Jen was a dream to work with! When describing our vision, Jen had just the right questions to ask to build out the perfect light & vibrant floral design for our wedding, giving recommendations that met our budget and desired look. With several options provided for components like mothers and bridesmaids, it was easy to make our final selections and adjust. The florals she selected work amazingly with the bridesmaid palette and paper designs throughout the day. -

Jen was awesome! I was trying to stay on budget and did mostly greenery but added flowers where I could. She was so awesome and never pressured me to add more to anything. She repurposed the flowers from the arch for our sweetheart table which is not only great for the pocketbook but also very eco friendly! She also did the cake decoration for no charge which was so sweet (I think she gets to have some cake as a perk for herself from our venue, which I love). I would highly recommend her! -

PERFECT Wedding Flowers! Plus Jen is Awesome!
***THE FLORIST - I had to plan a west coast wedding from the east coast, and Jen was so professional, kind and communicative throughout that whole process (by phone and email), which made the florals so easy from my end! She was very responsive every time I sent her updates about the number in our bridal party, or photos of the different dresses, suits, and fabric swatches, or questions about certain items that I wasn't sure I wanted, or the unexpected increase in guest count. Then, when I was able to visit CA briefly in April, she welcomed me, my fiance and mom into her shop, where I got so excited because I could see just how beautiful her work was in-person. She even gave me advice for my particular venue, which was outdoors, and made great recommendations for table decor so that it would be small enough to accommodate all the food and drinks for the family-style dinner, big enough to be clearly visible, and heavy enough to not get blown away by potential summer breezes. Also, Jen is so friendly and warm!
***THE FLOWERS - Jen's gorgeous creations PERFECTLY encapsulated my vision! All I did was give her a color palette (heavy on pinks, purples, greens) and some adjectives to describe the wedding "vibe" I wanted (outdoors, organic, whimsical, romantic, spring/summery), and did she deliver! Her attention to detail ended up making the event feel like a "Pinterest" wedding because of how aesthetically breathtaking the end result was. I was already obsessed with the venue I picked in Santa Barbara (Elings Park), but her efforts elevated the gorgeous scenery by adding the perfect amount of color and vibrancy to the (mostly green/brown) setting. I could even see how she had made the effort to select different flowers for the floral pieces our moms wore, based on the pictures of the dresses I had sent her (one mom wore green, another purple). Oh, and the set-up and break-down was all done so efficiently and professionally, I didn't even notice it happen! Jen is the BEST! -

Seriously, Twisted Twig / Jen couldn't have nailed it more!
Twisted Twig met with me on numerous occasions whereby Jen understood my tastes, likes & dislikes, and listened to all my thoughts + images from my PowerPoint deck, and then, executed it perfectly. She turned my flower vision into a truly magical wedding with breathtaking flowers, a deconstructed arch for our ceremony, and potted vase arrangements. Also, used her candle package for our reception décor, both mid-size and tall hurricane candles. The final layout of the flowers both outside and inside were both memorable and stunning.
Communication with Jen was always timely, courteous, and respectful. She took the time to participate in the formal walk-through and had a sample floral arrangement + candles to create a mock-up of our reception guest tables. Jen is easy to work with, making this experience seamless and collaborative. Sharing her expertise to providing me with a few options or suggestions that were consistent with our vision.
I would use her over and over, not a single complaint. -

As an event professional, I am particular about the vendors I work with. For my elopement, I selected Jen and the Twisted Twig Fine Florals which was an excellent decision. My bouquet was SO beautiful and I could not have been more thrilled. She incorporated the flower varieties I love and added some of her favorites which were the perfect addition. I took my bouquet with me on our honeymoon and it lasted the entire week. I highly recommend working with Jen--she is creative, kind, and easy to work with! -

