💯 I work in the wedding industry and see a lot of DJs, so my bar was pretty high. When I first saw DJ Ram-Z perform while I was engaged, I went up to him after that wedding and asked if he would DJ our wedding/after party. He’s incredibly talented and his passion for DJing is obvious. He was very easy to work with from day one – great communication, super organized, and he really listened. I shared my vision and a list of songs I liked, and he took that info and built a killer set that felt perfectly “us.” The dance floor was packed all night, and I had multiple guests come up to me afterward to compliment our DJ and ask where we found him. Packed dance floor!
I worked with Ramsey at a wedding recently and he was awesome! He totally had the dance floor packed all night! He played a wide variety of music for the couple all night from pop punk - Gangsta rap and everyone was rockin! He was having a great time as well!U7 Austin DJ's reply:

We cannot recommend Ram-Z enough! From our very first inquiry, Ram-Z was impressively responsive and easy to work with, often replying to our questions within minutes. When wedding planning got stressful, he was a constant source of reassurance, making us feel like everything was under control. Music was our biggest priority, so feeling confident that he would execute the vision no matter what else happened was a huge relief.
He went above and beyond by helping us customize our specific walk-down-the-aisle song, making the ceremony feel so personal. When we had some last-minute schedule changes on the big day, he pivoted seamlessly without missing a beat. Most importantly, he executed our vision perfectly and played exactly what we requested right on cue. He turned our reception into a high-end rave with incredible lights, a smoke machine, and a playlist of all our favorite tracks. Our guests are still talking about how much fun the dancing was, and how they truly felt like they were at a music festival! From the first engagement online, to multiple calls ahead of the wedding, to the wedding day itself, Ramsey and U7 were absolutely fantastic. Ramsey was so open to collaborating on any and all types of music we wanted, was fantastic with lighting the Great Hall at our event (Lady Bird Johnson Center on 11/23/25), provided mics and lapel mics and ensured they worked all night, and generally was just a fantastic person to work with. Thanks for creating a great atmosphere Ramsey, and giving us one of the best DJ/lighting deals in Austin, we can't recommend using U7 enough!U7 Austin DJ's reply:

Ramsey at U7 Austin was absolutely amazing to work with. From the very first message, his communication, kindness, and attention to detail stood out in a way that immediately put me at ease. He didn’t just listen… he genuinely took the time to understand the full vision for our Halloween party and made the entire process feel not only effortless but fun!
On top of delivering a killer set, while my husband and I had our hands full with 200 guests, he went above and beyond by taking the initiative to setup/power the two 12-foot inflatables we were using for the stage. A key detail for the theme that I was not able to get to and would’ve been too late by the time I could. It may seem like a small detail, but it meant the world to me and showed just how much he genuinely cares about his clients and their events. He even dressed in costume for our party!
I can honestly say he’s my forever DJ for any future occasion. You simply won’t find someone who pours more heart, intention, and care into what they do. Highly, highly recommend!U7 Austin DJ's reply:

We hired Ramsey as the DJ for our wedding in Dripping Springs and could not have been happier! Ramsey made the planning process super easy as my wife and I juggled a demanding time at both our jobs, and was able to blend both our musical tastes with some more modern songs to come up with a reception soundtrack that everyone loved. We had a number of our guests come up to us during the reception and comment that our wedding had the best DJ of several weddings they'd been to in the last year. Amazing DJ!!
Hiring U7 DJ was the best decision we would have made for our wedding! They were one of the only vendors I didn’t have to worry about day of, because they were so prepared and we had such good meetings and conversations leading up to the wedding.
Everyone loved the music and the remixes… I don’t think me or my husband left the dance floor once the dancing started! One of my guests said he was so good he should be a DJ in Vegas and another asked me for the information to consider for their wedding at a later date!

