Tyler was our wedding photographer, he was amazing to work with and we love the photos! From the first phone call to the delivery of our photos, Tyler was absolutely amazing. He listened to what we wanted and worked with us to make us feel comfortable with all the shots and poses. He has a very sweet easy going personality and we loved working with him on our wedding day. He arrived early and worked with us with all the last minutes changes due to weather. Our photos are incredible!

Tyler Freear is the the best wedding photographer I have ever worked with. Due to the pandemic, we had the pleasure of working with him twice! He was flexible with us when we planned an elopement instead of a wedding. He is professional and kind, and gave us clear instructions to get beautifully posed photos. Tyler does an excellent job with weddings. If you're like me and don't know how to strike a pose without direction, he'll help you out. He takes a good mix of family, fun and couple photos. He's laidback and easy to get along with but has a good attention to detail when it comes to lighting and finding the perfect backdrop.

Working with Tyler was such a wonderful experience! We had to downsize our big wedding to an elopement style ceremony and Tyler was SO accommodating and flexible. We didn't have a day of coordinator and Tyler basically filled those shoes too on top of taking amazing photos - he told us where to go, picked the best locations, etc. He seemed to be having so much fun taking our photos which put us at ease and helped us really enjoy every minute of the day. He was so friendly and personable...10/10 we can't recommend him enough.

Tyler's work speaks for itself but we could go on for days about how great he is! Before we got engaged, we were amazed at our friend's wedding photos so we had to call him when we got engaged. We were a little concerned about how expensive he might be based on his work but Tyler is super affordable and has several options to choose from. We ended up having to postpone our wedding for a year because of Covid but Tyler was amazing and offered to do our elopement photos this year too. Tyler made our little elopement the most amazing day of our lives by capturing our most special moments with our closest family members. The photos turned out incredible and we will cherish them forever! Tyler is incredibly professional and sensitive to your needs, all family dynamics, and your time/timing on your big day. And somehow he got our dog to look directly at the camera all day after 13 years of her refusing to for us! Tyler was incredible! From the engagement session to the wedding and after he was so attentive to everything. He is very detail oriented and has a style of his own. We wanted our wedding photos to be personal to us and not the standard set of photos like we saw with other photographers. With Tyler we had our expectations exceeded. He knew more of what I was wanting to see in our photos then I did! I am also so happy that we decided to go with the photo booth. For our wedding there were no kids so we didn’t think it would be useful to add that but that was the biggest hit of the night. Everyone was laughing going into the photo booth with all the props and laughing even harder when they got the print out of their photos. It definitely set the tone for the evening and the best part was we got to see all the photos that were taken and we couldn’t stop laughing either! I would most definitely recommend Tyler to anyone looking for a photographer to make your perfect day even more memorable!

AMAZING Photographer! Love Our Pictures!
Tyler Freear was an incredible photographer to work with on our wedding day. My sister (amateur) ended up taking our engagement photos, but even without meeting Tyler before the big day, he made us feel at-ease and coached us through each pose.
The process of finding a photographer in general was tedious for us (so many out there), so when I submitted an interest form to Tyler, I was pleased that he responded within an hour. Tyler was professional throughout the entire process and very responsive with every email sent. He helped talk through a schedule prior to the day of and made sure to stick to it once we were at the venue - this was important as the bride and groom are easily distracted and pulled in a million directions. Tyler makes sure to get every picture you identified beforehand and has an eye for what to capture using the landscape and venue's highlights.
We also took advantage of Tyler's photobooth - I STRONGLY recommend this service. As the bride and groom, we had a great time using it, and I've heard from ALL my guests what a great addition it was. We also used the print-outs from the photobooth for our guestbook. It's been a blast looking through it - very memorable piece of our entire day.
Lastly, Tyler did a great job preparing and delivering our photos. He worked quickly to share them with us and followed up via email and phone to ensure that we enjoyed them.
I STRONGLY recommend Tyler for anyone's wedding or special event! He is awesome!!

Tyler was amazing throughout the entire experience, I emailed and facetimed him numerous times about questions and he always responded quickly and effectively. During the wedding, he made my husband and I feel very comfortable during our wedding. MUST BOOK Photographer!!
Tyler was exactly what we needed on my wedding day! He not only took the most gorgeous pictures, he helped keep everyone on track and on time!
I was absolutely clueless about weddings, and even more clueless about all the extra stuff that went into one – especially all the time it takes to get the right pictures. I didn’t think about it, but obviously the photographer can only be in one place at a time – and Tyler managed to still capture EVERYTHING!
He also helped every feel comfortable, and look their best during the photos. He would call out poses, and small changes (like when my dad had a program in his hand during our portraits). He knew who needed to be in which picture and made sure we had all the right people available so the pictures went quickly. We got all the pictures we needed and were able to seat for dinner on time (despite running a few minutes behind on the ceremony).
He even took us outside for the most beautiful evening pictures in the snow, and took a lot of pictures we weren’t expecting! During the ceremony we forgot all about the pictures, but he made sure to get our rings to take some nice pictures with them, and captured so many great moments of our friends and family.
I honestly couldn’t believe anyone else would have done a better job, and with such a great personality. He was very professional, and so much fun to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding – everything was perfect.

If you’re looking for someone to photograph one of the best days of your life like your wedding Tyler is definitely the best choice in that decision. My husband and I booked Tyler for our wedding and feel truly blessed that he was available to do it considering we unknowingly chose to get married the day before Mother’s Day this year. I honestly can't thank Tyler enough! There was a lot of chaos on the day of our wedding and it was freezing out, but he was patient and kind the whole time. I was in full panic mode when he arrived at the venue because I had forgotten my veil at home, so he took me home and back to get it. Even though that cut into our photo time, it meant the world to me because I truly wouldn't have felt like a bride without it. Tyler was great. Always followed up with phone calls, emails, and texts in a very timely manner. It’s always busy in a bride’s life when the final weeks are wrapping up, and Tyler was there to reassure us everything would be okay. There was no pressure, no worries, no concerns. Tyler scoped our a good spot for post-ceremony photos before he showed up to the venue. He arrived on time. He said our photos would be back in three weeks, and ended up sending us our portfolio while we were still on our honeymoon! It was beautiful looking back on our amazing day while watching the sunset on a beach. Our photos turned out better than we could have ever asked!

From the moment I reached out to him, I felt very comfortable with talking with him. He had my date available and was very communicative throughout the entire process. I got married in Vegas and he was there from the moment I arrived at the venue. He greeted me with a welcoming smile and was amazing the entire time. He made sure to get the special moments and moments that I didn’t know were special until later.
He took beyind fantaatic photos! I love the fact that I can (and often do) look at my pictures and feel what I felt in that moment of getting married.

Rainy Day Magic
It’s hard to get excited about photos while being poured on for your big day, but Tyler truly showed us that nothing would stop him from showcasing our love on the day of our wedding. We trekked through muddy vineyards, got soaked, and almost lost a few umbrellas to the wind, but the results of our wedding photos were unreal and beyond my expectations. Tyler is incredible from photography, to communication, to making everyone in the shots feel comfortable. AMAZING, Could NOT be happier!
Tyler was phenomenal. The moment we met him months before the wedding we instantly knew he was our photographer. Professional, responsive, he listened and also knew what to do. This was very evident the day of, we got through our pictures quickly (well wedding 'quickly') he kept everyone moving, smiling and got us back to enjoy some of our cocktail hour. The last few weeks were torture having to wait to see the photos finished...but it was beyond worth the wait. Our pictures are STUNNING! We are getting SO many compliments and as the bride, I am SO happy with how they look, I look, he looks, everyone looks. Tyler and his team captured our day, captured us and made us look great! Breathtaking pictures that you'll treasure for a lifetime
Hiring Tyler to be our photographer was one of the best decisions I made while wedding planning. From the moment I reached out for the initial inquiry all the way to the delivery of our wedding pictures, Tyler has been very professional, personable, flexible, and has timely communication.
My husband and I had never had professional pictures taken before, and Tyler went out of his way to make both of us feel comfortable during our engagement shoot and during the wedding. I loved that he would show us the back of the camera periodically so we could see what things looked like from his view and he’d make sure we were happy with the initial images on site. He also worked really well with our videographers on our big day. Tyler is timely with his work and always follows through with doing what he says he is going to do. It’s evident that he is serious about his work and is intentional and thoughtful about all aspects of his work as a photographer. Tyler did an incredible job with our wedding photos- we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out and we will treasure them for a lifetime!

We absolutely love Tyler. He was upfront about cost and timeframe as soon as we spoke with him about our wedding and engagement shoot. He has very fair pricing and will not charge you for a package larger than you need. He's incredibly helpful when it comes to taking photos with cues on how to stand/position hands, etc. He had photographed our venue before, but still did a thorough sweep of the place to find the best photo opportunities. Incredibly thorough. Literally, he is everything you want and need in a photographer. He's kind and funny, making him enjoyable to spend your day with as well. You will not regret booking Tyler!
Oh and his pictures are absolutely stunning as well!

There are not enough good things to say about Tyler and his photography. He was incredibly kind, professional, and personable through the entire process. We had a disappointing experience with another photographer and when we found Tyler, we knew we finally found the right fit! He is timely and responsive, informative, and honestly the kind of guy you just want to be around-which makes you feel so comfortable! He has a great eye for detail, he captures all of the emotion you would hope for on your special day, and presents you with the most beautiful photos. Tyler was such a breath of fresh air during a full action packed day. He’s customer service is top notch – before, during and after our wedding day. I greatly appreciated his responsiveness and professionalism during this entire process. We had some tight time constraints from the ceremony to the reception. Being a stereotypical bride, I was concerned about having the time to get those “OMGosh that’s gorgeous” shots and also get in those family requested pics. Tyler delivered on both in a such big way! We LOVE our photos – the colors, the clarity, the quality!! It’s one thing to get all prettied up in your wedding dress with fancy hair & make up & feel like a beautiful bride; it’s another thing to have the pictures that highlight EXACTLY how you were feeling that day inside and outside. Tyler has a wonderfully creative eye for fantastic photos, candid and posed (though candid were more our favs). My now husband was even impressed and he beyond hates taking pictures. We highly recommend Tyler!!

Tyler was really accommodating and flexible on our wedding day. Even when we were running behind before the ceremony, he was calm and collected which really helped prevent stress! He was efficient at taking all the post-ceremony pictures and we were able to get to the reception early! He was excellent at instructing us on placement for the pictures, down to the little details to make sure the pictures will come out perfect! He also let us put our own touches on the pictures to make them our own. Although we haven't gotten our photos back, he showed us some along the way and we have no doubt they will be amazing! If we had to choose a photographer again, we would choose him hands down!

We had met Tyler about over a year before our wedding and from the first few moments in meeting him we knew he was the one for us. We didn't even look for any others. From the quality of his work to how professional/friendly he is made the process go that much smoother. We knew exactly what we were getting and he made the big day actually less chaotic. So many of our friends and family members raved about how great he was. Being over a year out would worry some but he checked in with me every so often to see how things were and if I had any questions before the wedding. I would recommend him a thousand times over.

We planned our wedding from across the country and knew we wouldn’t get a chance to meet him in person until the day of, but he kept our minds at ease and everything went flawlessly that day. I got in contact with Tyler about 10 months before the wedding and throughout the entire planning process he was always accessible! Tyler has a ton of experience, and he was always willing to answer questions, so I immediately felt comfortable with him. He was also very prompt in his replies, which was very helpful! One thing that stood out to me right away about Tyler Freear Photography was his website. The layout was very well designed and organized and he had so many gorgeous shots of outdoor mountain wedding venues similar to mine. He was very quick to reply to my inquiry, extremely professional, friendly and helpful when explaining pricing, package options, etc. When we met he was very engaged and really listening to what I wanted. I felt very confident and excited after meeting with Tyler and looking at his sample photo books that he would do an amazing job. We had never worked with Tyler before our wedding day because we didn't do professional engagement photos but I was not concerned. Tyler was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day and even scouted out the venue beforehand to find the best lighting and spots on the property for our photos. There were so many stunning and beautiful photos, I don’t know how he managed to capture so many perfect shots in such a short window of time. We were behind schedule and being rushed by my wedding coordinator. Tyler was great under pressure and didn’t get stressed out. This was SUCH a big deal because when it came time for our Bride and Groom photos, we didn’t feel like we were being hurried too much even though we knew we were in a major time crunch. I appreciated this so much because it allowed the two of us to really be in the moment as it was the first time we got to be alone as husband and wife. Tyler truly captured the entire beauty of our mountain venue. What I really loved about working with Tyler was he was great at giving direction so we all looked very natural. The lighting and spacing and were just beautiful and really made our photos feel unique and special without being too posed. My husband and I were planning a destination wedding in Vail Colorado, and the photographer was one of the first things that we wanted to book because we wanted to make sure we got someone really fantastic. We were planning this wedding from Indiana, so we made sure to look at A TON of photographers websites. We spent days just reviewing photos and narrowing down people that we wanted to speak with. When we talked to Tyler on the phone, he sounded extremely nice, and very down to earth. We decided to go with him because between talking to him on the phone and looking at his work online, we felt like he was someone that would do a great job, and really jive with our personalities. It is a HUGE deal to book something like this without ever meeting someone in person, but we had a good feeling about it. Tyler did not disappoint. When he arrived on the day of the wedding, he was so relaxed and confident that we would get every picture we wanted out of our day, it put me completely at ease. As he went back and forth between my husband and I pre-wedding, I felt like everything was being covered. The pictures were turning out fantastic and I didn't ever have any worries that he would miss something, or something wouldn't be right. Our photos that he took of us after our ceremony were amazing, and the shots he got were incredible. I cannot say enough about his easy going personality and professionalism. I am so grateful that we found him, and that he gave us absolutely beautiful memories of our perfect day. Thanks Tyler!!

He was always responsive even to my large amount of questions leading up to the wedding day! He captured everything I dreamed of all while not being intrusive on special moments. Tyler Freear is amazing!!! Out of all my vendors (and I loved them all!), he was my favorite. From the day I first contacted him to months after the wedding he has been so easy and nice to work with. He is very prompt and polite and professional. He was the perfect combination of being directive and efficient when taking the photos with such a large number of people in a short period of time (we had 17 in our bridal party, plus pictures with our dog!...all done in 1 hr). He also listened to us and made sure to catch shots that he knew we wanted. He was very patient, never rude, and encouraged us to have fun with the photos. He is also just a really nice, down to earth guy. Very easy to talk to and just extremely nice. Our pictures turned out AMAZING!! I have gotten so many compliments and am having a difficult time choosing which ones to frame since there are all so beautiful. I will be recommending him to anyone and everyone looking for a wedding photographer.

WOW WOW WOW is all I can say about Tyler and his photography. Not only does he take incredible photos but he is also an exceptional person. I found Tyler through WeddingWire and was immediately captivated by the photos on his website. I contacted him only to learn that he had relocated from Las Vegas to Colorado and instantly my dreams were crushed. BUT, it turned out that he travels frequently between Nevada and Colorado and he offered to shoot both my engagement photos and my wedding at no additional travel cost. WHAT A STEAL!!!! I was very nervous about having photos taken as I had never had professional photos before. He made the whole thing totally painless, in fact it was super fun! I am still complimented on how my engagement photos are the nicest anyone has ever seen. Next, he showed up to our wedding and printed a beautiful album of our engagement photos for our wedding guests to sign. He ensured that no family member was missed in the shoot and he managed to capture every moment. I have only seen the "Sneak Peek" photos so far but I have to tell you, I LOVE what I see. I expected no less from Tyler. He truly is a diamond in the rough and i can't wait to see what else he has in store!!!!!

