DJ Skibs did an amazing job DJing our wedding. He took into account our song choices and also added his own music that fit the vibe and kept the party going. One of our favorite moments was the last song - he picked the perfect song from our recommendation list that truly encapsulated the moment. We loved it! Thank you so much)

Excellent Experience, Highly Recommend

My wife and I had an excellent experience with Van Rixel Productions! David was our DJ and talked us through everything that we could expect for our day. We were grateful for the extra setup for our outdoor ceremony, and how smoothly David transitioned from ceremony to reception. We shared our Spotify playlist with requests via the online platform, and David used that to create the perfect set! Multiple guests commented on what a great job he did. A good DJ can keep the music playing, but a great DJ will read the crowd and respond accordingly, and David did just that. He kept the energy and engagement until the very end; he was professional, and extremely helpful with the small details. We had a great experience and would highly recommend him.

Would hire again!

We had a smooth effortless wedding day all thanks to Mason at Van Rixel. He kept the dance floor busy, which was the most important thing to us. Working with him leading up to and on our wedding day was easy and efficient, and I would recommend Van Rixel to anyone looking for a wedding dj!

Amazing dj!

We couldn't have been happier with a DJ for our wedding. Rolando was so professional. He took a significant amount of time to meet with us before the event to get to know about us, our interests, and the kind of night we wanted to host for our friends and family. He took our song requests and made a list that was his own, but definitely reflective of our tastes. He kept our friends on the floor until they kicked us out. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Very pleased!

Awesome job! Denis, our DJ played everything from 90s R&B/Hip Hop to current with a mix of country and alternative music to please the bride/groom. The songs flowed very well. 10/10 recommend. Lighting was beautiful and everyone enjoyed the photo booth.

Rolando was the BEST!!!

Van Rixel Productions was fantastic to work with for our May 2022 wedding. The owner is friendly and very personable, and walked us through the whole process. We loved the option to keep things as simple as we wanted, with the ability to add on lots of extras (like a photo booth). We loved working with the company, and cannot say enough about our experience with Rolando. HE WAS AMAZING!!! He was easy to communicate with, and very responsive to our questions/requests/changes as the big day drew closer. Dance Floor was PACKED all night!

Denis with VanRixel Productions did an AMAZING job as our wedding DJ! Our dance floor was packed from the moment our first dances were over to the very end of the night when the venue had to tell everyone to stop boogying and get out! We have received so many compliments about how our guests have never been on such a fun dance floor. We loved that VanRixel had an online portal to submit song ideas, this helped Denis have an idea of the styles of music we wanted played throughout every part of our day. And it allowed us to highlight must-play songs! Highly highly recommend VanRixel!

Great experience!

I found out about Van Rixel from attending a bridal expo and am so glad we chose them! We did a Zoom meeting with David the owner and he was very personable and felt like they were take good care of us and we were right! Our DJ was Luke and he met up with us to discuss our song choices, things that were important to us and I felt like he did a great job. Our guests had a blast and were dancing the whole time and he was great at keeping everything moving along and keeping the party going. Luke was also great in keeping one of the wedding songs a surprise from my now husband which was great. Loved the portal to be able to list our Must Play and Do Not Play songs - thought he did a great job!

Successful Wedding DJ

Our wedding DJ was in charge of the ceremony music, cocktail hour music and the reception music. He made the entire night FLOW together very well. He played songs that most people at weddings wanted! Great DJ.

Splendid Addition to a Perfect Evening

Van Rixel Productions was the very best choice we could make for having music at our wedding. They offered great help and clear choices during our planning phase, they offered excellent music for our pre-ceremony cocktail hour, our the ceremony itself, and of course our dancing after dinner. They also helped to facilitate use of microphones during wedding speeches.

Our DJ and MC for the evening, Brian Dorn, was superb and handled everything with great professionalism while simultaneously ensuring everyone had great fun. Our crowd had a great range of ages and musical tastes, but he ensured everyone was happy with the songs and ceremonies and kept our evening on time and gave everyone appropriate introductions. His service demonstrates the high quality of Van Rixel Productions' team.

