Tyler was probably our favorite vendor for our entire wedding. He advertises himself as being a photographer who can capture a story line with just pictures and so we felt comfortable not having videography for our wedding. After seeing the photos, we don’t regret not having videography one bit. The pictures were perfect and his company was so much fun. He spent a good chunk of time getting to know us as a couple before the wedding and it felt like he was able to capture our essence. 1000000% recommend. -

I have so many incredible things to say about our experience with Tyler Gets Weird, so I’ll start with this: hiring Tyler to document our wedding was the best decision we made, and truly one of the most important. From our initial onboarding call, to bringing our vision to life for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day, to the final photos and video we received, every step of the process was handled with exceptional professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
Tyler is incredibly talented, organized, and an absolute joy to work with. He knows how to keep things moving, take charge when needed, and effortlessly wrangle friends and family for photos, all while keeping the experience fun, relaxed, and enjoyable. Having someone like Tyler leading the way on such an important day made all the difference.
We also had Tyler and his team capture our wedding video, and it is the perfect representation and memory of our day. The photos and video are beyond stunning and everything we could have hoped for and more. We will cherish them forever.

Tyler is literally the best and a life saver. Naturally I waited till the last minute to fine a photographer but tyler saved the day. me and my husband are definitely awkward for photos by tyler made us super comfortable by cracking jokes and being weird. our engagement+wedding photos came out exactly how i imagined them and came back to us quickly. tyler is a great communicator and won't leave you thinking you have been forgotten and is honestly one of the coolest people i know🥂
The photos were great quality for the price, couldn't have been better. there are diffrent packages to meet everyone's budget. tyler was amazing, especially during the wedding. we only had him for a short time and he was very organized to make sure we got the best experience! -

Tyler did my videography for my wedding last December, and I cannot say enough about how amazing he is. He was so fun and funny, and no part of it felt like we had to rush or stage anything. It was all so natural and comfortable. It may sound funny, but I genuinely think about him and his work all of the time and am still in awe when I think back to my wedding day. He's not just a videographer. He played such a crucial role in the entire day while also allowing me to forget he was even there at all. It was more like having a friend around, to be honest. And he pays ATTENTION TO DETAIL. Not only in his video, but through the whole morning, he was the only person who realized that not one of the buttons on my dress were buttoned before going down the aisle and he helped us get them buttoned up quick! He also bustled all 6 bustles that my dress had in like 30 seconds. Like cmon!!! That's someone who goes so above and beyond. And obviously, his video was INCREDIBLE. He took the time to talk with me about my vision and brought it to life in such a unique way. He really is the best. Would recommend to anyone. -

I truly cannot say enough about the phenomenal job Tyler did photographing our wedding. From the first consultation through the editing timeline after the wedding, Tyler was prompt, responsive, professional, and just an overall joy to communicate with. Not to mention the fact that he is a profoundly talented photographer. On the day of the wedding, he managed to be everywhere at once - somehow capturing every special moment of the day while simultaneously directing everyone to where they should be, and all the while managing to provide the perfect amount of support my wife and I needed to stay sane and allow us to fully enjoy the best day of our lives. I told him our only regret is hiring him before all the other vendors because he set the bar unattainably high. I’m telling you, do yourself a favor and get weird with Tyler. I promise you won’t regret it. -

Tyler photographed our engagement photos in St. Augustine, and we are absolutely in love with them! I want to thank Tyler for being so patient and supportive. We loved all our wedding vendors, but Tyler takes the prize for our favorite! From the first phone call it was obvious that Tyler really strives to understand his clients’ personalities so that he can factor that in to how he captures your day. We wanted “fly on the wall” style photography and he delivered by being low key but also exactly where he was needed at every moment. He’s also willing to try out new things and did a quirky camcorder style video for us, so don’t be afraid to ask him to branch out from what’s typical. His personality makes him fun and easy to work with, and we got countless compliments from wedding guests on how much they loved our photo/video team, both at the wedding and after once we got everything back!
Tyler is hilarious, delivers beautiful photos/video with a fast turnaround, and will literally dive into the bushes for you to get the perfect shot. Definitely book him for your wedding photo/video needs!!! -

But what makes Tyler truly stand out is his personality. From the start, he brought such a fun and light energy to everything, especially during our over-the-top engagement shoot! We’ve never laughed more than we did with Tyler! Our family and friends still talk about how amazing he was. His hilarious and positive personality made everyone feel at ease and brought so much joy to the day. He became more than a photographer—he became a friend who helped shape one of the most important days of our lives.

I could not recommend Tyler ENOUGH!
Tyler was an exceptional photographer in more ways that one! My main expectation was that I would have a photographer that takes great pictures. Not only did the photographs capture the magic and dreaminess of the day, but he made sure my husband and I were taken care of and that we had every detail finalized to make sure our dream wedding came to fruition. My absolute favorite part looking through all of our photos was the fact that Tyler got pictures of almost every single person at the wedding. The importance of their presence was immense and I am so thrilled Tyler captured the incredible energy each person brought (without even asking!!). Tyler was also incredibly communicative and able to guide me through timelines of the day in such a smooth way that helped me understand what wedding planning really entails. Well I think I’ve watched my wedding video about 50 times the day I received it. Tyler is blessed with a natural ability to capture the most beautiful and authentic version of you on your special day. If we had to share one thing about Tyler, it's that he goes above and beyond. His attitude was amazing all day, and he was so incredibly attentive to our needs. We had the most amazing wedding with the most amazing photographer! Tyler did such a phenomenal job with mine and my husband’s awkwardness during photos and made them so natural. The man the legend
I’m pretty sure Tyler is the standard in which all other wedding photographers should be held against. He’s anything but amateur. It was obvious very quickly that this man had done this many times. He took charge of his job in a way that made us feel we could relax and let him do what he’s good at. He was completely open to us suggesting anything we needed to but him knowing exactly what needed to be done was amazing. This guy not only took photos that we will be proud of for the rest of our life but knew how to fold my pocket square and put on my boutonnière and calm us down when there was a scheduling mishap. We found Tyler through wedding wire by what seems to be fate. I simply cannot put into words how grateful we are to have found Tyler! Not only is he extremely professional and personable, but he saw our vision and made it come to life and then some. He saw things in moments that I would’ve never thought to capture and made them LASTING memories that I will cherish forever.
Although we were either running late or out of order for things, he made the moments worthwhile and did it with a lot of compassion and made it a lot of fun 🫶🏻

Hands down the best decision I made for my wedding was working with Tyler! From the first interaction with Tyler, we knew we wanted him to capture our wedding day. He has a great sense of humor and he was so easy to connect with. I was truly able to just be myself around Tyler and I feel that is something so important to capture candid moments. When communicating prior to our wedding he listened and asked questions to really get to know us, and genuinely cared about what we were looking for. I cannot recommend Tyler enough!!! he was fan-fricking-tastic, professional, funny, punctual, and most importantly he makes you feel incredibly comfortable which allows you to instantly get out of your shell!! our wedding pictures came out better than i can imagine! Made it look like a fairytale, something out of a top bridal magazine, heck maybe I'll send them to vouge they're THAT good!! Honestly, we are not local BUT we are going to contact Tyler for all our photo needs from here on out, you'd think he was a magician based off the magic he puts out there with his photos. Best photographer ever! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed working with Tyler, and how fortunate I feel to have found him! Tyler is the epitome of professionalism, and outstandingly talented in his art. He has a fantastic eye for detail and takes great care in creating the perfect image. I don’t know if it is possible to put into words how awesome it is working with Tyler. He took the time to really get to know my fiancé ( now husband) and I from the very first time that we spoke. We are both kinda awkward when it comes to pictures but with Tyler it was like just hanging out with a friend and he was able to truly capture the real us. The one thing we wanted from our photos was for them to be us and not the standard wedding poses and Tyler knocked it out of the park. Bonus skills include untangling necklaces in a pinch and a sense of humor that will make your normally stoic Uncle actually laugh. Best decision ever!
The photographer/videographer was, to me, the most important part of my wedding planning process. I have a very specific taste and type of photos that I like and once I came across Tyler Gets Weird, I knew his style was exactly what I was looking for. His portfolio brought me in with his realism, but once we did the initial phone call, I knew he was the photographer for my wedding. He was personable, knowledgeable and gave us great advice on some things we weren't too sure about - also found out he did video too! After we booked him for the wedding, he stayed in contact with us until the big day to ensure we were all on the same page. Fast forward to our wedding date, the only word to describe him is phenomenal. He arrived early, scoped out the location to see the best photo options, helped us relax and not feel like we were putting on a performance. He told us that the theme of the day was flexibility and we would make it work no matter what - AND HE DID. I felt like I've known him for years with how comfortable he made not just my husband and I, but our family and friends as well. Our photos and video are something I will look at for the rest of my life and he is now my family photographer for any and all milestones from now on. -

