Our Favorite Wedding Investment, Book Two17 Immediately!

We had Pete and the Two17 team for our May 2026 wedding at Ballroom at the Ben, and they were truly one of the best investments we made for our entire wedding day.

Finding a photographer was honestly the hardest vendor decision for me - I interviewed 10+ photographers - but I am so glad I did, because it led us to Pete and Two17. From our very first calls, Pete took the time to talk through our church ceremony logistics, timelines, and concerns without ever making us feel like a burden. That meant so much to us, especially because not every photographer we spoke with took that same care.

Our engagement shoot in June 2025 ended up happening the night a tornado swept through Philadelphia. The sky turned green, we lost power, and we were completely soaked - but Pete handled the chaos with so much calm and grace. We pivoted to a bar to finish the shoot, and some of those rainy, chaotic photos are still our absolute favorites. As soon as we left that night, we knew we needed Pete and his team for our wedding day.

Wedding weekend only confirmed that even more. On the way to our rehearsal, we passed Merchant’s Exchange, where we were supposed to do our first look, and saw it was under construction. I texted Pete, and within minutes, he and his team had already found a beautiful lookalike location and completely pivoted the plan. On the wedding day itself, there was a city-wide protest that left us gridlocked after the ceremony, and Two17 happily walked with us through the city so we could still finish our couple portraits.

Their team was everywhere without ever feeling intrusive. My mom is very particular, and she said every time she thought, “Someone should get a picture of this,” Two17 was already there. My husband keeps saying it felt like we had known Pete and the team for 10 years.

We also received the most incredible sneak peeks less than 48 hours after our wedding, which was such a gift. Two17 is talented, kind, calm, professional, and truly unmatched. This is exactly the team you want by your side on your wedding day. Book them immediately!

Book Pete for your Wedding!!!

Pete was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the start, he just felt like someone we could trust- not only to do an amazing job, but to actually make the day feel easier and more fun. He’s super professional, but in a way that never feels stiff or forced. He made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, which meant so much, especially in moments that could’ve felt awkward.
Throughout the day, he blended in so naturally while still somehow capturing everything. Nothing felt overly posed, and he really let us be ourselves.
More than anything though, Pete is just a genuine person. By the end of the night, it felt like we had known him way longer than just one day and we kept saying how he’s the kind of person we’d actually want to hang out with outside of our wedding.
We’re so grateful he was part of our day and couldn’t recommend him more.

Stunning photos, phenomenal videography, and exquisite service

Pete and his team are phenomenal! From the pre-wedding planning (and engagement shoot), to the detailed questionnaire that ensures you capture everything that matters to you on your wedding day, to his willingness to stay until the very end of the party, he is more than a photographer. He is more like a wedding advisor.

The photos are simply stunning. They captured the essence of the day in such a beautiful, unobtrusive way. The team was there every step of the way but they blended in naturally. They helped keep moving things along to ensure that we had plenty of time to enjoy our wedding. And they put the focus on the people (while still getting the background and obligatory staged shots) so that we got to see our wedding through the eyes of our guests.

And we can't say enough good things about our wedding video. Jordan turned our vows and the speeches into a mini movie with a narrative arc that really captured who we are as a couple, gave a sense of place to the town where we got married, and included fun little moments featuring our family and friends. We've already watched the video countless times and plan to do so every anniversary going forward (if not more often). If you were on the fence about getting a wedding video, let this review persuade you to do it. You won't regret getting to relive your day when it's done this well.

We loved working with Pete, Caroline, and the rest of the team and will use Two17 to capture life events in the years to come.

Highly Recommend Two 17

We absolutely loved working with Pete and his team for our wedding photography and videography! From the start, the process was seamless, with clear and thoughtful communication from Pete leading up to the big day. On the wedding day itself, Pete (photo), Jordan (video), and the rest of the team were incredibly easy to work with and helped everything run smoothly.

We received our photos quickly and couldn’t be happier with them, Pete did an amazing job capturing every special moment, and we’ll treasure them forever. We are also completely over the moon with the video Jordan created; it exceeded our expectations and is more than we could have imagined.

Awesome Photo and Cinema!!

Pete, his photographers, and videographers were awesome through the whole process! We did our engagement photos with Pete, and we knew he'd be awesome on our wedding day. We had a lot of fun with him, and he captured beautiful photos. On our wedding day, Pete and his team were capturing moments throughout the day in a non-intrusive way. His photographers were great with my young nieces and nephews too and went above and beyond to get them smiling in the photos. We could tell Pete and his crew were passionate about capturing the day for us. They were enthusiastic and working hard the whole time to make sure we got the best photos and video - and we absolutely did!! We will be forever grateful to be able to look back on this beautiful day! We could not recommend more highly!

Two17 = The Dream Team

Two17 Photo & Cinema? They're the real deal.
I knew within five minutes of speaking to Pete that we were going to be in the absolute best hands. Right from the get-go, he gives you his undivided attention, listening to your vision and then offering such thoughtful advice and ideas to make your big day shine even more. Collaborating was effortless; Pete is so warm, responsive, and reassuring. Photographers Caroline and Ashley were with us for the wedding and were absolutely amazing to work with as well. It felt like the three of them were truly there to celebrate our marriage rather than to simply capture the day...but capture the day they did! Looking at our photos felt like opening presents on Christmas morning; I cannot emphasize how many smiles they've put on family and friends' faces. We love how the team caught all the small authentic moments and gave traditional poses a fresh twist. Amazing Experience

Pete and his team are amazing. He creates gorgeous photos and can find great lighting anywhere. He and his team were timely, professional, kind and detailed oriented. Pete is so easy to talk to and make you relax in front of the camera. He is so passionate about his work and it shows.

Our engagement photos were stunning and I was blown away when we received our wedding photos. He delivered over 1000 images that were all incredible. There are too many amazing shots to pick from and we can not wait to create our album with Pete. You will have no regrets booking Two17!

Perfectly Captured Memories

Zach and I cannot recommend Pete and Two17 Photography enough! From start to finish, they exceeded all our expectations.

The photos are stunning. Pete truly knows how to capture the essence of a moment, and each shot is full of life, love, and joy. It’s clear that he puts a lot of thought and care into every frame. We couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out—they're nothing short of amazing.