Van Rixel Productions was an absolutely fantastic choice for our wedding! They were always quick to respond, friendly, and well-priced. They also give you a portal where you can add songs to "must play" and "do not play" etc. playlists, which we thought was really cool. Our DJ was DJ Anthony, and he was the best! He mixed and blended songs so well so that it was a continuous dance party vs. just playing a playlist. We had many compliments! Overall, a great experience, and I would absolutely hire them all over again.

Exceeded already high expectations!

Would definitely recommend Van Rixel to anyone. Van Rixel was really great and easy to work with. They answered every question we had in timely manner and put on a great party. We were fortunate to have both David and Bentley as our DJ's. Everything was very professional and we had zero issues. One really nice touch was Bentley singing a song for just us on the dance floor. They did a really great job and helped make our day special.

Wonderful Wedding DJ!

I highly recommend Van Rixel productions to anyone looking for a wedding DJ! We hired VRP to do our wedding right before COVID really hit the U.S., and as a result, we had to reschedule our event three times. VRP was WONDERFUL through all of those changes! They were always quick communicators and super understanding. Shortly before our actual day, our DJ experienced an emergency that made him (quite understandably) unable to DJ, but my husband and I never had to sweat it, because VRP immediately had Anthony available to step in. Anthony did such an incredible job during our ceremony and reception, and was so easy to work with! Really, I have only positive things to say about the team over at VRP.

Best DJ experience ever

Easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding was to go with Van Rixel Productions. David made the transition very easy for us and the communication from them was the best. Other vendors for our wedding we had doubts but not with them. Our DJ Keith, was absolutely amazing. I rarely write reviews but it is warranted since they were absolutely astounding from start to finish. Received so many compliments from our guests about their experience with the music and the DJ. Keith really made us feel at ease when coordinating our big day. He is one of the nicest, most professional people I’ve ever worked with. I highly recommend and you will not be disappointed.

Keith is the GOAT

Van Rixel was an awesome choice for our wedding. Our DJ, Keith, was totally amazing. He was super respectful and receptive to our suggestions about how we wanted the evening to go, and we didn't have to worry at all about him setting up his gear, etc. Also important: the music was amazing! I had multiple friends come up to me and say that our dancing was the most fun they ever had at a wedding, and they thought it was because Keith just played great music and managed the rhythm of the night really well. He was also able to go with the flow when things were going off schedule or not as planned -- a really calming and amazing presence in the room. Can't say enough good things! Thank you, Keith, for helping all our guests have such a great time :)

Fun and Professional!

We had an awesome experience with Van Rixel! Our DJ, John, was energetic and professional and helped keep the dance floor packed all night. We had a fairly specific song list built up over time, and John was able to play everything that we wanted to hear and was accommodating to any special request that we had! We would definitely recommend their services.

Couldn't have asked for anything more

From the start our most important part of our wedding was the dancing. We never wanted the floor empty and we didn't want slow songs, only fun party songs. The dance floor was always packed and we had multiple friends and family tell us how awesome the DJ was. Thanks Rolando!

Easy to work with, professional, and get the party going!

I highly recommend Van Rixel Productions. My husband and I actually met at a wedding where Van Rixel Productions was the DJ company. The music was awesome and we had such a blast that we knew we wanted to hire them for our wedding. Brian was our DJ and he was great. He had to be the master of ceremonies for a short ceremony and then the reception and he did a great job of adjusting the timeline and reading the room to take breaks or make adjustments exactly how I wanted him to without even having to talk to him. He honored all of our recommendations and the style of music we liked, but also added amazing music that kept people on the dance floor. He also honored guest requests and checked with us when he was worried the requests were against our musical taste. The dance floor was busy and we were incredibly satisfied. Highly recommend Brian and Van Rixel! Along with Van Rixel, we booked our videographer, Chris, with CR Films. The package deal was INCREDIBLY affordable as opposed to other videography companies. Chris did an amazing 20 minute video for our COVID ceremony plus a live stream and then captured our 2021 reception beautifully. The deal of Van Rixel and CR Films can't be beat! Highly recommend!!

The dance floor was never empty

Van Rixel Productions were amazing. They take the time to sit down with you and review music choices that you want. They help fill in gaps where some genres need to be added. They even will do some sound effects to songs to make them more dramatic. We had Ralf as our DJ and the dance floor was never empty. Thanks Van Rixel for making our day extra special.

Wow! Could not have asked for a better DJ or company!

Van Rixel did an outstanding job at our wedding! Unfortunately 3 days prior to the wedding, the DJ we had been working with was exposed to COVID. Immediately the company owner, David, had a replacement DJ for us. Chris was incredible. We had an hour long phone meeting with him the night that he was assigned our wedding. It was an hour because we were very picky on what music we wanted for our wedding but he just went with it. He made me feel much more relaxed after having to work with a brand new DJ so close to the wedding and having to get him up to speed on our songs, special dances, and special requests. Chris exceeded our expectations!! He played all of the songs that we wanted, at exactly the right times. He didn’t play any of the “do not play” list songs (which was long). And he would ask my husband or I if we could play certain requests, as I said, we were picky. We didn’t want any of the “typical” songs you hear at weddings, we wanted something different, so he also picked great music that matched our taste for the rest of the night. During the ceremony it was pretty windy and our pianist’s sheet music was not staying put, Chris came over and held it for her while she played. Honestly I cannot say enough good things Chris as our DJ. There isn’t one thing I would change. We had such a great time dancing the night away. I would HIGHLY recommend Van Rixel Productions for your event, you won’t be disappointed.

Lock them in and let them go to work!

We had the pleasure of dealing with Van Rixel Productions for our entertaining on our day and Luke was our DJ. Luke and David paid very close attention to detail. There was very little we had to go over on the wedding day and everything went exactly how we planned after going over final details a week prior to the wedding. We had our wedding in Green Bay and they were on time and had everything ready to go with ease, even with all the traveling they had to do! We will be recommending Van Rixel Productions to everyone we know that has events coming up.

Our Best Decision!

Your Wedding DJ can make or break your event! Ralf was our assigned wedding DJ and we were so pleased with his professionalism and the way that he was able to make the room feel connected and intimate, although we had 250+ guests. I loved Van Rixel’s digital portal that organized all of our wedding information (bridal party list, timeline documents, important phone numbers document, do not play list, play only if requested list, must play list, etc. ). I felt secure knowing that Ralf had the information he needed ahead of time to make the reception run smoothly. Reviewing all of these documents with Ralf at our pre-wedding meeting put me at ease and allowed me to be present during the entire reception. So many people commented on how warm Ralf was, how the evening progressed fluidly with his guidance, and how great the music was! Would highly recommend Van Rixel Productions and all of their DJs!

Awesome DJ

From the beginning David was great to talk to. He got to know us and what we needed for our wedding day. He kept in touch with us and made the process very easy. When the big day came we were both extremely impressed with our DJ, Rolando. He was always asking us what we needed or if he could do something. He kept the dance floor packed until the very last song and had turn people away when it was time for the night to end. He made our day a party that everyone will continue to talk about. The up lighting was beautiful and everything looked complete. We couldn't be happier with the services!!

Absolutely perfect!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! David was our dj and he kept the dance floor packed the whole night. On the day of, he was super organized and punctual. He had to set up outside for our ceremony and inside for the cocktail hour/reception and he did so without there being any “dead time” where no music was playing. He also didn’t have to ask me a single question which is a life saver for a bride who has a million other things going on! I would highly recommend Van Rixel Productions!

We had Jesse as our DJ and he was amazing! Everyone from my grandma to my friends loved him, which is a hard task to do. He went above and beyond what a DJ is supposed to do, and for that I would highly recommend Van Rixel and Jesse.

