Music creates the vibe and is one of the MOST important things at any party….We are still on Cloud 9 as I write this. I cannot even begin to express how incredible DJ Caroline and Upbeat Occasions are. They sure do live up to their name! They nailed it! Start to finish. DJ Caroline absolutely went above and beyond to ensure that our day was totally perfect. There were many pre-meetings to determine the Bride and Groom’s vibe and a very fun and easy to use music portal for us to add our favorite songs (so important) and list out the flow of the day. DJ Caroline made it very clear that the entire day should be exactly what the Bride and Groom want. Throughout, she was fun, timely, and professional. On the big day, She maintained the flow of each event, announced all the key moments, and was a master of reading the room. When I say that the dance floor never stopped, I mean it. People were dancing and smiling all night and never left the dance floor. She kept the room, highly energized and happy. I truly can’t say enough, but a sincere thank you to Upbeat Occasions/DJ Caroline, and her assistant A’livija, for putting your heart and soul into our good time. You could see genuinely at each event, DJ Caroline was ALL IN and fully committed to creating the best time ever! She really cared about the Bride and Groom. People are still talking about our wedding. On top of everything I’ve just said, they were extremely reasonable price-wise and you will not regret making them a key role in your special day! Our day was absolutely wonderful!! When you have the perfect DJ it becomes the wedding everyone talks about. We still have guests talking about the amazing job Caroline and Upbeat Occasions did with our wedding!!
It was such a stress-free process working with Upbeat. We knew right away we picked the best in the 518/607/315 area code. Who knew it code be so easy to pick music and have everything and then some at your wedding. Upbeat even had us hooked up with the perfect photo booth that fit our wedding size.
From the start of the wedding ceremony our music we picked was arrangement perfectly and the way we wanted it. The wedding guest danced from the moment she started playing and never stop until three hours later with no breaks at all!! Caroline had everyone moving, shaking and twisting the night way!! Even the groom who doesn't danced was on the dance floor dancing.
Upbeat Occasions even booked our amazing to St. Lucia Sandals Grande. It was easy and took no time at all to have it booked and out of the way with no worries. From the airfare to the trip and the perfect resort. We did not have one issue traveling or checking in and out.
Thank you Upbeat and the amazing Caroline for the perfect wedding entertainment ever!! Thank you for the most fabulous honeymoon we could have ever asked for!!!

Caroline from the minute we met her we knew she would fit perfectly with our wedding. She is friendly, supportive, has amazing taste in music, and great with communication. Her website makes planning the entire night easy with separate places to enter songs for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. She is also thorough with her intake so that the night goes by without a hitch. She seamlessly blended music throughout the night that fit perfectly and never had the awkward down time between songs. If you’re looking for someone to absolutely pack your dance floor, she’s your girl! The entire night we were on the dance floor, along with nearly every guest! We cannot thank her enough for being part of our day and feel so lucky to have had such an awesome DJ! We would highly recommend her to anyone! -

Caroline was the absolute best from start to finish! It was easy to set up a "set" list of music we wanted to hear, but she also added her own spin and blended the music perfectly. We allowed her to take requests from our guests, and she even found some very obscure songs that my guests wanted, which really made the night special. It was easy to talk to her and explain the vibe of the event. It was also nice that she teamed up with someone who has photobooths, and they were excellent as well. Her setup was very unique and looked really great, not bulky at all, which was really great to see. You truly can't go wrong with Upbeat Occasions. -

Upbeat Occasions connected us with Jennifer, a bilingual dance instructor and DJ, who was the perfect fit for our wedding! The lights, emcee, and overall vibe were perfect to celebrate. Caroline did an amazing job setting an intimate and beautiful mood for our ceremony, and then single-handedly cranking things up to make our wedding reception the dance party of the century!!
She took the time to get to know us, and get a sense of what our family and friends were like. We had let her know that our crowd most likely weren’t going to spend much time on the dance floor, and we were surprised and absolutely thrilled to see that she immediately had every one of our guests up and dancing. And dancing all night!

I recently just had my wedding on 11/2/24 and I can't say enough good things about Caroline and Upbeat Occasions! If you are starting your wedding planning journey and you are looking for a DJ who truly cares about what they do, you are looking in the right place. If I could Caroline a 30/5 stars I would. Caroline was patient with my husband and I as we have an emotional tie to music and it took us a bit to figure out what we wanted. She ultimately checked in and guided us through this process. Caroline played music que'd at exactly the right time and mixed wonderfully. My wedding attendants all raved at what range she was able to play to keep everyone engaged. But not only did she do a stellar job DJing... she was an exceptional MC. She kept the day moving and checked in with us every step of the way and for two people (my husband and I) who are always making decisions on the fly, she was dream to work with. Caroline from Upbeat Occasions is AMAZING! She was so great to work with. Very easy going, very responsive, detail oriented and fun!! We truly feel a DJ can make or break an event and Caroline delivered and provided everyone with an amazing time! Our taste in music is all over the board and she nailed it, and she was also great at reading the crowed. Very reasonable in price. Even though we didn’t choose to utilize it, you can also utilize other services like a photo booth which has been a popular attraction lately at weddings. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. She was able to provide equipment for both situations flawlessly. I will recommend Caroline and Upbeat Occasions to anyone and everyone looking for a DJ. We are so happy with our choice for our big day! Thank you for making it special! -

My heart was set on a band but budget only for DJ but Caroline blew us away. She avoid the “wedding music” genre totally and was banger after banger that my 90s babies crowd loved. We didn’t have a planner/coordinator and our venue a bit hands off and Caroline also acted as coordinator making sure reception stayed on schedule and everything went smoothly. She really did it all - we got married on a mountain lookout and even *somehow* got all the audio up there for the ceremony. A 12/10 experience can’t recommend her enough ! -

Caroline was so easy to work with and has a great online system for requesting songs and providing information so she can get to know you as a couple. She played all the music we were hoping for during cocktail hour, dinner and dancing and had a lot of guests complimenting the music selection. She let my nephew help test the mics before the ceremony which he loved doing. Her package prices are very reasonable and even gave us a discount for working in education. Where to begin with Upbeat Occasions? I apologize in advance for the lengthy review, but please understand there are so many great things to say!
HOW WE MET
My matron of honor and I first met DJ Caroline at a wedding show. After our ears had been yacked off by numerous other DJs, we didn't meet anyone who passed the vibe check until we met her. Instantly, her personality hooked us. She is so easy to get along with and explained how everything would go. DJ Caroline has such a warm, friendly and fun personality, I was a bit nervous to hear the cost for services. Much to my delight, not only were her DJ services reasonably priced, but Upbeat Occasions also offered a photobooth at a fair price! I was hooked. Fast forward a few months, and my other half went with me to meet her at a different wedding show. Without hesitation, he said yes, we definitely should hire her.
CHANGING THE DATE
We hired Upbeat Occasions prior to COVID, and had no idea the magnitude of rocky roads that were ahead. All throughout the following year (2021), there were so many ups, downs and uncertainties about whether we could even have a wedding ... much less dance! DJ Caroline stayed in contact with us through everything. We were on edge until just a couple months before our wedding. Ultimately, we had to push back our original date (May 29, 2021) for the wedding celebration until Feb. 5, 2022. Not only was DJ Caroline accommodating, she was also compassionate and we had no issues transitioning to the new date.
SERVICES
We hired Upbeat Occasions for 6 hours, to provide music/entertainment during our ceremony and reception. Caroline, along with her assistant, Joey, were the DJs for the evening. We were given access to an online music planning program prior to our wedding on which we could choose songs and help plan the order of events. Also included in the package we chose was a custom monogram that was displayed on the wall behind our head table. Krest (of Mr. D. Photobooth) & his assistant, Rex, brought many props and were running the photobooth and printing the photos. We were able to choose the background and layout of the prints. After the wedding, we received a digital copy of all photos taken.
THE DAY OF
All of the Upbeat staff members we hired arrived on time. DJ Caroline came up to visit me in the room before it was time for the ceremony. From start to finish, the experience we had with Upbeat Occasions was fabulous! DJ Caroline brought the excitement to our introductions and kept our guests dancing all night. We didn't pick too many songs that were "must plays" at our wedding, but we didn't need to. DJ Caroline caught our vibe and made some really awesome song selections. The music transitioned beautifully and the energy brought by all four of them was infectious. We played a centerpiece game that all of our guests enjoyed. DJ Joey was on the dancefloor getting down with us many times through the night. Over at the photobooth, Krest and Rex had our guests in stitches with laughter and silliness. They were fun to be around and the picture quality of the prints was excellent. The props were mixed with silly slogans, hats, glasses and boas. At the end of the night, our guests were sad that the party had to stop ... time really flew by and everyone had a blast.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I highly recommend Upbeat Occasions to all future brides ... in fact, I have already done so. Take a chance and contact DJ Caroline and you'll see she definitely passes the vibe check. They all made us feel special, and truly cared about our satisfaction. We are so glad we made the right choice for our wedding. Thank you so much, Upbeat Occasions!

