Best party of our lives!

My entire experience with Unique Sounds Entertainment was easy and stress free from the beginning to end. I had the pleasure of having Jon Smith DJ my wedding this past weekend. I really enjoyed his engagement with the guests to get them up and on their feet! Once they hit the dance floor, it was ALWAYS full for the remainder of the night. He did a fantastic job incorporating the “must play” songs with a variety of music for all ages while keeping the transitions seamless. Before the end of the night I had many guests asking for his info to hire him for future events. I would absolutely recommend Unique Sounds to any person that is looking for a high energy, lively night that you will remember forever.

We used DJ Jon Smith for our wedding at the Lakehouse, we had previously used him twice before for other events and there’s a reason we chose him again for our big day! He was amazing! Not only is he so easy to work with by listening to all of our questions he had excellent suggestions too. He easily got our dance floor going all night from the very beginning! We received multiple compliments from different guests on how much they enjoyed the music and our DJ. I’d recommend Jon Smith to anyone for big events, especially your wedding day if the dance floor is a big deal to you!

Jon Smith is hands down the BEST DJ for your Wedding!

Jon smith is hands down the best DJ you could possibly pick for your wedding! He really gets the audience going with his upbeat music and his crowd pleasing games. From day 1 he was so easy to work with and very personable. We had a phone call with him to start and it felt like talking to a friend. He is such an outgoing and great dude. He takes the initiative and always follows up on emails and confirming everything is perfect. We highly recommend visiting him at his office for the second meeting instead of a call/virtual. We had a great time chatting and joking while listening to music with him in person. He gave recommendations on mom/son dance, first dance, father/daughter dance etc. We listened to a ton of music and just hung out for awhile.

He performed at Lakeview Pavillion on July 25th and had a beautiful setup in the corner of the smaller sized ball room and was very professional. His 2 staff members were great as well. He mc’ed the event and knocked it out of the park… Ask Jon to do the towel/guests dancing around the chairs game and thank me later!

It’s been 4 months and guests are still saying how much fun they had at our wedding and that the music was dead on ALL night!

Jon is the man for your wedding. Don’t even hesitate on getting him if he is available for your wedding!

Beautiful ceremony to best party of our lives

DJ Alex Dias kept the party going! After our first meeting, I knew we were in good hands. He knew the flow of a wedding- from perfectly setting up the ceremony, to getting everyone’s names right during announcements, to intertwining our music requests with other crowd pleasers. Everyone said they had so much fun and were on the dance floor the whole time. Blake Boyer was also a huge help in the planning portion beforehand. Thank you both for making our wedding so fun!

Book alex dias!

The DJ sets the vibe for the entire night, and wow — Alex absolutely crushed it. We've been to a lot of weddings, and it’s rare to see a dance floor packed from start to finish, but he had ours full the entire night. Every song choice, every transition, every moment flowed perfectly — from the high-energy entrance all the way through to the very last song. Alex has this incredible ability to read the room and keep the energy exactly where it should be. He made the night seamless, fun, and truly unforgettable. As a bride, I felt like I had a lot of specific requests regarding timing of certain songs for the processional, recessional, first dances, etc. He exceeded my dreams. From ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner and reception, it was truly immaculate. Our family and friends have not stopped raving about him and basically the unreal journey he took us all on through music. I also surprised my husband with a saxophonist who was completely unrelated to Alex & Unique Sounds, but they were an INSANE dynamic duo. They worked together SO WELL, which again speaks to Alex's talent. I was SO happy to have him in my corner all night - aside from the incredible music, he is so fun and great to be around. If you’re looking for a DJ, seriously, stop looking — Alex is the one. Thank you, Alex, for giving us a night we’ll never forget and keeping the party going from start to finish!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with DJ Jon Smith of Unique Sounds Entertainment for our wedding! From our very first conversation, Jon was professional, attentive, and genuinely excited to help us create the perfect atmosphere for our big day. The only DJ you should consider

Unique Sounds MADE our wedding! It was a party from start to finish. We had multiple guests come up to us and say that they’ve never been to a wedding where they were up dancing before the meal had even been served. DJ Jon Smith played hit after hit that kept our guests and ourselves dancing the whole night, which is exactly what we wanted. He was great to work with and played such a great mix of songs! You truly cannot go wrong with Unique Sounds Entertainment!! They deserve 10 stars not 5!