For our pre-wedding photos, he captured the best candid and staged photos. We followed his lead, and as people who don't often get photos done, he made us feel so comfortable. It honestly felt easy and we had so much fun. During the event, they also made sure to act as a part of the party, never pulling us from enjoying our moments with our friends and family.

The video Pete's team created is absolutely incredible—every moment was beautifully captured, with perfect editing that brought all the emotion and magic of our day back to life. The best photo and video team!!!

We cannot say enough amazing things about Pete and the team at Two17! They captured the joy of our day so beautifully – we could not have picked a better team for our special day. From the beginning and leading up to the day, Pete made us feel at ease. He was responsive, answered all of our questions and gave us advice and tips on how to make the most of the day, and make sure we got all the photos we wanted. We chose not to have a first look, and Pete and his team were so helpful in making sure my husband and I didn’t see each other beforehand, which was so appreciative.

And the photos and video!!! We absolutely love them! Pete and Ashley took an excellent mix of portraits and candid photos, and they made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process.

And Jordan crushed our video! He captured the joy, excitement and love of our day so perfectly. Near the end of the night, they asked us if there was anything else we wanted to make sure we captured before the night ended – they were so attentive and thoughtful and continuously made sure we got everything we wanted. Beautiful wedding and beautiful photographs at Beach Plum Farm

I hired two17 for my October wedding at Beach Plum Farm in Cape May. The decision was simple - I liked Pete immediately. He was sincere, warm and professional.

I had told myself that I did not need a wedding video - that was until I saw one of his wedding videos. And then I had to have one! My decision to get a wedding video was one of my better decisions. Pete and his team made the most incredible and personal video which completely encapsulated our personalities.

During the planning process, Pete encouraged me to do a first look - something I did not feel inclined to do. But it was my favorite part of the day and having Pete and his team by our side to capture every moment was awesome. They felt like friends to us and made us feel comfortable and ourselves. I

usually cringe when I have to see my photograph but each and every photo from our wedding day blows me away. They perfectly captured our special day and we highly recommend them for any occasion!

Beautiful photos from Franklin Institute Wedding in Philly

We were so blown away by our photos from Two17. We had a beautiful, but long hot day in Philadelphia in July, 2024 and Pete and his team were totally professional, helpful and accommodating through the whole experience. I generally hate having my picture taken so I was very nervous about having hundreds of photos taken of me on my wedding day, but Pete and his team put me at ease. I loved how all the photos turned out and there is such a nice mix of posed and candid photos. Pete was also very easy to work with leading up to the day and had some really helpful tips to make sure we got the shots we wanted, but also got enough time just to ourselves during the wedding. He also was so kind and helped carry some of my accessories out of the hotel when we had to pack up in a rush to get to the venue, which was such a nice gesture and made me feel even more comfortable sharing our more private wedding moments on camera with them throughout the day. Lastly, our venue had the added challenge that the ceremony was held in a planetarium... in the dark... but Two17 got some truly spectacular shots of the ceremony nonetheless. Totally recommend.

Super 8 is Super Spectacular

I was not sure what to expect but was blown away by the Super-8 video. Pete Malone did a magnificent job capturing the essence of the evening with spectacular cinematography and music to match the moments. Pete from Two17 was a blast (so fun, creative, easy and flexible) to work with

We reached out to Pete about an interesting project we wanted to do for our wedding invites…a Super 8 film music video (2 min) at the beach. Pete got on the phone with us immediately and started brain storming with us. His creative ideas and input were very welcomed, and his communication / responsiveness was quick and professional.

Amazing! I wish I could do it all again!

Pete and Jordan absolutely killed it! My husband and I always wanted a videographer at our wedding, but our family wasn’t so sure, so we paid for it ourselves. After we got the video back, my stepmom was so impressed and reached out to Pete for additional services/ footage, which he provided in less than a week of the request! I wish I could have them come document every life event for me, because not only do they capture it so well, they kept us so calm before the biggest day of our lives. Jordan stayed with me, the bride, the whole day and Pete stayed with the groom the whole day. The laughs they brought throughout the day and guidance was worth the money alone! They are the best!! Don’t look anywhere else.

Hire Pete and Two17, you won't regret it!

After looking up and down for a photographer, we came across Two17's photos at our venue (Normandy Farm) and instantly fell in love with their style. We pose for a lot of pictures on a regular basis so were really looking for someone to capture more than just portraits, but the moments of our wedding day. From browsing the portfolio's its clear to see that's Pete's specialty. You spend so much time with your photographer on your wedding day and Pete and Alex instantly meshed with our bridal party and made everyone relax, which really helped the vibes in our photos. I knew Two17 would do an amazing job, but the photos are even better than I could have dreamed of - from capturing moments with my grandmoms in the morning to the vibes on the dance floor, the photos we have from our wedding day help us relive the moments we cared most about with our closest family and friends - thank you for everything, Pete!

First foremost, I just want to say that Pete and the team at Two17 are incredible, and working with them was an absolute DREAM! If you have the chance to hire them for your special event - do it.

From the jump, Pete was so communicative and great to work with. He did our engagement shoot, and it was obvious that we picked the right guy for the job. He’s fun and funny, and totally puts you at ease during the photo sessions. On our wedding day, we got to meet his team and they were just as wonderful.

Best Vendor and Amazing Experience

When I decided to do my wedding without a wedding planner, I was worried that I wouldn’t have an expert at weddings to guide me through my special day. However, my worries were abated when I met with Pete. Pete and his crew are such professionals, they knew my venue and the timing of getting all of our special photos to a T! They were instrumental to making our special day joyous and easy. They captured the most beautiful photos and videos that we will treasure forever. I opted for a small video feature, and I really recommend it. It’s a beautiful way to remember our special day. We also had his team running the Photo Booth, which got us beautiful high-quality shots of our friends and family having fun. I can’t recommend Two17 enough!

