Valorie was everything that we could have ever asked for in a wedding photographer and more! The photos she took throughout our wedding weekend are ones we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Not only is she incredibly talented and professional - but she is a true joy to be around. She makes you feel so amazing and at ease throughout the entire process! She’s a wonderful person and feel honored to have had her as part of this momentous time in our lives! -

Valorie Darling is a 10 out of 10 on every scale. I can’t express how much she helped me throughout my planning process and wedding weekend both- even after! She is thoughtful, kind, and so extremely talented. She made a point to make sure I was always happy and comfortable, as well was my family and friends. Everyone raved how amazing she was all weekend long and even more when the pictures came out. Her photos are timeless but also unique. I can’t recommend her enough. I wish I could get married again just to go through the experience with her one more time! -

Where do we begin?! We hired Valorie (and Max) as our wedding photographers and it was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. Not only did Valorie provide exceptional photography but the energy, professionalism, creativity and passion she brought to our wedding weekend was something my husband and I and our family and friends noticed and greatly appreciated. She made us feel comfortable and confident and made the experience so much fun for us. We will continue to cherish our wedding photos and have been lucky enough to have Valorie capture some family photos of us with our new daughter and look forward to working with her to help us document beautiful moments in our lives for years to come. She made such an impression on everyone at our wedding that my husbands sister hired her for her wedding in July this year. As if being a talented photographer wasn’t enough, her kindness and thoughtfulness is what stands out the most. We have found a wonderful friend in the process and are so grateful. Vanessa with the Darling Collective was not only the best photographer I could have ever dreamed of for our wedding but she felt like a friend! All of our guest even raved about her! She has amazing energy and made us feel so comfortable. She captured every moment of our wedding beautifully and beyond exceeded my expectations! Valarie was extremely professional and on top of every detail prior to the wedding making sure her team didn’t skip a beat! The entire process with the Darling Collective was just incredible! They really go above beyond down to every detail! During the process they sent us the sweetest package with fun little gifts like a wedding survival kit that really came in handy during our wedding day! Even the usb drive they give you with your photos on it is adorable! These girls are a dream to work with! Hire them! You won’t regret it!! -

Valorie is the BEST Wedding Photographer!
Valorie and the Darling Team are phenomenal. Val goes above and beyond to make you feel special, all while capturing gorgeous moments of your big day. We had a large wedding party and a big wedding, and Val was able to navigate the group with ease and get every shot. The photos are everything I wanted and more. I can't wait for an opportunity to work with Val again. -

Melissa Sent on 09/23/2018The first vendor I persued was a photographer, my number one priority! We were getting married in Maui and we’re grossly underwhelmed by the on-island options. I reached out to a friend, a professional MUA in the LA area and asked if she had worked with anyone she could recommend. Long story short, it was love at first phone call. Her portfolio is amazing as any of you can see but it was the phone call she initiated that really got us. Her energy, her perspective, her strategy, her ability to truly grasp what we wanted, she was perfect.
Now, Valorie Darling does not do all her own photography. She often outsources shoots but does all the editing herself! With that said, our onsite photographer was Rihanna Mercier. Before we signed with VD we asked to have a similar call with Rihanna to be sure we felt the same way and she was EVEN BETTER! I can tell you a million things that she did that was WELL above and beyond. As a person, she is simply amazing. I can’t imagine anyone not getting along with her. She was able to read a room to decide who needed space and who didn’t. She carried on excellent conversations with everyone from my mother in law to my infinite niece. She is extremely energetic and does a great job keeping the energy up to create amazing photographic moments. Most importantly, she was there when I needed her and completely invisible in all the intimate moments. A true professional and an amazing human being! You will NOT be disappointed and as far as value, my experience with Rihanna and my end product from Valirie Darling were well worth the cost. 6/5 for value. -

Valorie Darling Photography was an absolute dream! Words literally cannot express how grateful I am to Valorie and Vanessa for the photography they produced on my wedding day. After years of working in fashion and marketing, I have high standards when it comes to photography and aesthetics. Valorie’s aesthetic is everything wedding photos should be - romantic, timeless, and illustrative.
I opted for the Darling Collective package, and in planning a destination wedding, we met our photographers on the day of the wedding. Valorie’s comprehensive questionnaire and introduction process is the best I’ve seen; she was able to understand our desires, personality, and vision quickly and thoroughly and paired us with the perfect photographer for our wedding day. Valorie’s questions addressed every little thing which helped me in the planning process - addressing items and articulating my vision in a way that me and my fabulous wedding planner had not.
Vanessa and Katrina were our wedding day photographers. Their bright, kind, and positive personalities could not have been a better compliment to the intimate moments of the day. They knew exactly when to produce / direct and when to observe / capture. Everyone in my wedding party was completely charmed by them. I have chills writing this because they are just that genuine and beautiful of people. I’m so grateful because I know how surprisingly impactful a photographer’s personalty can be to a couple’s wedding day experience, and Vanessa and Katrina we’re A++++. I’ll love them forever.
Valorie’s edits were stunning, brining a soft, airy, romantic feel to each scene captured. The team delivered a sneak peak of photos within days of the wedding and the entire collection came shortly after, on her easy-to-navigate photo-sharing platform. Valorie also delivered a beautiful external drive with all the photos, accompanied by a lovely and thoughtful box of goodies. Valorie Darling Photography is stellar, white-glove service delivered in the most personable, genuine manner. Valorie, I am forever grateful to you and your team for the most memorable experience and the most stunning photos to capture a momentous day of our lives. -
