Great Experience! I Highly Recommend Two & A Quarter Photography!

I used Two & A Quarter Photography to capture the moment I proposed to my fiance in mid-November. Ally was fantastic. She was incredibly skilled and did a great job capturing the moment and setting us up to take great pictures in the shoot that followed. My fiance and I couldn't be happier with the pictures. I would highly recommend Two & A Quarter Photography to anyone who is looking for a professional photographer in Bermuda to capture some of your most important moments.

Amazing experience and beautiful photos

The Two & Quarter team (Mark and Ally) were great to deal with from the start and were very professional, and always very responsive to emails. We met with them ahead of time to discuss the plan for the day - they were very flexible and had great suggestions as they have a lot of experience taking photos in Bermuda, and particularly in St.George's where we were getting married. We just received the photos today and absolutely love them, couldn't be happier - we cannot wait to share them with family and friends! Definitely book with Two & Quarter if you're looking for professionalism, flexibility, and most importantly a team who can capture stunning photos of your big day.

Wonderful to work with and gorgeous photos!

I was nervous about planning a vow renewal in Bermuda from CT, but Ally was so amazing to work with. From my first email to the day of the vow renewal to the delivery of our photos, I couldn't have been happier! Thank you Ally for making our 10 years so special!

Bermuda's BEST Photography!

Upon speaking to Mark over the phone on what him & Ally could offer to capture our wedding day, we knew without a doubt their word was gold. They came highly recommended to us by a few other vendors and we ended up going with vendors they recommended as well. If you're looking for the ease, communication, quality & budget saver, they were the package deal for us. I can't praise them enough for how satisfied we were with our wedding photography and how wonderful it was to have Ally there to capture our day. Her presence added to our perfect wedding afternoon with family and friends.

The Perfect Mix of Professional and Friendly

Husband and wife team Mark and Ally were absolutely amazing!! We used them for our engagement photos last Christmas, as well as our wedding day this May. In the lead up to both shoots they made themselves readily available over email and phone (which was important for us as we live in the UK) and provided great ideas for our shoot using their experienced eye and excellent local knowledge of St. Georges. They took the time to meet with us and find out exactly what we wanted from our photos as well as making some really great recommendations.

Having the two of them meant that they were able to capture both myself and my wife getting ready for our big day and save time during the reception drinks with Ally photographing the bride and her bridesmaids and Mark tackling me and my groomsmen.

Where they really excelled was making everyone feel so relaxed and natural during the group shots, something easier said than done! They had some great ideas for those fun group shots as well. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. For any event Two and A Quarter has to be your first choice.

I'll be definitely using them again, hopefully for some portrait work soon!

Matulka Destination Wedding

Mark and Ally did an extraordinary job of capturing our wedding day! We were absolutely thrilled with all of all wedding pictures and feel like we relive the day when we look at them. Our friends and family feel the same way and have enjoyed viewing the pictures over the holidays.
Bill and I had a destination wedding in Bermuda. Mark and Ally made themselves available to discuss any questions we had on several occasions and ensured we were comfortable for the big day.

Fantastic Photographers and Experience!

Two & Quarter photographed our wedding on a rainy Tuesday. We greatly appreciated Mark's humor, professionalism and willingness to take pictures at the beach despite the rain! We were so pleased with Mark's demeanor and for his part in keeping our wedding day true to our vision. Our photos arrived very promptly and they are beautiful! I highly recommend Two & Quarter!

Excellent!

Ally was our photographer for our engagement photos and wedding. We are not the type of people who love taking pictures and usually feel really awkward if someone is photographing us...but Ally made us feel so comfortable and really captured some amazing shots. Our photos came back so quickly and we had so many to choose from. We loved being able to share the link with our friends and family.

We HIGHLY recommend Two & Quarter and will definitely use them for any other photo needs!

After looking at many different photographers website's for our intimate wedding in Bermuda we decided on Two and Quarter based on their creativity and variety of fabulous photos. I'm not photogenic so it was really important to me to hire someone who could really capture me and the beauty of our wedding day and Ally did not disappoint! In fact, the pictures were so creative and beautiful that they made me cry! Ally has a gift, she is a true artist and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Thank you for capturing our perfect wedding day! We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Mark, maybe next time!

We live in the US New Hampshire and we took a cruise to Bermuda to get married. I found Two & Quarter on a website looking up photography In Bermuda. We emailed them and quickly got communication rolling with there fast response. We were looking for a price not over the top and were asked if we would like to use there Intern Ashley. We weren’t sure what to expect, but wanted some pictures so we decided to go for it. Being so far away and not being able to communicate the days we were on the ship and just hope for the best that everyone shows up at the place of the wedding was so nerve wrecking but she promised she’d be there and she was! We are SO glad we did!! Ashley was Amazing! Very professional, friendly, made us feel comfortable and really cared about what we wanted. She took AMAZING photos. You’d think out of 199 photos there would be a few that you don’t like.... NOPE! We Loved them ALL. She captured amazing moments that we will cherish forever. Thank you so much Ashley for the amazing job you did. We cannot thank you enough!

