When we found Uncloudy Studios, we were feeling so underwater with our wedding budget, like we had vastly underestimated the costs of everything, and that there was no way we'd be able to bring our vision to life. Enter Jolie, who immediately presented herself with the confidence and ease of a true professional, willing to work her magic no matter what our budget looked like. I wanted a look that was late summer wild, carefree, and colorful, and felt right at home in the outdoor environment of our wedding venue, and she immediately understood the vision. Every chat with her she presented many different options, and also spoke from experience of how our limited budget money would be best spent. I also really appreciated her dedication to sustainability, working with local flower vendors and helping us find the best flowers in season that would work with our vision. And best of all, on the day, everything looked more beautiful than we could've imagined. We had SO SO many complements on our flowers from guests! My bouquet was PERFECT and I am getting it pressed as we speak so I can treasure it forever. After researching multiple florists for our DC wedding, we are so, so thrilled to have hired Jolie. From our very first call to our walk-through and the wedding day itself, she completely understood our vision and was so kind (despite our complete ignorance about flowers). Stunning Flowers and A Gem of a Florist
Jolie is a true artist and created the most beautiful florals for our wedding at Strathmore Mansion on 10/5/2024. As a lover of florals, she and I connected from the very beginning. She so easily understood my vision & budget, was easy to talk to, very communicative, and made the process seamless from our first meeting to our wedding day. She was so flexible, allowing me to incorporate my vintage milk glass vase decor into the floral plan. She created the most beautiful, fresh, colorful, and seasonal arrangements (from my bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, grounded ceremony arrangements, bud vases galore, and the most stunning fireplace mantel meadow I have ever seen). She helped us refine our ideas, always coming up with thoughtful suggestions while being respectful of our choices every step of the way.
Our planning process with Jolie was smooth and enjoyable, thanks to her pleasant and organized approach. In the months leading up to the wedding, she was thorough yet never overly complicated, keeping things clear and straightforward. The planning phone calls were perfectly balanced—just enough to ensure everything was sorted without adding unnecessary stress. Jolie even went above and beyond by attending our venue walk-through and doing additional site visits on her own to make sure every detail would be perfect.
On the wedding day, Jolie delivered beautiful personal bouquets, and our venue set up far exceeded our expectations. It was perfect!
Jolie gave us our vision for the wedding. We are not "flower people" and had no idea going in what we wanted other than "some greenery". She found the perfect combinations of colors and plants that gave our "woodsy" wedding a rustic but polished feel. She also showed us how to reuse pieces throughout the night which saved us money and reduced our waste. When it came to the day of the ceremony, Jolie and her team were punctual, efficient, and all smiles. And the flowers themselves turned out stunning. I had many calls with "big name" DC wedding florists prior to finding Jolie - as soon as I talked to her, it was a no brainer in my book. I had a GREAT experience working with Jolie from Uncloudy Studio. Uncloudy Studio/Jolie came recommended from my venue, and I am so happy I chose to work with her. Even though my wedding was very small & intimate (only 18 guests!), Jolie made me feel special and taken care of from day 1. I had a specific budget that I wanted to work within, and Jolie was great about giving me options to choose from, and suggesting ways to reuse ceremony & reception florals to stay within my budget. Not once did I feel pressured into any decisions. Jolie was extremely communicative throughout the whole process - she was so down-to-earth, kind, and easy to chat with. And the flowers!! They were GORGEOUS! My family kept raving about how beautiful our ceremony flowers were, and my friends continue to talk about how pretty my bouquet is in all our pictures. I cannot put into words how thankful I am for Jolie and the Uncloudy Studio. I met Jolie a few years ago when I saw her Instagram post about needing some assistants to help with upcoming weddings. After working with Jolie on a few weddings, I knew that she had to do my own wedding flowers because of the way she cares about each of her couples. I saw first hand how hard Jolie works to make her client's dreams come true, but it was the way Jolie goes above and beyond for her clients that really sealed the deal for me and my husband. I have seen Jolie step in to be a wedding coordinator and help direct other vendors when there was some set up chaos and I have seen Jolie defend the wishes of the couples when family or friends try to push their own ideas. Jolie made the wedding planning process so easy for me and my husband. She provided pictures, options, different price points, and helpful suggestions during our venue walk through. Jolie even stepped in last minute to provide flowers for our rehearsal dinner. I sent pictures of the space to Jolie and told her we trusted her to do whatever she thought was best for the space and she completely nailed it. Jolie was absolutely wonderful to work with. She and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding beautiful and so special. My father had planted some flowers for my wedding to use for the escort table. By the time of the wedding they were not doing so well and many would be unusable. We were about to scrap the idea all together but Jolie said she still wanted to make it happen. She was able to incorporate some of my dad’s flowers into the display. The end result was gorgeous and meant so much to me.
One of the most helpful things Jolie did was to help us understand and offer several options from high to low for every arrangement. She also provided us with suggestions on how we could repurpose flowers from the ceremony and use them at the reception. 100% recommend. She is the best!