Wedding photography/videography

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Two17 photo and cinema. During our first meeting with Pete to talk about the vision we had for our wedding, he was super personable and answered all of our questions and really took the time to explain everything such as the packages they offer, how the wedding day would go with photo/video, and organization of the photos we wanted on our wedding day. Pete was always available to answer questions we had at any time of the day and was always very responsive to emails! During the day of the wedding, we met Caroline, and the rest of the photographers and videographers who captured our special day. They were all so friendly and really made us feel comfortable in front of the cameras. We absolutely loved all the photos we got. They did such a great job with suggesting how we should pose and took different angle shots in front of different backgrounds. They always asked if we wanted any more pictures or if there was anything else we wanted to capture before moving onto something different to make sure we got all the photos we wanted on our special day. Lastly, the video is AMAZING. It captured our entire wedding day from start to finish in a 7 minute video and we couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. The audio and video is so clear in the video. My husband and I would highly recommend and trust us, you won’t be disappointed! They are the absolute best!! Outstanding Work & Communicatjon

Pete did our engagement photos, wedding photos and videography. He responded to all emails and calls quickly and went above and beyond to maybe our vision come to life. Two17's team captured every joy and emotion from start to finish

Planning a wedding (or two in two years) is a long process, but the actual wedding day moves so quickly. Nothing is more valuable than having a team blend seamlessly with family and friends capturing every moment to savor later. Pete feels like family now after photographing and videoing both my daughters' weddings as well as an intimate Covid ceremony. Every time I made a mental note to 'remember the moment' I saw Pete or Jordan recording those special moments for us. He blends artistry and fun and keeps everyone so relaxed through the process. Pete's calm manner also kept us focused and present in the moment, and it showed in the candid and posed photos. We really felt that Pete's team wanted to get a sense of who we all were and it was so evident in the finished video and pictures. Jordan was able to blend footage from my daughter's small ceremony during covid with the footage from her reception in 2022 in such a creative way. I really wouldn't host a wedding without having them there to capture the magic. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The BEST Photography team

I knew I made the right photographer choice after the engagement session when my picture-hating finance said “wow that was actually fun.” Pete made everything fun and easy. He gave great direction and suggestions. Days before the wedding, we walked through the timeline and went through everything that we wanted on the day of, and Pete and Lou delivered! Our entire bridal party, even the groomsmen, had so much fun taking pictures. They listened to every suggestion and idea that someone threw out and attempted to make it work. I’ve been in many weddings and I have to say Pete and Lou were by far the best wedding photographers I’ve worked with. We got our pictures back within 2 months and have already looked at them a hundred times. They captured great group shots, individual shots and guest shots that we'll be able to have forever. We will absolutely be using Two17 for future occasions!

Experienced, highly professional photographers

Fantastic experience with Two17. Our venue recommended a few photographers, but we chose Two17 because of their incredible work. Their photos are classic but innovative, with vibrant colors and a natural feel. Pete and his team were excellent at communicating from the very first email, and he set up a Zoom meeting so we could learn more about the company and various packages. We opted for two photographers to cover the entire day and asked for lots of candid photos of our guests at the reception. After booking, Pete supported us throughout the planning process. He sent a magazine filled with work that they’ve done with notes on each aspect of the day and planning considerations to make the day go smoothly. Their website, invoices, and contracts are clear and professional, and Pete sent a questionnaire a few weeks out to get details for the day of. He consulted with us over the phone to review the timeline for any potential delays or issues and offer suggestions from his years of experience. On the day of, Pete and Caroline were calm, flexible, and detailed, while also blending into the background of events like our first dance or cake cutting. We received our proofs less than two weeks after the wedding and I loved that there were so many pictures to choose from. For example, the same pose/shot may have multiple similar photos included in the gallery so that you can pick the frame that you (and/or your partner feel you look the best). I highly recommend Pete and Two17 for your wedding or other special event!

We LOVED our wedding video!

My husband and I went back and forth about whether or not to have a videographer for our wedding in October 2021. Ultimately, on the advice of friends and family, and a referral from our photographer, we decided to book Two17 to capture our day— after all, you can’t redo your wedding! I can honestly say this may have been the best decision we made when planning. Working with Pete ahead of time to coordinate details and timelines was such a pleasure and he quickly responded to any questions we had. On the day of our wedding, Jordan and his team were friendly, professional, and they put everyone at ease. They fit right in with our guests and, as a somewhat camera-shy bride and groom, we barely remembered we were being recorded! The finished video feature is something I know we will treasure for the rest of our lives. The cinematography, the music, and the sound clips of toasts made for such a gorgeous keepsake of our day. I can’t recommend Two17 highly enough and I am so grateful for our entire experience working with them!

The best photography and videography team!

Pete and his team are simply the best wedding photographers and videographers ever! They make you feel so comfortable and make the experience so fun. All the pictures and video are beyond amazing and we love reliving our day though both. We get so many complaints about our pictures and video about how beautiful they are. I still tear up when I watch our video as it bring back all the same feelings I had that day.

Beyond amazing

I knew I needed to work with Pete and the Two17 team after seeing my friend's amazing wedding video, and they did not disappoint. I had to reschedule my wedding TWICE, and Pete was kind, flexible, and understanding throughout the entire process. Our videographers for the big day, Jordan and Harrison were professional, kind, and thoughtful throughout; they coordinated and worked well with our photographer, and they made us very calm and comfortable in front of the camera. Our video is SO well done--I cannot stop watching it! We will certainly cherish the video for years and years to come.

Thankful to have this video for the rest of my life

I heard about Two17 through a referral from another videography company. The second I started interacting with Pete, I knew I would be in good hands. I had watched their other wedding films and knew they would capture the right moments and sentiment of my wedding day.

Fast forward a few months later, watching my wedding video for the first time with my husband we couldn't stop smiling, laughing, and tearing up from how beautifully curated the video was. No one Better!

We could not be happier with our decision to have Two17 Photo and Cinema to be apart of our big day! From our initial contact all the way to the day of our wedding, Pete was very responsive to ensure we were comfortable and on the same page. Pete helped guide us through the timeline of our big day months ahead of time and it truly helped ease our stress about making the most of our time leading up to the ceremony and reception. Simply Amazing

Pete and Jordan are 10/10. I was connected to them via a former working relationship and couldn't be happier that they were the ones who captured our BIG day! From the beginning of the process they were quick to respond and really worked with my husband and I to understand what we were looking for and work to fit our budget.
On our wedding day, Pete and Jordan arrived wayyy earlier than expected and captured setup/details of our day all on their own. Once they were with the bridal party, they were great at just blending in, made all the ladies feel comfortable even with a big camera around!
They worked hand in hand with our photographer and together they crafted beautiful settings and poses for us throughout the day AND were super flexible when my husband and I turned ideas down (to get back to the party!)

