Photo Booth for Wedding

My partner and I wanted a casual, fun indoor summer wedding so we decided to book a photo booth. Scheduling with Utah Jive online was so easy, and they communicated with me in the weeks before the event, day before, and day of- it was all through email, so I could quickly respond or see what their message was. I never had to worry about the photo booth showing or not showing (unlike the catering where I scheduled the event and never heard from them so I had to call and confirm the day of!), and I could always check my booking through Utah Jive's website.

Once the photo booth arrived, they were very professional and fun. We had a few kids that were loving the photo booth and went in multiple times by themselves and the attendant was alway sweet and helpful with the kids. Feedback from the adults was that they loved it. It was so fun for them to take home photo strips, and the attendant made a photo album for us with all of the photos that were taken that night.

I would highly recommend this service for any event and I would absolutely work with them again in the future.

Perfect match for our vibe

We really enjoyed our experience with Utah Jive. They were very quick to respond leading up to the event and DJ Michael did a great job of creating the ambiance we were hoping for. We were so pleased with our experience!

Highly recommend Utah Jive!

We had the best experience with Utah Jive at our wedding! We hired both a DJ and photobooth for the event. The photobooth was a big hit with our guests, much more than we anticipated! I HIGHLY recommend adding Utah Jive photobooth to your event! And, the photobooth attendant brought excitement and energy to our wedding, ensuring everyone at her booth was having a good time. Our DJ was fun and responsive to everything we asked for and was crucial in keeping the flow of our wedding on schedule. Utah Jive is professional, responsive, and super fun.

Excellent service

We went with the Lux booth and are so glad we did! It was just what we were looking for. The Photo Booth was the highlight of the party! The company was super easy to work with and very responsive. The quality of the photos turned out great and the booth attendants were very helpful and friendly!

Company Christmas party

We used Jive for our Company Christmas party and they were , by far, the easiest vendor I worked with! Response was always within 24 hrs, , clear contract, easily adjusted (even last minute) , flexible and fun! We had Chloe & Chris for photobooth and DJ, both were so amazing the venue manager asked for their info at the end of the night!!! will absolutely use them again!

Best DJ and Photo booth in Utah

The DJ, Chris, was so nice and patient with us as our timeline was way off from what we had discussed; he just went with it and didn’t make us feel stressed about it. He was relaxed and did what we asked him to do on a whim. He was flexible and did an excellent job! My daughter, the bride, was carefree and enjoyed being able to do things when she was ready to do them and not on a timeline. The photo booth technician, DeAnna, was very friendly and patient with all the kids that wanted to keep taking pictures over and over again. She managed them very nicely and communicated with me about what I wanted. All of the guest had a great time taking pictures for the guest book! We have some fantastic memories!

This company is so amazing and reliable and handle all things with class. I looked at a lot of DJ companies and this one was superior in every area and they did not disappoint my high expectations!!!

Amazing! This was the perfect addition to our event and they made it so stress free!!!

Newly-weds here! I cannot express enough how great it was working with Utah Jive! Planning a wedding is stressful enough and I was worried getting a photo booth for our event would be the same. That was not the case at all! From start to finish we felt like we were the most important costumer to them. No question was to silly and they gladly helped a worried bride with her endless questions and need for clarification on everything! They helped us find the right thing for our event and the perfect design for the photo strip! And the day of they took care of everything! We never had to worry about how things were going. We showed them were to set up and the attendant took care of everything else! The guests loved it and we love our sign in book with pictures and notes from those that attended throughout the evening! They even made sure that we (bride and groom) had our chance in the booth during our busy night!

We hired Utah Jive for our Prom this year. I had known nothing about the company prior to this. While we were deciding who to book for out DJ, I asked Utah Jive for quotes as well as other school that they had played for. They were very helpful and got that information back very quickly. The booking process was extremely easy, and the staff is always so quick to help. In addition to booking a DJ, we also rented a photo booth. On the day of the event, both DJ and Photo booth exceeded all of our expectations. We couldn't have picked a better company.

So much added value to our event!

I have used Utah Jive now 3 different times, once for my wedding and twice for corporate events and they have yet to disappoint! JD was a great DJ to work with, showed up on time with an awesome attitude and even when things didn't go as expected on my end he was able to go with the flow and get the party started! Emily was our photo booth attendant and she was an absolute pleasure. Would definitely recommend!

Great Photo booth!!!

We used Utah Jive for our photo booth, and we’re so happy we did! They called beforehand to make sure all of our questions were answered. We also asked them to set up during our dinner and speeches, and they were so quiet setting up they didn’t disrupt any of it! Our guests loved it and we even had a copy of all of the photo strips from our guests, which was so fun to see later. Would highly recommend Utah Jive!

We booked pretty far in advance for the DJ and Photo booth. They kept in touch through the whole time. Asked a series of questions to make sure it was what we wanted. We even got to create our own photo booth strip design. DJ called in advance and we spoke in even more detail. So grateful for all his hard work. I think he organized the day even more then my wedding coordinator!! Photo booth brought interactive props that all enjoyed and gave us a CD with all the photos from the day!! 10/10 recommend this company. Please make sure to cover your DJ area though, we didn't and it effected the equipment because of overheating. So sorry about that!!

Utah Jive was wonderful to work with. I had contact a few other places and was getting discouraged because their pricing high. Utah Jive was within our budget and very easy to work with. They responded quickly to every email I sent and the forms that I had to fill out were very self explanatory. Craig was an amazing DJ and was very easy to work with. My stepson had played a piece on the piano that we wanted incorporated into the ceremony. Craig was able to do this at the last minute. Everything was just as it was planned out to be. I highly recommend Utah Jive (and Craig if you can "reserve" him) for your wedding!! I don't think there will be an ounce of disappointment! :)

Absolutely amazing experience! We hired Utah Jive to provide a photobooth for a corporate event and we couldn't have been happier. The staff was phenomenal and the booth itself was fantastic. We had a smaller event for about 60 people ranging from 20's into their 70's. We were very pleased with the flexibility, professionalism and the ability to anticipate needs as the night went on. Our company is extremely happy with Utah Jive DJ services from start to finish. We also had the photo booth option which was a big hit!!!
We are looking forward to working with Utah Jive for our event next year!

This event was an elementary school graduation and we had the photo booth rental. Utah Jive made it so simple and the kids LOVED it! They were also willing to work with our budget which meant a lot!

The music and lights were awesome!! Marko announced the events of the night, so the reception ran smoothly!! They both arrived early to set up, and dressed professionally. I couldn't have been happier with their service!! I am SO GRATEFUL!!! I only have one daughter, and hoped this night would be exactly what she hoped for. Keith was our DJ. I can NOT being to tell you how fun and perfect our reception was!!! He understood the crowd and played perfect songs! It was so much fun and everyone kept telling me how awesome our DJ was.
During the planning process, I emailed Keith tons of questions and requests and he responded to all of them. He even made time to meet my husband and I hours before he was about to leave on a trip because I requested to meet him in person before the wedding. Could not be happier with our DJ. He was honestly the best part of the reception.

LOVED Utah Jive! They did both DJ and photo booth for my daughter's Surprise Sweet 16 Party. They were on time and ready to go, very friendly, very professional and made my daughter's day so much fun.
For a birthday party, I could have spent less, but I figured this was one special day that we will never do again.
If my daughter, who has Down syndrome, does get married one day, we will definitely invite Utah Jive back. I have highly recommended them to my son and his fiancée, but I am not in charge of that ;-)

Both the DJ and Photo booth attendant were very professional. They were there on time and had everything ready when guests started arriving. It was nice to not worry about that part of the reception, it went smoothly and made it more enjoyable for our guest.

We had them set up a large photo booth for our family reunion, and it was a great success. We will have them at our next reunion, March, 2016. JNet came out to run the booth and did an outstanding job and was so much fun to have there, we are requesting she helps us again.

This was the second time I've worked with Utah Jive for their photo booth services. They are fun, friendly, and extremely flexible when it comes to arranging your event. As the Kidney Foundation our annual Family Camp is our most important patient service's event. Each year the family who attend look forward to the Karaoke. Craig Hartman was outstanding....involving both young and old making everyone feel comfortable. If Craig is the standard for Utah Jive karaoke DJ's every event should use Utah Jive for their events. Utah Jive is an amazing Dj service company! They were really professional and really connected with our Dj. He made our reception special!!Our guest had so much fun dancing and putting in song request. He did an amazing job with announcing and gave a vibrant feel to the event. He was very kind and made sure everything was taken care of! I had so many guest tell us they had a great night and thee funest reception they have been to! Thank you so much for working with us and our budget and giving us an amazing night we will never forget!!

