  The best investment

  Choosing Tylee for our photographer was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. It was the best investment, and something I’ll always thank myself for choosing to do.
  
  From the beginning to the end, she filled our wedding planning journey with support, encouragement, and intention. It truly was like having another wedding coordinator/bridesmaid. She learns her couples, individually and together, and tailors her talent to their specific “vibe”.
  
  Tylee met with us multiple times and ways throughout our engagement. We had video calls, phone calls, Pinterest boards, google forms and more. As an indecisive bride, I was so nervous about choosing locations, outfits, and photo prompts. Tylee quite literally held my hand through it all—style guides, location ideas, photography “styles”, even VENUE ideas.
  
  I was 3000% confident in her ability to capture our love beautifully and in the exact way I wanted, without me even knowing what I wanted. THATS how much effort and intention she puts in to know her couples on a personal level.
  
  She made our wedding day go so smoothly, between the separate wedding photography timeline we created, and her fun interactions with the family and wedding party. I didn’t have to think about what photos I wanted, because we had already planned it, and because tylee had already thought of it and done it before it came across my mind.
  
  We are so grateful and amazed by the turnaround time for our photo sessions and particularly our full wedding album. We’ve heard so many of our friends talk about waiting months to see their photos, so the short time we waited is truly astonishing.
  
  We still can’t get through our wedding album without crying, and I don’t think we ever will. Tylee caught so much emotion and detail in these photos, I’m tearing up even thinking about it!
  
  Tylee felt more like a friend than a photographer by the end of this journey, and part of me wishes our engagement was just a *bit* longer so we could enjoy Tylee a bit longer.

  The BEST photographer you could ask for!

  This girl is AMAZING!! She obviously takes wonderful pictures (I mean just look at them!) but she is absolutely the sweetest soul! My goal for our wedding was to find people and small businesses who were passionate about their craft and cared about more than just getting a check. Tylee was the epitome of this! All our pictures turned out STUNNING and she so obviously cared about our experience both with her and each other. From planning our engagement session to all the last minute COVID wedding changes, she was such a source of encouragement and joy every step of the way! She put us at ease in everything, especially in front of the camera, and continuously reminded us that this whole process was about our love for each other and captured that in her pictures so perfectly! We were beyond excited to get our photos back and everyone we know has mentioned how much they can see our personalities, joy, and love in them. We will FOREVER cherish them and cannot be more thankful to have found such a wonderful person to capture our love story and be apart of our day!
  
  My advice to anyone planning their wedding is to find vendors who are wonderful people who surround you with love and joy on your day. Beautiful pictures are great, but when the person taking them is full of love and joy and makes you feel beautiful, comfortable, and confident, THAT is what makes it all perfect! Tylee is this and so much more and I am blessed to have had her a part of our journey! I would recommend her to anyone!!

  The best photographer out there!!

  Tylee is nothing short of amazing. She brought such a calming presence to our wedding day and captured our love so effortlessly. Every time I look through our photos, I am reminded of how perfect our day was, and Tylee played a major role in that. From the second we got engaged to our wedding day and beyond, Tylee was there every step of the way! In addition to capturing our love so perfectly, she continually went out of her way to help plan our big day, proof read our vows, and offer encouragement and advice through every step. She goes above and beyond for her clients, and the passion for her work shows in every photo. She is phenomenal at what she does and is the sweetest person. We cannot recommend her enough!

  Tylee shay is the best & a must have!

  Tylee is an absolute MUST to have photograph your wedding!! Not only is she incredibly talented, but she listens to your wants, offers up her own expertise when needed, is extremely easy-going (which is so nice to have during the chaotic wedding planning days!), and an overall gem to be able to have on your 'team'! The week of our wedding, she went to multiple locations to see which place would have the best colors in the Fall for photos which was so so kind. I felt so loved and cared for - like she wasn't just doing it for a job but she wanted the best for us on our big day! She also was extremely helpful with the wedding day timeline which we expressed to her was our biggest concern. Selflessness just shines through her and it honestly was so comforting to have. She is up to date on all of the current trends and offered to photograph some shots in film which was SO cool! I received so many compliments on these photos. My favorite thing is that all of the photos are timeless as well - I feel like I will always have them displayed and they'll never go out of style! I felt like Tylee and I had been friends for years leading up to the wedding day - conversation was just always so easy and fun. Also...she had all of our photos back within a couple WEEKS!!! I couldn't believe it and neither could my family and friends who expressed that with other photographers they didn't get theirs back for a couple months. The wedding day magic was still there when we received them all and it was amazing. Overall we could not recommend Tylee enough!!! Choose Tylee Shay as your photographer and you will not only receive amazing photos, but you'll gain a friend too!❤️

  The most amazing photographer!!