We will never be able to thank Pete and the Two17 team enough

Pete and the whole Two17 team are the photo/video dream team. Words cannot do them justice, but to give you a little background: I spent WEEKS looking for the perfect photo/video team for our wedding. I scoured the internet, looking through photographer after photographer, album after album, and fell in love with Pete’s work. Though there are other photo/video teams that also do nice work, I promise you that there is no other team that is as friendly, fun, and that cares as much as Two17 does. This was already obvious to my now-husband and me after our initial meeting with Pete, but working with him and his team over the course of the past three years, two weddings, and one engagement session only further proved that. Their passion shows in their work- the way that they’re able to capture such beauty and raw emotion, in addition to all the fun and chaos of the day, is incredible. They also do so in such a way that makes you actually have fun taking all the pictures, it’s not something that you do just because you have to do it. Not only are the pictures/videos stunning, but you also truly feel as if you’re reliving the day every time you look back at them. Needless to say, we are obsessed with our pictures and videos. Our wedding also incorporated many culturally different aspects, in addition to another language, and Pete and the team handled it absolutely seamlessly. It’s easy to find someone with a camera, but it’s hard to find a group of people that each have such incredible talent, dedication, and that work together so well. It is clear that this is more than a job to each of them- they love what they do, and they will stop at nothing to not only capture your wedding day perfectly, but also make the day itself perfect in whatever way they can. They’re each incredible humans- you may have hired a vendor, but you will leave your wedding with new friends. We truly feel blessed to have had Pete and his team as our photographers/videographers, and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They are worth every penny and then some. Thank you Pete!

Such a great time with Two17 Photography!

We were struggling to find a photographer we liked for our wedding, nothing seemed perfect, but then someone recommended Two17 Photography. Instantly, we loved the pictures and their style of photography, and once we met with Pete, it was a no brainer. He was easy to talk to and reassuring about helping to make our wedding planning process easier. We had a great engagement session in Chestnut Hill, and Pete knew exactly where to go for beautiful fall pictures and he made sure we had fun. A few months later we had to postpone our March wedding due to COVID, and Pete was very understanding and responsive in rescheduling for another date. We also had some changes to our original wedding plan, and Pete was able to work with us to make last minute adjustments. We were able to get married August 30, 2020, with a small group of family and friends, and Pete and his assistant, Caroline, captured our entire wedding day perfectly. They were fun and creative in taking different photos around the property, and our families and wedding party had a great time with them. We absolutely love our wedding pictures, and we are so grateful to Two17 Photography for making that happen and for their support throughout the craziness of wedding planning both before and during a pandemic.

Blown Away!

My husband and I knew we wanted Two17 to be a part of our wedding day the moment we met Pete. He made us feel so comfortable and at ease as we worked together in the days leading up to our wedding. We had to make some major changes to our big day due to COVID 19, but Pete's communication and cooperation was excellent throughout the entire process. Pete and his team went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure our day was still as special as ever.

During the wedding, the team members were beyond professional as they were attentive, yet not intrusive. They helped keep the day fluid and made taking wedding photos a stress-free experience. They were friendly, and very respectful and patient with all our guests. Their attention to detail was impeccable and is evident by how truly remarkable the final products turned out.

Two17's ability to not only produce incredible photos, but also provide phenomenal service on the most important day of our lives is astounding. a huge blessing to our covid backyard wedding

planning wedding is hard. 2 weeks before the wedding (backyard covid wedding), I was still searching for a photographer with least hope on google map. found Two17 Photo & Cinema
was totally by accident, called in, Pete was so nice answering all the questions, details and processes. elopement package with extra hour service was great fit for us. Tom was very fun to work with, together with his photography skill, I am super happy with everything. he guided our first look, provided mental support and was a good listener to my needs. even photos was the end goal(you already can tell from the pictures), but working with person that you enjoy working with was not easy too. the consultation, contract, payment, photo delivery process very professional and smooth. we really enjoy working with them and look forward to working with them again.

Amazing Videographers

I can't say enough about our experience with this vendor. They were so accommodating and spend the entire day with us. The video they put together was absolutely beautiful. It will be forever cherished in our home. The way they took our voices from reading letters we wrote to each other and placed bits and pieces throughout the video was amazing and so touching. I came back to them with some additions I wanted added after they had finished in in just a day or two they went back and edited everything I had asked for. I would absolutely hire them again.

Awesome to work with!

Pete and Tom were both so great to work with. They were relaxed and fun and got so many amazing shots. All the posed shots were great, but I also was impressed at how they caught so many great moments throughout the reception that really captured the whole tone of the wedding. The fact that they don’t limit their time or charge by a certain window of time, but are present the whole time was also a huge plus. Highly recommend them!

Do not look anywhere else.

We hired Pete (and our second shooter Tom) for our wedding day on November 2nd of this year. It was hands down the best decision we could have ever made for ourselves. Pete and Tom made us both feel so confident and comfortable in front of the camera. They never once felt like photographers.. they felt more like our friends. The entire experience was so conversational and relaxed that we were able to act like ourselves. The photos from our wedding of my husband and I have never felt more "us." Pete & Lorraine were the dream team of the day!

I put this review off for over a year because I knew it would be hard to write. Why? Two17Photo did such an incredible job, I couldn't wrap my head around how to put it into words. So here goes it: I've known Pete and his work for a long while now, I think even before I met my now husband. The work he and his company is doing is stellar- consistent, colorful, and best of all, the couples look comfortable! As a former wedding photographer myself, I know that last part can be difficult to achieve.

When it came time to select vendors, my husband and I did our due diligence with other photographers. But, I kind of always knew it would be Two17. We were able to negotiate a comprehensive package that included an engagement session, day-of coverage, and a photobooth for the reception. It was exactly what we wanted and killed two vendor birds with one stone.

All the communication we had was so professional; Two17 Photo has great customer service automations set up to remind you of key dates, payments, documents needed, and a photo portal where you can view your photos to date. During wedding planning, when I felt like I was chasing down many vendors, I knew I didn't have to worry about the photographer.

Engagement sessions are inherently weird, but necessary to know what to expect come the big day. Pete came to meet us in our hometown and managed to make a boring bike path look like the most beautiful fall backdrop!

The day of the wedding was a whirlwind, but everything photo-wise went smoothly. Pete & Lorraine dealt with my lists of desired family photos, difficult reception lighting situations, and a slew of drunk guests like the pros that they are. Thank you so much for everything, Pete & Lorraine! Our day wouldn't have been as special without you guys!

