We couldn’t recommend Up2Somethin’ more! They definitely brought the party! They were easy to work with and Rickey was so helpful through the whole process. All our guests, of all ages, never left the dance floor! -

Up 2 Somethin’ brought ENERGY and great VIBES to our wedding. They were so easy to talk to are so much fun to work with. Our guests loved them so much as well. Always professional and they clearly love what they are doing! The dance floor was hoppin the whole night we didn’t want to stop. Any of our questions or concerns they were happy to address and always got back to us right away. It was so much fun choosing our songs and making the timeline. Everything went so smoothly. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about them! Excellent musicians and performers. We hope to work with them again in the future!!! -

The band was incredible! It seems like everyone at the wedding has made a point to mention how great they were. The party was jumping from start to finish! They are supremely talented musicians and can read the crowd really well. They also do a great job serving as MCs for the introductions and dinner. The band and their sound company was able to accommodate our somewhat unique sound requirements with 2 additional sound systems (including one with no power source) on top of the main system the band used. We planned the wedding from Utah but Ricky and the band always put our mind at ease that the music was not going to be a problem. I could not recommend this band enough.Up2Somethin''s reply:

I can't possibly speak any higher of this band! They are by FAR the best wedding band around! We went and listened to several other bands on WeddingWire before we heard Up2somethin. The moment we heard them we knew they were the ones!
We danced alongside our guests all night long and loved every minute of it! It's obvious the band loves what they do and love doing it together! Because of that, they brought such a high level of excitement and energy, kicking off our reception right!
They also helped us with the announcements, toasts, and getting everyone where they needed to be. Ricky was a HUGE help! My only regret was only feeding them sandwiches! I should have hooked them up with steak dinners, they were that good!Up2Somethin''s reply:

I have seen Up2Somethin' perform at local Casinos, sponsored parties and other weddings and I knew I had to have them at my own wedding. They were great to work with, so friendly and very professional before and during.
Their large band has great energy and really get the party going. You can tell they love what they do and want you to have a great time. They also have a "DJ" that can play music during the ceremony, the dinner hour, and any breaks (if your party is long enough) so there's never a lull or guests getting overwhelmed with loud live music during dinner. You really can't beat them it's a full package of entertainment.
They have a huge range of songs new and old, that they customize them and play medlys that really keep the energy high and keep people interested as they're great at reading the crowd and adapting. My dance floor was packed all night long with guests from 5 to 70 yrs old, everyone could enjoy them. Guests raved about them to me for weeks saying they'd never had such a great time at a wedding. -

This is not your typical party band. The players are all TOP NOTCH! In addition to their display of great talent, they are so much fun! High Energy, great song selections, funny, friendly, and overall a JOY to work with. It would be a mistake to pass up on a chance to hire this band.Up2Somethin''s reply:

I was in charge of hiring a band for my Club's 50th Anniversary celebration and heard Up2somethin at Remedy at the Finger lakes Casino. The moment I walked in I knew they were the "one"! The band has an energy that makes you want to drop everything and dance. The lead singer is amazing, her voice never quits. They took requests from the guests, but didn't need to, they played a variety of songs to please everyone. I had many compliments on the band, they made me look good. Besides being very talented musicians, up2somethin band is very professional. Ricky communicated with me every step of the way and was very easy to reach. I would hire them in a heartbeat!! -

I couldn't have been more pleased with Up2Somethin'. They kept our guests dancing all night long, and we heard from several people that they were the best band they had heard at a wedding. These musicians are truly talented, and know how to create a great party.
The only negative is that I felt like the band leader was a little disorganized. For example, I sent him a schedule for our reception, and on several phone calls specifically for the purpose of reviewing the schedule, he didn't have a copy in front of him. This was a small inconvenience compared to the great product that we received in the end, and when it counted, the schedule flowed perfectly.