Jen is absolutely amazing. She is so good at what she does and it was an absolute blast working with her! She did our flowers both for our elopement and our big party, and she blew us away both times. I asked for a flower crown at the eleventh hour and it was so beautiful that I actually had it preserved. She has great taste, incredible instincts, and makes your life as a bride/groom so easy. I am definitely a Type A planner but I get overwhelmed with decisions and didn't know a thing about flowers. Jen is so knowledgable and thinks of EVERYTHING, I was so comforted after every phone call! She truly has a check list that thinks of everything which makes the process so easy, and she even put a "vision board" together for us which I loved. Again, I am a terrible decision maker, which means she had to use her intuition at times, and she even made up her own name for my style (Glam Tropical). And from all my research, her pricing is very competitive and she's also very transparent about costs, which I appreciated.
She was timely and professional and always cheery, and I absolutely loved my flowers. I would give her 10 stars if I could. We love you, Jen! -

Jenn and her team did an amazing job of taking our pinterest boards and messy descriptions and turning them into a show-stopping floral landscape for our wedding. Having designed at our venue many times before (including another wedding the evening before our own!), she did a great job designing arrangements that perfectly complemented the space while highlighting their own beauty. The ceremony arch, aisle decorations, table florals, lounge area, and all the other little accents that blew our guests minds were absolutely perfect. Thank you so much!! -

Stunning Flowers and Professional Service
Thank you Jen at Twisted Twig in Santa Barbara! I took one look at her website and knew she was the one. She did an absolutely killer job with my wedding bouquet, arch flowers, boutonniere, and table flowers. She even threw in several hair pieces that were above and beyond! After a couple emails, we chatted over the phone and we reviewed my budget and came up with a ideas. I was embarassed since I really didn't have too many ideas at the time, but Jen made me feel at ease and I had a much better plan in mind after talking to her. Jen ran with my vague ideas and made them better than I could have imagined. Friends and family all commented on how lovely the flowers were and we even got stopped on the street and complimented by a wedding planner! Very reasonable pricing compared to others on the central coast. I had to change the day of timeline a couple times, and she was very gracious in accomodating us. Don't hesitate, hire Jen!! -

Look no further!
Jen is the best! We hired Jen a year before our wedding and spoke over the phone a few times and worked on a vision board over email. She was very responsive and always willing to answer questions and make any changes I requested. We ended up scaling back our floral needs as the pandemic forced us to cancel our large wedding and instead host a small backyard ceremony. Jen was incredibly kind and worked with us to revise our budget and floral needs. On the day of the wedding, she provided us with the most gorgeous chuppah flowers (which she set up), as well as a bridal bouquet for me and a boutonniere for my husband. The flowers were simply stunning. I gave her somewhat vague descriptions of what I wanted, and she somehow captured my vision perfectly! The flowers added a romantic flair to our event, and I have received dozens of comments about how much everyone loved my bouquet. I would absolutely recommend Jen to anyone looking for a florist that's easy to work with and has an eye for the beautiful. -

We had a pretty tight budget so couldn't spend as much as I wanted on our flowers. I had heard horror stories from my friends about how their floral budget ballooned out of control so I was a little scared to pick out a florist as a result. But Jen came highly recommended by our venue and they promised that she stays within budget. Boy did she deliver. Not only did she stay within our budget but she also delivered the most beautiful flowers I could have ever dreamed of. She listened intently to my requests and made suggestions for keeping the flowers at a reasonable cost. I was so happy with how everything turned out. I would highly recommend her not only because she's a talented designer but also because she's an all around nice person and so delightful to work with. Thanks Jen! -

Jen was easy to work with from start to finish. She communicated clearly on the phone and worked with me to stay within budget. Jen's floral proposal was easy to understand and included visuals. It was easy to share my Pinterest floral page with her. On the ceremony day, Jen was flexible when I asked her to deliver the flowers to a new location. Wonderful florist - made our ceremony special
Jen is amazing. She was incredibly easy to work with by phone and email as we planned our ceremony. We did a small courthouse ceremony and Jen made us a bridal bouquet, small bouquets for the moms, and boutonnieres for the groom and dads. I love color, so I asked for a muted rainbow of flowers. Jen made beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres that were lovely. She even delivered them to my hotel room before the ceremony. Jen also made a few options for flowers to go in my hair and they were perfect. It was a pleasure to work with Jen and the flowers were such lovely highlight to our ceremony. (We had one of the last ceremonies at the SB courthouse before the shelter-in-place started) -