Very friendly, amazing at checking in and communicating. Jon really knows how to get the party going and make everyone included.

Communication before the wedding and during was amazing! Jon was right there at the door to greet me when I arrived at the venue, extremely friendly and easy to talk to. He did everything I asked regarding music, no problems there. Jon did our ceremony, provided microphones for the groom and officiant, the smallest most discreet microphones ever. Played the most beautiful Disney instrumental music before ceremony. Then switched gears for our reception! We were supposed to do a funny dancing song when he introduced us but at the last second my husband and I decided to switch gears and Jon had no problem what so ever! He had a clear loud voice when making announcements, everyone understood him.
When it got close to the dance floor opening up he got everyone (young and old) at my wedding to participate in a fun dancing game. Everyone was dancing singing and laughing it was awesome and unexpected!!! The dance floor opened up and he played wonderful upbeat music that all flowed together no weird pauses or breaks between songs. He takes some videos and posts them on his instagram which I don't mind at all. My wedding and night was a 10/10 because of Jon and unique sounds entertainment! So wish I got a photo with Jon

Book Unique Sounds!!

I cannot recommend Unique Sounds enough. It is really clear that this team knows how to do weddings, specifically! We had DJ Jon Smith for our February 2025 wedding at the Graduate by Hilton Providence. For the months leading up to the wedding, Unique Sounds was extremely responsive and communicative. I spoke with both Blake and Jon at different times, and not only are they professional and good what they do, but they are kind, genuine people who really wanted to tailor their service to our vibe/vision. Jon went through a comprehensive breakdown of the day with us, so we felt confident going in. I'd recommend just trusting Jon to get the attendees going because he knows what he's doing! Our wedding party intro was absolute electric, and Jon found ways to engage the attendees throughout the night. I have had so many people come up to me and say that they have never seen a dance floor so packed at a wedding. Once the dance floor opened up, people didn't sit down. Unique Sounds and Jon, thank you for being such a highlight of the night!

Dj alex is amazing

We worked with DJ Alex for our wedding and could not have been happier. He did such a great job catering to the crowd, where everyone was either under 30 or over 60. Our guests are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding and how amazing they thought the DJ was. He also did a fantastic job working with the MOH, who has Autism. Alex was also super helpful when it came to finalizing the timeline and took the pressure off of us to actually run the event. We cannot recommend Alex and Unique Sound enough. Thank you!!

Highly Recommend

From start to finish it was amazing working with Alex. He was easy to communicate with throughout the planning process and was very quick to respond back to me about any questions I had. He was extremely professional and given his experience, was also able to help us plan out aspects of the reception/provide advice in areas we were unsure. I did not give him a playlist and instead had a few do not play songs and must play. I’m happy I gave him flexibility with the song choices because he did an amazing job and had everyone (all ages) out on the dance floor the entire night. So many people came up to us saying how great Alex was and how much fun they had. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a quality DJ!

Jon Smith is the best DJ of all time!

We had the absolute honor and privilege to have DJ Jon Smith join us for our wedding. First, our ceremony was outside in the wind and rain and you wouldn’t even know it from the sound that was played through the speakers! His equipment is top notch. I also had specific songs I wanted played during the ceremony and he didn’t miss a beat! It was exactly what I had dreamed of! Then the reception…unreal! He knows how to work a room and get every single person on their feet dancing! We had a packed dance floor before the first course even came out! We also had a large range of old and young guests and his playlists had everyone dancing the night away! If you are looking for someone to make sure all of your guests leave saying “there will never be a wedding more fun than yours” BOOK JON!!

Unique sounds was the best!

Alex was absolutely AMAZING!!! he was so detail oriented during our planning process and made everything so seamless the day of. Our guests complimented his energy and his ability to get everyone on the dance floor. we absolutely loved the activity where each table nominated "captains" and then this transitioned to everyone on the dance floor. it got everyone up on their feet and so many of our guests commented how fun and unique that was. Overall, our experience with alex couldn't have been better. we have a few friends in the area who are engaged and wedding planning right now and we'll definitely be recommending unique sounds!!