We initially used Mark and Ally for engagement shots, which were incredible, and I ended up having an album made of the photos for my wedding guest book. As my wedding approached and it looked like the weather was not going to cooperate, Mark and Ally made sure that I had no reason to worry, as they had several ideas up their sleeve to make sure every thing was perfect.
At the ceremony they were both full of energy, and seemed to be everywhere at once, mastering a balancing act of getting guests to comply with what was needed for great shots, while being thoroughly entertained. I am so excited to see the wedding photos, I know they will be gorgeous!

We had Two & Quarter for our wedding and they did not disappoint. They are the most chill and friendly photographers ever. They made sure to capture every moment of our wedding , and we will definitely use them again for future events- and recommend them of course.

Their picture quality is top notch, and they make sure to capture even the smallest of moments- be it a smile at something- or you cracking up at a joke.

When you plan a destination wedding, you put a lot of faith in people you don't know. Mark was one of those people for us. Immediately, Mark proved himself to be professional and resourceful. His humorous personality helped us through the multiple pictures we took. We haven't seen the final pics, but I am confident we will be pleased with them. Trust in Mark and you will not be sorry.

Book them as soon as possible. They are great with animals and with different settings. The husband and wife team will coordinate which is better suited or available for your event. Specifically speaking, Alley is allergic to horses. So, Mark was our photographer.

Mark and Ally are such a great team. They captured every moment! They are very responsible and love what they do. On our day it was very hot and Mark was like our personal assistant with a towel and hair breaks. They most definitely have an eye for the perfect lighting. I seriously can't say enough about how awesome Ally and Mark were. To set the scene, my husband and I decided to elope without much planning. We contacted Two & Quarter less than a month before our arrival in Bermuda. In addition to the late notice, we unknowing chose to get married on a national holiday. Ally and Mark went above and beyond any expectations we had. In my lack of planning, I forgot my dress was lace up in the back and Ally actually helped me get into it! They both have incredible attention to detail and made sure everything was perfect. My photos are stunning and to top it all off, they were hand delivered to our hotel in four days which is unheard of! With the flash drive, which was adorable in itself, there was a handwritten postcard and a sticker.

I'm going to be as bold to say I have NEVER had such amazing service. I would suggest Two & Quarter to anyone who is looking for photographers in Bermuda!

Mark & Ally were the photographers for my daughter Rebecca's wedding. I cannot say enough about them. From our first meeting I knew they were the right fit for us. So friendly, accommodating and professional in every way. But the proof is always in the pudding!! So when I saw the final pictures today, I was absolutely blown away. Working with Mark & Ally was great. This was actually our second time booking an anniversary session with them. Mark and Ally are both tremendous photographers! Each of the photos came out absolutely flawless. We couldn't be happier with the service and product we received from Two & Quarter.

We received such a diversity of photos, from beautiful planned shots to candid photos that captured our wedding day. My husband and I didn't want photos that looked staged; Mark and Ally really listened to our ideas and concerns and tailored the day and the photos perfectly.

On top of amazing photos, Mark was a joy throughout the day. He made us comfortable and brought so much laughter. All of our guests continue to comment on how much fun he was, and in many ways, he felt like part of our party. He went above and beyond what we expected.

Mark and Ally are also incredibly responsive. We're based in NYC and aware that our expectations about vendors and response time is (probably annoyingly) much different than Bermuda. Mark and Ally responded to every question and request within minutes and always so pleasantly and helpfully. They also have a really lovely Instagram page, so I recommend you follow them as well!

I wish I knew more people getting married in Bermuda so I could recommend Two & Quarter.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with Mark and Ally for both our wedding photography and our day-after photo shoot. The quality of their work speaks for itself; they have a rare talent for capturing the essence of a person's spirit. The thing that impacted our experience most, when compared to other photographers we have worked with in the past, was their kind-hearted and fun-loving nature. We genuinely had fun with Mark and Ally which made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. My husband is generally not comfortable with photography, but both Mark and Ally were able to put him at ease and his personality really shines through in our photos.

Our wedding in Bermuda was a destination wedding, we had found Two & Quarter online through a Google search. Another thing that really stood out for us in our experience was their flexibility and professionalism. While on the island we were often hard to get a hold of and at the mercy of public transportation. Mark and Ally were incredibly understanding and took it in stride. Throughout our whole wedding planning process they were incredibly supportive, they made themselves available to us to chat over skype, offering suggestions with regards to vendors whenever I asked it of them and always replied to my emails in a timely manner.

