We had a once in a lifetime trip thanks to Renee with Unforgettable Honeymoons! We left for our Thailand honeymoon three days after our wedding and didn't have time or energy to put into planning things ourselves, so it was so relieving knowing that our honeymoon was planned out by an expert. We had a great mix of activities and time to relax, airport transfers were smooth, all the guides were friendly and knowledgable, and the hotels were breathtaking - we even got upgraded at our last resort via Renee's request. Renee also sent recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants, and shopping that were all great. Would highly recommend Unforgettable Honeymoons for anyone planning a honeymoon or other vacation. -

From the time my husband and I book our honeymoon back in November all the way through getting home from our honeymoon last week, Renee who works for Unforgettable Honeymoons has been absolutely AMAZING! When I first was looking to plan our honeymoon, I loved that I could specifically search for the type of honeymoon/trip that I wanted (all inclusive, romantic & luxurious, some type of pool or soaking tub on our balcony, spa, enough to do where we don't have to leave the resort, etc.). Once I picked a place and connected with Renee, she actually recommended that we go somewhere else because she said it hits all of the marks of what we wanted and we can get more for our money, and OH MY GOODNESS was she right. I am so incredibly grateful for her because without her and the company, I wouldn't have been able to experience the honeymoon that I've dreamt about since I was a little girl! We somehow paid less than LESS THAN HALF of what we should've paid to stay in the most amazing suites. We stayed in two suites, and for half of our trip Renee somehow managed to book us the PENTHOUSE!! She stayed within our budget and she was so excited for us when we were booking. I can't express enough how perfect everything was, and how blown away I am by our entire experience; it almost seems like it was too good to be true!
Leading up to leaving for our honeymooon, Renee talked with us for probably 45 minutes prepping us for the trip. She gave us a packing list, which was SO useful, and gave us instructions and tips for moving through the airport, scheduling our airport transportation, eating food, planning activities, etc.. Outside of getting an amazing deal at a beautiful and luxurious resort, we wouldn't have had such a perfect honeymoon if it weren't for Renee prepping us for our trip about 1-2 weeks before.
I could go ON AND ON about this company and Renee, and I have been telling everyone I know that they need to use this company for honeymoons, anniversaries, etc. because it is so beyond worth it. I actually think it would be crazy to not book through them if you are considering it because I really don't think you can get a better deal in every sense anywhere else!

We just returned from our honeymoon in Costa Rica! We booked our trip through Maryann. She was wonderful!!! She set up our hotels and private transportation well within our budget. Everything went so smoothly and the hotels were absolutely incredible. She gave us many recommendations of activities to do and set up our golf day for us with the hotel. It was the best trip of our lives and we were so sad to come home. It helped so much that we did not have to stress about planning/booking this trip with everything else we had going on with the wedding. We had the pleasure of working with Renee Meyer and could not say enough good things. When we originally started planning our honeymoon, we were debating between a few destinations and resorts and decided to reach out to Unforgettable Honeymoon to streamline our planning and help us narrow down what seemed like unlimited options.
We filled out a survey with the kind of trip we were hoping to go on, and Renee reached out and we had an initial consultation. Renee spoke to us for almost an hour going over every detail we possibly could, and we decided that Couples Sans Souci in Jamaica would be the most ideal spot for us.
Unforgettable Honeymoons booked our flights, all our accommodation and every detail we could possibly need. We also received really helpful tips leading up to our trip and a booklet with all the details of our trip. Prior to our trip, we had an additional phone call with Renee where she addressed any last-minute issues and questions we had.
We highly recommend working with Unforgettable Honeymoons to plan your honeymoon (or anniversary trip)! -

An Unforgettable and Incredible Honeymoon Thanks to Unforgettable Honeymoons
We had an incredible time on our honeymoon to Thailand. It was truly the trip of a lifetime, and we can't thank Renee and her team enough for everything they organized for us. When we first started planning our trip, we didn't know where to begin, and Renee was able to provide so much guidance from hotels to areas of town to activities, it was invaluable information. This was our first time using a travel agent, but with so much of our free time going into planning a wedding, it was so nice to know that Renee had our honeymoon planning covered. She listened to our budget, our priorities, and our preferences, and she found incredible resorts that checked all of our boxes. The activities that she organized were so unique and significantly exceeded our expectations. It was also so comforting to know that if anything came up while we were there, she had contacts in Thailand that could help us resolve any issue (though none came up). I appreciated that she took the time to have a few phone calls with us during the planning process to make sure we were all on the same page. Again, we can't thank Renee and Unforgettable Honeymoons enough for planning the perfect honeymoon for us. -