I was extremely pleased with our DJ. We were really slow in responding to all your requests for instructions on song choices and schedules, you were very patient and diligent in getting our preferences. The day of the reception unexpected events caused us to change the schedule at the last minute and our DJ was extremely adaptable and continued on quite well! He was on time(early!) and didn't pressure us to finish right on time. He was entertaining without being overbearing.

We had Utah Jive provide the DJ entertainment for our Wedding on April 16, 2011, which we held at Le Jardin, in Sandy, Utah for apx 100+ guests.

James Kissell was our coordinator and we met with him and our actual DJ, Seth and immediately they understood the party we were looking for. I felt that they would take care of everything from our initial meeting and I was 100% correct.

Seth ended up not only being our DJ and working directly with our Bride as to the music she wanted for the reception, but also as the music coordinator for the ceremony as well as our master of ceremonies for the whole evening. Seth took the night and made it so special, the Father/Daughter dance, the First Bride & Groom Dance, the bouquet toss, the garter toss etc. He even helped our Bishop with the additional cordless microphone that Utah Jive brought along for the ceremony.

Utah Jive also provided our photobooth which was another hit of the night. Christine was our Photobooth attendant and helped everyone with all the fun funny hats and accessories as well as helping people put their photo strips into our memory scrapbook...Each time someone took shots in the photobooth, she printed out 2 sets for them, one to post in the scrapbook and another to take home as a wedding favor and memory. She even posted our photobooth shots onto facebook for everyone and sent me a DVD of all the shots as well.

Utah Jive also set up a fabulous bubble machine for our Bride & Groom to run through when they made their get-away at the end of the night. I could not have begun to think about all the details that they took upon themselves including moving the night along to the dancing, the cake cutting timing, right to the perfect ending of the evening.

Our guests danced the night away and had the time of their lives. I felt the costs were more than competitive and for all the services we received, definately well worth it. If you have any doubts about your entertainment for your wedding or any event, do not hesitate to call Utah Jive, they will take exceptional care of you and help you with things you never even thought of...Utah Jive helped make our night unique and extrordinary, they were wonderful!!!

I loved the quality of the photobooth photos. I had heard that some companies had a shaky camera and if people moved too much it turned out blurry super easily. I didn't have a single blurry photo. I also loved the fact that everyone in the photo got a copy of the photo strip. It always starts an argument when you only get two and there are 5 people in the photo.
I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a photobooth at their event.

Great DJ Services

Had a great experience with DJ Keith through Utah Jive. He created a fun environment with our requests and read the room well to keep energy up. Just a great experience all around. Booking was easy and convenient. And the questionnaire also really helped us figure out exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend.

Great experience!

Our guests had so much fun with our photo booth! We used it as our guest book and it was a huge hit. Our booth attendant was so nice and showed up on time. We will definitely use Utah Jive in the future!

Utah Jive was so simple and amazing to work with! I loved that they assigned a Dj that best fit our style and made our wedding perfect! We used Utah Jive for a 50th bday party... it was SO much fun and everyone LOVED the photo booth. It took a minute for people to get over their self-consciousness, but everyone did, (even the ones that I wasn't certain would) and the laughter was amazing and contagious! Utah Jive gave us 2 sets of prints, so everyone got to take their photos home as favors and we had a set for the birthday girl. The woman who was working the photo booth was happy and professional. I will totally use Utah Jive again.

Utah Jive was fantastic for our wedding. They were very responsive leading up to it, professional during it, and affordable when it was all done. I did knock 1 star off because our scheduled DJ couldn't make it (sick I think) but they did immediately get a replacement DJ and he was awesome as well and it was a seamless transition. For all my future weddings I'll be using Utah Jive (just kidding about the future weddings - but they really were great).

We had a band for our actual reception, but used Utah Jive to book a DJ for our wedding after party and Craig made the process quick and simple. While we didn't have contact with the actual DJ before hand, we were able to fill out a few forms to give him an idea of what we were looking for and our wedding coordinators were able to make sure he was looped in. Our DJ, Marko, did a great job with introductions and we loved his lights. My only complaint is that Marko was somewhat picky over what songs he would and wouldn't play, including songs requested by my husband and I. There are a lot of songs played on the radio (top 40s), that he wouldn't play due to "bad language" or " inappropriate content". I totally understand there may be rules against certain types of music, but we weren't asking to hear anything that's not played (frequently on the radio and in most cases, he wouldn't even play the clean version (which is what we wanted in the first place). Other than that, everything went well with them and I recommend using Utah Jive to book a DJ.