I cried tears of happiness when I got my photos

In the days following my wedding, I was really in that post wedding slump- the day I had been meticulous planning was over which was reliving, sad and happy all at once. I felt like it was the best day ever and I didn’t want to forget one moment, but as the days passed it all started to blur. Then I got my wedding photos from Two17 and I sobbed the happiest of tears. They captured my wedding day just how I remembered it. As I looked through the photos I could remember how the day started, the funny parts, the emotional parts, all of it was there. It was this moment that I realized just how important choosing your wedding photographer is... I feel so lucky that I hired Two17 for my wedding day. My two photographers were Tom and Pete. Aside from the amazing end product, they were both just delightful to have with us. They went above and beyond their job as “just” photographers. Pete helped all six groomsmen properly secure their boutonnières to their tuxedos. We had no idea there was a right way to do it. I was so worried about getting the train of my dress dirty while taking photos outdoors before the ceremony and Tom and Pete made it a priority to help me carry it and place it so only the underside would get dirty. It seems so trivial now but I was so anxious about it and they made me feel so much better. Tom and Pete work really well together. You could see them say just a couple of words to each other and they would immediately start aligning people for photos or getting in position for a desired shot. This chemistry and efficiency was noticed and appreciated by multiple members of my family. I am so so grateful for Tom and Pete. They were wonderful to be with on the actual day of our wedding and we now have incredible photos to show our future children and to remember our wedding day by. Two17 is worth their weight in gold.

Hiring Two17 was one of the best wedding decisions we made!

My husband and I are so happy we chose to hire Two17 to photograph our wedding. Throughout the process, Pete was knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and thoughtful in his responses to my (many) questions and concerns. Pete was also very flexible and focused on making sure he understood what we were looking for. For example, I wanted to take pictures on Penn's campus, which required driving from our wedding venue, and Pete helped us figure out how to make this happen.

On the day of our wedding, my husband and I both found it easy and comfortable to interact with Pete and it definitely helped us feel more relaxed while being photographed. We are so happy with the way the photographs turned out. Pete captured some genuine moments of love, laughter and fun on our wedding day. It brings a smile to my face every time I look at our photos.

Two17 - the best!

Working with Two17 Photography was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding - hands down! Working with Pete leading up to the event was incredible. He was there to answer any question that I had (and trust me, I had a lot!). He always was very professional yet incredibly friendly to my husband and I. We met Pete for the first time during our engagement shoot, and he made the entire evening wonderful. He made my camera-shy husband so comfortable and had us laughing the entire night. Exceeded Expectations

We found Two17 on the knot and chose them to be a part of our wedding on January 26, 2019. When we were reading reviews, majority of them described Pete and his team as being part of their wedding, helping them feel comfortable even if they didn't like being in front of the camera all day, and truly capturing their day with the video. The reviews were so true! From the second I spoke to Pete on the phone I knew we were going to love him and his team. They listened to what we envisioned and their work captured every special moment from our day. Aside from their incredible photos, it was a joy to have them around. They kept the mood light and happy, which was very important for us! They were seriously stealth and caught even the smallest details! Pete and his team were also excellent communicators. Beyond incredible to work with!

Pete and the entire Two17 team were beyond incredible to work with!

We knew we made the right decision in choosing Two17 to photograph our wedding day after our engagement photoshoot. We were so impressed with the quality of work Pete produced during a frigid December day in NYC. Not only is Pete incredibly talented and professional, but he's also a pleasure to work with. Pete made everyone feel comfortable and calm during our wedding day—not to mention that we were completely blown away with how beautifully both he and Tom captured the most special moments of the day. Two17 captured the most intimate and important moment in my life beautifully

We had the absolute best experience with Pete and Two17 Photo & Cinema. We went with Pete after seeing the candid photos Pete took of his family. My (now) husband and I do not love sitting for photos because we can get stiff. I explained to Pete that we wanted photos like the ones we takes of his family because they were just so full of love and life. We were not disappointed.

Every single picture from our wedding and reception is warm and real and beautiful. Everyone's joy is perfectly captured and the photos immediately take us back to that moment. I also cannot believe they managed to make us look so good. We are not serious picture people, but we have portraits and candid shots that are so stunning, I cannot believe are us. We also have photos that show our silly side. I feel certain that Pete and his team captured every time we laughed, embraced, danced, sang, and cried. During what is probably one of the most intimate moments in my life, they were there. They were so unintrusive that the only reason I know that is because I have the pictures I am so grateful they took.

When we saw our "teaser" wedding video, I cried. Hard. They combined the most important parts of the day and the most touching parts of my father's toast. It still brings me to tears even thinking about it now. My dad has shown it to every person he has ever met (for example, our dry cleaner, who I have not seen in 20 years). The idea that I have this video to remember the words my dad shared with us that day is almost too much for me to think about. I treasure it beyond what I can express in words. By the time the full length video came around, I had very expectations, which were of course exceeded.

On such an exciting and whirlwind day, Pete and his team were incredibly gracious, professional, and kind. Despite never meeting them in person before that day, they felt like friends. They rolled with the punches, kept us to the schedule we set, and made us feel so special and taken care of. Before and after the wedding they were unbelievably accommodating and patient with our busy schedules. Over a year later, our parents still have not finalized their albums, but Pete gently reminds me so that we get everything we paid for.

They remain everything we could ever want in photographers/cinematographers and so much more. We have referred them to some of our best friends who also had fantastic experiences. Seeing Pete at their recent wedding was like seeing an old friend. We will never use anyone else for our photos. I cannot give a higher recommendation.

These guys are THE BEST!!!

If you're thinking about hiring Two17 for your wedding video, stop thinking about it and just do it! Jordan and Pete were down to earth and so incredibly professional. Throughout the day, Jordan gave us specific tips about how to position our bodies to get the best shot and we really appreciated the direction. If you decide to hire Two17 I recommend going through their videos and emailing Pete the specific things you liked about your favorite ones. We did this and our video was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. It was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Lets also talk about turn around time. When my sister got married, she had a different videographer and it took him 8 months to produce a two minute video that was set to music. It took Jordan just TWO DAYS to produce the most heartfelt and cinematically perfect video. Go with Two17- you won't regret it!