Ramsey did such a fabulous job of creating a fun, energetic atmosphere for my daughter's wedding. Our guests had a FABULOUS time! He worked very closely with the brides to create an evening that reflected their personalities and wishes for the wedding reception of their dreams. He is a master of his craft and a true artist. Additionally, my friends and I planned a surprise Mom Dance (a la Mama Mia) for the reception, and Ramsey was extraordinarily kind and accommodating in helping us pull it off. Ramsey was such a delight to work with. You can really tell he enjoys what he does and he kept the party flowing the whole night. I am still having people rave to me about how fun everything was at the reception. His survey he includes to know what kind of music you want and when was so thorough. I really enjoyed that I opted in to do remixes of songs as well - it kept things familiar but also fresh because the beat would change unexpectedly or have some variations to it. We got married this past September and had Ramsey as our DJ. When we were interviewing DJs we had criteria for what we wanted in a DJ and Ramsey met it al. Leading up to the wedding, he was super communicative and shared ideas to help us bring it all to life. I could not imagine using anyone else for our wedding, he made it fun and did such an awesome job with the music. At some point one of our guests said "oooh is this Miley Cyrus with some cumbia mixed in" it was the perfect blend of our two cultures. And he did a great job working with us to incorporate some special dances towards the end of the night, including la Vibora de la mar (Mexican snake dance). Highly Recommend
DJ Ram-Z with U7 Austin DJ was the best. He was quick to resolve any issues that came his way with the venue space, was communicative throughout the pre-wedding process, listened to our input on playlists, and kept everyone dancing all night long. It was clear he was reading the room as we went along throughout the event and tailoring the music to what the crowd was responding to most, which made for an AMAZING time. The DJ was the MOST important vendor for our wedding - we really wanted to have an epic dance party. Ramsey (U7 Austin DJ) was PERFECT for the job! From our first conversation with him, we knew he had the "vibe" we were looking for. My husband is very into metal music but since that is not exactly dance music for most people, we decided to play instrumental covers of metal songs during cocktail hour and dinner, which was so fun! (And we got so many compliments!). We completed his questionnaire and had an in-depth consultation with him beforehand so he knew exactly what we wanted, and he really delivered in every single way. We had a few unique requests that he nailed, like having a mini pop punk segment, and playing a shortened version of our first dance song (Metallica's Nothing Else Matters), but also told him we wanted "Millennial Bangers" and lots of songs to dance along to. There was truly not a single dud - every song was a hit. He did both the ceremony and reception music for us at the Hummingbird House and the ceremony music/audio was also wonderful. He was flexible and patient about last minute changes, he had high energy and absolutely crushed it when the dance floor opened up. We could not believe how above and beyond Ramsey went for us on our wedding night! Perhaps we should have known tho, he provided us with a very detailed questionnaire and checked in on us throughout the planning process. He even helped put together a beautiful song for everyone to walk down the aisle too. He was key in helping out night run so smooth, was an excellent MC and kept everyone dancing all night! We would recommend him 100 times over !
He was also incredibly professional and collaborated with our photographer throughout the night. Made sure he had all the details of the venue and had a beautiful set up!

My wife and I got married back in May and Ramsey did an excellent job and was a solid MC! From the beginning he was very accommodating and attentive to our needs, even going through a very thorough pre-wedding checklist with us to make sure he took our preferences into account. The song choices were excellent, and Ramsey overall brought a positive energy to both the ceremony and reception that many of our guests enjoyed! A wedding DJ who knows how to throw a party!!!
I cannot say enough about how essential DJ Mikka was to making our wedding what it was! I still receive compliment after compliment about how fun the reception was and how they had never had a wedding DJ throw such a party. DJ Mikka was easily one of our favorite vendors! He was great to work with, delivered every one of my requests, and even went out of his way to invite my 7 year old cousin (who dreams of being a DJ) up to jam with him. Let’s be honest here. Ramsey with U7 is the best, by far one of my favorite wedding vendors. He kept the event flowing and everyone on track with their speeches lol. I swear we needed a bigger dance floor though, he had the whole family dancing all night.
His online questionnaire is easy to use and makes it easy to pick songs for all of your big moments. My husband and I had a blast playing music and planning with his guidelines.
U7 and Ramsey were easy to work with and stood by our contract even after we told him just a few weeks before the wedding that my husbands unit was possibly going to be activated, and we may have to postpone the wedding. He kept working with my husband and I, staying positive when many of our other vendors did not. He wasn’t afraid of a light drizzle before our outdoor ceremony and accommodated our last minute venue change to an indoor location for the reception.
I highly recommend Ramsey and have already referred him for another event.U7 Austin DJ's reply:

We originally hired a band for our wedding but they ended up falling through at the last minute. So we decided to give Under 7 Productions a shot. Boy, are we glad we did! The Dj we worked with was professional, polite and kept the dance floor hopping all night long. By the end of our wedding, my in-laws, wife, and I were a sweaty mess and a month later, our friends are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding! I submitted a very detailed list of all music for ceremony & reception and indicated when to play which tunes in which alot of time was didicated to ensure everything was in order. We also had a lengthy phone meeting a few days prior going over everything for day of which was thorough. Come wedding day the ceremony music was perfect and on point, no complaints there. However, once the reception started and the dancefloor opened up the music took a downward turn. The majority of the songs I submitted for dancing were simply not played. More specifically group dancing songs like: The Wobble, Cupid Shuffle, etc. I was satisfied at the time but thinking back I would have loved to had these songs played because I know it would have brought more life to the dancefloor and engaged the younger crowd to get out there.