My now husband and I hired Caroline and her team after getting a great recommendation from friends. We are so happy we listened to them, Caroline went above and beyond. We had so many requests and she fulfilled everyone. My husband even asked her to create a mashup of 4 different songs to make as his entrance song, she did this without problem. Not only is she a great DJ but she did an awesome job of keeping our guests entertained not only in cocktail hour but throughout the night. I would recommend DJ Caroline and her team to everyone I know if I could. Truth be told, I was not on board with having a DJ at our wedding because I know that music can make or break a party and I was not keen on giving the reigns to someone else in that regard. My husband was insistent and I eventually caved. Now that all is said and done, I honestly can't imagine our day without Caroline.
We had a wedding Memorial Day weekend at Dunham's Bay Resort after cancelling our original August 2020 date. We felt like we connected with Caroline from the first consultation and were grateful for her being so flexible and supportive throughout the COVID wedding stress and the reschedule. I had strong opinions about music in every aspect of the day (hence my being anti-DJ) and Caroline was a true partner in developing our playlist. She listened to us and took the time to understand who we were, what was important to us and what kind of vibe we were going for. She walked (danced?) the fine line between honoring our playist requests and applying her expertise to read the crowd and adjust accordingly. I am not exaggerating when I say the dance floor was bananas for three straight hours. We had guests ask for a copy of the playlist and people even commented on the cocktail and dinner music. Having an experienced MC who "got" us made the day flow seemlessly from event to event.
We went with the digital photobooth and our guests loved it. All guests received a copy of the entire photobooth album on their phone or email. I believe the guests were supposed to get their photo sent immediately to their phones but internet service was not great so most people did not get theirs until the next morning. It totally worked out because we, as well as all of the guests, had so much fun looking at the photobooth the following day!
Caroline and her team were true professionals. My husband is from Ukraine and we had lots of Russian-speaking guests and some eastern eurpopean customs that we wanted to incorporate. Caroline embraced the multi-cultural element and celebrated it. She made the effort to learn the proper pronounciations of the complicated names of the bridal party and totally nailed it. Someone asked me if she spoke Russian! We also had some delicate family dynamics and Caroline navigated them with grace throughout the day. She also coordinated the sparkler send-off and it was the perfect end to the evening.
We truly couldn't be happier with our choice. Book with Upbeat Occasions, you will not regret it! -

Upbeat Occassions came to the rescue for us recently. We were forced to change venues with 3 months to go before our wedding date. During the crazy time of Covid, we ended up needing a DJ pretty close to the date of our wedding. Caroline from Upbeat Occasionals came highly recommended by a few close friends. The reception was literally perfect because of her and she sent me an amazing video she created that we didn’t even contract for afterwards!
The reception ended up chaotic because of COVID, our schedule got flip flopped and it didn’t shake her at all, she literally didn’t miss a beat! Played great music, rest games with our kids (20 yr olds) and wrapped up the night perfectly with an impromptu sparkler send off. Would HIGHLY recommend Her for any event, she clearly