I hired Jolie and Uncloudy Studio for our 50-person restaurant/patio wedding. Throughout the process -- starting with the first consult -- I knew I could trust Jolie to handle this really important part of the day, fulfilling my partner's and my wishes (and tastes) while guiding me through decisionmaking and helping me figure out what would work best for the space and an event of our scale. She looked through my haphazardly-curated Pinterest boards and figured out the common theme; she studied the photos and floorplans I sent from the venue; she gave me different options and price points to choose from (and suggested what could be repurposed where); she nudged me when it was time to make decisions; and she unilaterally coordinated with my day-of planner to make sure all of the delivery and set-up details were settled. And best of all, all of the flowers were absolutely gorgeous (and classy!). Don't hesitate -- bringing Jolie on board will make this aspect of your event stress-free and beautiful.

Jolie from Uncloudy Studios was such a gem to work with - I am so glad we found her! She did the flowers for our mini wedding during the height of COVID pandemic, and she also did our flowers for our recent reception after 1 year together! We had some last minute family health issues, so the number of corsages changed every few days for the last several weeks leading up to the wedding, and Jolie was so understanding and flexible. She was willing to work with us and did an absolutely outstanding job. The flowers were more beautiful than I ever could have hoped for, and she even remembered (two years later due to postponing because of the pandemic) a random, obscure flower I mentioned liking and incorporated it into the bridal party's bouquets!

I cannot recommend Jolie highly enough. When researching florists for our wedding, I felt completely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of options that didn’t feel like me or had $5000 minimums. The instant I connected with Jolie, I felt at ease- she pulled up photos of our venue and was overflowing with creative ideas on what we could do with the space. Jolie sent a thoughtful proposal with tiered options for different price points, which allowed me to pick areas to splurge in and decide where to scale back.
Upon seeing my bouquet for the first time, I was completely blown away. Jolie created the most gorgeous arrangements- I almost couldn’t believe they were for me! Several guests commented that the flowers were the most unexpected, stunning arrangements they had ever seen. If you don’t have a super strong vision on what you want, please trust her to create something beautiful and seasonal. She has an amazing gift!
The price of the vases were included with the flowers, so we were able to take everything home and reuse the flowers for another wedding event the next day. Please book Jolie- you will have an incredible experience.

Jolie was truly a joy to work with and created the perfect flowers for our wedding. She is a true artist. Our venue had multiple amazing mantels that we wanted to highlight and she did not disappoint. The flower decor on the ceremony mantel was truly a show stopper. She was extremely easy to work with, kept in touch, and was very flexible in rescheduling our wedding due to COVID. Beautiful flowers!
We hired Uncloudy Studios for our wedding. We wanted more greenery for our wedding with some simple flowers, and she created beautiful displays, decorations for our tables, and bouquets! We would definitely recommend.

I had a microwedding to celebrate my husband and my 20th wedding anniversary and we used Jolie for me and my daughter’s bouquet and boutonnières for my husband, my two boys and mom. Jolie was wonderful to work with, responsive to my questions and the flowers were gorgeous and worked so well with my color scheme! I highly recommend her!

Jolie brought a vision I didn’t even know I had to life! I asked for a flare of red and she delivered and all of my flowers were perfect. I got so many compliments on the flowers. Additionally, she was so accommodating with our ever changing plans due to covid and very flexible which was a plus and my deciding factor when booking!