Two17Photo & Cinema is extremely talented

We chose Two17Photo & Cinema to video our daughters NYE wedding on a strong recommendation from a personal friend who is also in the media field.
Having never met before, it was as if we knew Pete and Jordan very well. They are great guys, personable and extremely professional. We never really knew they were filming the whole day and night.
We received a two minute teaser video shortly after the wedding that blew us away. In this short snippet they truly captured the essence of the day and evening.
The way they angle the camera on the bride and groom and the use of any related architectural details made for a very artsy and professional result.
I have shared this video clip with many family and friends and have received numerous compliments. Many felt they were watching a movie trailer and many shed a tear because it was filmed so beautifully.
We simply cannot wait until the full video

The best ever!!

Two17 Photo came highly recommended to us by friends who had used them for their own wedding and we could not be happier with our decision to book them!! Pete and his team were with us for over 12 hours on our wedding day - including several hours of shooting outside in 35 degree weather. We felt super comfortable with Pete having done an engagement shoot with him a few months prior, but our entire group felt the same way right after meeting him. The guys jumped right in as soon as they arrived and seamlessly captured every part of our special day. My dad was super impressed with Pete, particularly how quickly he learned everyone's names in our 25 person bridal party. Pete is incredibly talented and one of my favorite things about him was how excited he would get when he knew he got a great shot - he truly loves what he does!

We received our photos back within 2 weeks (which is a feat in and of itself) and we are in love with all of the beautiful images. We also used Two17 for videography and are very happy we chose to add that so we can relive our day for years to come. I cannot recommend Pete and his team enough - they are simply the best!!

Doesn't Get Any Better!

My husband Kyle and I were married in June at Congress Hall in Cape May. It’s taken us this long to write a review because it’s been difficult to put our incredible experience with Pete and his crew into words. Hands down Two17 was our favorite, most consistent and reliable vendor. Not only were Pete and his crew extremely professional and patient, but they were a BLAST! We utilized them for photo and video and the quality of both were impeccable. There wasn’t a request or suggestion made to Pete that wasn’t well received and accommodated. At all times there was a photographer and videographer within an arm’s reach, even late into the night on the dancefloor, but never intrusive or distracting. We received both a photo and video sneak peek within a week of the wedding which helped hold us over until we received the rest of the flawless final products!

It was important to us that our vendors were familiar with the venue and with shooting on the beach so we started (and ended) our vendor search with Congress Hall’s preferred vendor list. Two17 came highly recommended and was the first photography/videography appointment we had scheduled. After our initial meeting, we felt so confident and excited that we cancelled the rest of our appointments and booked immediately! One of the only easy decisions we made while planning.

In recapping our wedding day with our guests, countless had asked us to remind them what our personal relationship with Pete was. We explained that prior to hiring him for our wedding it was strictly a professional relationship. The camaraderie between us, Pete and his crew was so natural and effortless that our guests assumed we were long-time friends…which we now consider ourselves to be ;).

We’ve both been a part of several other weddings/bridal parties and we can confidently say that no one compares. Look no further, Two17 is your crew!

Amazing all around.

Pete was great throughout the entire process, making sure my husband and I were comfortable, and that my family was getting everything they needed for the wedding. Especially for the engagement photos, I always feel very awkward with pictures, but he made us feel as comfortable as possible and the pictures turned out amazing. I probably e-mailed him a million times throughout the year and a half but he was always responsive and making sure our questions were answered. Amazing service and a great person all around.

So happy we booked Two17!

We hired Pete and team for our wedding this past September. We went back and forth on the need for videography and in the end I am so, so happy we decided to go for it! Pete and his team were so professional throughout. I had one call with Pete to discuss our wedding and I could tell he was the perfect mix of professional and also super easy to work with. We booked Pete immediately. Thankfully Pete had worked with our wedding planner a bunch before so I only needed to have one more quick convo with him before the wedding, and otherwise he was all set!! Pete and team showed up to the house to film while the girls were getting ready. They weren't in the way at all and got some really cool shots of us all just having candid moments.

Once we got to the venue we immediately went into our first look at private vows. Pete and team worked so well with our photographer to make sure they had all the angles they needed covered. Our two minute video from Pete we received at the end largely focused around this private vow exchange and I still cry when I watch it!! He did such an excellent job catching us in our true moments and also mixed in some of our vow audio with shots of us laughing and joking through the first look. I couldn't have asked for more - except maybe more time - consider upgrading your teaser video package :)

The post-wedding process was super easy as well. We just sent Pete an external hard drive and he sent us back our teaser video and all the raw footage from the day. We've even had fun just going through some of the raw footage!!! We got the teaser video within two weeks of our wedding which we think is a super fast turnaround time!!

Book Pete and team if you're considering it. He's great to work with and provides an excellent end product!!

Best decision ever!

My fiancé and I were hesitant to get engagement photos. We had trouble justifying the cost and were nervous about being in front of a camera. We had already booked a wedding photographer through a family friend and engagement photos were not included in our package. I reached out to Pete at Two17 towards the end of September about pricing and availability for an engagement session. He was easy to get in touch with and answered all of my questions. He was able to squeeze us in that week for a 2 hour engagement shoot at a park near out apartment. As soon as we met Pete, we felt at ease. He calmed all of our initial nerves and helped us warm up to the camera. We played games, told stories and laughed so hard that my face will be sore for weeks! We just received the digital images and we are OBSESSED!! We could not be more thrilled with Pete and his team at Two17. They are professional, responsive and a pleasure to work with. We had an incredible experience with Two17 Photography! Pete was very professional, easygoing, fun, personable, and engaging. He made taking outdoor photos on a 90 degree July day an absolute blast! Pete and Tom were such easy going and down to earth photographers. They made taking photos so much fun and not awkward at all. Pete really let me use my creativity in our wilderness glam engagement photos. I was always emailing different questions and he was so responsive! He and Tom made our whole wedding party feel important and relaxed for all of the photos. Sometimes being with a photographer all day can be so awkward, and our experience with 217 was the exact opposite. The final photos were beyond amazing. Everyone was obsessed with our prints. I really appreciate how Pete really captured our whole wedding venue in our photos. We were able to get so many different backdrops for our photos, which is very unique. Pete from Two17Photo was fantastic. Not only were the pictures and albums beautiful, but he also helped us plan out the day to make sure we had time to get in all of our pictures while still having time to enjoy cocktail hour ourselves. The photo booth was a hit, and we were able to use part of the venue itself as the back drop. He helped make sure we got every photo we wanted from the formal family shots to a group photo of every person there to staying and capturing the excitement on the dance floor through to the end. We had Tom photograph our wedding day. He was wonderful! He remained calm and flexible throughout the entire event as we were behind from the get-go since Hilton delayed our check-in! Pete and his team were simply amazing to work with. Prior to the wedding, Pete was always available to answer our questions or address our concerns. We also had our engagement pictures taken by Pete, and they came out beautifully!!