We had Vincent as our DJ. He was extremely communicative, responsive, and overall very caring. He made sure that we were comfortable on our special day. Unique Sounds is truly the best of the best! From the moment I had reached out and spoke to Blake, I instantly felt confident that this was the company we wanted to work with for our wedding! Best DJ Ever

If you’re looking for a DJ, you have to go with Unique Sounds Entertainment and go with DJ Jon Smith! You will NOT be disappointed. I was originally supposed to have my wedding in December, and unfortunately got into a terrible car accident which forced us to postpone the wedding. Jon was so sincere and kind through this whole process. He even checked in on me to make sure I was doing okay. When it came to his work, Jon was amazing. I had my father daughter dance edited and it didn’t sound too good, so Jon took the initiative to fix it and it sounded perfect. He kept the crowd on the dance floor the entire night and even surprised us with a fun game he played with the guests. It was so fun and sweet and got everyone up and moving. My family and friends loved Jon, and how personable and kind he was. He made the night a night to remember forever. Don’t even look any further… just choose Jon Smith!

DJ Alex exceeded expectations!

DJ Alex was phenomenal. We were so impressed with his attention to detail. During our pre wedding call he walked us through every detail of the day, asked for our preferences, made recommendations based on his experience, and concluded with a list of action items for us to think about prior to our special day. We hadn’t thought about details like what music to play during cocktail hour, while guests enter the ceremony, etc.. and he made great suggestions! The choices he made fit our wedding vibe, our tastes, and it was so great! On the actual day, Alex delivered. He was an excellent emcee who worked well with our venue coordinator and photographer to ensure everything went smoothly. Our dance floor was packed! He did a great job of beginning the night with songs that kept all ages (30+ as we had no kids) on the dance floor and slowly transitioned throughout the night into songs that kept the 30 something’s on the dance floor late into the evening. I barely left the dance floor because good song after good song kept coming on so we couldn’t leave! Amazing DJ!!!!

We were lucky enough to have DJ Alex for our wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier!!!!! He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we wanted on our special day. He helped us add so many personal touches, from a traditional Albanian dance to a very special anniversary dance that all the guests enjoyed. The energy and love that he brought to our wedding were just unmatched, and we still have people telling us how much they loved the music and that this was the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding. To top it all off, Alex had just had unexpected surgery right before our wedding and still came through for us. You would literally never have known, and it just blew us away that he was able to bring such an amazing level of energy to our day. We truly couldn’t be happier and we’re so glad that we went with Unique Sounds and especially with Alex. You will not regret booking him too!!!!

Amazing Wedding DJ

DJ Jon Smith was absolutely incredible! From the pre-wedding phone call where we walked through everything, I knew we were in good hands and that Jon would be great! Jon was professional, prepared and most of all FUN! We had a mix of young and old guests and everyone was up on their feet dancing the whole night, exactly as we hoped!! Amazing DJ!

DJ Alex was so personable and easy to talk to! My husband and I are not huge dancers but he managed to keep us (and all our guests) on the dance floor all night. He was organized, thorough, and ensured all our questions were answered. He integrated the Persian music my parents wanted, and also gave great suggestions for the ceremony and reception. Dj Alex was absolutely the best part of our wedding!!!
He is so kind, personable, and funny. In every meeting we had, we enjoyed it thoroughly and laughed. We were very stressed with all the planning and he made everything so easy and seamless. He was really great at asking all the right questions to help us figure out what we wanted (we had no idea where to even start). We love a wide variety of music and he was able to touch on everything that we loved while making it blend and seamless. We hate being center of attention and he made sure we were comfortable during each step and had certain strategies on how to make us feel better. He did some games before dinner as well, some that we had never seen before and it was so much fun, he had everyone dancing around tables we were dying laughing! Our dance floor was packed all night and it was something I’ll never forget. Thank you DJ Alex for your professionalism, kindness, and all the laughs! You were such a big part of our wedding and we are so grateful and can’t thank you enough!

August Wedding 2023

It is extremely difficult to try and sum up how amazing Unique Sounds is!! They made everything leading up to our special day and our wedding day so perfect! My new husband and I are not spotlight people. Blake truly helped us have those special moments we needed while keeping them short! He was so flexible when we asked him to remind our guests to use our audio guest book and a QR code we were using for photos. He got each table having so much fun with a table captain and dancing. It was hilarious!!! Our guests could not stop raving about how much fun that had. The dance floor was packed the entire night!! My guests did not want the night to end. They kept shouting “One more song” but the night had to end! We cannot thank Unique Sounds enough!!!!!!!!!

