We couldn't be more happy with our decision to hire Upbeats DJ's for our wedding celebration. Doug entertained every idea we had and made sure that our day was exactly as we wanted it to be. Our venue coordinator loved working with him and said he was one of the best she's worked with. His set up is "rad" and he did a great job keeping the guests engaged. We highly recommend Upbeats DJ's!!! -

Not your average wedding DJ
Upbeats Dj was easy to work, responsive and communicative, and gave us a beautiful wedding night to remember. Doug was great in setting things up, and working with DJ Jermaine for the event, we were very pleased with how he DJ’ed the music, and how he took the time to prepare to play Arabic music for our wedding we requested. He knew how to set a vibe, reset the floor, and keep the good times going. This wasn’t your cookie cutter DJ experience, and that made all the difference. -

Hiring Upbeats DJs LLC (Doug or Christian) was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! From start to finish, they were professional, energetic, and completely in tune with the vibe we wanted for the night.
Our guests had an amazing time, and many of them commented on how great the music was. Whether it was the cocktail hour, dinner music, or the full-blown dance party, everything flowed perfectly.

Amazing time!
Shaun absolutely killed it at our ceremony and reception. Even through a few technical difficulties he kept his cool and kept our party going late into the night! Will recommend through and through to anyone! -

Great experience with Upbeats DJ's! We had Doug and he took great care of us and helping plan our day! The meeting and planning process was smooth and while we did meet with another DJ company; Upbeats DJ's won us over with not just the history of their business but the personal touches they go out of their way to include. On our special day, everything was set up quick and audio was provided at our ceremony space since we had cicada background noise. Upbeats DJ's is really good about asking what kind of experience you want for you and your guests. Doug was energetic and positive throughout the whole process and on the day of brought the energy I think every good DJ needs to have to have a killer party! -

Doug from Upbeats did my daughter's wedding on 9/21/24. What a wonderful experience all around and Doug helped make that possible. Very organized, very personable and extremely thorough with the bride and groom to get their requests in line with all the wedding events. The sound was perfect and the reception music not too loud for conversation. The speakers and mics at the outdoor ceremony were perfect as well. Many thanks to Doug and Upbeats! -

Everything was perfect! The ceremony was great, DJ Doug set up the microphones perfectly and was positioned out of the way. When it came to the reception, everyone was dancing all night long!! The music was great and he listened to our requests, and had songs that everyone loved. Before the wedding we had two meetings and it was so easy to organise. -

Upbeats DJ, Doug, and his team were exceptional in every way possible from the moment we booked them, the weeks leading up into the wedding, and throughout wedding day. Doug was always quick to respond when we had questions and always made us feel like a priority. He was very professional, but also extremely personable. He made sure that we didn’t feel as if we just hired a DJ, but that we hired someone that was going to ensure our day went as smooth as possible, while providing a personal touch that made everyone feel welcome, excited, and part of the celebration. Doug was also very thorough throughout the whole planning process. He started reaching out to us a few months before the wedding to start planning our timeline of the evening and made sure that he knew exactly what we wanted. We even threw some curveballs at him right before the wedding and he quickly adjusted his plan and setup to accommodate our changes. Our venue even commented to us that Doug was the most prepared DJ they had ever had. He worked with each of our other vendors to make sure they were all on the same page for every part of the evening. All of this, and we still haven’t gotten to the music, lights and dancing. Our whole evening was filled with music that we loved and music that everyone knew. Our dance floor was completely full the whole evening and that’s all due to how Doug created his sets. He curated the perfect mix of slow songs, dance songs, singing songs, old music, and new music. The lighting system they use is also fantastic. It creates an amazing atmosphere without interfering with the photographer’s and videographer’s lenses. I can only give the highest recommendation and praises to Doug and his team and would recommend him to anyone without any hesitation. -

DJ was the hit of our wedding!
DJ was fantastic. From the booking through the last song everything was customized and planned perfectly for us. I high recommend the cloud dance and the games offered. The equipment was great to look at and sounded amazing. We even did a flash mob! -

We absolutely loved having DJ Doug providing music at our wedding ceremony and reception! Doug was very easy to work with and provided a great amount of flexibility for us as the date of our wedding changed several times due to the pandemic. Doug did a fantastic job providing music and tech for our outdoor wedding ceremony. He provided all the necessary equipment for our guests to hear the music we chose and every word of our wedding ceremony with the somewhat noisy background as our wedding was held on The Banks in downtown Cincinnati. Doug totally rocked our wedding reception! I was happy Doug solicited interest from us on the music we wanted to play but also had a fantastic playlist to keep our guests on the dance floor getting down to their favorite songs of yesterday and today! Doug is such a professional, and an all-around good guy. During our final venue walkthrough he used his expertise to provide recommendations on lighting that would make the space even more amazing on our special night! I highly recommend booking DJ Doug for your event, 10/10! -

The beginning on working with upbeats was a bit rocky, we had a pretty unique circumstance with the grooms family being unable to attend so we were planning on playing a recorded video sent by his family. When we asked Doug about it, he wasn't helpful in coordinating file type or size- he didn't seem to think it was even possible. As soon as we started talking with our events DJ- Dustin, everything flowed so much smoother, and if I could give him more than five stars I would. He was invaluable when helping plan the wedding, he even offered to help me finalize the centerpiece designs for our guest tables. At the event, he was wonderful at reading the room to know when to transition from upbeat music to slow music or line dances- and even joined in on the line dances to show everybody how they were done. When it was time for dinner, he ran up and insisted on holding my (the bride's) plate for me, and went to the bar on my behalf to get my drinks. He was also the first person to send me pictures after the wedding. Overall, Dustin was ABSOLUTELY my favorite vendor i hired, and highly reccomend him for future events -

Ragan Sent on 11/15/2016We booked Doug, the owner of Upbeats DJs, off recommendation from our wedding planner. Doug was one of my favorite parts of the whole wedding! He played every song we wanted to hear and no songs on our Do Not Play list which was extensive because I'm picky about music. Upbeats DJs showed up on time, in a professional tux, and everything went so smoothly - we really appreciated that! I would recommend this company to anyone. They were running a special at the time as well so we were able to get a good value.