  If I could give Tylee 100 stars I honestly would. From the moment I inquired about her services, she was nothing but wonderful! She is the sweetest person ever, and kept our wedding day moving in a seamless fashion. She is professional, fun, kind and simply the best of the BEST! She is so comfortable to be yourself around, and made sure my husband and I were taken care of all day long on our wedding day. If I did it all over again, Tylee would hands down be the first vendor I would book again.

  Knowledgeable and Ready to Help Throughout the Entire Process!

  I asked Tylee to capture our engagement based on my fiancés’ recommendation who is also a photographer / videographer for a living. With that said, I had no doubt Tylee’s work would be outstanding and it absolutely was. What blew me away more than her final work though, was her preparation and willingness to help me in planning everything and as a guy planning an engagement having next to no clue what I’m doing, that was more beneficial than anything. Once I shared with her where I wanted to do it, it was clear she was genuinely excited to capture this day and she was able to give me a ton of ideas and tips based on her experience of places to go, things we can do there, and of course tips for the proposal itself. When the day came, I had no doubt she’d be there on time and capture everything and she did just that. We then spent some time afterwards getting additional photos where, once again, she had places we could go in mind and knew exactly what to do to make the photos come out better than we could have ever imagined. We’re discussing wedding dates with her already and will absolutely be recommending Tylee to our family and friends going forward 😊

  The best wedding photographer!

  Tylee went above and beyond my expectations as a wedding photographer! She is not only an amazing photographer but she is also a kind, sweet, wonderful person. She brings a friendship quality to her work that other photographers don't. She makes you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera! She listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered above and beyond! Not only does she produce amazing work, but she produces it quickly! She clearly loves what she does and it shows. Her and her husband Gavin were an absolute dream to work with! I can't recommend her as a photographer enough. I hope to have her as my friend and photographer for all the other big moments in my life as well! 🥰

  The amount of glorious and wonderful things I could say about Tylee would fill a book, so, to summarize: She is the most wonderful and kind human, and was such a calming presence during our wedding day. You don’t just get a photographer with her; you get a day of planner, a hype woman, someone who will go get you different shoes when your heels start to give you a blister, and a friend. She is amazing. Beyond her existence being amazing, you obviously get great photos too. She captured our day in the most perfect way - the fun, the joy, the happiness - EVERYTHING. My husband isn’t a fan of taking photos, and in fact told me multiple times he was dreading them, but he had such a blast with Tylee that he said he actually had fun during photos. PLUS, she sent a sneak peek the DAY AFTER OUR WEDDING and we got our whole wedding album back in just over a week! I still cry over the photos every day. She simply is the best.

  My husband & I cannot say enough great things about TYLEE SHAY PHOTOGRAPHY. She is such a kind soul & puts you at ease from the moment you meet her. Genuine is a word that comes to mind-she truly wants to get to know you as a couple. She is very detailed & her work is AMAZING to say the least!! I will forever cherish the photos and for her helping me throughout the whole process- she’s more than just a photographer. I felt as though she was one of my best friends!!   Capturing True Love!

  Tylee is one of the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever meet. It is very evident that she has a go-getter mentality and wants nothing but the best for her clients. For me, it was all the small things she does - - buying your favorite drink, playing fun music during the photoshoot, surprising you with a cute gift, always reaching out if I needed help, etc. - - that show how much she cares.
  
  Tylee also has loads of incentive and helpful advice for her clients. My husband and I actually used it to help write our wedding vows from scratch.
  
  I had the privilege of Tylee shooting both our engagement and wedding day photos. My husband and I were so happy with how everything turned out. It’s amazing how well she captures our true, authentic love in such a natural way. Tylee made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. Even though the wedding day can be hectic, Tylee was so calming and intentional about making the entire day special.
  