Jody was so easy to work with- from brainstorming to doing the florals everything was PERFECT! She nailed our vision and kept everything so detailed and in line with our plan. Gorgeous micro-wedding flowers
When we originally contacted Jolie, we had planned a large wedding at a venue in DC. When COVID hit, our plans necessarily changed. But throughout all of our backup planning, Jolie was incredibly kind, flexible, and helpful. In the end, we had a micro-wedding on our rooftop in Baltimore, and the floral arrangements made the event so beautiful. My bouquet was stunning, and the greenery arch that we used to define the wedding space was perfect. We did have an adventure with a gust of wind, but Jolie's work was so fantastically secured that the greenery barely moved! Overall, we had an excellent experience, and would definitely recommend her services to a friend.

Creative, Responsive, and Fabulous!
Jolie of Uncloudy Studio was recommended to us through our wedding planner and it made a stressful planning pivot easier. We met a few florists but Jolie was the one who could take our vague ideas and turn them into a proposal that really got our style and aesthetic without any tweaking. When we had to change venues, and really everything, due to COVID, she made it so easy to tweak the contract and plan around the new location. She was always open to a conversation, sharing ideas, and very transparent with pricing. Her proposals also included different pricing options. We were so happy with everything she provided, her level of service was superb and she is clearly gifted with what she does. We couldn't recommend her more! In fact, we plan on using her for our wedding reception in 2022, so you know we are serious.

Jolie was so easy to work with! We decided early on that flowers would not be a huge part of our budget and it ended up being one of the last items of our to-do list. I really wanted to invest in bouquets for me and the bridesmaids as well as boutonnières. Jolie helped provide ideas at different budget options, making it easy to understand exactly what we'd be getting and helping to bring our vision to life! We got so many compliments at the wedding on the flowers. The special hair comb she made for me was one of the highlights of my day - I wore it to our afterparty AND the next day. I can't recommend Jolie and Uncloudy Studio enough!

Better than I could have even imagined!
We had the best experience working with Jolie! She was the first florist I spoke to who was willing to embrace my vision to step outside of the box and stray away from the traditional three color scheme. I asked her to use sunset colors with a pop of blue, and all of her arrangements were more than I could have even imagined! I got so many compliments on my bouquet and the arrangements she created, and she totally figured out a way for me to repurpose my bouquet as the bar centerpiece at our reception. Since we paid for everything for our wedding ourselves, Jolie found a way to help me capture my champagne taste on a beer budget. I would highly, highly recommend Jolie and Uncloudy Studio for all your floral needs!!

Perfect Fall Flowers
Jolie did an incredible job capturing the look we wanted with a lot of allergy restrictions. My mom in particular has very severe allergies, so I wanted to be sure that there weren't a lot of fragrant flowers, or plants that would cause her to have trouble breathing. Jolie did a great job capturing our fall look, while avoiding roses and eucalyptus, and other plants that might have caused problems. I also wanted to use gourds, pumpkins, and mums in our decor and she absolutely nailed it!
Going above and beyond, I told her how many kids would be attending and asked if she would pick out some pumpkins sized for the kids to decorate and she not only picked out perfect pumpkins for them, she also helped me find some great stick on (no-mess) decorating kits. The kids had the BEST time decorating the pumpkins (and themselves).
My bouquet was exactly what I had hoped for, great oranges, wild foliage, and incorporated my favorite flowers (gerbera daisies).