When my husband & I first got engaged, we thought we didn’t need a DJ and could just make a playlist and connect an iPod to speakers. My mom convinced us we needed a DJ and found Van Rixel Productions for us; I am SO glad she did! Jesse was our DJ and he was INCREDIBLE! He facilitated the speeches during dinner to keep things moving at a good pace (but never rushed anything). Even though one of them wasn’t in their online request system, he found and played the exact songs we requested for our first dance and father-daughter dance (which doesn’t always happen in the weddings I’ve been to). Most importantly, he ensured everyone had an awesome time dancing the night away! We had guests ranging in age from 4 - 85, and he played a variety of music that everyone enjoyed and had fun dancing to. We made a list of requests beforehand and he played many of the songs we requested as well as several that were definitely popular with our guests that we hadn’t thought of. He didn’t just press play though; he was a wonderful emcee the entire night and sprinkled in the perfect amount of commentary. He also played the songs our guests requested and made sure to get our permission if they were at all explicit (which we appreciated because there were kids there for a good chunk of the dancing). I can’t emphasize enough how well he did at keeping the dance floor packed and the atmosphere fun all night long. We had guests dancing after we left and until the reception ended and the last trolley was there to pick people up. At my mom’s request, he quickly got everyone off the dance floor so they wouldn’t miss the trolley back to their hotels. Jesse was the best DJ we could have asked for and he far exceeded my expectations. He was also incredibly nice and made sure to introduce himself to my husband and I when we got to the reception venue and came and said goodbye after our last dance. I cannot recommend Jesse from Van Rixel Productions more highly, so make sure you book him if you can!

David at Van Rixel was AMAZING! During our first meeting, he sold himself as being the "Master of Ceremonies," and we were sold. David went beyond our expectations in planning our playlist and event timeline and had our guests on the dancefloor the whole night. We used Van Rixel Productions for our 9/9/17 wedding, and we could not have been more impressed with our DJ, Rolando. He truly went above and beyond what we expected him to do. We loved that he introduced himself to our guests before the dancing began, and many guests commented on how unique that was and how much they liked it. He truly was an integral part of making our night go smoothly, and everything went perfectly! He really was so much more than a DJ- he was continuously checking in with us throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were satisfied with everything. We didn't have a huge amount of songs we pre-selected, but he picked up on our music taste so well. Music is a pretty big part of my life, and I was so happy that I could say that I LOVED the music at my own wedding. Highly recommend!

The only small issue I had is that they did not inform us that they changed locations/addresses. We sent a payment check to them and never got any confirmation. I had to reach out to them, and it wasn't until then that they told us they moved locations. I had to write another check, and just kind of felt that we were forgotten. However, they were apologetic about the situation, and our DJ was so wonderful that all is forgiven!

Rolando was amazing! Not only was he a great DJ, but he helped us through everything the day of the ceremony, talked to the kitchen so we didn't have to, helped coordinate people, and even showed us how to cut the cake! I could not have found a better DJ for our wedding! We originally contacted David because of his lighted tables and photo booth.. appealing to me that I was able to get so many services through one person! We not only used the lighted bar top tables, we also used his up lighting and monogram on the floor, really complete the look for our space. The photo booth/video booth was just awesome as well!
I loved the enthusiasm he has when it came to the music, the flow of the night and how he described the whole thing as a production! I felt like he just got what I wanted and executed it perfectly! We were fairly nontraditional.. no sit down dinner, passed appetizers.. I don't think we even had enough chairs for everyone who came! I wanted the dance floor full the whole time and David pulled it off! Music was the perfect blend of 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's and now. Even some Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Al Green and the Temptations. Ages 16 to 65 never left the floor all night. People still, a year later, while attending other weddings, rave about how much fun ours was and A LOT of that is owed to David and Van Rixel Productions!! My only complaint is, why didn't I use you for our ceremony!? I cannot thank you enough!

As a former Dance Team-er, MUSIC at my wedding was my #1 Priority, and my husbands too! I needed my guests and especially all of my dance friends to be hitting the floor all night long! My husband and I would like to thank David and Van Rixel Productions for helping us have the best wedding ceremony and reception we could ask for. We planned our wedding from across the country and David made it very easy to communicate with him and made sure we were on the same page even when it came to all of the small details. His team did an amazing job on every aspect of the day, from the up-lighting in the reception hall, the lighted tables in the cocktail room, the special touches on the photo booth printouts, being right on cue with every hand-picked song we chose for each special moment, making it possible to use a custom design for the wall projection, and even keeping us on schedule throughout the whole day. We received so many complements on every feature of the ceremony and reception that Van Rixel Productions helped with, and all of the hard work they put in really made our day extraordinary. Hans was THE BEST DJ EVER! I am a professional radio DJ , so the music at my wedding had to be good, had to reflect our personal style, and had to get the majority of 450 people dancing. Look no further. I selected David Van Rixel based off his reviews on this website and others and he completely knocked it out of the park. After our initial phone consultation I decided to book David himself for our wedding and he was so easy to work with and made the whole process flow very smoothly. He was very helpful in guiding us through the timeline and choosing music for the different stages of the night.