  Tylee’s unmatched passion and uniqueness truly set her a part from others!

  Best investment we made for our wedding

  There are SO MANY good things we could say about Tylee. Hiring her as our photographer was seriously one of our favorite things we did for our wedding. From the first phone call, she immediately caught our vision and helped us grow on it through the whole process until we had our photos in hand after the wedding. Luke and I frequently talk about how we wish we lived closer so that we could be regular life friends with Tylee.
  
  Neither of us particularly enjoy being in front of a camera but Tylee’s ease coupled with the impeccable music playlist and the intentionality of all our locations felt so natural and every single one of our smiles and laughs was so genuine.
  
  With my husband being a photographer himself, the photos of our wedding were a top priority and she earned our complete trust so quickly. Tylee is a great communicator and is on top of making her business run smoothly while giving us such a personalized experience.

  When we looked at both our engagement photos and our wedding album for the first time, I just remember thinking “We look so in love.” Tylee was able to capture such beautiful moments between my husband and I and seeing ourselves from her perspective was so special. We just went through our album again, 8 months after our wedding, and all of the joy and excitement was so evident, we just kept saying “this looks like it was so fun!” When Tylee says that she takes wedding photos because she wants you to remember fifty years ago why you fell in love, I can totally see how she does. Tylee’s attention to her surroundings on the day allowed her to capture so many snippets so that we can go back and remember all those things we might not otherwise: a dance shared with a grandparent, a friend getting the party started, and all the details we put work into planning. And we can also remember exactly what we felt for each other on our wedding day because of Tylee. 100/10 recommend her every time!

  All around wonderful

  Where do I even begin with Tylee? Not only did she help my husband plan and capture our proposal, she did our engagement pictures AND our wedding. Every single memory she's captured for us has been breathtaking. We had to replan our wedding about 3 times due to COVID (and once in about 20 minutes because of rain on our wedding day) and she stayed flexible with us and tried to help a frustrated bride in every way possible. Not only did she and her wonderful videographer make sure to capture the specific moments we requested, they captured the spontaneous moments that they knew that we would adore for the rest of our lives. You aren't going to find a photographer that cares more about making your wedding/engagement/proposal everything you've always dreamed than this wonderful woman. If that isn't enough to convince you, we've only been married for a week and a half and have already gotten all of our photos and video back. 5/5 would reccomend to literally anyone for anything ever.

  Tylee is the absolute best! She is so kind and her work is amazing. We had both our engagement photos and wedding photos done by her and they are so natural and captured the moment beautifully.   Excellent Photographer with a Heart of Gold

  Tylee & Gavin were our photographer/videographer team. Tylee's talent is beyond measure. Her attention to detail and easygoing, relaxed attitude and her kindness made our day so enjoyable. She and Gavin are such a great team, it is no shock that they are married - what a match made in Heaven! They captured our day and were so flexible and willing to go with the flow that we did not feel stressed or pressured. Our photos and video turned out beautifully and we could not be more happy that we chose them for our big day. We are hoping to meet them in the Amalfi Coast (where our original wedding was planned, pre-covid) next year for our anniversary to capture that if we are able to given coronavirus. :)

  AMAZING. I can’t say enough good things about Tylee and Gavin. They truly helped make our day amazing. Her intentionality with each client is remarkable and she made us feel so comfortable and special throughout the entire process. I highly recommend them!

  Wedding photos

  Matthew and I were so blessed to find Tylee! She was full of joy and a calming and peaceful presence on our big day! Our wedding day changed due to weather at the last minute and Tylee was so adaptable and gracious in the midst of the chaos! :) Because of the many last minute changes of our wedding, I was consitently wondering "what will happen next?" And everytime I saw Tylee with her gracious and reassuring smile, I felt like it was all going to be okay and beautiful no matter what happened!
  She did a wonderful job capturing the beauty of our spontaneous day and made it look warm and welcoming despite the rain! We loved the way she captured all the special little details we would have otherwise missed. Our pictures take us back to the realness of the day, the many emotions we shared and the love we have for each other. We are so thankful that we found Tylee to capture the most important photos of our lifetime! 😊