How did the honeymoon turn out in general?
It was amazing. Everything went so smoothly. We are so grateful to have gone through an agency so we did not have to plan that much. Renee promptly answered all of our questions we had prior to leaving so we would be set up with no hassles.
What did you like best about the resorts you stayed at?
The food and the views, delicious and beautiful. We felt like we were in another world.
Secrets Papagayo - Nayara Gardens
What about the destination(s) in general?
Secrets Papagayo was super relaxing. We loved having it be an all inclusive resort so we could do activities at the resort and have tons of romantic meals together. Our room had a beautiful panoramic view of the water.
Nayara Gardens was absolutely amazing! We loved all the exotic views of the resort, especially our rainforest villa with our own hot spring and view of the volcano! We enjoyed how the plants around our villa made it private. This resort had a lot of wildlife there as well!
The least?
Secrets Papagayo - the resort is on a hilly mountain so we couldn't walk to and from our room, we had to call a van to come and take us to the activities and our meals.
Nayara Gardens - Nothing
Highlight of the honeymoon? ( please tell us about any excursions/day trips?)
Secrets Papagayo was more of our relaxing resort - we went snorkeling, did some crafts, ate, couples massage, nightly shows
Nayara Gardens was relaxing and where we had all of our excursions. We went zip lining in the jungle (the volcano was on one side and Lake Arenal on the other side), horseback riding in the jungle (near the volcano and Lake Arneal), hiking in the jungle to a beautiful waterfall (private tour guide was so nice, he stopped various times on our way there to get out of the car and show us wildlife [a family of howling monkeys, toucans, parrots, vultures, viper in the jungle]), couples massage, hot springs, we hired a professional photographer who took amazing pictures of us, romantic meals
Anything that you wish you knew beforehand that you could pass on to us for future clients?
Do NOT exchange currency - we would have preferred to use our credit card the whole time - the only reason we would have NEEDED cash would have been to tip those waiting on us/transfer drivers.
If you do choose to exchange currency... make sure you look up the exchange rate (the airport and hotel tried to tell us the exchange rate was different than what it was). My husband called them out on it and they matched their price to what the exchange rate states online.
Was our service what you expected?
Yes, it was so helpful. We were definitely feeling decision overload from the wedding so it was so nice to have it be taken care of by a trusted company.
Could we have done more to make your trip smoother?
Honestly, no. We felt very taken care of. -

Renee was wonderful to work with. She provided us with many different options tailored to exactly what WE wanted to do for our honeymoon and shared so much knowledge with us. She had us fill out a very in-depth questionnaire with our budget, activities we wanted to do, food preferences, anything you can think of! From there, she gave us different options to explore and helped us pick the best option for us. We ended up going to Calabash Cove in St. Lucia and the resort was absolutely INCREDIBLE! It was the trip of a lifetime and we will never forget it. She helped arrange transportation to and from the airport, as well as excursions. She gave us lots of helpful tips and advice, even a packing list! She answered every single question we had and made sure we were prepared. There was not one time during our trip that I thought to myself - man I wish I would have thought of that - because Renee thought of everything for us! We are so appreciative of her services. We could not have asked for a better honeymoon. -

We had such a great experience planning our honeymoon with Maryann! We had to postpone twice due to COVID and she was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Even without dealing with COVID, I would highly recommend their services. They made everything so easy and we had someone to go to with all of our little questions. Extremely happy to write a glowing review for Unforgettable Honeymoons, Renee and her team! During our original planning Renee took her time to listen to our wishlist for our dream honeymoon and budget. She immediately recommended two places and gave us in depth details. As we prepared for our wedding and upcoming honeymoon in June 2020, we woke up one morning to COVID19 and everything changed. In an instant our June NJ wedding was no longer just a few months away and every single wedding festivity cancelled. We were also nervous and scared for what would happen to our honeymoon trip! Immediately we reached out to Renee and her team, and instantly, we were put at ease! She assured us that everything could easily be moved and that all we had to do was let her know what our new plan was and she had our back to reschedule our dream honeymoon. The weight that lifted off our shoulders was incredible! We had the most spectacular and most relaxing time The Excellence at Playa Mujeres resort! The food and staff are AMAZING and the rooftop terrace suite with the private pool is beyond worth it! The beach is gorgeous and the entire property and experience is so pampering and luxurious. Club level was the best option as well with the extra level of pampering and private bars, pools and restaurant as well. To say our honeymoon was unforgettable is quite an understatement! Maryann did the best job in coordinating our travel plans and recommending the most perfect resort beyond our expectations that fit our wishlist. Our honeymoon was set for March directly following our wedding but was unfortunately pushed to July and Maryann really helped to take on the stress during that time and made the shift effortless on our part! We had the most unbelievable time in Cancun, Mexico and will definitely be planning to return for an anniversary trip! -