We chose Caroline for our wedding after previously seeing her work and knowing she would take a personal investment in our music choice (more 90s/2000s and southern hip hop).
Due to COVID-19 our wedding had to make some significant changes, primarily no dancing. Caroline was able to take that change and still make our wedding feel like an absolute BANGER. She filled it with entertaining games, trivia, and unique spins on old traditions that made it feel like we always had something to do due our wedding. With 1.5 hours left at the end (which usually would have been for dancing) she played the music we want that made it still feel alive and upbeat (see what I did there). Her song choice, song timing, and mixing not only made it feel like we were always hearing music with no noticeable stop to transition, but gave us the vibe we were aiming for to perfection. The process of planning the wedding was super easy utilizing her planning forms and she always made herself available to us for any questions or changes. The one thing that made us confident in our choice of dj was that she went out of her way to make our wedding feel like OUR wedding and not a copy and paste wedding she has done before. She customized the questions and games to fit our style and vibe. Caroline does not have a cheesy DJ voice but rather speaks to the crowd as if she’s a friend/family member even making appropriate quips. She remember members of the family by name and even addressed them as such which overall increased comfort.
She gives you the world for a decent price and We can’t recommend her enough.

Caroline, of Upbeat Occasions was a truly wonderful choice to DJ our wedding.
First, she is fun and easy to work with. We met twice before the wedding and she made the planning process really easy.
Her music selection is exceptionally vast and diverse. We had a blast playing around in our client portal and picking songs. Caroline had really great suggestions for us regarding song choice for special moments (such as first dance, procession, etc.)
Upbeat Occasions also offered some other services that we loved. For example, during cocktail hour Caroline and her colleague, Mo, played table games with guests.....it was a lot of fun and helped create a festive atmosphere. We also used the photo booth which was GREAT. Guests loved receiving the link to the pictures and we had fun also. We also did the sparkler sendoff which made for great photographs!
Caroline is professional, experienced and reliable. She was a pleasure to work with and if you hire her you will be thrilled.
I'll also note that my wife and I are a gay couple and felt celebrated, valued and honored by Caroline, which is not true for all companies.

Caroline helped me to mix music, MC, and execute a special dance with my new brother in law with Down syndrome. Caroline at Upbeat Occasions worked to make our wedding day unforgettable. Not only is she a professional, but she is a genuinely kind person and super enjoyable to work with. My wife, Kayla, and I have varied music tastes ranging from classic rock, 80s pop, modern indie, and video game/movie soundtracks, and Caroline was able to work with us to incorporate all of them into our day. Indeed, we wound up bonding with her over a number of our music choices (she complimented us on our choice of walking out to "Any Colour You Like" by Pink Floyd, stating that she was so excited to play Pink Floyd at at wedding). She was more than willing to listen to our suggestions, and she even worked with some of our friends that surprised us by dressing up as the Village People and dancing during the song "YMCA," announcing to the audience that we had "A special guest visit," which made everybody laugh. Her MCing skills were on-point, she was incredibly organized with timing of songs and announcements, and the music quality was superb. Caroline was very flexible to work with, as most of our phone calls with her took place in the evenings when Kayla and I were free (generally after 6 pm). All in all, we are so happy that we worked with her, and would highly recommend her to anybody. Thank you Caroline! -

Caroline was recommended to us by our wedding planner at The Century House, and we could not have been happier! At our first meeting with Caroline, we could tell that she was going to be a lot of fun, and that she would be the right person for the job.
It was great to be able to select some music from her online library for her to play during the different parts of the reception. We love a lot of different types of music and Caroline filled in the gaps of our selections perfectly. She started out strong out of the gate, getting everyone up out of their chairs and onto the dance floor. She kept the energy alive all throughout the night, and the music selection was spot on!
Everyone had nothing but great things to say about her and her music, and it catered perfectly to our friends and family. If you are considering Caroline and Upbeat Occasions for your next event, we couldn't recommend her more!

Absolutely set the tone for our wedding. Dj Caroline was a wealth of knowledge. Me and my wife knew about 20% of what we wanted musically for our wedding and we couldn’t of filled the other 80% without Carolines expertise and experience. With the amount of hectic planning that goes into a wedding, it was a relief to have someone there threw it all making the experience much easier and enjoyable.