Unique Sounds is THE ONE!

DJ Gary Lombard is a master of his craft. Gary had the energy set to 100 from beginning to end at our wedding. From the audio clarity during the ceremony, to the insane mix he played during the reception, to his ability to get everyone on the dance floor - Gary left no stone unturned when it came to executing down to the detail.

The preparation that Gary had prior to the event was phenomenal. He was highly communicative and showed a true interest in ensuring that we were genuinely happy with every aspect of our big day. The number one quality we looked for in our vendors was their ability to be human and Gary made us feel as if we were family from day 1. Giant thank you's go out to Gary for all of his hard work and dedication he put into our magical day at Newport Vineyards. If we could rate him beyond a 10 we would. The best wedding DJ!!

Jon Smith is the GOAT of wedding DJs. He did three of my friends weddings and ours as well and this was honestly the best decision we could have made. He knows how to get and keep the dance floor going! He pumped the crowd up and got everyone involved. People are still talking about what a fun experience it was weeks later. He was able to accommodate all of our creative needs and wishes and really went the extra mile for us. He’s an excellent MC and I highly recommend him if you want to ensure a fun and lively atmosphere at your wedding.

Best DJ to work with, and even better memories on the dance floor!

Choosing the best music for your wedding is really stressful since you have to think about the varying musical interests throughout your wedding party, but DJ Jon Smith and Blake Boyer made sure that stress was nonexistent. They were willing to answer any and all questions I had about music preferences, our wedding timeline, and more. Blake was so nice and easy to talk to, and listened to our wedding vision and what we wanted for music. He offered me his advice, did not push me one way or another for who I wanted as our DJ, who was Jon Smith! Incredibly charismatic and easy to talk to, Jon worked with us regarding our music preferences and how we wanted the night to go. When we ended up changing some of the timeline around the day of (ex: we opted not to do the bouquet toss), Jon was incredibly understanding and took the changes with ease. He truly helped us tailor our night to be perfect, even though some of the events were a last minute add-in! Working with Jon and Blake was amazing, and if you want you and your guests to dance the night away, you must choose Unique Sounds!

DJ Jon Smith

We spoke with Blake on the phone and we were immediately a yes to booking Unique Sounds. He recommended a few different DJs and we ultimately went with DJ Jon Smith.

After meeting with Jon we knew 100% we had made the right choice. We had some odd requests for songs and Jon loved it. I don't know how he figured out our style of music because even we don't know our style of music but he did.

Jon did the audio for our ceremony and cocktail hour as well as our ceremony. We didn't have to worry about a thing. He just knows what he's doing. He knows weddings forwards and backwards.

He had people up and dancing immediately. He has a way of getting even the grumpiest of guests up and moving that I won't spoil here but we had friends and family raving about it.

If you're looking for a DJ that knows how to work a wedding DJ Jon Smith is it. He knows how to work a room. I absolutely would not have wanted anyone else DJing our wedding. We have no regrets or complaints about Jon. We have recieved nothing but rave reviews from our guests about Jon. Thank you DJ Jon Smith!

Unique Sounds was recommended to me from my aunt who had Gary as her DJ for her wedding 8 years ago. I loved the music at that wedding and was definitely interested in having them for our wedding. I reached out and Blake was the best to work with! He was super responsive and provided all the detail I needed. I booked Blake for our wedding and he brought the energy and fun for the night! Jon was absolutely amazing! There was not a spot on the dance floor all night. His setup time was cut to 1 hour and he went above and beyond to accommodate. He got our music taste and vibe perfectly! Beyond Exceeded Expecations!