Working with Tyler was perfect. We had multiple calls to make sure we were getting what we wanted and with every call we had some good laughs. Made everything such a breeze. Prior to even meeting Tyler, we were impressed by his excellent communication skills, follow-through, flexibility, professionalism, and sense of humor. He kept in close contact with us throughout the entire process and made us feel completely comfortable from the start. All of those things continued throughout the wedding day, and for people who are not normally comfortable being in front of the camera, he made us feel right at home and kept us genuinely smiling and laughing the whole time. Tyler was an awesome photographer to work with and my fiancé and I would highly recommend him! We are having a smaller, destination elopement but wanted a local photographer to shoot our engagement photos around Jekyll Island. Tyler was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. On the day of the shoot, my fiancé was nervous because he had not had professional photos taken of him since he was in college but we found Tyler to be easy going and fun to work with! He was able to get beautiful photos of my fiancé and I (and even our two dogs) and, more importantly, was able to capture our personalities in the pictures. His turnaround time in getting our photos to us was also much faster than expected (it took him a weekend!!) Everyone we have shared these photos with is impressed by them and we are using them on our save the dates and invitations. We have referred him to our friends in the area and will reach out to him next time we need a photographer. -

If you are lucky enough to get the opportunity to book Tyler, don’t think, just book. He was the perfect mix of professional and awesome and made my wedding party laugh while simultaneously laying down the law to get the best possible footage. He really took the time out to nail down what was most important to my husband and I, and gave us a solid library to choose from for our videos background music. Being on video the whole day was sort of a daunting thought to me and I thought I would be really nervous, but he sort of effortlessly blended in to the background and somehow still captured the most beautiful and meaningful parts of the wedding without making us uncomfortable. As a bonus, he always responded quickly, provided BEAUTIFUL work at half the price of other videographers in my area, and he delivered our wedding video to us surprisingly quick. I have watched it 20 times by now, and it still makes me smile so hard that it hurts my face. It is truly amazing, all my family and friends are obsessed with it, and I’m forever grateful that we get to relive the best day of our lives whenever we want ❤️ -

Great wedding photographer!
When hiring a photographer I had a certain level of expectations. Primarily, high quality photos that would capture the moments and energy of our upcoming wedding. When my wife initially showed me Tyler’s work, it seemed like exactly the type of work we were looking for. What went beyond my expectations was all of the work Tyler did to not only make the photos look great but also the overall wedding and reception.
For someone like myself who is not used to taking professional photos, Tyler provided a fun and comfortable atmosphere. His fun but also professional approach to his work allowed my wife and I to be ourselves. And Tyler did a great job of capturing this.
In addition to being our photographer, he went the extra mile to help make sure things were running smoothly so my wife and I could enjoy the day. From helping me adjust my tie and handkerchief to making sure our food and drinks were coming, Tyler work continuously to decrease any potential stresses and allow my wife and I to focus on enjoying the moment.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Tyler as a photographer. Working with him gave me a better understanding that a great photographer not only captures beautiful moments but also helps genuinely facilitate them with his work ethic.

