Wedding Hair and Makeup
Kristen did an amazinggg job on my hair and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I had an updo and it lasted the entire day and night without any touch up, even with me dancing non stop the whole night! She was extremely accommodating and was able to get my bridal crew all ready for my wedding day on time! Her assistant did the makeup for all of my girls and they looked stunning!!! Would 1000% recommend to anyone. Kristen was easy to get along with and was able to work her magic and make me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day! ❤️ -

She even got my sisters thick and super long (like past her butt) in this amazing updo that wasn't overly large and looked perfect. Kristen was amazing and super responsive. She was able meet me whenever was good for me and did such great dry run with no ideas from my part. I just described my wedding, venue, dress and she threw some seas out there for me. She came to me on my wedding day and made it stress free. Loved working with her. -

Magdalena Sent on 04/01/2016Kristen was very accommodating to my entire Wedding Party. I had 9 bridesmaids and Of course both the Mothers. She was able to work with everyone's hair types and advised them on the hairstyles they chose. I was very pleased with her professionalism and flexibility. There was nothing that she couldn't do! She also stayed on schedule and coordinated with the makeup professional to ensure everyone was ready on time. Since my wedding, two of my bridesmaids have used Hair by Kristen for their weddings.
The quality of work is exceptional! I have very fine hair and pretty much every hairstyle I have ever gotten fell short of my expectations. Kristen made sure that my curls were tight with the right amount of support. Needless to say, my hair stayed for my ENTIRE WEDDING! I was extremely satisfied and would recommend Hair by Kristen to everyone! -

It was luck that I came across Kristen, honestly. At the time of my wedding I was struggling to find someone that was honest, personable, understanding, and just in general a fun person to be around. Going off the photos she had posted on the site, I could tell she was a good fit. When I met Kristen for my trial, she didn't have the shop yet but had big dreams for herself. I found her thanks to the website, Thumbtack. I had an idea of what I wanted, but couldn't really articulate it, and she had no problem seeing exactly what I wanted for myself and creating it. I didn't even have to make any changes. Sold. The day of my wedding, she was there on time, was able to attend to my ladies wants with no issues (most had very thick hair, or a lot of hair, some even thick & curly hair), and helped take away some of the stress on an already stressful day as it is. Unfortunately, I didn't have the pleasure of having my make-up done by her, as she was hired just for hair, but I have no doubt in my mind that any make-up artist she hires would have the same caliber as herself.
PS - When she did open the shop, I immediately left my former hairdesser and started going to her. I won't let anyone touch my hair anymore. Her range of experience and knowledge goes beyond anyone I've come in contact with in the past and I would highly recommend her even for personal services!
PPS - The products she used on me, were phenomenal. I woke up the next morning after (obviously) a wild night of drinking and dancing and everything was 100% in place, even my pearl clips were right where she put them. -

The team at Two Zero One salon are so awesome to work with! Kristen did my hair for my engagement shoot, bridal shower, and wedding and I couldn’t thank her enough for always making my hair look amazing! She is professional, attentive, and a joy to be around. On the day of my wedding Kristen and Nadie (my makeup artist) were punctual and had my bridesmaids and myself looking absolutely beautiful without a rush. Their personalities are one of a kind and they made our pre wedding time so much fun! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair, and my hair turned out exactly how I envisioned it. It was exactly how I pictured it to look like on my wedding day. Kristen even went out of her way to touch it up a couple of times throughout the day to make sure it stayed looking flawless. (I couldn’t thank her enough for that!) I’m so glad I chose them for my special day. Two zero One salon is now my go to for hair cuts, blowouts, and hair styling and I couldn’t recommend them enough! -

So awesome and taleted!
Kristen was great! Everyone's hair came out perfect, and all different styles. She even made time to do a friends hair who wasn't in the wedding who had no where to go.I'm a very anxious person but Kristen brought a calm/fun energy to the room, very thankful for that! Had a bad experience with the venue staff and she even helped us in that area, which was way beyond what would ever be asked for or expected, but EXTREMELY thankful for that! -

The best!
Kristen and Nay are the perfect tag team! They always feel like your life long friends and make you feel amazing. They listen and make your vision a reality! I go to them daily for my hair and make up and I wouldn’t have it any other way! When it came to my wedding it was a no brainer! -

Wedding Day
I can honestly recommend Kristen and her team for your wedding. I had a large bridal court and managed it all. She was the best for a stressful bride like myself answered all my text messages before the wedding and even after. Very professional and punctual and very pleasant to even talk and calm you down while you’re getting your hair done. -

Nicole Sent on 12/21/2017Kristen made me and my bridal party feel very comfortable on my big day. I have never loved my hair more than how it looked on my wedding day! My hair usually does not hold curls well, but she made it last without making it look too stiff early on, and not too flat later in the night. All of my bridesmaids look amazing, and were very happy with how they looked. I would highly recommend her! -

Kristen and her team were amazing. They were responsible for the remarkable hair on my wedding day everyone absolutely loved my hair. Everyone was very satisfied, from the bridesmaids, the moms, and down to my little flower girl. I can’t thank Kristen and her team for making my day incredible and making me feel like a princess! -

Kristen and her entire team were such a pleasure to work with on my wedding day. Not only were they extremely efficient and kept our party of 12 on time the entire day but they also helped with little things here and there like steaming my veil and calming my mom’s nerves- which truly meant so much to me. They did a fantastic job with my hair- it was exactly as it looked in the trial- and they truly listened to each bridesmaid and they all looked incredible. Everyone’s hair stayed perfectly throughout the night! We were all so happy with he end result and I would highly recommend them! -

8/31/2019 Perona Farms Wedding
LOVED Kristen and her team. So helpful, made sure our hair held up in the NJ August heat and humidity. Loved them so much that they’re now my regular salon and I’ve told all the brides I know to go to 201. My hair was so perfect and retro glam. Loved so so much. -