If you want a DJ that is energetic, cares about the couple, and knows how to keep the party going, Unique Sounds, and specifically Jon are the ones for the job! This was exactly what we wanted for our wedding day and Jon delivered above and beyond expectations. Everyone is still raving about the music from the wedding. Jon worked with us before the wedding to learn our types of music and the types of music we did not want to play. From the introductions at the beginning to the mix of music for all ages, to our last dance song, Jon did it all. Guests of all ages were on the dance floor and people we did not expect to get up and dance were on the dance floor most of the night! Jon also helped us with the table photo challenge, where the couple must run to each table to take a photo during 1 song. He hyped up the crowd, gave clear directions, and helped make this challenge a success!
We also got a photo booth from Unique Sounds that was amazing. The women working at the photo booth was fun and managed to wrangle drunk adults for fun photos. The backdrop and digital props were a great addition. After the wedding, Robbie and I got a link to everyone’s photos from the photo booth which was a really nice touch.

Best DJ at a wedding that any of our guests had been to

Blake was phenomenal. From quick responsiveness and a wonderful initial meeting, to check ins along the planning process, we felt supported by an experienced team. Blake was helpful with telling us what was typical these days and giving suggestions when we asked for them. He had a great presence as an MC. His strategy to get the dancing started after dinner is something none of our guests had ever seen before. It was an absolute blast and got everyone on the dance floor to start off the party. The dance floor was packed all night. The progression of music was great, engaging all ages with classics at the start of the night and transitioning to music for the younger crowd as the night went on. We were very impressed and absolutely loved working with Blake.

DJ Alex Dias, Justine and the team at Unique Sound cannot be beat. We had a very fun, and somewhat complicated list of requests to make the day perfect and Alex was a consumate professional when it came to everything we asked for and more. His intro call and follow up calls before the big day were organized, fun, low pressure, and he asked so many questions we didn't think to ask which only helped us breath a little easier knowing we had him on our side. The Day of was full of everything we asked for and some AMAZING little surprises that really just took our dream and built on it. Danced the Night Away!

We hired DJ Gary Lombard with Unique Sounds and he absolutely crushed our wedding!!! He had nearly every person dancing and kept the floor busy all night. Furthermore, his attention to detail in ensuring he was prepared for all of the announcements, special song requests, etc. was impressive, and he executed flawlessly the day-of. Hire blake boyer from unique sounds now!

Blake gave every experience we had with him 110% from the initial phone call to see if we were a good fit to the final 2 week meeting to tie down any loose ends....even my frantic phone call 3 days before the wedding to let him know I forgot something and he became my mini therapist for 10 minutes telling me how wonderful the wedding will be and to not worry, he had it all covered. AND HE DID. He got even the most crabby guests up and dancing and his voice was so inviting we couldn't have made a better decision! Justin, his assistant was on top of everything while Blake Emceed and they worked so well together! You can tell how much attention and pride goes into their work! Cant recommend them enough!

We couldn't be happier with the services provided by Unique Sounds Entertainment. From our very first conversation with their team, we knew we were in good hands. They were responsive, flexible, and never had any issues with our requests and changes. Unique Sounds provided us with DJ/MC services, as well as venue uplighting, a social booth and photo montage/slideshow. Each of these services was top quality and performed with a high degree of professionalism. Our DJ was Chris Willis, who was excellent. He made sure to connect with us prior to the wedding to ensure all three of us were on the same page, and that the tone/vibe of the wedding was exactly how we wanted. He was able to source every song we requested and even incorporated songs that we edited for our first dance and introductions. Our guests had a great time and a large amount of credit goes to Chris and the team at Unique Sounds.

He did just that...he got everyone excited and played songs that kept people on the dance floor! One thing I heard from guests about the ceremony too, was they could hear us!! incredible DJ & fantastic music!

Jon was simply amazing!! From providing the audio during our outdoor ceremony to the music and introductions at the reception, Jon made sure everything flowed smoothly and sounded great. He worked seamlessly with the wedding coordinator at our hotel venue. She even commented on how easy it was to work with Jon and how he was amazing! When working with Jon, he made sure all of our requests were met. He took the time to go through our music interests as a couple as well as the vibe that we wanted for our wedding day. Jon reviewed all the songs we wanted and was able to give great suggestions when we needed them. He focused on every detail and made our wedding a day/night to remember. He definitely rocked the house! Our guests loved the song choices, and everyone had an awesome time dancing. We couldn't be happier!

Best DJ Around

We hired DJ Jon Smith from Unique Sounds after attending a wedding in which he was the DJ. He specializes in playing hit after hit and transitioning the songs so there is nonstop dancing.