On the wedding day itself, Pete and his team were so easy to work with. They knew exactly what shots to take, and made everyone laugh and feel comfortable. Our bridal party and our families absolutely adored them. I truly feel blessed to have had them with me on the big day.

After the wedding, we almost immediately got a teaser video, which I watched about 30 times even while I was on my honeymoon in Hawaii. The video couldn't have been more perfect. Pete also had our proofs ready in less than a month. By far the fastest time ever when I compare my experience to other friends who've gotten married. And the pictures came out better than I imagined. The team captured all the right moments - I was tearing up as I was scrolling through them!

If you're still on the fence about a photographer/videographer, do yourself a favor and hire 217 Photo. They were the best decision we could have made :-)

Pete is THE BEST wedding photographer out there!! Besides all of his photos look absolutely gorgeous, he is so easy to work with. Pete was able to adjust our timeline for day of last minute without any issues. He was very knowledgable about the best locations in the area to use for pictures, and had rainy-day back up locations if needed. We were planning out wedding out-of-state, and Pete was very flexible in having FaceTime meetings and emailing when we weren't able to meet in person. You will not find a better photographer out there!

My husband and I agreed early on in our planning that the wedding photographs were very important to each of us. As soon as I discovered Pete's website and browsed through some photos he'd taken for other couples, I knew he was who we wanted. The quality of his work speaks for itself. Pete and his team were a dream to work with from the very beginning. He was recommended to me by a dear friend, who is a fabulous photographer, and captured our wedding exactly how we requested. From our first meeting at his home office, he listened to all of our crazy requests and made them all a reality. Our wedding was at a family property and although there was a threat of rain all day, we lucked out. Pete and Tom captured our love story from the beginning! I can't even put into words with how they made all my photo dreams come true! I wanted engagement photos in the woods, but in an evening gown. Pete made the glam come to the woods. We climbed over huge tree logs and onto huge rocks in the river to capture the perfect moment for popping champagne. He really has an eye for detail. People still comment on how amazing those photos were .

My wedding day was flawless with him! He made the timeline run so smoothly that we made it to cocktail hour! Pete made myself and my husband feel so comfortable with the full day of photos. We had a blast shooting together. Everyone that I show the photos to are BEYOND impressed. He captured all of the little details and all of the special moments. Although Pete has shot at my venue of Congress Hall in Cape May, NJ before, he went along with all of the spots I had in mind. Pete is someone that has an artistic eye without having to give lots of direction. He saw a spot and the perfect lighting and went with it! His turn around time was beyond impressive! I had some photos within 3 days of the wedding! The entire album was viewable after only a few weeks! Many of my family and guests commented to me on how kind and sociable he was. Guests could tell we were comfortable with him and likewise. Our wedding had crazy dancers and Pete really captured those moves! Working with Pete and the two17 team was a DREAM. From the very beginning he made us feel comfortable with the process. He was extremely responsive and from our very first meeting we knew he was our guy. He allowed us to swap out services in one of his packages to help us create exactly what we were looking for. I was hesitant about being in front of the camera, however he made the entire process so easy. Pete and team were incredible. From the moment we met for our engagement shoot he made us feel relaxed and natural. He was very clear in all his correspondence before the wedding and arrived early on the day and was really careful about giving us all space without missing any important moments. While the photos were stunning I would encourage everyone to also get a video! All around great job, my family is still raving!

The thing I most loved about 217 is that they made us feel so comfortable and natural almost instantly, and throughout the shoot. I never thought I'd feel so comfortable in front of a camera! That made the shoot -- and the photos -- flow so well. Pete had innovative ideas that resulted in interesting photos. What's more, he got incredible, easy, natural photos of us that really reflected our relationship. Any decent photographer can get great angles and good lighting. But if you want photos that feel like YOU, comfortable, easy, intimate, and REAL, 217 is the way to go.

I have been following Pete from 217 Photography on Social Media for many years, always admiring his beautiful photography, so when I got engaged in 2014, I knew where to go!

From the first email, Pete was professional, prompt & upfront. After booking, we scheduled our engagement session. Pete has a great eye for unique locations. We ended up with really cool pictures from the quiet side streets in Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.

Pete and Alexa were excellent to work with the day of our wedding. Both arrived on time, put us all at ease and kept it light and fun. Pete even helped us with our day of wedding timeline, making sure we didn’t forget anything and keeping us all on track.

My husband and I were thrilled to get a sneak-peak of the pictures just a few days after the wedding, while we were on our honeymoon. The pictures turned out better than I could have ever imagined and our wedding album is absolutely gorgeous! We’re so happy that we made the decision to book 217 Photography for our wedding! You will not be disappointed with Pete’s work!

From our first meeting, we knew Pete was the right choice, he was professional, warm, had ideas about what works but was willing to listen to what we needed from a photographer as well. He was fun to work with, easy to communicate with and was completely unobtrusive on our wedding day. But best of all (and most important when you're talking about a photographer) his photos are beautiful!! They capture the energy and joy of the day shot after shot. I simply cannot recommend Pete and his team highly enough.

Pete and the Two17 team made our wedding complete. We had such a blast working with them and they really knew how to deliver exactly what we were looking for. Every time felt like old friends snapping shots and they always made us feel so comfortable. We laughed, we joked, and wound up with amazingly beautiful engagement photos and wedding day shots that we will cherish forever. Thanks Pete!

Pete went above and beyond from the very beginning to make the process of planning and executing our wedding day stress free and perfect.

Pete is quick to respond, professional, and highly enthusiastic about his work.

His pricing is more than reasonable because of the high quality of service and photos you get when he works with you.

One of the many things I loved about working with Pete is the fast turn around time. Once the wedding day is over you will be dying to see the pictures taken! In less than a week Pete had a ton of photos on a mobile app that we could use to share with all our family and friends. Might I add that every single one of the pictures were breathtaking and some even brought tears to my eyes!