Jen is a floral goddess! She did all of the floral arrangements for my wedding and went above and beyond. She executed our vision perfectly and exceeded all expectations, while also adhering to a more modest budget. The florals were truly one of our favorite parts of the day and highlighted all other decor so beautifully and tastefully.
The greens draped in the chandeliers added such a romantic vibe, the BOUQUETS were jaw-dropping, the centerpieces were stunning, and all of the other sweet details (like the napkin greens) added such a nice touch. She even made a beautiful floral collar and vine-twisted leash for our dog.
We received so many compliments throughout the night and the days following the wedding about how memorable all of the flowers were. Jen is so talented and a joy to work with. She made the entire floral process so easy, stress-free, and fun! Don't even second guess it - book Jen ASAP!

If you are looking for a florist for your Santa Barbara wedding or surrounding areas, look no further this is it! I am the type of bride that likes to do her research, reads every inch of reviews and looks through ALL the albums on the vendors website to try to picture how my wedding would look if this was my vendor. Jen from Twisted Twig blew me away with floral arrangements that were far more spectacular than what I wanted. You pay for an expert in the field whom you will put all of your trust in to make sure your day looks as gorgeous as it does in your mind and Jen really delivers all the expectations and even goes beyond what you thought was imaginable. She is a diamond! you will not be disappointed. I will include some pictures so that you can truly visualize how amazing she is! I know that if you are anything like me you look at all the pictures! Jen is a pretty spectacular person and her business is just as spectacular. First off, I love that she does not require wedding flower packages and you can completely customize your order. What a relief! So I sent her a request and she quickly responded and we were on our way to our wedding flower order! I love how she does an initial call to get to know you and your visions. I felt like I built a relationship with her and it wasn't just a quick business transaction. She was open about prices and she quoted everything quickly. She asks for pictures and any notes to make sure your dream flowers come true. We got our fur baby a flower crown made so Jen offered to meet us to take measurements and discuss what we wanted. The day of our wedding arrived. She came into my bridal room with the bouquets and that's when the emotions started coming in! Those bouquets were UNBELIEVABLE! They were so gorgeous and the variety of flowers and how everything was put together was amazing. I had peonies, white poppies and a variety of greens. Everything was so fresh! See pictures of her work below. She also did two floral arrangements for the beginning of the aisle and wow also stunning. Her work is immaculate. I couldn't have asked for anything better. She also went around to my tables and helped decorate my table garlands with some of her peonies. Everything she did was done with care and love. She really is a lovely individual and will bring so much happiness to your wedding through her work and her personality. Thank you for everything Jen! -

Jen is a true professional and artist. We were so honored to have her create my bouquet, my husband's boutonniere and our table center piece. Twisted twig delivered the center piece to the Belmond and the other flowers to our hotel too. Every time we show our wedding photos, we always receive compliments on our flowers. If you want a traditional or unique arrangement, Jen is your florist. In addition, my arrangement lasted for weeks after our wedding. Thank you Jen for making our special day truly chic & modern. -

We met with Jen for the first time in February 2011 for a consultation. I really had no idea of what of flowers I wanted, I explained the look we were trying to achieve and she gave us great suggestions. We met with her again a month prior to the wedding for a preview of what our centerpieces would look like. We were so happy with all of the flowers they chose. The color and textures were perfect. They even stayed through the ceremony and then moved our flowers from the ceremony site into our reception site. We have had so many wonderful compliments on the flowers and they really popped in the pictures!