For our wedding DJ Jon Smith helped play all the music for the ceremony, cock-tail hour, and reception. Everything ran flawlessly. We met before hand and went through every detail making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it.

He was a huge help in transitioning to each location, announcing everyone, and making sure we stuck to our timeline. There were positives vibes and hyped up energy coming from his booth all night long. People of all ages loved the music selection and would not stop dancing. No one wanted to leave at the end of the night. I would highly recommend his services to anyone!!!!

An amazing wedding dj

Wow - I cannot say enough good things about our DJ Alex Diaz!! He was absolutely amazing and made our wedding night such a blast! From our very first phone call, we knew he was the one! For my husband and I, it is all about the personality and Alex has that IT factor. He brought such a positive energy and knew exactly what to do to get our crowd excited and involved! He could read the room SO well and knew when to play just a snippet of a song verses letting the whole thing play out. There was never a dull moment and our dance floor was filled the entire night!! Awesome DJ! Exceptional Service!

I've been to far too many weddings to count over the years because my husband is a minister. I saw Blake Boyer from Unique Sounds Entertainment DJ at a wedding in August 2019, and when leaving the reception, I said to my husband, "That DJ was awesome! I want him to do our daughters' weddings!" Three years (and a global pandemic) later, Blake was the DJ at our oldest daughter's wedding in June 2022.

Blake was incredible! He was able to "read the room" -- choosing songs and making adjustments to ensure all guests had a great time. Blake ensured the planning process went smoothly. He thoughtfully listened to our ideas, questions, and concerns, and we felt comfortable relying on his excellent judgment and instincts when he offered suggestions or recommendations. His ideas were SPOT ON every single time.

Dozens of guests came up to us at the end of the night to tell us our DJ was fantastic and that they had an awesome time! The couple from 2019 who gave us Blake's contact information told us they had heard him at a wedding and loved him so much they asked that couple how to get in touch with him when they started planning for their big day. I won't be surprised if people reach out to us in the future looking for Blake's contact information. Exactly what you're looking for in a DJ!

I'm going to sound like a broken record here but DJ Jon Smith was the ABSOLUTE best! He seriously killed it all night long. Played every song we requested, checked in with us throughout the wedding and had everybody dancing All. Night. Long! We went to a wedding years ago where he was the DJ and one of the first decisions we made when we started our own wedding planning was to make sure to have him as our DJ. He really is that good. Best decision ever!

Alex! I cannot say enough good things, he was absolutely incredible and my guests loved him! I have never hired a DJ before but Unique Sounds came highly recommend from a friend who used them for her wedding. From the first phone call I knew I was going to hire them and Alex was the perfect match. All I knew was that I didn't want some cheesey radio personality and he was absolutely not that. Alex told me he knew how to get people dancing and he was right! He was so thorough with the planning and was totally cool with my want for a non traditional style wedding. Alex was able to accommodate my song requests as well as mix in things that he thought the crowd would like. Everyone said it was the best wedding they've been too!

Easy to work with, fantastic at what they do

DJ Alex was fantastic, and left us completely at ease. He answered all of our questions, including ones we didn't think to ask. He checked in with us a couple of weeks before the date to re-confirm details, which was especially helpful due to COVID/Omicron causing our party numbers to fluctuate last-minute.

On the day-of, Alex and Mark were complete pros and everything went super smoothly. They set the vibe immediately, and helped to get people excited/dancing. We could not be happier with how our experience turned out, and our wedding wouldn't have been as successful without Alex.

Before/beyond Alex, the process with Unique Sounds was super easy. I believe I worked mostly with Blake before being paired with Alex (Blake's recommendation -- spot on!), and he was great as well. The online system was super easy to use, and helped us plan out the agenda for the day and the music.

I super duper recommend Unique Sounds, and Alex specifically.

Amazing company

We went to a friends wedding who used Unique Sounds as their DJ and they did such a good job that we knew we used them at our wedding. Blake was amazing from start to finish! Last minute!

Talk about luck. This company saved my butt for my wedding. My first DJ ghosted us and we were at a lost, since it was two months before my wedding. My photographer suggested this company and we were luckyyy. Someone had my back. Gary was the only one available and i am so thankful!!!!! I cannot say enough good things about this guy!!! Dj Blake is not just a Dj. He’s an entertainer!