One of the main things we wanted was to ensure we had the dance floor full all night and David delivered big time. I still have friends and family telling us how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed David. David played all of our requests, even the last minute selections I had texted him.

David is a fantastic DJ that will keep the party going and is so easy to work with. So happy that we had David DJ our wedding!

A year ago I called around to five different area DJs and my conversation with David was so pleasant that his meeting was the only one I kept. I knew immediately he would do a great job. Through all of our interactions he was professional, relaxed, and an incredibly good and active listener. David is obviously very comfortable with DJing weddings and helped Molly and I piece together an evening that ran seamlessly. Molly and I were lucky enough to have David DJ our wedding and we told him that we wanted a busy dance floor all night- and he delivered! The night flew by and there wasn't a moment that the dance floor wasn't full. From the beginning of our planning to the wedding, David were there every step of the way. A lot of our friends said their own DJs didn't see them until their wedding day, but not David! He met with us twice before the wedding to make sure every one of our needs were met, as well as occasional email conversations. On the night of the wedding, he and his assistant helped to orchestrate everything beautifully (even doing things that he didn't have to do!), which really made us feel his passion for his business and people. If we have another event where a DJ would be needed, we wouldn't go to anyone else! So great at reading the crowd, playing outstanding music, and making us and our guests dance the night away! Wow where do I even start with this review?! David was the absolute best DJ and host for our wedding. I could not have dreamed of a better night and he played a huge part in that! From our first phone call, to our meeting a few weeks before the big day, to the reception itself, he was one top of his game 110% of the time! He was so confident and aware of what was going on. I did not have to worry about a thing. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease and he was always two steps ahead of me. Our guests are still raving about how perfect the music and transitions were all night! Everyone had a blast. Also, our reception was in a giant beer hall with terrible acoustics. Everyone was warning me about how bad the music would sound. When I mentioned this to David, he wasn’t afraid at all. He assured me that I wouldn’t even notice it and he was right! The music was at a perfect level all night long. It was just loud enough on the dance floor, but when I wasn’t dancing I never felt like I was yelling to talk to anyone. I cannot say enough great things! I would recommend this company over and over again.

We were extremely happy with Van Rixel Productions. David did an excellent job not only with amazing music, but with the overall flow and planning of our big day. David was very timely with e-mails with my many questions and gave great advice. On our actual wedding day, he greeted all of our guests, checked in with us throughout the evening, and really helped with 'herding' guests for where they needed to go. David and his staff (he had an assistant and person for our photo booth) were very professional and fun! Above all, David was great at reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor! Our guests said they have never danced so much at any other wedding! My now husband and I had our top 40 picks and 90s music we wanted but we also wanted to accommodate the extensive 80s music my parents wanted. David did a great job of balancing and playing great songs in all categories! I would highly recommend them to anyone, in fact one of my guests are now using them for their own wedding! David (Van Rixel) was awesome to work with! He made our wedding planning easier and our big day spectacular. David is very professional and has not only great DJ skills, he's also a fantastic emcee. He helped move our wedding day along smoothly and was very organized. Van Rixel Productions is capable of awesome uplighting too! We had 24 uplights around the room that David was able to match to the shade of blue we were looking for, as well as a "bliss light" which made a starry night like projection onto the ceiling that made our venue (The Chandelier Ballroom) look even dreamier than it already does. David also customized a gobo with our names and a snowflake image we provided him with. Also, the Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests, and his staff was great too! David was a big part of making our wedding perfect! He did our ceremony music as well as our reception music. We've requested video game music for the prelude music which was recognized and loved by many of our guests. He also did a great job timing the music to our entrances and the timing the music to capture the best parts of the songs while we walked down the aisle. Once we got to the reception, David was great about keeping track of the time and getting everyone ready for the grand march, speeches, and dances. He also was great about keep track of our kissing game alternative to the glass clinking. He kept everyone dances and when our robot ring bearer made his entrance for a dance, he quickly found perfectly appropriate music for it! We received numerous compliments from our guest about David. They loved how responsive to requests he was and how friendly he was to approach. They also loved the music level during dinner which allowed everyone to socialize.

