October Wedding

Garrett Rain was amazing! He called the week of the wedding to discuss details we had previously spoken to Twisted Mics about and made sure he had everything correct so that we could have the best and most personal experience possible! All staff was responsive and answered any questions we had. I also did a mash up song for my father daughter dance and they took care of that for me! Everyone loved the music at our reception!

amazing!!!

10/10 experience with twisted mics from the minute we reached out to them to dj our ceremony/reception! Lexy helped us tremendously with all the paperwork and portal information leading up to our big day, she is so great at her job and so sweet! Steven was our Dj and he did a wonderful job! He did a 40 min phone call with us leading up to our big day to ensure everything was organized and planned to a T, showed a lot about him as a person!! Day of he was so caring and attentive and fun! Highly recommend twisted mics and Steven !

Jvon was our DJ from Twisted Mics, and the dance floor was never empty!
He communicated with us beforehand and made sure all our wishes came true. He definitely knew his millennial audience well!

We used Twisted Mics for our wedding on 5.31.25. They are so professional, friendly and easy to work with. Willie our DJ was awesome. He truly kept our guests entertained and catered to our needs! The price is reasonable and the quality is great!

Twisted Mics made our event perfect! From the planning, to the set up, to the wedding day, they made the process so easy!

I would recommend Twisted Mics to everyone! They made our entire wedding day flow and Ryan was the best Dj! He made sure our guests were on the dance floor the whole night! Twisted Mics is so easy to work with and even helped us create a timeline to make sure our day ran on time. Our outdoor ceremony was really windy but their sound was perfect and there were no issues at all. The Photo Booth was the perfect add on as well! our guests had so much fun with it and it was a fun thing to keep kids busy as well. Our wedding night was perfect thanks to Twisted Mics!

The best DJ for your Wedding!

Ryan was AMAZING! The day was perfect! The whole process was straightforward from the day we booked and got access to the online portal. Ryan was very easy to talk to the week of the wedding and even made last minute changes. The dance floor was full the whole night. We got so many compliments from our guests about how great of a DJ we had at our wedding! I highly recommend Ryan and Twisted Mics!

Amazing DJ for our wedding!

Jeff was incredible. He was extremely organized in the planning process and ensured the timeline was kept all day from the ceremony through to the last dance. We could not have had a better experience. He completely understood the assignment with the right music to play at the right time. We would recommend Twisted Mics for all events!

Gets the party started!

Very professional and frequently checked in with bride and groom. Was flexible with the timeline and had great music selection. Kept the dance floor active all night long. Would highly recommend!

We used Twisted Mic’s for our wedding last weekend and they were amazing! We worked with William/Willie and he was so helpful and informative day of! We don’t come from families that dance much but he tried his hardest to get people besides my niece and nephew to dance lol. We did the photo booth as well and it was a hit! All in all, 10/10 recommend working with them!

Exactly what we wanted ✅

So happy we went with Twisted Mics for our wedding reception. What caught my eye was the amazing value, doesn’t get much better than the prices and packages they offer. We had Robert Lorden and he definitely understood the assignment 👍 I was very specific I wanted a DJ that could mix music and it was banger after banger 😎 of course, I was very thorough with their client portal, made planning the event go smoothly. The best day ever!

Our Dj Ryan was awesome!! We told him exactly what we envisioned our wedding like and he delivered! He played all the songs we planned. He was adaptable when we had to change our timeline a bit! He kept the party going, there wasn’t a single song where there was no one on the dance floor. Ryan even joined us for several songs and really got into it. It says a lot when your Dj instantly becomes one of your friends throughout the night! Wish we could do it all over again!

Fantastic wedding dj!

I am SOO HAPPY that we chose Twisted Mics as our wedding DJ and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to dance the night away with their guests!!!!! Ryan did such an incredible job. He played all of the songs that we requested and kept the dance floor full all night. Anna and Lexy also did an excellent job communicating leading up to the event and answering all of our questions as well as helping us set up the entire timeline for our reception. We also rented the photobooth with them and the guests LOVED IT. 10/10 experience. Thank you Twisted Mics!!!

DJ Steven Was Awesome!

We used Twisted Mics for our August 2022 wedding, and DJ Steven Mendoza was the perfect MC/DJ. He played all of our favorite songs, he did a great job of riffing on our music style and making choices the day of, and he had the crowd pumped and dancing the whole night. We would recommend Twisted Mics and Steven to any other couple.

Great company

From the beginning Anna and Lexi did a great job helping us organize our wedding and laying out all the options for us. Great follow ups to make sure we had everything planned accordingly. Then the day of our wedding Genaro did a great job at keeping everything on track. Everyone was still dancing when the party was wrapping up, so you know the DJ made it happen! Best DJ ever!!!

Kyle was the best DJ we could have asked for: SO FUN & accommodating to our night! An overall good human & would not have wanted anyone else! He also saved us by keeping us informed of the weather & that there were storms coming through (an outdoor wedding, so of course the weather had to play some games with us)- the real mvp of the night!

An amazing company & an enthusiastic and passionate DJ!

Twisted Mics made it so easy to prepare our music for the wedding! They have an online portal that allows you the add your songs and anything you want the DJ to say. We had two planning meetings with the ladies who are in charge and they made everything super easy for us! The week of the wedding, DJ Jeff, called us and went over everything and made a plan! The day of, some things changed and Jeff made it super easy and stress free. He kept us informed and checked in often to see if we needed anything. Also, something very important to me was how amazing DJ Jeff was with my brother. My brother has special needs and always wants to be involved in whatever he can. DJ Jeff literally took my brother under his wing and Colin loved it!! I couldn’t recommend DJ Jeff or Twisted Mics any more!! Use them, you won’t regret it!

80's Themed Holiday Party

We hired Twisted Mic's and got Bryce as our DJ. He did an amazing job of keeping things moving, announcing our games & winners, as well as the song selection. Bryce really kept the evening fun and entertaining. Will definitely be recommending Twisted Mic's for any gatherings in the future!

Best day ever!

We had the BEST time out on the dance floor with our DJ, Jeff. He went above & beyond to make sure our reception was the best ever! I appreciated that he took the time to call us the week of the wedding, to review any final changes & make sure he had all of the correct information.

He handled our music transitions flawlessly during the ceremony & our dance floor was PACKED the entire night! We had so many compliments from our guests - we loved that he was out on the dance floor with us!!

Our impromptu last dance with the rest of our guests became one of my favorite wedding memories, & none of it would have been possible without Jeff! Thank you so much for an incredible & memorable day!

The most fun!

I absolutely loved working with Twisted Mics! They made sure everything ran according to plan the entire night, and worked with us to curate the perfect playlist. It was awesome working with Lexy and Anna at Twisted Mics! Music was super important to us because that is what keeps the mood and people having a great time. Their system is so organized and made song selection and timeline super easy to work with. Then I met our DJ and Willie was AMAZING!!! He kept people on the dance floor and even got out there himself. Then on top of that, he stayed extra and played music during tear down! We seriously loved Willie and couldn't recommend a better DJ company to work with! Everyone had a blast!

The planning process was so easy and DJ Obie was the absolute best. Picking music was so hard for us so we just let the professionals do it. The ceremony was so easy and the reception had people dancing all night (and I was worried that it wouldn’t be a dancing group). DJ Obie was amazing and so many guests came up and told us that!

If you are worried about choosing the right DJ for your wedding reception. Stop worrying and choose Twisted Mikes! For real.

The preplanning is very professional. Song choice is literally at your fingers tips, at home relaxing on your couch if you want.

Our DJ, Obie. Was everything we wished for. All we wanted was for our guests to have THE BEST time, making memories to last a life time. And boy did they.

Do yourself a huge favor and at least meet with Twisted Mikes to learn all they offer. I sincerely believe you won’t regret it.

What A Blast

We had heard Twisted Mics at an adult prom they hosted a few years back. We really enjoyed the music they did at that time and was even more impressed at our wedding. They listened to our preferences and followed everything we asked them to do. During the wedding, they genuinely cared about making sure everything was going well and making sure everyone had fun!

We are so glad we booked with Twisted Mics for our wedding! They were extremely professional and easy to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process (including a year-long COVID delay). Their internal planning platform & their event planner/manager, Lexy, made it very easy to set the music and timeline for our day. Our DJ, Mark, was amazing! He kept our timeline on track making our day stress free. He did a great job building a playlist based on our music taste and kept the party going all night long. Great DJ for our event

We had Bryan as our DJ for our work event. He was great at communicating throughout the event and was flexible when a few details changed. He provided great music choices and was awesome about playing all our staff's requests, we had a wide age range of those attending and it made it difficult to pick music, Bryan did a great job. Lexy was great to work with before the event and helped coordinate it all.

Use Twisted Mic's for your wedding if you love dancing!

I loved working with Twisted Mic's for our wedding! Lexy was always so quick to answer my questions and was incredibly nice! Forrest was our DJ and he was so fun and did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor. I loved being able to make the playlist and they were helpful with recommendations of songs when needed! Loved having Twisted Mics!!

Mark Blair did my brother's wedding last fall, so we were so excited that we got him too! Twisted Mics is so organized and make the planning process so easy with the online portal. It let's you plan as you go and allows it all to fall into place with no stress! Mark made sure we felt special on our big day and was very engaging with the crowd to give us a big party at our reception. Would absolutely recommend!!

We were recommended OB from another family member, the Gimm family loved him then, and loved him again! He was accommodating to our photography schedule and an amazing person to work with. He was so outgoing and involved everyone in every way possible! We highly recommend OB! Absolutely amazing DJ company!!

I cannot hardy put into words how amazing Twisted Mic’s was!! They made the entire process of planning our wedding day seamless and as easy as possible! GREAT to work with!

Twisted Mic's was AMAZING to work with! We got married this past weekend and we received so many compliments on how awesome the DJ was! Lexy was great at helping us get everything set up prior from helping us pick a monogram for the night to suggesting during dinner songs! They even offered us a military discount which made our experience even better! Seth was our DJ and he worked extremely hard to make sure that everything that we requested was taken care of! We threw a ton of stuff at him and he made sure to fit everything in there! We even provided him with a new game to play at future events with the guests! We would highly recommend Twisted Mic's for your next event!

Just why we were looking for!

Twisted Mics was AMAZING to work with! They were very helpful and accommodating, I appreciated they had options to be able to customize the packages. And DJ OB was PHENOMENAL! We loved Twisted Mic’s and would highly recommend! Lexy was really helpful coordinating everything prior to the event and Seth was our DJ. He was SO much fun! I honestly have never seen a dance floor so full for the whole night and he did a great job with our guests as we had a variety of musical tastes in the group. Book them!

Absolutely Incredible Service!

We absolutely LOVED our experience with DJ Ob from Twisted Mics! He went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding reception was incredible and was so interactive with our guests. He even came to the dance floor to do the Cupid Shuffle, Wobble, and Macarena! Lexy and Kelley were fantastic as we were planning our wedding too, and having to postpone our original date. We would absolutely recommend Twisted Mics!!

Mark was great!

Mark and Jaden made our night so special! Mark swooped in and saved the day when our speakers broke for the ceremony and he picked it up and took over no questions asked (except for our music of course😆). He helped get our small (and fairly shy) group pumped and active. The photo booth was a group favorite, so much fun! Our wedding was small due to Covid, but Mark kept the atmosphere upbeat. He was so flexible when we ended up an hour ahead of schedule. Thank you so much!

Amazing Experience!

Seth was our DJ for our wedding in Dubuque on October 10th and he was amazing! We had a blast! We were looking for more of a different more upbeat vibe for music for our reception and Seth had the perfect mixture for every age there. He kept everything on schedule and very professional! He kept the dance floor packed and kept us energized the whole night. He made it very fun with mixing music.. making you excited and trying to guess what songs he was mixing into next, you can tell how serious he takes his profession and the amount of effort he puts into his work to make everyone’s night amazing! We have got a ton of compliments on Seth and Twisted Mics. I can’t say enough good things about our experience!

They Rock!

Let me tell you right now if you want a good time call Twisted Mics for all your entertainment needs! Marc and Blair were absolutely the best! Not only did they come set up and go over details on Friday, but the day of the wedding they made sure everything went smoothly. Marc even got out on the dance floor and cut a rug with us!

I personally want to thank Lexy Jurevitz! She is the master planner behind the scenes and let me tell you she is in the right profession! She calmed all my nerves in the first few minutes of meeting her! She is beyond organized, and gave great suggestions that we used throughout our big day!

We can’t wait to see all the photo booth pictures, and appreciate Twisted Mics for providing so much fun at our wedding!

Best dj service ever!

Twisted Mic's is absolutely the best! Do not use any other service! We were lucky enough to book them for our company's Holiday party and they were phenomenal. Lexy was our event planner and made my life SO much easier by taking care of everything. I didn't have to worry about a thing! We did the Premium Corporate package. Seth was our DJ. He did an incredible job with the music choices and had the best announcement voice. He was very flexible with a few last minute changes. The photo booth was so much fun! The uplights and the monogram were well worth the upgrade. They had every detail taken care of and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I already want to book them again for next year! :)

Amazing DJ for a wedding reception

Kelley and the team at Twisted Mics we're incredible. Michael was an integral part of keeping the dance floor alive! Perfect DJ, Perfect Day