We hired Dj Blake for our wedding. He was always available by text, email, or phone call. He’s very easy to talk to and I quickly felt like I was talking to an old friend. We went over a lot about the wedding but also shared some personal stories. He has contagious energy and quickly got everyone involved at the wedding. He started this table captain game that got the place dancing and laughing. We got many compliments on him and will definitely recommend him to family and friends.

DJ Jon from Unique Sounds was AMAZING. He was so kind, professional, and fun! Amazing DJ Made for Amazing Wedding!

We highly, highly recommend DJ Gary and Unique Sounds. DJ Gary greatly exceeded our expectations. We had a small crowd of ~40 people, half in their thirties and half 60+, at a Sunday evening wedding. We expected a handful of people to dance for perhaps an hour. DJ Gary managed to keep >30 people on the dance floor for the entire 2+ hour dance time! We couldn’t believe it. His mix of songs were absolutely great for all age groups and the energy never dipped for a second. DJ Gary also went above-and-beyond in overcoming some obstacles from our venue to ensure his setup for our ceremony was perfect, and made for a great experience. DJ Gary was also extremely professional and personable. Fantastic experience!

DJ Jon was amazing! He collaborated a great selection of music to our interest in styles as well as guests requests. Everyone was on the dance floor all night long. In addition, we added the uplighting package to set the mood which did not hinder the French inspired reception room. Even two weeks later, guests were raving about the music and lighting. Fantastic DJ!

Alex was terrific. From the start he was available to talk or text with any questions or concerns. He is super friendly and put us at ease with the process. During our ceremony we had decided not to use a microphone because it was windy and we didn’t feel like we needed it. Dj blake was awesome

DJ Blake was out of this world awesome. He was so professional, easy to work with, and felt genuinely excited to be part of our day. In our meetings with Blake, we mentioned a LOT of special ideas -- first dance outside (regular dance floor inside), family Irish step dance mid-celebration, the ringbearer opening the dance floor with the mic and a song from the lion king, and a few special request songs that I knew would bring certain groups to the dance floor at different points in the night. Blake handled ALL of these requests and was so pumped to make our vision for the dance party come to life. Guests of all ages complimented Blake in the days after the wedding saying that he was an awesome DJ and they had a blast dancing the night away. We cannot recommend Blake enough!!!

These DJs know how to throw a party!

DJ Jon Clough went above and beyond to make sure he executed our vision, which was very specific. He took the time to meet with us by phone and in person to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted (and didn't want) for our wedding. We are beyond happy with the work he performed for our day. The ceremony and reception music was perfect, the party was fun, and Jon is very clear on the microphone. That has always been important to me, because who wants to hear a muffled DJ? You want your dance floor packed all night- You need to hire DJ Blake!!!

I had the pleasure of working with DJ Blake, from Unique Sounds Entertainment. DJ Blake has the best energy, you can tell he really LOVEs what he does. DJ Blake was there for me every step of the way, he kept saying I got your back, it was just really nice meeting someone in the wedding industry who cared about how my wedding was gonna go just as much as me. From the first interaction he actually had me picture my wedding night reception with the lights the music and even the entertainment, Blake got me sooo excited I just had to sign up right up. Fast forward to the wedding reception and DJ Blake delivered just as promised, the whole night ran smoothly thanks to him, the up lightening was awesome, the photo booth apparently was a huge hit and oh did I mention from the first song to the last he got everyone on the dance floor till the last song. I never realized how much a DJ can make or break your night, well let me tell you DJ Blake made my whole wedding reception a HUGE hit that my guests are still saying "this was one of the best weddings Ive ever been too, your DJ is incredible!"

Best wedding dj ever

DJ Blake was AMAZINGGGG!!! Unique Sounds worked with me through all of the steps. Their online portal is so user friendly. Blake stayed in contact with me leading up to the wedding, helping with timelines, when certain things should be done ect. It was an extremely windy day, their sound system did amazing, everyone was able to hear us clearly during the ceremony. Dancing was a big part of my day, I wanted everyone from young to old out on the dance floor. And fast, I did not want all the extras taking away from the dance party. Blake kept everything on schedule and did just that, got EVERYONE up and dancing. I had many people come up to me to let me know how great of a DJ he was. I would highly recommend booking!!!!