Van Rixel Productions was one of our favorite vendors for our wedding. During our initial meeting with David, he explained the difference between Van Rixel DJ's and other DJ's. We really liked the attention to detail and level of involvement Van Rixel Productions provided. When we met with our DJ, Rolando, I knew we had made the right decision. He was extremely professional, paid very close attention to details of our wedding and offered suggestions on how to make our day perfect. During our wedding, he was AMAZING! Not only was he an amazing DJ, but he provided a level of service that helped make our day run smoothly. He greeted us at the door with water (the first I had all day) and helped work out our timeline with our venue contact. He kept everything running so smoothly and really went above and beyond any duties I would have expected from a DJ. Plus, after all of the wedding business was taken care of (cake cutting, dances etc) the music he played was awesome and I have never seen so many guests at a wedding on the dance floor. This was one of the best decisions we made and helped relieve my stress because I knew Rolando had everything handled.

We also used Van Rixel Productions to record our ceremony. This was a last minute addition because our grandparents were unable to make our wedding. David was able to add this last minute and the quality of the recording is fantastic!

Words cannot fully express how happy my husband and I were with Van Rixel Productions. We ended up switching DJ's and going with Van Rixel Productions somewhat late in the game and it was by far the best decision that we made. We were impressed with Van Rixel Productions right from the start. The reviews on the Knot and Wedding Wire caught our eye first, and we absolutely know why. All of the pre-wedding planning was flawless, and the option to add songs and craft your music visions on a database assigned specifically for your wedding is incredible. We loved that we could preview songs on there and we loved the suggestion lists. Meeting with David before the wedding was fantastic. We walked out feeling like we could leave the wedding in David's hands and he would work his magic. You could tell that DJ'ing is his passion and he is excellent at his craft.

I have had several people tell me that the DJ at the wedding was absolutely incredible. He got everyone on the floor right away and the floor was packed all night long. He played the perfect songs, making sure to play the songs that we wanted but also using his knowledge to pick excellent songs for the crowd. He created a party, made everyone feel safe and comfortable on the dance floor, and this is why our venue said that he was the best DJ that they've seen.

I can't stress to you enough how amazing Van Rixel Productions is. It is the best decision that you'll make when wedding planning!

David was the perfect balance between professional and fun. He made our day stress free by keeping track of the time and gathering everyone he needed for each event (garter toss, bouquet toss, dances, etc.) Sammy was running our photo booth, and he was such a cool guy. Loved everything about them!

Van Rixel Productions was absolutely incredible. They listened to all of our ideas and complimented them with helpful suggestions. They were also extremely detail orientated. David did an excellent job at the wedding- his music choice was impeccable and had everyone up and dancing. David Van Rixel...he was one of the best decisions we made for our awesome wedding. We still have people coming up to us and saying how great the wedding and entertainment was. His services are the highest quality but it goes beyond that- he knows how to make it all work and he knows what works. David will not push you into anything but listen to his suggestions because he is listening to your desires of having an unforgettable night. Give him the flexibility to make that happen.

We used him for both the ceremony as well as the reception music and his lighting (the lighted bar tables were an excellent touch as the night grew darker). He is reasonable in his costs but his quality of service and equipment is hard to match.

David VanRixel personally attended our reception and ran the photobooth and provided uplighting for us. He went above and beyond to make sure our day went perfect. After shopping around we thought that Van Rixel Productions offereded the best value for the product offered and he upgraded us again the day of. I could not be happier with the service. The videos are hilarious and the pictures are great. Thank you for completing our special day!

Van Rixel Productions did an amazing job. We were lucky enough to have David Van Rixel himself DJ our wedding and he was magnificent, couldn't have asked for more. He kept everything running smoothly and on schedule. He even got on the dace floor and taught people the steps to the group dances. There were many compliments at our wedding from guests about the karaoke at the rehearsal dinner, the lighting at the venue and the music as a whole. Very attentive to our needs and those of our guests, open to suggested songs from the bride & groom for sure and the prep for the big day was very thorough in terms of an agenda for the reception.

I am so happy we hired Van Rixel Productions for our wedding day. DJ Hans played the music for our outdoor ceremony as well as our indoor reception. He was professional and in control, letting us relax and soak in the day without having to worry. I would highly recommend Van Rixel Productions to any couple.