Twisted Mikes is amazing in every way! From when we booked them to the end of our reception, they were attentive, detail oriented, and just so flexible and kind. Our DJ, Obot (O.B.) was phenomenal! He was so charismatic and down to earth and overall, part of what made our night to memorable! I have never seen a DJ dance with the wedding guests as much as O.B.! Everyone loved him and they had such great things to say about him! Also, since Twisted Mikes owns the reception hall we booked, The University Club, we were blessed with the absolute best event coordinator! Kaitlin Ponce really made our day run so smoothly and seamlessly! Kelley was so helpful and responsive throughout the whole wedding process. He helped set up a wonderful itinerary for the day of, and really just put my mind at ease. Twisted Mic's was a hit at our wedding in Champaign. Our dance floor was jam packed the entire night, it was so full not everyone even fit on the dance floor and were dancing around it. Roosevelt did an amazing job. He contacted us before the event to go over details and then followed up the next day with a sweet picture of our first dance and a text thanking us. I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a DJ to keep the party going. Kelley was so easy to work with in getting everything set up. We had a skype call to discuss our songs for the ceremony and we had no idea what we wanted, Kelley went through all of his music giving us suggestions and made it so much easier for us to decide. We even changed a few of them after that call and Kelley was always prompt in making sure we had exactly what we wanted. If you want exceptional service and a DJ to keep everyone having fun, Twisted Mics is definitely who you want to call.

Twisted Mic's Music Entertainment was amazing for my wedding reception. The DJ did a great job with the music choices as well as stirring up the party to get people dancing. Also, he was very flexible and accommodating. He helped me organize a very unusual cake cutting ceremony involving swords and the fog machine making for a very exciting performance for the guests. Not only that, but right before a specific dance I found out one of the songs on the list had not yet been updated and he downloaded what I needed right away. Overall, I am so happy with how everything turned out. Wedding day was very stressful but Twisted Mic's Music Entertainment and the DJ Mark Blair made the night wonderful.

Twisted mics was amazing! Kelley was easy to get ahold of, and was a huge help when it came to helping us pick our music. Mark was the Dj at the wedding and the reception and was amazing. He was fun and even busted out his dance moves a few times. I would highly recommend them for any event!

Kelley was simply amazing in every aspect. We had so much fun with him before and during the wedding. In our meeting a month before the wedding he was extremely friendly and had many suggestions to help support what we were looking for. Kelley was always quick to reply with changes we wanted to make and surprises we wanted set up for each other prior to the wedding. The day of the wedding he showed his true dedication by driving over two hours through a snow storm and still arriving earlier than expected. The up-lighting, monogram, and dance floor lights all looked amazing. He did both the ceremony and reception and was perfect on his timing for all of our set songs. We were very impressed and happy he kept the dance floor packed all night, knowing what to play when to keep the party going. We have never seen a wedding dance floor that full from start to finish. We can not thank Kelley enough for being a part of our special day and making it as fun as it was. Love you Kelley, we're happy to call you our friend!

Working with Kelley and Mark was great. They made sure that they knew what music we wanted played and had the schedule for the night down. The music selection was great and they were very experienced with their equipment and knew what they were doing. I would absolutely suggest using them, I'm already looking for another event to hire them for.

Twisted Mics was amazing. They literally think of everything! I did not have to worry about any detail of the reception because they kept the evening running smoothly. My guests raved about how fun and energetic our DJ was, Mark even came out and taught the guests different dances. He was hilarious but also very professional, he was in contact with me the week before the wedding and was available 24 hours a day for my questions and concerns. Kelley is the owner of the company and he is prepared for everything, he has back up equipment and back up DJs just in case something goes wrong. They have packages for all price points and provide peace of mind during the reception. I highly recommend them to any bride who wants her reception to go off without a hitch.

Kelley was very responsive and helpful. Whenever I had any questions, he went above and beyond and always answered his phone and made it known I was free to stop in to his office at any time. I was setting up a special surprise for my wedding ceremony and Kelley & Jon were very flexible with my schedule and making it happen! Jon did an amazing job at our ceremony and reception! These guys are a ton of fun and very professional! I would highly recommend them!

This company is by far the best. The dj worked with me on planning my day and kept us on track. I would and have recommended them to everyone I know.

I couldn't be more pleased with Twisted Mic's. They did such a wonderful job at our wedding ceremony and reception, We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. We had a little issue with our venue being locked so they couldn't get in to set up until right before and by the time we got there they had busted their butts and made the reception absolutely beautiful! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ for any kind of event!!