Honeymoon of a Life Time!
WOW. Unico truly is an outstanding resort. Our travel agent at Unforgettable Honeymoons guided us to Unico. At first, I told Leah that we did not want to go to Mexico for our honeymoon. Since our honeymoon was in December, plane tickets to other destination were outrageous. Once I told Leah that we were open to Mexico, her first and only recommendation was Unico. With us a high recommendation, we immediately booked out honeymoon. It was the best decision ever. From the moment we arrived, we were left in awe. The entrance is very discreet but once you enter the lobby, you see the how amazing Unico is. It has such a small boutique feel to it. We went on an excursion and stopped by the Hard Rock to pick up other people. It looked very commercialized. The amenities and the staff at Unico are GREAT! Very attentive and very welcoming. The food at all of the restaurants and even buffets was excellent as well. Overall, it was an amazing honeymoon. We will definitely consider returning to Unico in the future. Unforgettable Honeymoons made our trip perfect and hassle free! -

We are so happy that we chose Unforgettable Honeymoons. We were so busy planning the wedding that we didn't have the time to plan the honeymoon on our own. Leah Macdonald was amazing! She booked our amazing honeymoon to St Lucia this past June and I would highly recommend Unforgettable Honeymoons. We went through Jenna to help us plan our dream honeymoon to Hawaii and was it sure was a dream. From the hotels, to transportation and excursion recommendations, Jenna hit the nail right on the head! For one, it’s free to use their service - and they get you incredible savings on the hotels you use, and pick high quality hotels! We were able to customize each trip to the islands we wanted to see, and every hotel on each trip we were greeted with a sweet note and bottle of wine for fresh fruit which made us feel so special. The staff at each location were always accommodating to our questions, and the hotels were always centrally located so that the main sights were within walking distance! They even give you a personal itinerary with recommendations on beaches and restaurants, they are quick to respond, and follow up with you before and after your trip to make sure everything is taken care of. The service is unparalleled and I will never book a trip without their advice again! Thank you for helping us have the best memories and trips of a lifetime!

Renee takes a lot of her personal time to go into great detail about all of the resort options and provides phenomenal advice. She sent us to Qamea resort and Savasi Island resort. Both were absolutely incredible! The resorts service, rooms, food, romance, and activities were the best of any trip I've ever been on my entire life. They also include several honeymoon prep documents that made it so we didn't even have to think about what to pack or anything for our trip. Planning a wedding and honeymoon is definitely a stressful time, but Unforgettable Honeymoon's made planning the trip stress free. We were able to relax and not worry about a single thing! Unforgettable Honeymoons was just what we needed! Our agent, Leah, was the absolute best! She took our dream honeymoon and turned it into a reality! She made the planning so easy. Everything went perfectly! This was the easiest way to plan a honeymoon and we saved some money along the way! I hope we are allowed to use these services for other trips and not just honeymoons! We went to Punta Cana and it was absolutely beautiful! We had the most amazing room you could imagine! I would go back to the Excellence El Carmen in a heartbeat!

We were there for 8 days and traveled to Kauai and Maui! BEAUTIFUL!!! We had trouble with one of the coupon codes and Jenna was quick to send out another email so we could get our discount. We will definitely try to use again!!!

When I was first working with her, Portland was handed a crazy snow storm and people could barely get to work, but Leah didn’t let that affect her, and was able to work with me in a timely fashion to go over everything and plan the perfect honeymoon for us. We had a great time, and everything was planned out ahead of time by Leah, and went smoothly. We would 100% go through Leah and Unforgettable Honeymoons again for another trip, and I recommend them to everyone who’s traveling!! Thank you again for everything Leah!

Aaron Sent on 10/31/2017We returned from our Unforgettable Honeymoon to St. Lucia a few weeks ago. Had the pleasure of working with Maryann and she made the process so easy, even when we were unsure about where we wanted to stay. After tossing around a few different locations to her and finally settling on St. Lucia, she always made us feel like we were her only client. Responding quickly and always one step ahead of where we were in the planning process. I thought I was a good vacation planner, but without her recommendations and knowledge of the location we chose, we would not have been able to enjoy an experience quite like our honeymoon. With peace of mind throughout the whole planning process and honeymoon, I recommend Maryann for all of your planning needs.
We decided to split our honeymoon between two resorts, Sandals Halcyon Beach and Sugar Beach Resort, and get to see the best of what St. Lucia had to offer. The Sandals resort was on the beach overlooking the ocean and the Sugar Beach resort was between the mountains in the rain forest overlooking the ocean. Maryann surprised us with a chocolate dipped fruit platter while we were on our honeymoon and our room was upgraded at the Sugar Beach resort which I'm guessing she may have had something to do with.
Our honeymoon was a trip of a lifetime and an experience that blew away all of my expectations. The luxury and class of the resorts we stayed at were top notch and I'm not sure I'll be able to go on "normal" vacations after this one. Thank you Unforgettable Honeymoons and thanks a million, Maryann!
