If you're looking for a photographer to capture memories from all kinds of events, Sam Fu is the one to go with.
My husband and I got married on October 10, 2025, at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas. As you may recall, it rained quite heavily around that time. We were supposed to have an outdoor wedding, but due to the rain, we ended up having an indoor ceremony.
However, Sam Fu is a very considerate photographer. He planned his shooting schedule so that we could take our first look photos while the weather was still good, before it started raining at the outdoor venue where our floral arch and decorations were set up. He also took us around the hotel to take many gorgeous photos! No matter if it's an indoor or outdoor shot, a portrait or landscape, a close-up or full-size shot, you will be amazed by his gorgeous compositions. He will guide you through all the motions when you're lost, and everything will turn out very well when you see the photos!
During the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, he captured all the touching moments, such as my husband and me entering separately, saying our vows, putting rings on each other's fingers, people toasting, crying, hugging, cutting the cake, and giving gifts.
My husband is very picky. After seeing Sam Fu’s work, he chose him over many other photographers. Now, my husband is proof. Sam Fu is a magician who can preserve all your good memories. Thank you Sam Fu! You’re the best! -

Professional and Reliable
We hired Sam for both our engagement and wedding photos and each time he's shown how professional and reliable he is. For our recent wedding photos, Sam Fu even came early to familiarize himself with the best venue shots and, though we had a long photoshoot list, he made sure to get each one and many many more. Truly demonstrating great care and attention to detail with his work. And even though he has many other weddings and events to photograph each week, we've always gotten our photos back very quickly from him. My husband and I will forever treasure all the beautiful photos and will be reaching out in the future because we know, with Sam, we'll always have great results. -

I cannot express how thrilled my partner and I are with the exceptional wedding photography services provided by Sam from Unique Photography. From the moment we contacted Sam, it was clear that we were in expert hands.
Sam's knowledge and expertise in the field were truly impressive. He guided us through the entire process. Sam was not only professional but also incredibly responsive. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, he was just a message away.
When it came to the actual photo day, Sam's talent as a photographer shone through. He captured every precious moment with such finesse and creativity. One aspect that particularly stood out was Sam's ability to give us clear and easy-to-follow posing directions. Sam is great! I found Sam initially via yelp when I was in search of a pre-wedding photographer. I stumbled upon his page and saw some nice reviews and decided to check out his website. I really liked his photos so I emailed about the packages he offered. I decided to go with a pre-wedding photoshoot package that included 2 locations and 2 wedding dresses to rent. After we set our date, I scheduled another time to go into the wedding dress rental store to pick out two dresses. On the day of, I got there early and they had a hair and make up artist for me. The HMUA also stayed with us during the photoshoot to do any needed touch ups. She even helped me change up my hairstyle when we switched to the 2nd location and dress. During the photoshoot, Sam was really good at directing us. We were initially really nervous about looking awkward and stiff but Sam had all the poses in his mind. Him and the HMUA reminded us to smile when we were getting tired of smiling and even gave us great tips on looking good in front of the camera. I am also glad that Sam was experimental and gave us different vibes and poses to try out. All in all, I would definitely recommend it. I chose to do a pre-wedding photoshoot knowing that I would not have enough time on my actual wedding day to dedicate so much time and care to making sure I get the best photos. This is a decision you won't regret. -

I feel very fortunate to have been able to find Sam and his studio to take our pre-wedding/engagement photos. With the pandemic, it was hard to find a photographer who would even respond to our emails. They offer a few photo packages to choose from. The team was there early for hair and makeup. What I love most is that they have a selection of wedding dresses to choose from to wear for the photoshoot. During the shoot, I loved that Sam directed us with all these different poses! Our pictures (and poses) would have came out very awkward had he not given us some tips. Sam and his team were super professional and welcoming. I would definitely recommend his studio to family and friends! -

OMG! Sam was wonderful to work with and our pictures turned out phenomenal. He was extremely professional from the minute we stepped into his studio for hair and makeup. He was friendly, engaging, and made us feel very glamorous. We shot at 2 locations. His picture taking skills and different angles and perspectives made everything look so natural and amazing. He used the golden hour lighting near sunset time to its full advantage and we cannot be more satisfied with the end result. I highly recommend him for any serious photo shoot. He’s been a pure joy to work with and his artistry is amazing. Definitely 5 stars all the way around! -

