C+M Mural Room Wedding
Valerie’s harp performance really made our wedding day amazing and special. Many of our guests stated how much they loved her beautiful music. We chose two Ghibli songs and were so happy with Valerie’s renditions, they sounded more amazing than any of the recordings we’d heard. Communicating and coordinating with her was seamless; you can definitely trust her with your wedding day vision. Even though we didn’t meet face to face until the day of, we truly felt her warmth and care on the day of our wedding. We highly recommend her to anyone getting married in Santa Barbara! -

We had Valerie perform the harp at our wedding ceremony and she was amazing! She had great communication with us as we booked her a year in advance and everything went smoothly on day of the wedding. She has many songs in her repertoire and she plays the songs so beautifully! Having her perform for our ceremony was truly the cherry on top. I highly recommend Valerie! 10/10! -

Wonderful Harpist!
We discovered Valerie as she was playing at another wedding at the same venue. We are so grateful she had availability for our date. Her music really made the ceremony so magical! Hearing my processional song on the beautiful harp made me emotional. Valerie was very easy to work with and would recommend her to any couple looking to elevate their wedding. I was looking for a musician to add a romantic touch to our elopement. I came across Valerie on google and other wedding vendor websites. I reached out to her a week before the wedding date. She immediately responded graciously and said she was available for our dates. Her pricing was also affordable for all the work she was putting in. She created a playlist for us and let us choose which songs we wanted to walk down the aisle and close with. She also learned one of my favorite songs within that week and was kind enough to play it, which was so touching! Most musicians do not do this. She showed up on time and stayed until all guest left. I could not have asked for a better experience. All of our guest were wowed!!!!! We will be recommending her work to everyone we know. Thank you again Valerie! -

She even created a custom arrangement of our favorite song to play as we recessed down the aisle.

Valerie played music for our wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse Mural Room a couple of weeks ago. All of the music she played was so beautiful and she truly made our ceremony extra special! This review is way overdue. We had a very low-key wedding in February in Santa Barbara, married with only our close family in the Rose Garden of the Old Mission. We wanted a classic and elegant touch, and Valerie was so wonderful. She drove out and set up in a grassy area in the garden, and played our pre and post wedding music for the ceremony itself, as well as throughout our picnic and cocktail gathering. Despite tough weather and the wind literally trying to blow over the harp, Valerie remained calm and continued playing the most delightful music. One of our favorite memories of the day. Thank you again for making our day so special! Would highly recommend for any future events. -

SO MUCH YES! Valerie's music and presence was such a welcome addition that really made our ceremony so unique. She was so lovely to work with, thorough, timely and organized. Music is not our specialty but working with Valerie was so easy and she made wonderful music recommendations. We got so many compliments on having a harpist as it is kind of a lost art nowadays. Valerie was wonderful!! Prior to the wedding, Valerie responded to my emails and questions very quickly and professionally. She had ideas for timing and a large inventory of songs. All of the guests at the wedding said how beautiful listening to the harp was. It was so special to have her play while I walked down the aisle! Valerie played for our wedding ceremony in the Mural Room of the Santa Barbara Courthouse and she sounded amazing! Her harp sounded even more lovely with the acoustics of the room. She was incredibly easy to work with - we had special requests for our songs that she had no problem learning for us and when we had a last minute change in the processional she adjusted professionally and with ease. Can't recommend enough! -

Beyond Beautiful
I always dreamed of having a harpist at my wedding. We had a micro covid wedding in a short timeframe and Valerie was responsive, understanding and extremely talented. She even knew how to play “Stairway to Heaven”.

I planned my wedding from out of state, so most of my communications with Valerie were over e-mail. She was very responsive and had good suggestions, which made planning a breeze. I was delighted that everything went as expected -- she was at the ceremony venue on time and played beautiful prelude, ceremony and post-ceremony music. The volume was lovely -- soft, but still filled the space (Mural Room at the Santa Barbara Courthouse) with romantic atmosphere. Truly a treat for our guests -- I highly recommend! Great value too -

Hiring Valerie to play at our wedding ceremony was one of the best decisions we made on our wedding day. She is a wonderful harpist and her music is elegant and magical. We had an outside ceremony and Valerie was at the front of our venue playing under a tree surrounded by white flower petals. She immediately drew everyone into her performance and our guests truly enjoyed listening to her. I could hear applause as I waited behind the scenes for our ceremony to begin. Her list of song choices is a perfect mix of classical, traditional and contemporary. She played the traditional songs we had chosen until after the ceremony when we walked back down the aisle to Bruno Mars, Marry You. So fun! Valerie is easy to work with and after our ceremony she gave us both a big hug, she felt like a member of our family. She was the perfect choice for our Wedding Day! -