They came and set up the photobooth nicely and quickly in the background. When time was up they tore down quickly and quietly. I didn't know when they showed up or when they left. The only thing is that I didn't like the glue they used for the photos. When I got my book they all fell out. Wish they had used the double sided tape that I had purchased for that specifically. A nice gesture to not use my stuff if not needed. Other than that they were a huge hit at our wedding. Everybody loved getting their picture taken and the attendant, I heard from guest, had a nice bubbly inviting attitude. They are way affordable than most other photobooth rentals with great quality work. Thanks for helping make an impact to my guest at my wedding.

Our DJ played really lame music I asked for a lot of country music per it being a western wedding and hardly any was even played. When my guests would request a song he made them buy it first and then after the ceremony when he was announcing our names at the beginning of the reception he called my husband Ben after we told him his name was Josh. I just would not recommend him.

Nik is a great DJ. The songs were amazing, we loved it. He was also very kind, flexible, and made sure we were happy. We were a little disappointed because many people starting leaving the party before the first dance, dancing, the cake cutting, etc. and I wish he had communicated more clear to the guests since he was also the MC. He also waited too long to do everything during the dinner program and he would also ask my dad many times when he should do everything instead of him taking the initiative to do it and keep going as he felt he should do (he already had the dinner program with him). When the waiters took a few chairs and tables out of the room for the dancing, I wiish he had mentioned something to the guests so they would not leave during that time when the dancing started. Almonst no one had the cake either. Other than that, it was good.

Our DJ assumed the role of MC which was fine however he took it upon himself to give speeches throughout the night. It felt insincere to have him doing this on my wedding night as I had never met him before other than to do the music. I wish he would have only taken role of DJ. That is what we hired him for and expected of him.

We got a photobooth from this company and I am very dissatisfied with how it all worked out, thank goodness I didn't do our DJ service through them! The first issue was that we created a design for the photo strip background and after confirming the design twice, it was not used and instead they just had a plain white background. While they did end up reprinting the strips with our background, they were AFTER the wedding and the plain ones had already been given out and used for our guest book. Which brings me to the next complaint, the attendant didn't tell people there was a photo guest book (which we paid extra to the company to do as it's a service they offer). We only got a few guests to do it and sign the book, but most of our guests weren't told about it. This is so upsetting as we paid extra to the book and there are only a few pictures, we hardly have anything in our guest book! The next issue is they advertise that 12 people (their "record" is 15) can fit into the booth- NO WAY is this possible. We could barely fit 5 adults in the booth which was also upsetting as we had a large amount of guests which is why I wanted a bigger booth. Overall, the money spent was not worth it and the service was lacking. I recommend going with a different company.

The DJ completely messed up our processional and recessional music. When the music started skipping during the processional, he walked right in front of the alter to fix the machine! He also missed cues for events and was a huge disappointment. The only thing he did right was play the music for dancing at the end of the reception. Also, the "event planner" kept sending us confirmations for a photo booth which we never ordered, and didn't seem to understand that we only wanted DJ services. I would never recommend Utah Jive for an event as important as a wedding.

I was VERY disappointed in this vendor. Craig was so difficult to work with. He was unresponsive and at times rude. I had to call multiple times, and finally when it was 4 days before my wedding and no one had called to confirm as they had said they would, I said this is rediculous. I was told that the lady had been "on vacation" but that these things take "only a minute" and was made to feel like I was making a big deal out of nothing. It was really irritating! And the entire photobooth experience was not nearly as nice as others I have seen. The people are so far away...the pictures were blurry and not at all like other vendors that clearly have a superior product. I was really disappointed in the quality of the pics and how far away the people looked. Also, when I received my "book" there were only a handful of pictures in the book...and so most people didn't sign the book. And for the money you should have at least thrown in a glue stick or two so that I could put all of the pics in after the fact. After seeing other vendors, Utah Jive really pales in comparison. It wasn't worth the money or the headache at all...