Another great attribute about Pete is how personable he is. Sometimes taking photos can be awkward, but not with him. He makes you feel very comfortable and makes taking photos fun! Most of the time they are candid photos which I think are the best kind of photos.

If you are hesitant or nervous about hiring a photographer because it is such a big decision, look no further. Two17 Photography is the way to go.

Pete was wonderful to work with—he is flexible, open-minded, and eager to please. We found him through a site that recommended LGBT-friendly wedding photographers—we could not be happier. The love of his craft is palpable. He is energetic and has a fun-loving spirit. We are grateful that we chose to work with Pete on our big day. It is clear that he loves what he does. And it shows.

When I first asked my now-husband if he'd consider having our wedding filmed on Super-8, his reaction was, "Can't we just add an Instagram filter to the video or something?" When I explained how magical Pete's demo reel of Super-8 footage was, he agreed to give it a shot. Fast forward a few months to us receiving the final video after the wedding: my husband is in tears on the couch, squeezing my hand and saying, "This was the best decision you ever made."

All this to say, Pete's videography is outstanding. You can't replicate the intimate feel of Super-8 footage. The style is timeless, classic, and deeply emotional. We have this truly unique memento of our special day on DVD - and Pete also uploaded the teaser so we could share the trailer digitally on social media. Talk about taking a vintage style and making it relevant again. All I know is, one day our future children are going to be watching this from the couch, maybe even tearing up a little, squeezing our hands.

Pete was such a pleasure to work with. During the stressful time of planning a wedding, he really made everything so easy for me. He is reliable, accommodating and most importantly, he captured the most magical moments from my wedding day, pictures I will cherish forever. I just received my final wedding album and I am so happy with it. Pete is reasonably priced, a professional and just a good guy! Loved having him at our wedding.

I was extremely happy with my decision to book 217 Photography for my September 2013 wedding. I met with Pete before booking to get some information and knew as soon as I left that I needed to book him! He was so nice and genuine and his pictures are just perfect! He was a pleasure to work with as were the 2 girls he brought with him to help. I e-mailed with Pete often both before and after the wedding and he was always so easy to work with and VERY accommodating. Our pictures and album turned out beautiful. I would recommend Pete and 217 Photography to anyone! You will not be disappointed!!!!

Pete and Alexa not only produced amazing photographs of the wedding, they captured the story of the day. Plus, they are lovely people who got all the crucial shots without ever being obtrusive or interrupting the mood of the day. When the evening was over we hugged them--they really felt like participants in the happy occasion, not just 'vendors.' Pete answered emails promptly leading up to and after the wedding and the engagement photos were magnificent also. We cannot recommend 217 highly enough!

We cannot say thank you enough to Pete. From our initial correspondence right through to the big day, he was calm, professional, patient, and fun. Weddings can be stressful, but he was always there for us and made us feel at ease. When it came to the big day you barely knew him and the second shooter were there- they blended in so well. During our engagement photo session, Pete worked with us so that we would be prepared for being photographed on the wedding day – it was so helpful to have that first session. During the planning process it was very clear that Pete had a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience, he educated us and helped us plan, so that we would be prepared and get all the photos we wanted on the big day. To us the photos were the most important part of our wedding, because we would have them to look back on for years to come – the actual day is just such a blur! Pete has a true talent at capturing an experience. He exceeded our expectations and we are truly happy to have such lovely wedding photos. I can't possibly say enough about what Pete did for us. When I looked at his photos online and my photography-buff fiance actually approved (a rare occurrence throughout the search), I was sure we'd never be able to afford him and dreaded trying to find another photog whose work could compare. Pete sat down with us and we tweaked packages until we were able to make it work. The night we left his office was the happiest I'd been during our entire planning process. His talent is undeniable, and a quick peek at his blog can show you that...but what you don't know until you meet him is what a GREAT guy he is. He offered me excellent advice on non-photography aspects of my wedding, calmed my nerves on the big day, made posing for pictures actually fun and is so much fun to be around I was sad when it was time for him to leave...not because I wanted more photos (though who doesn't?) but because I wanted him to have a few drinks and party with us. My bridal party and guests alike complimented me on how awesome he was all night (and that was even before they saw the gorgeous photos!). Looking through my wedding pictures feels as close as it gets to actually re-living the best day of my life. That's all anyone could ask for in wedding photos and Pete delivers that and so much more. Hiring 217 Photography was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I'd recommend Pete to anyone, wholeheartedly and I can only hope I see him at weddings of my friends and family for years to come.

We LOVED everything about 217 Photography. We found Pete's work by browsing online, and immediately loved the style of his photos as seen on his blog. Originally, we thought that he was a little over our price range, but we are so glad that we decided to go for it and spend the extra money. He is so nice and friendly to work with, which is so important when someone is capturing your wedding and engagement.

We appreciated that he was always responsive to emails, and willing to skype, as neither of us live in the area now. We were not in a rush to get our video and photo album, but he did get us all of our prints very quickly, and the album was well-worth the wait. We loved being involved in the process of the al

When we had our first meeting with Pete and saw more of his portfolio and got to know his personality, we immediately knew we wanted him to be OUR GUY. We worked with Pete for our engagement and wedding photos. In both cases, the experience was more than we could have ever asked for. My husband is not always the most comfortable person in front of a camera, but Pete made the process easy. His prompt manner, kindness and sense of humor made our wedding day perfect and stress free. 217 Photography was by far the best decision I made for my wedding!! Pete and his team are an absolutely amazing group to work with. From day one speaking with Pete about our wedding I knew he was our guy. He has the most pleasant personality and is very responsive with emails and phone calls! The day of the wedding they were there on time and things ran so smoothly! I am so in love with my wedding photos!!! Pete's work is just so unique and beautiful! Pete is just the most amazing photographer. He shot our engagement pictures and our wedding, and we couldn't be happier. He was a joy to work with, from the first meeting through the wedding. We had so much fun shooting engagement pictures with him, and he kept me so calm the morning of my wedding. His pictures are phenomenal. He is easy to get in touch with, and always responds quickly. He worked with a great team for our wedding, and our guests had so much fun in the photo booth and with the props he brought. I would recommend Pete to anyone I know getting married or needing at portraits/pictures.