The DJ service provided by Van Rixel Productions was outstanding. Music was supplied for the outdoor ceremony as well as the indoor reception. The day was care-free and fantastic. The DJ ran the evening and was always pro-active. The dance floor was packed all night, great job!

David was fantastic!! We are so happy with the ambiance he created for our reception. He was easy to work with while we planned out the details and very flexible with the different ideas we had. We planned our wedding from out of state and were very glad that David was so easy to get in contact with by phone and e-mail. The lighting he provided really pulled everything together and the music was loved by everyone! We highly recommend David as a DJ.

David was AMAZING! He went the extra mile to make sure that everything was organized, and stress free. He perfectly balanced the music, and made sure our photographer was around before announcing important events such as cake cutting, first dance, etc. We couldn't be more happy with our experience with David. Where to start?! David was an amazing DJ/coordinator for our wedding! We have had countless compliments on our ceremony music and dancing music! David was great! He mc'd the whole night, and we had music from cocktail hour right up until the end. He was a great DJ and entertainer.
The price seemed a little high at first, but I would not choose anyone else!

This company is AMAZING. I have been to a lot of weddings and I'm glad I chose them for my own. DJ was completely professional and extremely helpful throughout the ENTIRE process and at all times throughout the night (we had open bar so you might get my drift on what I mean by the entire night and challenges faced...) The lighting they also set up was perfect and really brought everything together. They also did all the set up and clean up themselves and let the place in better shape than when they came. Very happy!

I had a wonderful experience with VanRixel. They were highly professional, friendly, prompt, and offered individualized services to fit what we wanted. I opted for uplighting service, but was scared the color wouldn't be just right, but holy cow they offer tons of high-tech colors to match your theme! They offer as few or as many sit down meetings as you need to talk about your particular tastes in music, they were patient with me being both picky and vague about my song choices. I felt like they worked hard to get to know our personal styles in order to best show our guests a great time with a touch of 'us' in the music. They even were able to take a song and slow it to make it fit our first dance timing! These guys know what they are doing.

We had David DJ our wedding and he was great! He was flexible for the pre-wedding meetings and followed everything we discussed. Everyone was dancing because he was playing great dance music. Will definitely be recommending him to everyone I know!

We had David Van Rixel for our reception and he was so wonderful! If he is any indication of the other DJ's in this company, I'd say they are all great! David was very responsive by phone and email throughout our planning process. He met with us a few times and always did exactly what we wanted. When we didn't know what we wanted, he had many suggestions or ideas for us, even some that were better than our own ideas! Our grand march song was "Thrift Shop" and everyone in our party was wearing clothes from GoodWill or anything vintage they could find, so David provided us with some awesome jackets and furs. We received so many compliments on how much fun our reception was and my husband and I also kept saying that to each other... David was so great! One last thing, we provided a lot of song that we wanted played, but also gave David the discretion to read the crowd and create his own mix. And he did exactly that. I'm so glad he did not use our entire list b/c the mix of the 2 were wonderful! Van Rixel productions is very experienced and well worth every penny!

I just used Van Rixel Productions for the uplighting at my wedding in August, and I couldn't have been more pleased! The lighting was absolutely amazing, and it set the perfect tone for the night. Van Rixel Productions helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect. The uplighting was gorgeous and we received many compliments on how it set the tone for the evening and complemented the reception decor. We LOVED our DJ! Alec was amazing! He normally works at a dance studio and he offered to teach swing dancelessons at our wedding! ALL of our guests had a blast and were ALL on the dance floor most of the night (which is what we really wanted). We desired to have a unique wedding, and Alec helped make our dream a reality! Alec played MC/Host, and made each and every one of our guests, ages 10-94, feel welcomed. He also did lights for our wedding. The owner, David, replied to my phone calls and texts quickly and was easy to work with. The price was reasonable and well worth every penny! THANK YOU!!

My Groom and I wanted to throw a party and that's exactly what we had! We had Hans from Van Rixel Productions and he was amazing. When we met, he listened and gave us exactly what we wanted. There was no pressure to do the traditional wedding things or songs. We did it our way and loved every minute of our reception!