I wish I could give Jolie a 5,000-star rating! She was an absolute joy to work with, and the flowers at our wedding exceeded anything we could have envisioned. The moment we met her, we knew it was a perfect match. (She even brought me a small bouquet at our first meeting.) I can’t stop smiling thinking about how stunning everything was. Jolie perfectly captured our vision and made our venue utterly spectacular with her attention to detail, color, composition, and texture. Standing under the gorgeous chuppah she designed was an incredible experience, and I never wanted to put down my bouquet. Jolie's work blew me away on my wedding day, and I can't wait to recommend her to all of my friends who get married in the DC area. If you are thinking about Uncloudy Studio for your wedding florist, just go ahead and book with Jolie. She is so sweet, and really goes out of her way to make sure brides are happy. You can tell she has a passion for the flowers she works with, and it shows! Flowers were one of the things I was most excited about for the wedding, and Jolie delivered. They were so gorgeous and exactly what i had in mind. She was very flexible with options and made several suggestions to help keep things within my budget. Also, Jolie KNOWS her venues. I got married at the Josephine Butler Parks Center, and in the first consultation call, she immediately knew the size of the garlands needed, and was able to give me a few examples of things she worked there. For our first consultation she met me near my office When I realized most of my favorite flowers would be out of season at the time of my wedding, she helped me become a flower expert and select flowers that gave me the look I was going for.
When the wedding day rolled around I could not believe how gorgeous all of the bouquets were. Everyone kept commenting on the composition and how beautiful and large the dahlias were! The table arrangements were also on point. Not to big and elegant.
All in all she provided bouquets for my four bridesmaids, boutonnieres for groomsmen and family, a crown for the flower girl, 19 table bouquets and flowers for the cake. I don't know how one person could do all of that but everything was perfect.
I would highly recommend working with Jolie to ensure that your wedding flowers are top notch!

Jolie was a bride's dream come true. From the first time we met, down to the very last hour of our wedding...she did not disappoint. When we set up our first meeting, she even came to meet me (which most florist do not do) and brought me a cute little tulip bouquet which I thought was such a thoughtful thing to do. We were off to a great start. I had her meet with my MIL (the flower expert) and Jolie passed with flying colors. Throughout the entire process, she was very attentive and made sure that I was happy with all of the ideas and costs. She suggested great ideas, like using mine and my bridesmaids bouquet as the centerpieces for the tables! I wish I could share photos on Wedding Wire because the flowers turned out breathtaking. She knocked it out of the park and then some. Everyone RAVED about my wedding flowers. My bouquet was freaking gorgeous. I mean, better than I had ever imagined. I also wanted a wreath to hang on our alter canopy, which also turned out better than I had expected. It was so beautiful. Not only was she a talented florist, but she was organized and SO THOROUGH. I never had to worry about anything with Jolie. To top it off, my MIL was beyond impressed and she had pretty high expectations. I just can't thank Jolie enough and would recommend her 100000000%!!!

Three weeks after our wedding, I am still beaming from the amazing flowers that Jolie created for us. Jolie was definitely one of my favorite vendors that we worked with. From the first meeting where she brought me a sample bouquet and my original ideas were NOTHING that I actually settled on, Jolie was completely warm, welcoming and professional. I booked her very shortly after our first meeting. As our conversations and Pinterest boards continued, I got more and more focused and bold with my decisions. Her suggestion that our wedding could be "industrial chic" completely shifted my focus from traditional white flowers to what I really wanted - bold greenery, pops of color, crazy wildflowers and a stunning garland backdrop for our ceremony. Jolie wasn't only completely on board with these ideas, but was EXCITED. It was so inspiring to me and my husband that her enthusiasm for her work shined through, and it really allowed us to feel comfortable with our decisions. I literally cried when Jolie dropped off my stunning bouquet, it was THAT beautiful (and continues to be as it hangs drying in a closet for us to enjoy in years to come!). Our pictures turned out beautifully, partially in thanks to our amazing photographers, but also due to Jolie's attention to detail and perfect execution of our vision. Book Jolie immediately! Jolie is an absolute pro! Floral arrangements was one of the parts of wedding planning that I didn't have strong opinions on. I had some sense of my colors and arrangements that I liked from pinterest, but I wasn't really able to articulate a vision. After sitting down with Jolie, showing her my pins, and talking about my wedding, she came back to me a day or two later with a proposal that perfectly matched what I was looking for and fit within our budget. We didn't need to have a ton of back and forth because I loved the outline she put together and I trusted her instincts and experience. My bouquet was gorgeous and the bridemaids bouquets were gorgeous and looked amazing in all the photos. I also got a ton of compliments on the centerpieces - they were colorful and unique and people really liked them. And the day of the wedding, I didn't need to worry about any of this, because Jolie just got the job done. I was really really happy with my wedding flowers and would recommend Jolie to anyone.