Tyler was fantastic from the very beginning. Having a destination wedding in Panama City, and being long distance for our whole engagement due to being dual military, Tyler was excellent at scheduling phone calls for the three of us to make sure we were on the same page as we were planning. First phone call, he was interested in learning our story and we got to know each other a bit to make sure our personalities meshed well. His work highlights all the candid moments and really captured the joy we felt on our day. After the wedding, everyone raved about how much fun he was to have around and how amazing the pictures turned. We honestly don’t think we could’ve had a better photographer to capture the sweet memories of our wedding. Wholeheartedly recommend TylerGetsWeird to anyone. -

My fiancé and I were looking for a photographer to take pictures of our engagement and we stumbled upon Tyler and good thing we did! He is such an outgoing and talented person. We have never had professional pictures done before so my fiancé and I felt very awkward and didn’t know what to do. Tyler made the whole experience very fun and relaxing! He told us how to pose for certain photos and gave us very good direction. We received the photos a couple days later with AMAZING results! Tyler was the videographer for our wedding and I'm not sure there are enough words to express how amazing he was to have. Tyler creates a space that is professional, but comfortable; creatively open to your vision, yet able to capture the beauty of your day through his eyes (which trust me, you want). One of the first things Tyler said to me was "What's important to me is your experience. I'm not here to treat you like a product for a company that we just want to get up on Instagram. This day is about you and us capturing your special moments together. I'm here to make this an experience for you." And I'll tell you, he stands by those words throughout every step of your day.
Tyler made us smile and laugh from start to finish. He literally took the jacket off of his own shoulders to keep me warm through our 38 degree day (and shared it with anyone else who needed it, including our 2-year-old flower girl). Without having to ask, he helped my sister bustle my dress because we had no idea how to do it (Tyler is a wealth of applicable knowledge on literally anything wedding). At one point, I looked at him and said "how long should I wear my veil for?" just because I already felt like he was my friend who would know what to do. I felt like Tyler wasn't just our videographer - he was in grained in and a part our the adventure that was our day.
And after the wedding, every guest and other vendors all had the same wonderful things to say about him - he was funny, genuine, and a great guy to work with and have there.
Tyler's videography is beautiful - the product you're going to get is guaranteed to be spectacular. He's incredibly talented in his craft and that alone is a reason to book him and trust him with your special day (or any projects for that matter). But what makes Tyler even more unique from other videographers and photographers is the experience you'll have with him. The best weirdo
When choosing our wedding photographer we had low expectations. At the time, we just wanted someone who would show up on time and take a few pictures. After interviewing a few different photographers, some of which we didn’t vibe with, some who weren’t available on our date, we were referred to Tyler. We first met Tyler about a year before our wedding as we decided it was a good idea to have him take some engagement pics for us just so we could get acquainted a bit before the big day and make sure his editing style and personality meshed with ours. Can I just say, not only is he one of the most talented photographers I have ever met he has become one of our dearest friends. Tyler has the quirkiest personality that just makes you feel comfortable and has a way of lifting the jitters of having professional photos taken. He didn’t feel like a vendor at our wedding, he felt like a dear friend enjoying the day along with us. He made us laugh, kept everyone on time and organized, kept the controlling family members in check, and made sure we got all of the shots we wanted of the big day. At the end of the day, he made sure my husband and I called the shots and that was something I will be eternally grateful for. To not have to have worried about having to say “no” when a grandparent or parent wanted some extra shots, he was there to serve my husband and I and he would have fought for our vision until he was blue in the face, if needed! He went above and beyond to carry my dad around on FaceTime as he couldn’t attend due to being ill and made sure he didn’t miss a moment and always had clear shot of the ceremony. He even arranged with our venue for my father and I go to back and recreate the father daughter dance that we couldn’t have on my wedding day. My father and I would have missed that moment if it wasn’t for his dedication to make sure my wedding memories were perfect, even if it meant going back a month later to finish the job. We have since gone on to use him for our wedding photographer and again for an anniversary shoot and we look forward to every single session! If you want a stuffy and cookie cutter photographer, you should look elsewhere. If you want someone who can make you laugh, show you some cute dog videos, cut the loose strings off your dress, make sure your hair doesn’t have any flyaways, and keep your dress out of the mud, you should give Tyler a call. You’ll make a friend and get some bomb a** photos to go along with it! -

I’ve personally had multiple shoots with Tyler, including my engagement and wedding photos. I had such a positive experience and he is very professional. I can’t say enough of how much I love Tyler’s work. You can guarantee the best product when dealing with him. I love how personal he was with me and my wife, and made us feel so comfortable during each photo shoot. And trust me, he is WEIRD, but in the best way possible!! Tyler is a 10/10 and the best photographer you could find.