Tyler is fantastic! My husband and I are so happy we hired Tyler for our wedding! :) He was great at returning my emails and phone calls right away and he is very professional, helpful and kind. He gave us all of our photos two weeks after the wedding, which is unheard of. All of our pictures turned out fantastic!! It will be very difficult picking for our album! He is very reasonably priced for his talent. I saw many photographers with half the talent but double the price. We also used him for our photobooth and it had to be one of the best decisions we made! All of our guests just raved about it and it was great fun! He got the shots we wanted, and had wonderful ideas for posing both us and the wedding party. The outdoor pictures are perfect. He did an amazing job with the lighting and found the best spots at the venue to take pictures. We are sooo happy we went with Tyler. He was competent in taking all the pictures we wanted without having to send him a long list. He was comfortable yet specific and made me feel beautiful the whole evening. He made us feel very comfortable, and was good at instructing poses to make us look as good as possible! He does whatever you ask, or if you're laid back he will think of the best poses himself! My husband is Nigerian (very dark), and I am very white so we were nervous about the contrast being too much for pictures, but no task is too big for him! Our pictures are perfect. The best part was his speedy turn around rate! We had our pictures just two weeks after our wedding! Also, he doesn't make you order the pictures from him, and you have all the rights to the photos. I have to tell everyone how amazing is was to work with Tyler, first of all my fiance Nick and I are not people who get professional pictures done all the time but for an engagement we thought it was a perfect time to, Tyler made us feel so comfortable and explained exactly how we should stand or move our hands to get the perfect shot. I am so impressed with the quality of the pictures we received. I don't even know where to begin...Tyler was great to work with from the start! I was really worried he'd be booked up for my June wedding when I contacted him but he had the Friday of my wedding open. We had chatted over the phone talking about the wedding and what we were thinking. Once the Big Day was here he was on time and found where I was getting ready with no problems. The whole day was perfect, we had spectacular weather for our mountain-top ceremony. Tyler captured everything that I asked for plus more! He was able to capture the moments that I'll cherish the rest of my life. He was very good at organizing group photos and making everyone feel comfortable. The turnaround time on the photos has been very quick. I love looking through all the photos. I'm VERY happy with the quality of these photos! Wow! You cant go wrong with choosing Tyler for your big day! He has an incredible talent for knowing how to capture your special moments in a way I never dreamed possible. He will provide you the perfect blend of beautiful posed, candid, and artistic shots, and his calm and friendly demeanor was such a reassurance amongst all the stress of the big day. When taking candids, he stayed inconspicuous and never got in the way of us or our guests, yet when I got the photos back, all I could think was "HOW did you get this amazing shot without me even knowing you were there taking photos???" I was floored by how happy my husband and I looked and I know that this is the mark of a very talented photographer- the ability to capture true love in photos! IF YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED IN ANY OF THE AREAS HE SERVES, BOOK TYLER. I cannot say enough great things about this man. My husband and I traveled to Las Vegas for our destination wedding. Finding a photographer 2,500 miles away from home is not an easy task. As soon as I spoke with him there was an immediate connection. On the day of our wedding, Tyler arrived early to scout possible backdrops, saving us time and making my husband and I feel comfortable. We encountered an issue when our party bus (FYI Party Tours Las Vegas) showed up late, causing us to miss our scheduled wedding time. Tyler immediately stepped up and orchestrated a new photo location plan that maximized the time we had to work with while waiting for our new time slot at the chapel. Tyler is a superior professional. I wish Tyler lived in the NJ/NYC area so I could recommend him to all of my friends and family members looking for a photographer. At the end of the day, we didn't pay a stranger to take our wedding photos, we added a new friend to our guest list.

Not only was Tyler amazing with communication during the planning process, but upon meeting him we were immediately at ease and comfortable, which resulted in some seriously stunning photos! So, I'm not usually good at writing reviews, don't always enjoy doing them, and feel very intimidated thinking about what to write....so I usually just don't. However, here I sit the day after my husband, Patrick, and my one year wedding anniversary admiring our beyond stunning pictures of our glorious day.....and I can't help but feel the need to shout it from the mountain tops that Tyler Freear is quite an amazing photographer! Absolutely amazing!! Tyler just shot our wedding in Denver, CO last weekend and he did a wonderful job. Our venue even had a little construction going on and he did an awesome job working around it and capturing breath taking photos with absolutely no sign of construction. He was awesome to work with, had great ideas and just over all blew us away. We had more family/friends come up and tell us what an awesome job he is doing and how friendly he is. He did above and beyond what was expected.We also had his photo booth at our reception which was a huge hit and so much fun! Our guests visited the booth multiple times and got 2 print outs each time. We had a referral to use Tyler for our wedding and I was so happy we picked him. The pictures that he showed us just from the back of his camera after he shot them were amazing, and I can't wait to see more! :)

My husband and I were looking for a photographer that will not cost so much but yet did not want to sacrifice the quality of work on our wedding pictures. We called Tyler 2 weeks before our wedding and booked it right there! He responded to our questions and requests at a timely manner. He is very accomodating to your requests. Everyone at our wedding was asking who is our photographer because the shots he took are just perfect! He caught every special moment of our wedding. So, thank you Tyler! We got our very very nice classy album a week later after we were done choosing the pictures & ordered it through him. Very pleased!
