Nancy, our officiant for our wedding at the Washington State Capitol, provided exceptional service. During our initial Zoom meeting, she kindly created a timeline plan, outlining the ceremony’s structure and her experience at the venue, including the ambiance and lighting. Although we hadn’t decided to hire her at the time, she was incredibly accommodating and easy to reach via email, always responding within a day or less. Once we made the decision to book her, she scheduled a follow-up meeting with both my fiancé and me to discuss our preferences. Nancy is incredibly sweet and passionate about our love story, as she sent us questions to help us craft a meaningful ceremony. On the wedding day, she arrived early and meticulously reviewed all the details with us. Her professionalism and attention to detail made us feel incredibly grateful to have her officiating our special day.Ultimate Wedding Ceremonies's reply:

My wife and I were bailed on by our officiant two days before our wedding, and we found Nancy on WeddingWire. Nancy replied within a couple of hours and immediately helped us plan out the entire ceremony process. She even drove 4 hours each way for us, which was very kind of her. The ceremony went exactly as everything we wanted, and I cannot imagine what would have happened without her! -

We started planning our wedding about 2 months before the official date. When I was searching for officiant, I found Nancy's profile and would like to connect. She responded so quickly and we planned a vibe check in 1 week. The vibe check went well - she learnt a little more about how the wedding looks like, and what we needed. She also explained the pricing to us. After that, she shared 2 sample scripts she has done before, which really matches our background. So we decided to move on with her.
During her preparation, we talked about the concern that our parents do not speak English. She has experience with it, and confirmed that she can prepare a translated draft to my bridesmaid so she can help further improve it, and act as a translator. Nancy also spent time connecting with my bridesmaid to go through all the process.
At the day of wedding, she arrived early, and checked in with my bridesmaid. She was sooo nice to greet to each guest before the ceremony started. We truly loved how she put our stories together, based on the questionnaire she sent to us about 3 weeks ago. The ceremony went on so smoothly!
I would highly recommend Nancy as an officiant, especially if you are not native. She will consider those needs at the first place so you don't need to worry about it. Her words are so warm and touching. And last but not least, her service charge is transparent and very reasonable.Ultimate Wedding Ceremonies's reply:

Can never thank you enough🩷
Nancy was truly amazing, I will be grateful to her forever. Our wedding was an unconventional one, speedily planned, for good reason. The date was set for August 31st 2025, and we began planning it in late May 2025 due to my grandmothers declining health. Nancy put all our anxiety at ease each time we spoke with her. I felt an immediate weight off my shoulders with her presence. And thats saying something because Im quite the worry wart!
The day came, it went better than I could have expected, Nancy told our love story beautifully and included a little tidbit celebrating my gma who thankfully made it there. (she was in the hospital a day prior and we were scared she wouldnt make it to the wedding) Despite my gmas dementia, the cermony stuck with her, she boasted about it for days afterwards how romantic and lovely Nancy made it. She would recite bits and tear up with how heartfelt it was.
She passed exactly a week after the wedding. Nancy made our day unforgettable. Thank you, always. -

Nancy was amazing from the second we hired her for our wedding. She made the whole process so easy and was so kind and supportive. I love the questionnaires she sent to us and our family and used that to create our very unique love story and was a surprise till the ceremony. It made our ceremony so special and nothing like anyone has seen before they said. It was so special and so in tune to us and our story. Something I'll never forget.
Nancy was even so patient and understanding when we had some of the wedding party running late to rehearsal. I'll forever recommend Nancy for any officiant needs. So thankful she was part of our dayUltimate Wedding Ceremonies's reply:
