Beach Wedding
Alan was wonderful and helped make our special day perfect! We were able to have a very intimate, personal, and fun wedding which is exactly what we wanted! Meeting with Alan on zoom gave us the opportunity not only for him to get to know us as a couple and as individuals, but for us to get to know him as well since we don't live in Charleston and wouldn't be meeting him face to face until the actual ceremony. He was in constant communication with me, as well as my husband if either of us needed anything or had any questions. By the time our wedding day arrived, we new exactly what to do and what to expect! Im so glad I found and chose Alan with Two Guys and a Wedding!

Alan and Rob were great. We really enjoyed working with them and they took a lot of stress off of our plate given we were out of state to where our wedding was. Lighthouse Wedding
We Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding. My husband and I have been married for 3 years but never had the chance to have a wedding due to being military. Two Guys and a wedding was not only professional but made us feel at ease during the whole process. They even helped us keep an eye on our 2-year-old daughter during the ceremony. Marriage on the beach
We are from Virginia, and with the pandemic unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to get married until the end of next year. We decided to have something small and found two guys and a wedding. It was perfect everything we wanted, Vann and his wife were amazing, so sweet, caring, and made our wedding day exciting and fun. Even though we had just met them we felt like we had known them for years. The photos we received were spectacular, I fell in love with them so much. Our experience overall was amazing, we got married at Sullivan’s Island and the day was perfect. Even though their were people we didn’t know on the beach we surprised them with a wedding. You could just tell they were all in their feels and were extremely happy, it was a very cool feeling to connect with strangers on our special day. I wouldn’t have had my wedding day any different than the way it was.

Vann and his wife Sue were absolutely wonderful! We planned to do a vow renewal for our ten year wedding anniversary we didn’t think would happen. But Vann communicates with us professionally and kept us up to date on everything, including the weather. We had a gorgeous, socially distant vow renewal on the beach that was absolutely perfect. Sue took gorgeous photos and we were so happy with the overall experience! Could not recommend them more highly to anyone!

Perfect Pandemic Social Distancing Ceremony
I am so grateful for Vann Cothern. We contacted him on a Wednesday, as everyone cancelled on us due to this pandemic. We met he and his wife that afternoon and we connected through emails and texts and just 3 short days later we are husband and wife.

We came to Vann with a unique situation, our first beach wedding we planned four years ago was completely rained out and left us without any of the pictures we wanted. We also had a horrible experience with another Charleston area wedding planning company.
This year we wanted to have a vow renewal, on the beach, with our two dogs and Vann and his team delivered! Rain threatened our ceremony again and Vann was very flexible in moving it up a day early so we did not have a repeat of the first time. He picked out an absolutely beautiful spot on Sullivan's Island and met us there on time. He and Maria were extremely professional, thoroughly accommodated our dogs, and listened to everything we wanted! Maria captured breath taking photos and moments that will last us a life time!
We can't thank them enough for making this day "right" for us again. Our only regret was not using his services the first go around! I would highly recommend Vann to anyone looking to plan a Charleston area wedding!

Vann was simply amazing. We met the morning of the ceremony at the Wentworth Mansion in Charleston, SC for a briefing. We were staying at the mansion and also getting married there. It was sort of an elopement since it was only Joe and I. We found Vann to be extremely personable and comfortable to be around. We talked about each other and our families and how Joe and I met. A few weeks prior to the ceremony I had asked Vann for a recommendation for hair and makeup and he was right on the mark with that as I loved the way both turned out.
Vann's wife Sue was our photographer and she too was great. She took about 300 photos and one photo is better than the next. She captured great lighting and chose the perfect background for each and every photo. The ceremony was beautiful. Vann had suggested a sand ceremony which I had never heard about. It was where Joe and I each had our own cylinder of sand and we poured into one large cylinder. My sand was light colored and Joe's was a little darker. Once both sands were combined they made a beautiful swirl in the large cylinder. It was such a lovely idea and we will cherish this keepsake forever. We felt so comfortable with Vann and Sue and felt like we were all fast friends so we invited them back to Circa 1886 for a celebratory cocktail.
We would highly recommend Two Guys and a Wedding. Vann and Sue were extremely professional and friendly.
In our eyes they were THE BEST!!!

Vann officiated an outstanding Christian based ceremony for us in our backyard and his lovely wife, Sue took beautiful pictures of it. Not just 10 or 15 pictures like a lot wedding photographers do, but around 100 or so of them. She gave us a zip drive of all the pictures and created an album of about 20 or so of what she considered the best of the best of them and they were. They have a good link of sample wedding vows, both Christian and non Christian that a couple can modify to their liking which was very helpful, should you chose to not write your own. They were a very friendly couple and made you feel like they were family. Lastly, you could tell they loved each other and the work they did. I highly recommend them for your wedding at a reasonable price.

We were so lucky to find Two guys and a Wedding. Cannot say enough about how good our experience was! Every last detail was perfect. We eloped with my 7 year old son and they did an amazing job including him in the ceremony. The flowers were perfect, exactly how I described I wanted them; and the pictures they took for us are beautiful. It was easy, stress free, and intimate. Exactly what we wanted! Vann officiated our destination wedding in Isle of Palms and obviously played a very big role in our marriage! He was very easy to work with as we were planning our wedding from out of town and could not meet in person until the day before. We had phone calls early in the process to discuss our plans and details. Vann was very flexible in allowing my fiance and I to tailor our wedding ceremony to fit us and incorporate certain elements. He also made suggestions on how to flawlessly tie in some requests from us and our family members in order to create a wonderful memorable ceremony. He also even uses an ipad to read the ceremony so that pages are not flying around during the ceremony which I thought was so clever! Vann was very calm and collected and that certainly helped when we were hit with Tropical Storm Bonnie on our wedding day! He helped put our minds at ease as he was present at our rehearsal the day before and was also very flexible in getting to our new ceremony site when it was moved last minute due to weather. Vann was always prompt and professional throughout the entire process and he had the perfect voice in reading our ceremony which we will always have to remember on our wedding video :) I would highly recommend him to any bride!

Our vows were personalized just for us in the most perfect location at the Magnolia Plantation & all the moments were captured in pictures by Sue. They were very professional but also put us at ease & felt like old friends. Our day couldn't have been any more perfect than it was! These sweet souls even reminded me to breath. Working with Vann from Two Guys and A Wedding in Charleston, SC was a wonderful experience. As an older couple renewing our wedding vows, he put us at ease with every photograph. We chose Two Guys and a Wedding for two reasons. Great reviews, and when my fiancé spoke to Vann Cochran, he connected with him right away. He thought he was friendly, offered helpful advice and he genuinely seemed to want to help us make our ceremony special for us, rather than it be just another wedding he was officiating.
He met with us before the wedding in Charleston to discuss the day and offer suggestions (we live in NC) and was there to help us with our Rehearsal (his recommendation, which we strongly encourage!) Also, we were able to pick and choose from different ceremony scripts he gave us in order to make the day our own. We had many guests comment on how much they enjoyed our ceremony and how much they liked our officiant. We highly recommend Vann Cochran and Two Guys and a Wedding!

They helped us with a time that would be perfect for pictures and temperature seeing that we live in North Carolina and wasn't sure about sunset times and so on. I would highly recommend two guys and a wedding, they helped make my day perfect. They were also helpful with recommending a restaurant near by for family and friends after the wedding.

Vann made our day special right from the start. He was easy to work with, professional and knowledgable. Vann has a compassion about him that really shines through when speaking with him. This compassion was evident when he spoke our vows. Vann's wife, Sue, took amazing photographs. I'll admit we weren't sure how they would come out since we didn't hire a seperate photography company. After looking at them that day, hiring Sue was was the best decision we made after hiring Vann. Thank you both for making our day incredibly special and memorable.

Van Was very curtious and patient with us while keeping us updated on the weather and suitable locations in Charleston. Vann was one of the easiest parts of planning my wedding---he was great to work with and I received many compliments from my family about his demeanor and how well he did the ceremony. We had an outdoor wedding for 65 people and no one had a problem hearing him during the ceremony (even without a mic). I hope that you'll consider him for your wedding!

My husband and I renewed our wedding vows recently on our 25th wedding anniversary. Vann was wonderful through the entire process from our initial contact to the wedding day. He was always prompt in responding to any questions we had and made sure the ceremony was perfect. He was prepared and his delivery sincere. His wife Sue took the photos and they were some of the most beautiful wedding photos I have seen. She captured us in a natural, relaxed way, and photographed the beauty of the sunset at the beach beautifully. They were both so nice to work with and made the day special in their own unique way. We had a last minute wedding and they weren’t bothered at all by the short notice or the quick turnaround required - they were also very flexible - contacted them on Thursday and we got married the following Tuesday - they provided invoice and contract on Saturday. They also are patient and understanding - like most weddings an unexpected delay occurred and they were extremely understanding. Vann’s appearance and demeanor were exactly what I thought an officiant should be - neat stylish friendly sense of humor plus the right touch of seriousness during the ceremony. Sue was also so nice and exhibited exactly the right combination of firm direction by someone who knows photography while still being amenable to requests. I don’t know how I got so lucky to find such a perfect vendor but you won’t be dissapointed if you choose Two Guys and a Wedding. In my opinion they are a wonderful plus a good value. Ten stars!!!

We had a fantastic experience with Two guys and a Wedding. We decided to renew our vows for our 22nd anniversary while we were vacationing in Charleston. We wanted something small and intimate. It was amazing! Van and Sue helped us plan the perfect service. We ended up with a windy overcast day but thanks to their professionalism our pictures were beautiful. Two Guys and A Wedding was the best decision that we made for my husband and myself. Charleston White Point Gardens Gazebo is absolutely the most romantic historic place to get married. Vann Cochran and his wife are both so nice & professional and friendly. The couple also have a unique story of their own how they met. I recommend Two Guys an a Wedding to any couple wishing for private ceremony like we had or a big wedding as well. Charleston is very beautiful place to get married.

Enjoyable experience
We did a vow renewal ceremony. We only knew we would be at Patriots Point. Vann picked the perfect location for the ceremony. Pictures turned out lovely.

Vann and his wife helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect! Sue is such a talented photographer. They were so accommodating and helpful on our special day. They felt like family. We were from out of town and Vann referred me to the best makeup/hairstylist in town-Michelle Cordova. She was so fun and we enjoyed mimosas and good music while she worked. She helped get me ready and delivered me to the wedding site. They have a great team and we are so thankful they were all a part part of our special day.

What a great experience! My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in Charleston, and chose Vann from Two Guys and a Wedding to oversee our vow renewal ceremony. Vann suggested the beautiful Sullivan's Island as the location, and performed a great ceremony. We had nice, professional pictures taken at the event and were very pleased with our overall experience. Would highly recommend!

We utilized Vann and his team's services for our officiant, archway, flowers, and photography. All of the wedding was planned sight-unseen and without any in-person meetings, from Illinois. Vann provided us guidance on the vows and allowed us to choose the overall ceremony we wanted; took care of the archway (beautiful); provided flowers (perfect); and photography--which we got shortly after our wedding. Everything turned out perfectly for our special day!

Vann & Sue were great! They had several examples of vows that we could choose from and even gave us some suggestions on a venue. Sue got some great pictures and overall we were very pleased with the experience.

Vann officiated our wedding and did a wonderful job! It was very helpful that he had a few sample non-denominational wedding ceremony scripts to get us started. Once we picked one we were able to tweak it a little bit and add a few readings in there to make it personal for us. He suggested a sand ceremony, which we loved. Pricing was very reasonable, considering the travel all the way to Kiawah Island. Vann has our highest recommendation.

Ok, So I will admit, I was a little hesitant to try something like this with someone I did not know. But let me tell you, Vann is a guy that is down to earth and easy going just like myself and made me feel very comfortable from the first time that we spoke on the phone. His willingness to communicate with us off and on right up to the final days continued to ensure me that we had made a great choice.
When our day arrived, they did great! Vann and Sue are a great duo in this business for sure.