It's the day after my wedding and I'm posting a review - that's how thrilled and overjoyed I was with my flowers! She was the only florist that we interviewed who brought us a sample flower bouquet to our meeting as a gift for meeting with her. I am hard to please and Jolie met and FAR exceeded my expectations. She had provided flowers for a friend of mine who raved about her so I decided to give it a go. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted and am not a very artistic person. I found examples of things I liked on pinterest and Jolie worked with me to create the perfect floral plan for my wedding. She was extremely professional in responding to emails, her billing system was easy, and I totally knew what to expect pricewise. Jolie went above and beyond by working with my other vendors to make sure everything would tie perfectly to the other details of my wedding. Beyond all this, Jolie is extremely gifted at what she does. I didn't even know I liked flowers until I saw the flowers she designed for my wedding. When I first saw them they were even prettier than I could have imagined. The photographer had to force me to put down my bouquet because I didn't want to let them go. Jolie is extremely reliable, professional, and provides exactly what you want at very reasonable prices for the DC area.

My first impression was when she came to meet me near my office rather than making me travel to meet her, and even brought a little bouquet of beautiful yellow tulips stylishly presented in a burlap wrap. She listened carefully to my vision, and I'm sure it helped that we share a similar aesthetic of a more natural, less "perfect" look for floral arrangements.
Jolie created a shared Pinterest board so we could exchange visual ideas/examples, and then worked up a quote with three options for me, with example photos of each option. I found this approach to be very helpful in my decision-making process and in making sure we were on the same page.
I only had Jolie do my bridal bouquet and a large arrangement for the altar, but I was thrilled with each – they were gorgeous! And the flowers she used were even nicer than I expected. She is well worth her prices, and helpfully flexible.
And the cherry on top is that Jolie is located in Washington, DC proper. Support local, independent DC vendors and hire Uncloudy Studio!

Her prompt responses, suggestions and flexibility enabled me to work with her over the phone, a convenience for me, and I found her prices to be very reasonable. You'll notice on her website that she offers many flower and greens options beyond traditional choices. Her arrangements for me were contrasts of texture, color, flowers and space. Notwithstanding the snow and ice storm, Jolie delivered the flowers on time, lending their warmth and elegance to our event. I was a bit overwhelmed by the choosing of flowers for the bouquets and she took the information i provided with what I liked vs not, the colors of the wedding, and the venue and gave great feedback. I was so very pleased with the bouquets. They suited the wedding (and the wedding party) perfectly. My bouquet even brought in the colors of my Mom's dress and father's tie, something I didn't even notice until looking at the pictures. I had a very unique experience with my wedding in that I was on deployment for seven months prior to it. Jolie made the process so much easier in being so flexible and helpful. She is such an awesome person to work with and I'm definitely recommending her to anyone I know getting married in the DC area. She is so sweet and very professional. My flowers turned out beyond anything I could have imagined. The flowers were the only decorations we had at the reception and Jolie made it so magical. I don't even know where to begin! Jolie was so wonderful - she made our wedding more beautiful than I could have imagined. I originally planned to DIY our wedding flowers with flowers from whole foods, and as our wedding got closer the idea made me more and more anxious. With two weeks to go, I contacted Jolie in a panic, hoping she could help us, and she was free! I told her my aesthetic and she created a pinterest board for us to use for inspiration. She nailed the unkempt romantic look I wanted. My bouquet was possibly the most beautiful I have ever seen. Jolie also did an amazing job with a garland I envisioned down our head table, and with the centerpieces. She was also flexible and helped us stay in budget. I loved working with Jolie so much I don't think I can recommend Uncloudy Studio highly enough. When we had our first meeting I wasn't too sure what I wanted, but Jolie asked me lots of questions that helped me to articulate what I wanted - she picked right up on the themes in what I was describing and then helped me to develop my vision. We clicked right away and were on the same page with flowers, colors, vases, number of arrangements per table, etc. She knew exactly what I meant when I told her that for vases I wanted not shabby chic but "rich people's old stuff." She's hugely professional and a joy to work with. She's the kind of person who you can trust to point you in a different direction, if for example you suggest something that is going to look objectively ugly or be a bit of a waste money-wise when something else might have the same effect, etc. And my flowers were AMAZING. Amazing. I was thrilled when I saw it all come together on my wedding day. I'm tearing up thinking about how happy I was. My husband almost had to pry the bouquet from my hand because it was so gorgeous and perfect. I can't get over the photos of the centerpieces - we did a series of small arrangements, each one a little bit different, with different numbers of small vases per table. They were so stunning I am still hearing compliments.