Words cannot describe how happy we are with our experience with Two & Quarter. It is so rare to find photographers who are as passionate as Mark and Ally are about capturing special moments in other people's lives. Their teamwork was impressive to watch; each having their strengths, they encourage each other to evolve their craft. They are genuinely good people and that came through in every interaction we had with them. We truly feel blessed that we were able to work with such talented and caring people. We can't wait to book our next session with them the next time we are in Bermuda!

My wife and I recently used Mark for a photo shoot on our honeymoon to Bermuda. The experience was far and away beyond what we could have imagined. He was unbelievably accommodating and friendly. The quality, creativity and professionalism really enhanced the experience as our shoot was a complete work of artistic genius from the creative poses he had us do, to the fantastic locations that he selected, many of which we never would have thought of on our own. Additionally, although he conducts business in an extremely professional and artistic way he kept it light and was very humble not taking himself or the shoot too seriously which is important to keep everyone lite and to make it all the more enjoyable which he did. It is not I ky the quality of the product but the way he did it, explaining all the sites that we went to or past - kind of operating as a tour guide although that is not his job - in short, just extremely cordial, accomodating, creative and professional. You can't possibly ask for better and I am sure that although we did not have the pleasure of meeting Ally, that she operates in the same fashion. Very highly reccomended!!!!!

I'm am not photogenic and very awkward (think: robot arms) - yet despite feeling very self conscious about the act of being photographed the photos turned out AMAZING.

We are definitely going to do yearly family portrait sessions with Mark and Ally.

My husband and I loved Ally immediately. We discussed our vision, our concerns, and our style on the phone twice prior to actually meeting with her on our wedding day. She quickly responded to our emails and was always ready to discuss things on the phone. She has a fun and bubbly personality, which worked well with us. She was prompt to arrive on the day and brought an assistant. Everything went smoothly until it started to rain. However, Ally decided to make the best of the situation and started shooting us hiding from the rain, which turned out to be my favorite pictures of the day! She got every shot we had discussed (remembering them when I didn't) and we couldn't be happier with the photos. When she sent the USB drive it was packaged in the most adorable packaging it was like getting a little present in the mail. From start to finish it was certainly a better experience than I'd imagined. Thank you so much Ally!

Mark and Ally were incredible to work with! They were professional, but were so much fun and made us laugh the whole time. Our smiles were genuine and the pictures were gorgeous! The composition and light in each one was perfect. They took a great variety of poses and settings. They really listened to what we wanted and let us be natural and didn't pose us or instruct us in a way that we would feel uncomfortable or look awkward, but made good suggestions about angles, sitting/standing, etc. We are so happy with how our pictures turned out! Mark and Ally were truly a joy to work with and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any event! They are so talented and both have such a gifted eye for backgrounds, settings, lighting, and capturing emotion.

We used Two and a Quarter to photograph our vow renewal on the beach in Bermuda. They really gave us many fantastic photos! We had our entire family (including small active kids!) and extended family. They did a wonderful job in both capturing "in the moment" and then more traditional poses for us. I also found them to be very knowledgeable about the island and weather, sun changes etc since they are natives. Even if we return for a regular family vacation I would hire them again to capture some fun family photos. They were organized, timely and very easy to work with as well which made it stress-free!

I would recommend Two + Quarter Studios to any couple. They truly provide a personalized experience and capture your own person style as well. My husband and I had a less traditional style wedding with a backyard reception and this still didn't stop their creativity. Our shots were dynamic! We remember at times one of our photographers, Mark was climbing rocks on the beach & even laying in the street to get the perfect angle of one of our local lighthouses in the background. No other local vendors have the luxury of sending you two photographers and their prices are competitive. They are simply the best on the island

I couldn't have asked for a more helpful, professional team of photographers! I hired Mark and Ally for a photo shoot in Bermuda, and when last-minute scheduling snafus caused issues with the shoot date and time, they worked with me to find a time that worked, going above and beyond what the contract dictated. Mark shot my pictures in beautiful scenic St. George--not only does he know the area front and back, he knows all the best places for memorable backdrops and unique street scenes. We stopped traffic! I can see why they are a favorite for wedding photos and for portraits--I felt instantly comfortable and in good hands, and Mark and Ally did a great job making sure I was getting what I wanted out of the shoot, checking in and showing me the photos as they were taken. I am a dancer, and finding someone who can shoot dance and movement and do it well is incredibly rare. Mark and Ally totally got my vision and have been a dream to work with from first email contact onward. Hire them, you won't regret it.