DJ Alex Dias was excellent!

We worked with Alex Dias from Unique Sounds. I cannot fully explain in words how thrilled we are with the job he did! From start to finish, he was detail orientated , well organized and energetic. He agreed to meet with us over zoom for our final details meeting and went through the timeline of our wedding from beginning to end. At the wedding, he ran the entire show for us and not only had our guests dancing for 3.5 hours straight, but was an excellent announcer. Two weeks later and we are STILL receiving texts and comments from our guests about how we had the best DJ at a wedding they have ever been too (I am not exaggerating about this)!

My husband was especially happy that Alex stayed committed to our "no play list" even though one of the guests decided to make it his job to try to convince Alex to play a song on that list. Alex endured this guest with a smile and a laugh and stayed true to our wishes. Very impressive!

I hands down would recommend Alex Dias from Unique Sounds to anyone searching or on the fence about a DJ. You will not regret it and he will have you worry free on your big day!

Easy to work with

We had our initial meeting with DJ Jon Smith. We knew that we wanted to use DJ Alex Dias. He was the DJ at my sister-in-law's wedding and he was great! The entire process (even with COVID) was extremely easy. After the initial meeting with Jon there was no need to meet again in person, everything could be done over the phone or by video call. We booked DJ services for our ceremony and reception. We also booked the up lighting for our reception.

Above & Beyond

We hired DJ Blake and it was the best decision we made. Planning a wedding during Covid was awful but every time we reached out to Blake he helped us navigate our way - even if it wasn't DJ specific related - and assisted us however he could. I'm natually a 'control freak' but with Blake I was able to let go and had full confidence he would deliver exactly what we were looking for. With the additional wedding stress that came from Covid, one of the best feelings was not having to worry about anything music/MC related. His energy, personality, and most importantly his ability to read a room was exactly what we were looking for and we wouldn't have changed a thing - seriously! Everyone commented on how great his energy was and his way of getting people out of their seats and on to the dance floor - our photographer even took his card because they enjoyed worked with him. Blake even came to our rehearsal to run through some things with us that would be different because of Covid regulations! He put in all the effort to help make our day smooth and I truly don't think it would have been the same without him. If you want the full package from start to finish and someone who truly loves what they do and delivered exceptional service you don't need to look any further. I couldn't recommend DJ Blake or Unique Sounds enough!!! We are beyond happy with them!

We booked Alex with Unique Sounds due to our best man and MOH booking them five years earlier for their wedding! We were absolutely blown away by how amazing they were! I don’t think anyone left the dance floor all night unless it was to get another drink LOL! Party was amazing and seriously far exceeded our expectations, it was a dream! Thank you Alex and crew for keeping the party going nonstop, and for making the best day of our lives!!

Amazing Day

We traveled from Georgia to have our wedding in Massachusetts In November 2019 and Unique Sound did an amazing job! I have a culturally diverse group of family and Friends and everyone was on their feet. Unique sounds provided great customer service although we were located in different States. Every request was articulated to make our wedding day a dream come through.

Amazing DJ

Chris was absolutely amazing and fun!! People were dancing all night and having a blast. They also did the photobooth and uplighting at the venue the guests loved the photobooth and my daughter got all the pictures sent to her to enjoy!! Thank you again!!

You can't go wrong!!

There's not much to say beyond wow. From the initial conversation to the night of, my groom, parents and I have been absolutely blown away by DJ Jon Smith. We were recommended him by a family friend who recently got married and also hired him - and we COULD NOT be more happy we did as well. When we first spoke with Jon, he told us his goal is to get the party started and get people on the dance floor and he did not disappoint. We had 3 hours of nonstop dancing, and our guests couldn't stop raving about how great he was. We had the time of our lives!

So amazing

We had DJ Chris Chappelle as our DJ for our Novemebr 9th wedding and I can't say enough good words about him and Unique Sounds! We felt so comfortable after meeting him the week or so before the wedding and I thought it was so nice he took time out of this day to then follow up with each of us individually before the big day! Our dance floor was packed the whole night and we got so many compliments on how good the music and sound was!