It is hard to put into words how pleased I was with the incredible flowers Jolie put together for my wedding. I already had a good feeling about her before our consultation because I loved her aesthetic, but she was so friendly and warm, and I didn't have to do a ton of work explaining what I wanted - she just GOT it. She was also conscious of our budget and really stretched every dollar to maximize what she could offer us. The final look was lush, organic, and so, so dreamy. So many wedding guests commented on my bouquet and table arrangements, and my wife loved her boutonniere. I was so in love with my bouquet that I actually took it with me on the plane to enjoy on my honeymoon, and it lasted all week!
All said, Jolie was such a pleasure to work with, and I was thrilled with all of the floral pieces. I'd happily recommend her services to any potential bride!

Jolie was fantastic! Out of all the vendors we worked with for our wedding, she was certainly one of the best. She is incredibly passionate about floral design and makes sure that the couples she works with have exactly what they want. From our first meeting with her we immediately knew we wanted to work with her and didn't consider anyone else, that's how strongly her dedication and passion shows. She was incredibly patient with us as we made numerous changes to our initial vision. She attended our venue walk-through to help us decide where we wanted flowers and what made the most sense for our space. She also guided us through the entire process, was conscious of our budget, and suggested ways that we could get more "bang for our buck." This was incredibly important to us--as we planned our wedding we had constant "sticker shock" with the cost of many of the elements of our wedding. With Jolie, however, she was so conscious of this throughout and did everything in her power to ensure that, given our budget, she would still get us as close to what we wanted as possible. The flowers were so gorgeous, incredibly fresh, and lasted a good week after our wedding (we made a point to take them all home with us after the wedding, that's how much we loved them). We cannot recommend Jolie and Uncloudy Studio highly enough.

Jolie was wonderful to work with. When I was showing my parents our venue, we happened to be there when she was setting up the tables. She gave me her card and we were meeting up a couple weeks later. She had great ideas and was able to translate my ideas into reality. I loved that she used a pinterest board where we could both add ideas and comment on pictures. She met with me multiple times and was very responsive on email. There was a little miscommunication about the number of boutonnieres we needed and she whipped one up within minutes. My only negative is that I wish that a sample centerpiece was included or at least available for less than the cost of the official centerpieces. While I was happy to spend it because I need to see something to understand dimensions, etc., I feel like a sample/mockup be included in the cost because flowers are something so important that it is a little stressful to not know exactly what they are going to look like until the day of. But overall, I thought she was definitely reasonably priced and offered a great product.

A few friends joined me during my first meeting with Jolie, and we all knew within minutes that she was "the one". I had no idea what I wanted, so we went through several books together, tossed around various ideas and she recommended flowers that were in season to cut down on cost. She also asked that I provide her with a swatch of fabric from the bridesmaid dresses and advise of any colors I was using in the wedding to ensure that the flowers went well together. Jolie really understood my vision and I was very pleased with the final outcome. She has a great eye for design/detail and uses only the highest quality flowers. My bouquet took quite a beating throughout the wedding day and still looked just as fresh the next day as it did the morning of. I am ecstatic to be able to recommend Jolie. She is truly an amazing floral designer!

Flowers for October Wedding
Jolie at Uncloudy Studios was wonderful to work with, very detail oriented, communicative, flexible and kind. We didn't have a great idea of what we wanted for our flowers (except my bouquet), so she walked us through every step of the way. I loved the way our flowers turned out, especially my bouquet, which had my favorite flower (orchids!) prominently featured! We decided on greenery for decoration and small bouquets at all of our guests tables. Everything was beautiful and perfectly matched everything for our big day!

Jolie was great. We had chatted with her when we were originally looking for a florist but ended up going with someone else for budget reasons. That florist ended up falling through so we reached out to Jolie a few months before our wedding and she was beyond gracious and kind. She was easy to work with, went with our vision and offered suggestions when we didn't know what would be best - and the flowers she provided were absolutely lovely and smelled so so good!