Sam Fu and his team were exactly what we were looking for for our wedding. We had found people for a little less money but their pictures and videography was nothing near the quality of Sam Fu's. Sam and his team are the most professional one I have ever met! We were kind of nervous when selecting our photography and videography teams until we met Sam Fu. He is super patient and be there for us whenever we had any questions to reach out. He showed his high technics in every aspect and really impressed us! We booked to take our pre engagement pictures at Kimberly Crest garden, and he went there with his team to shoot videos clips which were used in our video. The wedding dresses and flowers he provided were beautiful which saved us a lot of budget too. He is very easy to communicate and always willing to accommodate with us for any special needs. We really felt being taken good care of~ The pictures and videos came out very good and impressive. I will definitely recommend him to my friends!!! -

Sam Fu is experienced and patient. His team provided great pose advise during our pre wedding, rooftop helipad, ceremony, reception, guest group pictures. Pictures were received quickly and retouch was done nicely per our request. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL THE BRIDE AND GROOM OUT THERE!!!!! -

SamFu is honestly one of the best photographers ever. He pays attention to detail, very creative artwork in his photography, reasonable prices, responds quickly, very accommodating, punctual, respectful, and overall was such a joy to have him at our wedding. I have known Sam from my wedding planner, and I actually met Sam at LZ Bridal in last year November during my wedding gown tryout session. Sam's studio was located in the same building as LZ Bridal, and it happened that Sam was also in his studio in the same day. After I settled with my wedding gown, me and my husband decided to sit down with Sam to learn more about the wedding day photo packages and hoped to get to know more about Sam and his team's photo-shoot style. Sam immediately shared his photo albums with us, and tried to answer all our questions and concerns on wedding day photography. From our conversation, we have learned so much about Sam and his team's photo-shoot styles and techniques, and most importantly, we could tell that Sam loves his job! He is very passionate and enthusiastic about photography, and we could see he is proud of every piece of his work. We had decided to choose Sam and his team for wedding photographer for our special day in our mind, because we are confident that Sam would do his best to capture our very best moments.
On our wedding day, Sam and his team arrived on time despite the raining weather. Due to the unexpected rain in SCAL, our wedding had to move indoor instead of on the oceanfront lawn as originally planned. Because of this change, the photo shoots had to take place indoor. With the limitation of lighting and space, Sam and his team tried their best to capture the every beautiful moment of our wedding. With their professionalism, the entire shooting experience went smoothly.
We finally received our wedding photos one month after the wedding, and Unique Studio did not disappoint us. Thank you so much Unique Photography!! Everyone looks lovely in the photo, and I cannot wait to share these amazing memories captured in pictures with my friends and family.

Sam Fu is a very professional photographer and has a perfect studio working! I booked with them for my engagement photos and when I saw the sample albums, damn! That is what I want! The photos are so beautiful! The photographer is awesome.
While we were taking the pictures, he’s very professional. He won’t waste time to do other things. The only thing he’ll do is to find the best way to take good pictures as much as he can.

Professional and reliable!
Sam Fu and his team did the photography for my wedding last year in October 2018. This review is a long time coming but as my 1 year approaches, I thank the heavens that I was able to have Sam and his team be our photographer. They took literally thousands of photos and was able to capture every key moment of our special day. I really appreciate the fact that Sam takes personal care and attention when it comes to his work. They showed up early and was prepared and worked seamlessly with our other vendors. I can tell Sam and his team are all professionals because my wedding went so smoothly without any hitch or interruption. Sam Fu Photography (Unique Photography) was our photographer for our wedding. My now wife and I couldn’t be happier to have them there. They were very professional, courteous, and prompt. When we first met with Sam, he was very diligent to tell us what packages we should get for the wedding. Of course, like any couples we have a budget and most photographers have different packages. Sam recommended the best one for us.
We had an Asian, specifically Chinese style wedding. So we had typical door games, tea ceremony, and as well the regular reception. Needless to say we were pretty happy with their knowledge on Asian wedding ceremonies. Overall, Sam and his photography team was super generous and definitely made our wedding day THE MOST MEMORABLE DAY of our lives. THANK YOU SAM AND YOUR TEAM! -

I just got my wedding photos yesterday and they exceed my expectation! The light and picture composition are perfect, and they are good at catching people's facial expression. The post processing on the pictures is great too, natural and beautiful.
I'm so lucky to have Sam Fu and his team as my photographer and videographer. They are experienced, responsible, and professional. And they are also familiar with all the good spots to take pictures. So if you can't find a spot for your photos, they can always give you great recommendations! The best photographers and videographers I've ever had! -