My fiancée and I travelled from Chicago to Bermuda in February and wanted to take advantage of the warmer weather for our engagement pictures. Coordinating the date and location was a breeze with Mark and Ally of Two+Quarter Studios. Not being familiar with the area, they asked for what we envisioned our pictures to be and delivered 110%. They had excellent recommendations for photo locations and despite the rainy weather, their easy going yet professional demeanor made it a great experience. Ally & Mark were darling!! They were just as excited as we were. They were a younger version of ourselves and were able to capture exactly what we were feeling. I have chosen one of their pictures for our annual Christmas card......it was so hard to choose because ALL the pictures were incredible!!

They were so personable that I felt I had known them for years!! They were able to incorporate traditional pictures and additionally add in more of a current feel as well.

Ally was such a pleasure to work with. Having known her for years and knowing her bubbly and creative personality, I knew that the shoot would be great fun! We absolutely LOVED working with Ally. From the starting gate she was so willing to accommodate the photos that we wanted to include. Wedding planning is not easy and when I had to cancel my original photographer 40 days before my wedding I was devastated. When I contacted Ally + Mark they responded so quickly and were very sympathetic to my craziness. LUCKILY they were available! After viewing their beautiful photos and speaking to them on the phone I knew I wanted them for my wedding. I am happy that everything happened the way it did because my photos were absolutely beautiful and working with them just seemed so easy and fun! It was an absolute pleasure to work with you both!

I loved working with Mark and Ally, they were perfectly suited for our wedding style which was fairly laid back and fun. They were great in understanding that although we wanted a few formal shots, we're much more into capturing the random fun moments that happen.

If you are looking for fun, talented and genuine photographers on Bermuda than these are your people. A couple weeks ago my long time fiance and I eloped to Bermuda from Boston. Knowing pictures would be the only way our friends and family could spend this day with us I was very nervous about choosing a photographer. After emailing and chatting with Ally I knew she would be a great fit for our day and I was right, she is absolutely wonderful. She (and her assistant Allen!) made both of us feel instantly comfortable and captured the emotion of our wedding day perfectly. We announced our marriage to our friends and family that night and the following morning had a perfect sneak peak of photos to share with everyone that Ally had put together. It truly allowed people to feel connected to our time in Bermuda and I'm SO grateful for that. Two & Quarter was a lovely and important part of our day and you can't go wrong with them if you are looking for a photographer on this beautiful island!

We came to Bermuda looking for a beautiful destination wedding and wanted to ensure we captured every moment. Mark and Ally from the beginning were wonderful to work with. Coming from Chicago our main way of communicating was via Skype and email. Mark and Ally were always very responsive, professional and timely. Their online payment system is very easy to navigate and we loved how our pictures turned out. In addition, you get a USB with all of your pictures loaded on them and ready to print! The USB came within two months of our wedding and we are now able to share our photos with our family and friends. I would definitely recommend Mark & Ally for your wedding or any special occasion you need captured!

We were very satisfied with the preparedness and flexibility as well as the quality and diversity of the photos from Two and a Quarter. Mark was a fantastic photographer, we love the final product, and he also brought a good "vibe" to the event -- he made the photoshoot fun. He captured all our best moments but was really unobtrusive. I will definitely recommend them to friends.

The Two + Quarter team, were very professional and easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable and got us laughing. I found really this helpful because it set us at ease so that we weren't over thinking the smiles! Great choice of venue to shoot as well. We gave the photographers our POV of what sort of shots we were looking for. They found this ruin of an old fortress. The photos had a very rustic, fairytale feeling. We especially loved them in black and white.

Our photography experience with Two & Quarter, was horrendous by all accounts.
We hired Mark and Ally to shoot our wedding in Bermuda last month. However, on the wedding day, Ally was the only one who showed up, and she was accompanied by a young and inexperienced intern. It turned out, that Ally herself was also extremely inexperienced. She lacked basic lighting techniques that are taught in photography101. There was also no thought or direction from Ally in terms of where the images should be taken or how we should pose. Furthermore, she paid no attention to detail. In many of the images our heads and arms are cocked at unflattering angles, stray hairs are blocking my face and my necklace was crooked, and eyes were closed in many of the family portraits.

We were immediately concerned about our pictures because of how the wedding day unfolded, however, nothing could have prepared us for the final product. We were sent a disc in the mail that had 680 images. Of those images, there are maybe 15 photos that I would consider displaying in an album. It is the worst collection of wedding photos I have ever seen.

My husband and I are devastated and disappointed by Two & Quarter's lack of experience and professionalism. We feel like we were robbed of our memories and our money.
